| 1 | Experimental Investigation on Critical Heat Flux for Water Flowing in a Vertical Uniformly Heated Rifled Tube under Near-critical Pressures显示文摘This study experimentally investigated the critical heat flux(CHF) of departure from nucleate boiling(DNB) of water flowing under near-critical pressures in a 2 m-long vertical upward rifled tube with the size of Φ35 × 5.67 mm. Operating conditions included pressures of 18–21 MPa, mass fluxes of 475–1000 kg·m^(-2)·s^(-1), inlet subcooling temperatures of 3–5°C, and wall heat fluxes of 40–960 kW·m^(-2). Tube wall temperature distribution and heat transfer performance in different test conditions were obtained. The effects of the operating parameters on CHF were analyzed. Four heat transfer coefficient correlations were evaluated against our experimental data for further investigation of the two-phase heat transfer characteristics. A heat transfer correlation based on Martinelli number utilized in two-phase region and two empirical correlations used to predict the CHF in rifled tube at near-critical pressures were proposed. Meanwhile, experimental CHF data in rifled tube were compared with six widely used correlations and a CHF look-up table. The CHF enhancement effect in rifled tube is obvious as compared with the CHF data in smooth tube. Results show that DNB occurs at low vapor quality and subcooled region in the rifled tube at near-critical pressures. The increase in pressure leads to the early occurrence of DNB and the decrease in CHF, whereas the increase in mass flux delays the occurrence of DNB and results in the increase in CHF. DNB presents a tendency to move toward the inlet of the rifled tube. At individual operating conditions, DNB and dryout coexist at different sections of the rifled tube. | XIE Haiyan YANG Dong ZHAO Yunjie JIANG Huiqing QU Mofeng | 2018 | Journal of Thermal Science2018,27,6: | 3 |

| 8 | Endoscopically controlled surgery with open hemilaminectomy for the treatment of intradural extramedullary tumors:an operative technique and short-term outcomes of 20 consecutive cases显示文摘Background:To present a surgical technique for the treatment of intradural extramedullary(IDEM)tumors by using endoscopically controlled surgery with open hemilaminectomy technique. Methods:In this study,20 patients with 22 IDEM tumors were enrolled. An endoscopically controlled surgery with open hemilaminectomy was employed to remove the tumors.Data related to clinical symptoms and medical images before and after surgery were collected for perioperative evaluation and follow-up analysis. Results:All the tumors in 20 patients were well removed. The clinical symptoms were significantly reduced in all the patients as well. The short-term follow-up data showed that there was no tumor recurrence or spinal deformity. Conclusion:The endoscopically controlled surgery with open hemilaminectomy technique provided favorable exposure and satisfactory resection to the IDEM tumors. It may be an effective surgical method for treating IDEM tumors.Larger samples and longer follow-up data are needed to verify its long-term effectiveness. | Xiaorong Yan Huiqing Wang Cai Li Yuanxiang Lin Lin Lin Shinong Zhu Chenyang Wang Zhangya Lin Changzhen Jiang Dezhi Kang | 2021 | Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2021,7,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Novel design and simulation of curved blade oil scoop with high oil capture efficiency显示文摘As the load and working environment temperature increasing, high efficiency oil lubrication was urgently needed for the main bearing of aeroengine. However, the low oil capture efficiency of radial oil scoop affects the application of under-race lubrication structure with radial oil collection. In this work,a novel design of curved blade oil scoop for under-race lubrication is proposed to improve the oil capture efficiency.First of all,the principle of relative velocity optimization is proposed by analyzing the collision process between blade and oil jet for theoretical research. Then, the theoretical curve equations of blade inlet under three different oil jet incidence conditions are solved. After that, the monotonicity of the theoretical curves is analyzed. The effects of rotation speed, oil jet velocity, eccentric distance of oil jet,and include angle of curve are analyzed. The location of the collision points of proposed theoretical curves are also been optimized. Finally,a transient Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)simulation of the novel oil scoop design was carried out.The simulation results show that the capture efficiency of curved blade oil scoop can be improved by 30%comparing to the traditional design. | Jingwen QIN Hui GUO Huiqing JIANG Fuliang WANG Weiwei MAN Yaguo LYU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,9: | 0 |
