| 1 | Experimental study on permanent deformation characteristics of coarse-grained soil under repeated dynamic loading显示文摘Practical assessment of subgrade settlement induced by train operation requires developing suitable models capable of describing permanent deformation characteristics of subgrade filling under repeated dynamic loading.In this paper,repeated load triaxial tests were performed on coarse-grained soil(CGS),and the axial permanent strain of CGS under different confining pressures and dynamic stress amplitudes was analysed.Permanent deformation behaviors of CGS were categorized based on the variation trend of permanent strain rate with accumulated permanent strain and the shakedown theory.A prediction model of permanent deformation considering stress state and number of load cycles was established,and the ranges of parameters for different types of dynamic behaviors were also divided.The results indicated that the variational trend of permanent strain rate with accumulated permanent strain can be used as a basis for classifying dynamic behaviors of CGS.The stress state(confining pressure and dynamic stress amplitude)has significant effects on the permanent strain rate.The accumulative characteristics of permanent deformation of CGS with the number of load cycles can be described by a power function,and the model parameters can reflect the influence of confining pressure and dynamic stress amplitude.The study’s results could help deepen understanding of the permanent deformation characteristics of CGS. | Huihao Mei Sajjad Satvati Wuming Leng | 2021 | Railway Engineering Science2021，29，1： | 2 |

| 5 | The expression of chemokine MCP-1 in colorectal carcinoma and its relationship to the infiltration of macrophage显示文摘Objective: To study the expression of MCP-1 in colorectal carcinoma and its relationship to the infiltration of the macrophage and to the biological behaviour of infiltration and metastasis of colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of the MCP-1 mRNA was assessed in colorectal carcinoma collected freshly from surgical specimen by RT-PCR and the expres- sion of the MCP-1 protein was assessed in colorectal carcinoma collected from surgical specimen by immunohistochemistry. The tumor infiltrating cell and macrophage were also investigated by immunohistochemistry. Results: All the 12 specimens of colorectal carcinoma detected by RT-PCR expressed the MCP-1 mRNA; MCP-1 protein was detected in 90℅ (36/40) cases of the tumor; The expression of the MCP-1 protein in colorectal carcinoma correlated negatively with its state of metastasis and the Dukes’ stage. But a postive correlation was found between the expression of MCP-1 and the infiltrated macrophage. The stron- ger expression of MCP-1, the more number of the infiltrated macrophage. | 6 | Design of a novel chimeric peptide via dual blockade of CD47/SIRPαand PD-1/PD-L1 for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Although immune checkpoint inhibition has been shown to effectively activate antitumor immunity in various tumor types,only a small subset of patients can benefit from PD-1/PD-L1 blockade.CD47 expressed on tumor cells protects them from phagocytosis through interaction with SIRPαon macrophages,while PD-L1 dampens T cell-mediated tumor killing.Therefore,dual targeting PD-L1 and CD47 may improve the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy.A chimeric peptide Pal-DMPOP was designed by conjugating the double mutation of CD47/SIRPαblocking peptide(DMP)with the truncation of PD-1/PD-L1 blocking peptide OPBP-1(8-12)and was modified by a palmitic acid tail.Pal-DMPOP can significantly enhance macrophage-mediated phagocytosis of tumor cells and activate primary T cells to secret IFN-γin vitro.Due to its superior hydrolysis-resistant activity as well as tumor tissue and lymph node targeting properties,Pal-DMPOP elicited stronger anti-tumor potency than Pal-DMP or OPBP-1(8-12)in immune-competent MC38 tumor-bearing mice.The in vivo anti-tumor activity was further validated in the colorectal CT26 tumor model.Furthermore,Pal-DMPOP mobilized macrophage and T-cell anti-tumor responses with minimal toxicity.Overall,the first bispecific CD47/SIRPαand PD-1/PD-L1 dual-blockade chimeric peptide was designed and exhibited synergistic anti-tumor efficacy via CD8^(+)T cell activation and macrophage-mediated immune response.The strategy could pave the way for designing effective therapeutic agents for cancer immunotherapy. | Zheng Hu Wanqiong Li Shaomeng Chen Danhong Chen Ran Xu Danlu Zheng Xin Yang Shuzhen Li Xiuman Zhou Xiaoshuang Niu Youmei Xiao Zhuoying He Huihao Li Juan Liu Xinghua Sui Yanfeng Gao | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023，66，10： | 1 |

| 10 | Global pattern and determinants of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccine coverage and progression:a global ecological study显示文摘Background:Understanding and minimizing existing global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccination disparities is critical to global population health and eliminating health inequities.The study aims to investigate the disparities of vaccination coverage and progression and the associated economic and educational determinants to inform global COVID-19 vaccination strategies.Methods:COVID-19 vaccination coverage data from 206 countries used in the study were derived from“Our World in Data”website.After obtaining the vaccination coverage indicators,we fitted the progression indicators for vaccination.Correlation and multiple linear regression analysis were used to examine the effects of gross domestic product(GDP)per capita,Gini index,education,and their interactions on the coverage and progression of the COVID-19 vaccination.Results:The coverage of COVID-19 vaccination ranged from less than 30 doses to more than 150 doses per hundred people,from less than 15%to more than 75%for proportion of people vaccinated,from less than 15%to more than 60%for proportion of people fully vaccinated.Similarly,the progression of vaccination ranged from less than 0.1 to more than 0.6 for progression of total number of doses,from less than 0.1 to more than 0.3 for progression of proportion of people vaccinated,and from less than 0.1 to more than 0.4 for progression of proportion of people fully vaccinated.GDP per capita and education were positively associated with the coverage and progression,while Gini index was negatively associated with the coverage and progression.Negative interaction between GDP per capita and education was also observed for coverage(0=-0.012 to-0.011,P<0.05)and progression(0=-0.012 to-0.011,P<0.05).Conclusions:Substantial geographic disparities existed for the coverage and progression of COVID-19 vaccination. | Huihao Wang Bin Yu Xinguang Chen Hong Yan | 2023 | Global Health Journal2023，7，1： | 0 |
