| 1 | Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang in Treating Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus with Hearing Loss显示文摘Objective To study the efficacy and safety of the Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang (Hypoglycemic Anti-Deafness Capsule) in treating non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus with hearing loss. Methods Two hundred ninety six patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and hearing loss were randomly assigned to a treatment group(n=164, 208 ears) and a control group(n=132, 184 ears). Patients in the treatment group were treated with the Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang and supplement herbal preparations as indicated by traditional Chinese medicine dialectical assessment, while control patients received glibenclamide and conventional treatments for deafness. Hearing, fasting blood glucose(FBG), post-prandial blood glucose(PBG), 24 hour urine sugar, platelet function indices, blood superoxide dismutase(SOD) and lipid peroxides(LPO) levels, and symptom improvement were compared between the two groups. Results The rate of hearing improvement was 56.7% for the treatment group and 26.6% for the control. FBG, PBG and 24 hour urine sugar improved in both groups, but the last two were superior in the treatment group compared to the control. Symptoms improvement was also superior in the treatment group compared to the control. In patients receiving Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang treatment, platelet function indices, SOD and LPO were all improved, while only LOP improvement was noticed in control patients. No acute or long-term toxicity was demonstrated for the Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang in animal tests. The Jiang Tang Fang Long Jiao Nang lowered blood glucose and serum triglycerides in a rat model of alloxan-induced diabetes. | 3 | Process optimization of reaction of acid leaching residue of asbestos tailing and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution显示文摘Silica is the major component of the acid leaching residue of asbestos tailing. The waterglass solution can be prepared by the reaction of the residue with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. Compared to the high temperature reaction method, this process is environmental friendly and low cost. In this paper, the reaction process of the residue and the sodium hydroxide aqueous solution is optimized. The optimum reaction process parameters are as follows: the usage of sodium hydroxide is 26.4 g/100 g acid leaching residue, the reaction temperature is 90℃, the reaction time is 1 h, and the ratio of the liquid/solid is 2.0. The significance sequence of the process parameters to the alkali leaching reaction effect is the usage of sodium hydroxide > the ratio of the liquid/solid > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. The significance sequence to the leaching ratio of SiO2 is the ratio of the liquid/solid > the usage of sodium hydroxide > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. The significance sequence to the modulus of the sodium silicate is the ratio of the liquid/solid > the usage of sodium hydroxide > the reaction time > the reaction temperature. Under the optimum conditions, the leaching ratio of the SiO2 is 77.5%, and the modulus of the sodium silicate is 3.15. | 4 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Fiber Laser Welded GH3535 Superalloy显示文摘As a primary material of the thorium molten salt reactor(TMSR) that is a suitable candidate reactor of the Generation IV nuclear reactors, GH3535 superalloy was successfully welded. The effect of laser beam welding(LBW) on microstructure evolution of fusion zone(FZ) and heat affected zone(HAZ), such as element segregation, precipitate behavior and grain evolution, was investigated. The microhardness and tensile properties were tested and discussed. The results of microstructure evolution showed that a number of fine M_6C-y eutectic phases precipitated at solidification grain boundaries and interdendritic region in FZ. Compared to base metal zone(BMZ), the grain size of HAZ has no obvious change. While a few of M_6C-y eutectic phases were observed in partially melted zone(PMZ) of HAZ. The results of microhardness indicated that the hardness of FZ was higher than that of HAZ and BMZ. The results of tensile test showed that the ultimate tensile strength of joints at room temperature, 650 and 700?C were98%, 97% and 99% of that of BM, respectively. | 5 | Dynamic Change of Ecological Footprint in Xingtai City in the Years 2003-2009显示文摘Quantitative estimation of the ecological footprint in Xingtai City in the years 2003-2009 is carried out by using the Ecological Footprint Model and the Time Series.Result shows that the per capita ecological footprint demand increases in Xingtai City from the year 2003 to 2009;and land use for energy shows a significant increase,accounting for the maximum proportion in per capita ecological footprint demand.Per capita ecological footprint supply gradually decreases.Ecological supply provided by cultivated land occupies the greatest proportion in the supply of per capita ecological carrying capacity,which is the main factor determining the supply of ecological carrying capacity in Xingtai City.In the years 2003-2009,ecological footprint of Xingtai City is at the state of ecological deficit.This indicates that the economic and social development of Xingtai City is based on the over-exploitation of resources,especially the cultivated land and energy land.Thus,the development mode of Xingtai City has already been in a state of unsustainable development.Based on this,corresponding countermeasures are put forward for the sustainable development in future,so as to implement the healthy control of the sustainable development in Xingtai City,China. | CHEN Ji-bing,LI Yu-ping Department of Geography,Xingtai University,Xingtai 054001,China | 2011 | Asian Agricultural Research2011,3,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Analysis of the Change Trends of Temperature and Frost-free Period in Xingtai in Recent 53 Years显示文摘[Objective] The changes trend of temperature and frost-free period in Xingtai in recent 53 years were studied.