1A gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the duodenum masquerading as a pancreatic head tumor显示文摘Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) represents the most common kind of mesenchymal tumor that arises from the alimentary tract. GIST is currently defined as a gastrointestinal tract mesenchymal tumor showing CD117 (c-kit protein) positivity at immunohistochemistry. Throughout the whole length of the gastrointestinal tract, GIST arises most commonly from the stomach followed by the small intestine, the colorectum, and the esophagus. Only 3%-5% of GISTs occur in the duodenum, and especially, if GIST arises from the C loop of the duodenum, it can be difficult to differentiate from the pancreas head mass because of its anatomical proximity. 6Recent TCP(Tidal Current Power) projects in Korea显示文摘Having strong current on the west coast with up to 10 m tidal range in Korea,there are many suitable and applicable locations for TCP(Tidal Current Power) application in Korea.Not only the west coast,but also the south west regions having narrow channels between islands creating fast ocean stream are suitable for TCP.The first TCP application in Korea is 1 MW helical VAT(Vertical Axis Turbine) device installed in Wooldolmog area in 2008.The first HAT(Horizontal Axis Turbine) TCP device of 25 KW was developed and installed in cooling water weir of Samchonpo power plant in 2008.Furthermore,a 100 kW prototype HAT TCP device is being planned to be installed in Daebang strait in 2009.Another big project would be Inchon TCP farm of 200 MW on the west coast in Korea.The consortium of 5 members was formed in April,2009.This site will be the largest TCP site in the world.The paper describes recent TCP projects in Korea with background and environmental conditions of the projects.Chul Hee JO Kang Hee LEE Yu Ho RHO 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,1:1
7Review on Tidal Energy Technologies and Research Subjects显示文摘Tidal current power is one of the promising and reliable renewable energies with the advantage of continuous and predictable resource. It can make stable electricity regardless of weather conditions or seasons all year around. The required technologies for tidal current power in the ocean have been developed for years and now recognized that it could be commercialized after intensive field tests and successful demonstrations. There are several tidal farm development projects in the world, such as the MeyGen project in UK with its commercialization at hand. However, various research subjects in the tidal current energy field are seeking improvements and industrialization of tidal current power in terms of economy and technical reliability. This paper introduces the resource assessment procedure of tidal energy that has been applied in Korea coastal regions. The key research subjects for tidal current power together with the interaction effect of multi-arrangement is described.
