| 1 | RGB-D salient object detection:A survey显示文摘Salient object detection,which simulates human visual perception in locating the most significant object(s)in a scene,has been widely applied to various computer vision tasks.Now,the advent of depth sensors means that depth maps can easily be captured;this additional spatial information can boost the performance of salient object detection.Although various RGB-D based salient object detection models with promising performance have been proposed over the past several years,an in-depth understanding of these models and the challenges in this field remains lacking.In this paper,we provide a comprehensive survey of RGBD based salient object detection models from various perspectives,and review related benchmark datasets in detail.Further,as light fields can also provide depth maps,we review salient object detection models and popular benchmark datasets from this domain too.Moreover,to investigate the ability of existing models to detect salient objects,we have carried out a comprehensive attribute-based evaluation of several representative RGB-D based salient object detection models.Finally,we discuss several challenges and open directions of RGB-D based salient object detection for future research.All collected models,benchmark datasets,datasets constructed for attribute-based evaluation,and related code are publicly available at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asp9cnnnu906up69q6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/taozh2017/RGBD-SODsurvey. | Tao Zhou Deng-Ping Fan Ming-Ming Cheng Jianbing Shen Ling Shao | 2021 | Computational Visual Media2021,7,1: | 11 |
| 2 | Effect of wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) on fine particle(PM_(2.5)) emission from coal-fired boilers显示文摘In this study, the characteristics of fine particles before and after wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) in three coal-fired heating boilers in northern China were investigated by using a dilution-based emission sampling experimental system. The influences of the WFGD process on the mass and number concentrations as well as the chemical composition of fine particles were analyzed. The removal efficiency of desulfurization processes on particulate matter mass was 30.06%–56.25% for the three study units. The WFGD had a great influence on the size distributions of particle mass concentration and number concentration. A significant increase in the number and mass concentration of particles in the size range of 0.094–0.946 μm was observed. The watersoluble ion content accounted for a very large proportion of PM_(2.5) mass, and its proportion in PM_(2.5) increased from 28.39%–41.08% to 48.96%–61.21% after the WFGD process for the three units. | 3 | A reactive oxygen species burst causes haploid induction in maize显示文摘Haploid induction (HI) is an important tool in crop breeding. Phospholipase A1 (ZmPLA1)/NOT LIKE DAD (NLD)/MATRILINEAL (MTL) is a key gene controlling HI in maize;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, to dissect why loss of ZmPLA1 function could mediate HI we performed a comprehensive multiple omics analysis of zmpla1 mutant anthers by integrating transcriptome, metabolome, quantitative proteome, and protein modification data. Functional classes of significantly enriched or differentially abundant molecular entities were found to be associated with the oxidative stress response, suggesting that a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst plays a critical role in HI. In support of this, we further discovered that a simple chemical treatment of pollen with ROS reagents could lead to HI. Moreover, we identified ZmPOD65, which encodes a sperm-specific peroxidase, as a new gene controlling HI. | 4 | Cutting Performance and Mechanism of RE Carbide Tools显示文摘The research of rare earth elements (RE), added into cemented carbide tools, is one of the recent developments of new types of tool materials in China. Systematic experiments about RE carbides YG8R (K30), YT14R (P20) and YW1R (M10) were made to study on the cutting performance in comparison with non-RE carbides YG8, YT14 and YW1. The cntting experiments were as follows: tool life, cutting force, tool-chip friction coefficient and interrupted machining. The action of RE on the carbide materials and the cutting mechanism of the RE carbide tools in the cutting process were verified with the aid of SEM and energy spectrum analysis. | 15 | Initiation Mechanism of Loess Mudflows by Flume Experiments显示文摘The structure of loess is loose,and the shear strength of loess drops sharply after contact with water.Therefore,loess mudflows have become a common geological disaster on the Chinese Loess Plateau.In order to study the initiation mode and mechanism of loess mudflows,in this study,seven sets of flume experiments were designed by controlling the slope angle and rainfall intensity.The results show that(1)when the slope angle is between 10°and 20°,there are two initiation mechanisms of loess mudflows:mudflow(large scale)and retrogressive toe sliding,and mudflow(small-scale)and retrogressive toe sliding.(2)The main method by which water infiltrates into the soil accumulation is mainly vertical infiltration,which is not affected by the slope angle and the seepage direction of the accumulation soil.(3)The liquefaction of loess is the root cause of loess mudflows.Water infiltrates into the area with an uneven density and a large amount of water accumulates in this area.Thus,the water content of the loess increases and the pore water pressure increases quickly and cannot dissipate in time,so the loess liquefies and the liquefacted area continues to spread and become larger.Thus,loess mudflows(large scale)occur.The increase in pore water pressure was captured in the seven sets of experiments.However,the order of the rising positions in the accumulation were different.This requires us to carry out tracking of the particle displacement inside the soil and the spatial changes in the internal structure of the soil in future research. | Penghui Ma Jianbing Peng Jianqi Zhuang Xinghua Zhu Cong Liu Yuxiang Cheng Zuopeng Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,5: | 1 |
