1The CAMS Climate System Model and a Basic Evaluation of Its Climatology and Climate Variability Simulation显示文摘A new coupled climate system model(CSM) has been developed at the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences(CAMS) by employing several state-of-the-art component models. The coupled CAMS-CSM consists of the modified atmospheric model [ECmwf-HAMburg(ECHAM5)], ocean model [Modular Ocean Model(MOM4)], sea ice model [Sea Ice Simulator(SIS)], and land surface model [Common Land Model(CoLM)]. A detailed model description is presented and both the pre-industrial and 'historical' simulations are preliminarily evaluated in this study.The model can reproduce the climatological mean states and seasonal cycles of the major climate system quantities,including the sea surface temperature, precipitation, sea ice extent, and the equatorial thermocline. The major climate variability modes are also reasonably captured by the CAMS-CSM, such as the Madden–Julian Oscillation(MJO), El Ni?o–Southern Oscillation(ENSO), East Asian Summer Monsoon(EASM), and Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO).The model shows a promising ability to simulate the EASM variability and the ENSO–EASM relationship. 2Positioning error compensation of an industrial robot using neural networks and experimental study显示文摘Due to the characteristics of high efficiency,wide working range,and high flexibility,industrial robots are being increasingly used in the industries of automotive,machining,electrical and electronic,rubber and plastics,aerospace,food,etc.Whereas the low positioning accuracy,resulted from the serial configuration of industrial robots,has limited their further developments and applications in the field of high requirements for machining accuracy,e.g.,aircraft assembly.In this paper,a neural-network-based approach is proposed to improve the robots’positioning accuracy.Firstly,the neural network,optimized by a genetic particle swarm algorithm,is constructed to model and predict the positioning errors of an industrial robot.Next,the predicted errors are utilized to realize the compensation of the target points at the robot’s workspace.Finally,a series of experiments of the KUKA KR 500–3 industrial robot with no-load and drilling scenarios are implemented to validate the proposed method.The experimental results show that the positioning errors of the robot are reduced from 1.529 mm to 0.344 mm and from 1.879 mm to 0.227 mm for the no-load and drilling conditions,respectively,which means that the position accuracy of the robot is increased by 77.6%and 87.9%for the two experimental conditions,respectively.Bo LI Wei TIAN Chufan ZHANG Fangfang HUA Guangyu CUI Yufei LI 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:9
3Modeling of fast charging station equipped with energy storage显示文摘The popularization of EVs(electric vehicles) has brought an increasingly heavy burden to the development of charging facilities. To meet the demand of rapid energy supply during the driving period, it is necessary to establish a fast charging station in public area. However, EVs arrive at the charging station randomly and connect to the distribution network for fast charging, it causes the grid power to fluctuate greatly and the peak-valley loads to alternate frequently, which is harmful to the stability of distribution network. In order to reduce the power fluctuation of random charging, the energy storage is used for fast charging stations. The queuing model is determined to demonstrate the load characteristics of fast charging station, and the state space of fast charging station system is described by Markov chain. After that the power of grid and energy storage is quantified as the number of charging pile, and each type of power is configured rationally to establish the random charging model of energy storage fast charging station. 4Rapid Detection of Wheat Blast Pathogen Magnaporthe oryzae Triticum Pathotype Using Genome-Specific Primers and Cas12a-mediated Technology显示文摘Wheat blast,caused by the fungus Magnaporthe oryzae Triticum(MoT)pathotype,is a devastating disease persistent in South America and Bangladesh.Since MoT generally fails to cause visual symptoms in wheat until the heading stage when the infection would have advanced,disease control by fungicide application solely based on the detection of visual symptoms is ineffective.To develop an accurate and sensitive method to detect MoT at the seedling and vegetative stages for disease control,we sequenced the genomes of two MoT isolates from Brazil and identified two DNA fragments,MoT-6098 and MoT-6099,that are present in the MoT genome but not in the genome of the rice-infecting Magnaporthe oryzae Oryzae(MoO)pathotype.Using polymerase chain reaction(PCR),we confirmed the specificity of the two markers in 53 MoT and MoO isolates from South America and Bangladesh.To test the efficiency of the two markers,we first established a loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)method to detect MoT at isothermal conditions,without the use of a PCR machine.Following this,we used the Cas12a protein and guide RNAs(gRNAs)to target the MoT-6098 and MoT-6099 sequences.The activated Cas12a showed indiscriminate single-stranded deoxyribonuclease(ssDNase)activity.We then combined targetdependent Cas12a ssDNase activation with recombinase polymerase amplification(RPA)and nucleic acid lateral flow immunoassay(NALFIA)to develop a method that accurately,sensitively,and cost-effectively detects MoT-specific DNA sequences in infected wheat plants.This novel technique can be easily adapted for the rapid detection of wheat blast and other important plant diseases in the field.Houxiang Kang Ye Peng Kangyu Hua Yufei Deng Maria Bellizzi Dipali Rani Gupta Nur Uddin Mahmud Alfredo S.Urashima Sanjoy Kumar Paul Gary Peterson Yilin Zhou Xueping Zhou Md Tofazzal Islam Guo-Liang Wang 2021Engineering2021,7,9:4

6The CMIP6 Historical Simulation Datasets Produced by the Climate System Model CAMS-CSM显示文摘This paper describes the historical simulations produced by the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences(CAMS)climate system model(CAMS-CSM),which are contributing to phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6).The model description,experiment design and model outputs are presented.Three members’historical experiments are conducted by CAMS-CSM,with two members starting from different initial conditions,and one excluding the stratospheric aerosol to identify the effect of volcanic eruptions.The outputs of the historical experiments are also validated using observational data.It is found that the model can reproduce the climatological mean states and seasonal cycle of the major climate system quantities,including the surface air temperature,precipitation,and the equatorial thermocline.The long-term trend of air temperature and precipitation is also reasonably captured by CAMS-CSM.There are still some biases in the model that need further improvement.This paper can help the users to better understand the performance and the datasets of CAMS-CSM.Xinyao RONG Jian LI Haoming CHEN Jingzhi SU Lijuan HUA Zhengqiu ZHANG Yufei XIN 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,2:2
7Fabrication of Cu/rGO/MoS2 nanohybrid with energetic visible-light response for degradation of rhodamine B显示文摘A novel visible-light-driven Cu/rGO/MoS2(CRM) ternary nanostructure as a photocatalyst with high catalytic activity towards environmental purification using solar energy was successfully synthesized through a facile solvothermal method.It was found that the nanoflower structure of MoS2 increased the number of its exposed edges.Meanwhile rGO as a catalytic substrate played a role of charge-carrier channel to improve the separation of holes and electrons,which originated from the band gap absorption of MoS2.The content of Cu in photocatalyst affected photocatalytic performance obviously.And the optimal 30% Cu/rGO/MoS2 possessed the highest photocatalytic performance,which could be attributed to the improved separation of charges and synergistic effects among Cu,rGO and MoS2.The removal efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB) over CRM was up to 100% in 5 min.CRM as a photocatalyst maintained good reproducibility and stability during 3 times of the recycle experiments.These results indicate CRM is a promising photocatalyst for degrading organic pollutants in wastewater.Huanjing Liang Peng Hua Yufei Zhou Zhimin Fu Jiaoning Tang Junfeng Niu 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:2
