| 1 | Co-Channel Interference Suppression Techniques for Full Duplex Cellular System显示文摘Co-frequency and co-time full duplex(CCFD) is a promising technique for improving spectral efficiency in next generation wireless communication systems. However, for the applications of CCFD in a cellular network, severe co-channel interference is an essential problem. Specifically, there are two significant interferences, i.e., inter-terminal interference(ITI) and inter-cell interference(ICI), which lead to an obvious performance degradation. In this paper, two techniques are proposed for suppressing the ITI and ICI in a CCFD cellular system, respectively. The first technique is obtained by modeling the three-node CCFD system as the Z-channel. After deriving the sum-capacity of the Z-channel, a sum-capacity-achieving scheme based on successive interference cancellation(SIC) is proposed. The second technique is designed by combining the fractional frequency reuse scheme with CCFD. The performance gains of the proposed two techniques in terms of signalto-interference plus noise ratio(SINR) and sumcapacity are analyzed. | 5 | A High Spectral Efficiency System Enabled by Free Window with Full Duplex显示文摘This paper studies the capacity issues of a wireless communication system that implements single channel full duplex(SCFD) communication at the base station(BS), thereby the mobile stations share the channel via time division duplex(TDD). The system makes use of the same setup as has been used in previous studies of SCFD, but unlike these previous systems, the new system uses water-filling to maximize the spectral efficiency of the uplink channel. The concept of a free window is introduced to the duplex model for measuring, intuitively, the effective bandwidth of the bi-directional communication. | 6 | High‑Performance Flexible Microneedle Array as a Low‑Impedance Surface Biopotential Dry Electrode for Wearable Electrophysiological Recording and Polysomnography显示文摘Microneedle array(MNA)electrodes are an effective solution to achieve high-quality surface biopotential recording without the coordination of conductive gel and are thus very suitable for long-term wearable applications.Existing schemes are limited by flexibility,biosafety,and manufacturing costs,which create large barriers for wider applications.Here,we present a novel flexible MNA electrode that can simultaneously achieve flexibility of the substrate to fit a curved body surface,robustness of microneedles to penetrate the skin without fracture,and a simplified process to allow mass production.The compatibility with wearable wireless systems and the short preparation time of the electrodes significantly improves the comfort and convenience of electrophysiological recording.The normalized electrode–skin contact impedance reaches 0.98 kΩcm^(2)at 1 kHz and 1.50 kΩcm^(2)at 10 Hz,a record low value compared to previous reports and approximately 1/250 of the standard electrodes.The morphology,biosafety,and electrical/mechanical properties are fully characterized,and wearable recordings with a high signal-to-noise ratio and low motion artifacts are realized.The first reported clinical study of microneedle electrodes for surface electrophysiological monitoring was conducted in tens of healthy and sleep-disordered subjects with 44 nights of recording(over 8 h per night),providing substantial evidence that the electrodes can be leveraged to substitute for clinical standard electrodes. | Junshi Li Yundong Ma Dong Huang Zhongyan Wang Zhitong Zhang Yingjie Ren Mengyue Hong Yufeng Chen Tingyu Li Xiaoyi Shi Lu Cao Jiayan Zhang Bingli Jiao Junhua Liu Hongqiang Sun Zhihong Li | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,8: | 1 |

| 19 | A beamforming design for weighted sidelobe power leakage minimization显示文摘In this paper, a beamforming scheme for minimizing the weighted sidelobe power leakage while maintaining the norm of the weight vector at unity is proposed. The proposed criterion is very flexible because weighting factors are added to the sidelobes in the object function, and the weighting factors can be adjusted according to any design purpose, e.g., to minimize the interference within a direction of arrival(Do A) range. To acquire the minimum sidelobe power leakage, we first express the sidelobe power through the sidelobe coefficient matrix. Afterwards, the minimization problem can be treated as the 2-norm minimization of the sidelobe coefficient matrix.