[Method] According to the climate data of Xingtai City and Nangong County in 1958-2010,the changes trend of the temperature,the first and the last frost day,and the frost-free days in Xingtai were studied.The characteristics of the changes of temperature and frost-free days in Xingtai in recent 53 years were studied.[Result] No matter in city or countryside,the annual average temperature was increasing.The climate tendency rates in Xingtai and Nangong were about 0.5 and 0.2 ℃/10 a respectively.Especially,since 1996,the annual average temperature increasing trend was about 1.0 ℃/10 a.The average temperature of the four seasons was also climbing and was similar to the increasing span of the annual average temperature.The annual average temperature increasing span was the largest in winter.And the increase of the annual average temperature in winter was the largest and the increase of the annual average temperature was caused by the increase of the average temperature in winter.The urban annual average temperature was obviously higher than that of the countryside,which reflected the characteristics of tropical island effect.No matter in the city or the countryside,the early frost day,final frost day and frost-free day showed same tendency,namely,the delay of early frost day,advance of final-frost day,extension of frost-free day;the day of urban early frost was late than that of the countryside,and the final frost day was earlier than that of the countryside,the frost-free days were longer than that of countryside and indirectly influenced by urban heat effect.[Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for the development and application of thermal resources in Xingtai. | CHENG Xiao-hui Xingtai Meteorological Administration in Hebei Province,Xingtai 054000,China | 2011 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2011,2,7: | 2 |

| 8 | Reducing relapse and accelerating osteogenesis in rapid maxillary expansion using an injectable mesoporous bioactive glass/fibrin glue composite hydrogel显示文摘Rapid maxillary expansion(RME),as a common treatment for craniomaxillofacial deformity,faces the challenge of high relapse rates and unsatisfactory therapeutic effects.In this study,a standardized Sprague-Dawley(SD)rat RME model was first established with a modified expander as well as retainer design and optimized anterior maxillary expanding force of 100 g which exerted the most synchronized mobility of mid-palatal suture and incisors.Via the standardized model,the high relapse rate was proven to be attributed to insufficient osteogenesis in expanded suture,requiring long-term retainer wearing in clinical situations.To reduce the relapse rate,mesoporous bioactive glass/fibrin glue(MBG/FG)composite hydrogels were developed for an in situ minimal invasive injection that enhance osteogenesis in the expanded palate.The component of 1 wt%MBG was adopted for enhanced mechanical strength,matched degradation rate and ion dissolution,excellent in vitro biocompatibility and osteoinductivity.Effects of 1%MBG/FG composite hydrogel on osteogenesis in expanded mid-palatal sutures with/without retention were evaluated in the standardized model.The results demonstrated that injection of 1%MBG/FG composite hydrogel significantly promoted bone formation within the expanded mid-palatal suture,inhibited osteoclastogenesis and benefited the balance of bone remodeling towards osteogenesis.Combination of retainer and injectable biomaterial was demonstrated as a promising treatment to reduce relapse rate and enhance osteogenesis after RME.The model establishment and the composite hydrogel development in this article might provide new insight to other craniomaxillofacial deformity treatment and design of bone-repairing biomaterials with higher regenerative efficiency. | Hanjiang Zhao Xiangyu Wang Anting Jin Minjiao Wang Zeying Wang Xingtai Huang Jiewen Dai Xudong Wang Dan Lin Steve GF.Shen | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,12: | 2 |

| 14 | Effect of Milling Time on the Microstructure and Tensile Properties of Ultrafine Grained Ni–SiC Composites at Room Temperature显示文摘Bulk metallic nickel–silicon carbide nano-particle(Ni–Si CNP) composites, with milling time ranged from8 to 48 h, were prepared in a planetary ball mill and sintered using a spark plasma sintering(SPS)furnace. The microstructure of the Ni–Si CNP composites was characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and their mechanical properties were investigated by tensile measurements. The TEM results showed well-dispersed Si CNP particles, either within the matrix, between twins or along grain boundaries(GB), as well as the presence of stacking faults and twin structures, characteristics of materials with low stacking fault energy. Dislocation lines were also observed to interact with the Si CNP which were plastically nondeformable. A synergistic relationship existed between Hall–Petch strengthening and dispersion strengthening mechanisms, which was shown to greatly influence the mechanical properties of the Ni–Si CNP composites. Both the maximum yield and tensile strengths were found in the Ni–Si CNP composite with a milling time of 48 h, whereas the increased rate of strengths drastically decreased in material milled above 8 h due to the significant Si CNP agglomeration. The ball milling process resulted in the formation of nano-scale, ultra-fine grained(UFG) Ni–Si CNP composites when the milling time was extended for longer periods, greatly strengthening these materials.
