2Bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution and chemical forms of yttrium in rice seedling显示文摘Yttrium(Y) accumulation in soil is a serious environment problem in China. To understand the mechanisms involved in Y tolerance and detoxification in rice seedling, the bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution, and chemical forms of Y was investigated in the present study. The results show that the content of Y both in roots and shoots increases with the increasing concentration of Y, and a large amount of Y is stored in roots. Subcellular distribution of Y in rice indicates that the majority of Y is bound to cell wall. Meanwhile, various chemical forms of Y is absorbed by rice. The greatest amount of Y is extracted by 2% hydrate acetic acid(HAc) and 0.6 mol/L HCl(particularly 2% HAc), which indicates that most of Y is combined with un-dissolved phosphate and oxalate(particularly phosphate). Cluster analysis, based on Y abundance levels, reveals the relationship between Y distribution patterns and chemical forms. 5Variation of airborne quartz in air of Beijing during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting显示文摘Quartz particles are a toxic component of airborne paniculate matter(PM).Quartz concentrations were analyzed by X-ray diffraction in eighty-seven airborne PM samples collected from three locations in Beijing before,during,and after the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) Leaders' Meeting in 2014.The results showed that the mean concentrations of quartz in PM samples from the two urban sites were considerably higher than those from the rural site.The quartz concentrations in samples collected after the APEC meeting,when the pollution restriction lever was lifted,were higher than those in the samples collected before or during the APEC meeting.The quartz concentrations ranged from 0.97 to 13.2 μg/m^3,which were among the highest values amid those reported from other countries.The highest quartz concentration exceeded the Californian Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment reference exposure level and was close to the occupational threshold limit values for occupational settings.Moreover,a correlation analysis showed that quartz concentrations were positively correlated with concentrations of pollution parameters PM_(10),PM_(2.5),SO_2 and NO_x,but were negatively correlated with O_3 concentration.The results suggest that the airborne quartz particles may potentially pose health risks to the general population of Beijing.Gang Li Yingming Li Hongxing Zhang Honghua Li Guanjun Gao Qian Zhou Yuan Gao Wenjuan Li Huizhong Sun Xiaoke Wang Qinghua Zhang 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,1:1

7Turning a hot spot into a cold spot:polarization-controlled Fano-shaped local-field responses probed by a quantum dot显示文摘Optical nanoantennas can convert propagating light to local fields.The local-field responses can be engineered to exhibit nontrivial features in spatial,spectral and temporal domains,where local-field interferences play a key role.Here,we design nearly fully controllable local-field interferences in the nanogap of a nanoantenna,and experimentally demonstrate that in the nanogap,the spectral dispersion of the local-field response can exhibit tuneable Fano lineshapes with nearly vanishing Fano dips.A single quantum dot is precisely positioned in the nanogap to probe the spectral dispersions of the local-field responses.By controlling the excitation polarization,the asymmetry parameter q of the probed Fano lineshapes can be tuned from negative to positive values,and correspondingly,the Fano dips can be tuned across a broad spectral range.Notably,at the Fano dips,the local-field intensity is strongly suppressed by up to ~50-fold,implying that the hot spot in the nanogap can be turned into a cold spot.The results may inspire diverse designs of local-field responses with novel spatial distributions,spectral dispersions and temporal dynamics,and expand the available toolbox for nanoscopy,spectroscopy,nano-optical quantum control and nanolithography.Juan Xia Jianwei Tang Fanglin Bao Yongcheng Sun Maodong Fang Guanjun Cao Julian Evans Sailing He 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:1
8Cotton GhBRC1 regulates branching,flowering,and growth by integrating multiple hormone pathways显示文摘Cotton architecture is partly determined by shoot branching and flowering patterns.Gh BRC1 was previously identified by RNA-seq analysis of nulliplex-branching and normal-branching cotton.However,the roles of Gh BRC1 in cotton remain unclear.In the present study,investigations of nuclear localization and transcriptional activity indicated that Gh BRC1 has characteristics typical of transcription factors.Gene expression analysis showed that Gh BRC1 was highly expressed in axillary buds but displayed different expression patterns between the two branching types.Overexpression of Gh BRC1 in Arabidopsis significantly inhibited the number of branches and promoted flowering.In contrast,silencing Gh BRC1 in cotton significantly promoted seedling growth.Gh BRC1 was induced by multiple hormones,including strigolactones,which promoted seedling growth and seed germination of Arabidopsis plants overexpressing Gh BRC1.Consistent with these findings,RNA-seq analysis of virus-induced gene silencing treated cotton revealed that a large number of genes were differentially expressed between Gh BRC1-silenced and control plants,and these genes were significantly enriched in plant hormone signalling pathways.Together,our data indicates that Gh BRC1 regulates plant branching and flowering through multiple regulatory pathways,especially those regulating plant hormones,with functions partly differing from those of Arabidopsis BRC1.These results provide insights into the molecular mechanisms controlling plant architecture,which is important for breeding cotton with ideal plant architecture and high yield.Quan Sun Yuanhui Xie Huimin Li Jinlei Liu Rui Geng Ping Wang Zongyan Chu Ying Chang Guanjun Li Xiao Zhang Youlu Yuan Yingfan Cai 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,1:0

10Advances in the Application of Perovskite Materials显示文摘Nowadays, the soar of photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells has set off a fever in the study of metal halide perovskite materials. The excellent optoelectronic properties and defect tolerance feature allow metal halide perovskite to be employed in a wide variety of applications. This article provides a holistic review over the current progress and future prospects of metal halide perovskite materials in representative promising applications, including traditional optoelectronic devices(solar cells, light-emitting diodes, photodetectors, lasers), and cutting-edge technologies in terms of neuromorphic devices(artificial synapses and memristors) and pressure-induced emission. 11Effects of different nitrogen forms and concentrations on seedling growth traits and physiological characteristics of Populus simonii × P. nigra显示文摘Numerous growth and physiological variables of 3-week-old Populus simonii × P.nigra seedlings were assessed after treatment with either nitrate nitrogen(NO_(3)^(−)--N)(0.1,0.5,1,5,or 10 mmol·L^(−1)) or ammonium nitrogen(NH_(4)^(+)+-N)(0.1,0.5,1,5,or 10 mmol·L^(−1)) to determine the best nitrogen form and concentration to optimize growth,biomass allocation,pigment content,and photosynthetic capacity.The results of combining membership function and an evaluation index suggested that,5 mmol·L^(−1) nitrogen,regardless of the form,yielded the highest comprehensive evaluation index and good growth.In addition,a Pearson correlation analysis and network visualization revealed that the total mass,shoot mass,root mass,leaf dry mass,plant height,leaf area,chlorophyll a and total chlorophyll had a physiological index connectivity degree≥15 for both nitrogen forms.Net photosynthetic rate,stomatal conductance,transpiration rate,maximum photochemical efficiency of PSII,total nitrogen content,ground diameter,chlorophyll b,and carotenoid were unique indices for evaluating NH_(4)^(+)+-N-based nutrition,which could provide a theoretical basis for evaluating the effects of nitrogen fertilizer on seedlings,cultivation periods,and stress tolerance in P.simonii× P.nigra.Zhongye Liu Wei Li Zhiru Xu Huihui Zhang Guangyu Sun Heng Zhang Chuanping Yang Guanjun Liu 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,5:0
12Sensor Network Structure Recognition Based on P-law显示文摘A sensor graph network is a sensor network model organized according to graph network structure.Structural unit and signal propagation of core nodes are the basic characteristics of sensor graph networks.In sensor networks,network structure recognition is the basis for accurate identification and effective prediction and control of node states.Aiming at the problems of difficult global structure identification and poor interpretability in complex sensor graph networks,based on the characteristics of sensor networks,a method is proposed to firstly unitize the graph network structure and then expand the unit based on the signal transmission path of the core node.This method which builds on unit patulousness and core node signal propagation(called p-law)can rapidly and effectively achieve the global structure identification of a sensor graph network.Different from the traditional graph network structure recognition algorithms such as modularity maximization and spectral clustering,the proposed method reveals the natural evolution process and law of graph network subgroup generation.Experimental results confirm the effectiveness,accuracy and rationality of the proposed method and suggest that our method can be a new approach for graph network global structure recognition.Chuiju You Guanjun Lin Jinming Qiu Ning Cao Yundong Sun Russell Higgs 2023Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,46,8:0

17Design and 3D printing of porous cavity insulation structure for ultra-high electrical withstanding capability显示文摘Vacuum-dielectric interface is the most vulnerable part of vacuum insulation systems where surface electrical breakdown is prone to happen,hence severely restricts the development of advanced electro-vacuum devices with large capacity and its miniaturisation.Generally,a direct and effective way to improve vacuum surface insulation is to alleviate the initiation and development of multipactor phenomena.Inspired by this approach,the authors report a 3D-printed insulation structure designed with a millimetrescale surface cavity covered by periodic through-pore array via stereolithography,exhibiting remarkable multipactor suppression and flashover threshold improvement,well outperforming the conventional flashover mitigation strategies.Experiments and simulations demonstrate that electrons in the multipactor region pass through-pores and are unlikely to escape from the cavity,hence no longer participate in the above-surface multipactor process,and eventually improve flashover threshold.The proposed approach provides new inspiration for the design of advanced insulators featuring ultrahigh electrical withstanding capability and brings up new insight into pertinent industrial applications.Xiong Yang Guangyu Sun Baipeng Song Wenhu Han Chao Wang Wendong Li Shu Zhang Falun Song Fangzheng Zou Guanjun Zhang 2023High Voltage2023,8,4:0
