1A draft sequence of the rice (Oryza sativa ssp. indica) genome显示文摘The sequence of the rice genome holds fundamental information for its biology, including physiology, genetics, development, and evolution, as well as information on many beneficial phenotypes of economic significance. Using a 'whole genome shotgun' approach, we have pro-duced a draft rice genome sequence of Oryza sativa ssp. in-dica, the major crop rice subspecies in China and many other regions of Asia. The draft genome sequence is constructed from over 4.3 million successful sequencing traces with an accumulative total length of 2214.9 Mb. The initial assembly of the non-redundant sequences reached 409.76 Mb in length, based on 3.30 million successful sequencing traces with a total length of 1797.4 Mb from an indica variant cultivar 93-11, giving an estimated coverage of 95.29% of the rice genome with an average base accuracy of higher than 99%. 3Synthesis and Characterizations of Nanocrystalline WC-Co Composite Powders by a Unique Ball Milling Process显示文摘In order to explore the high efficiency of fabricating nanocrystalline WC-Co composite powders, this paper presented a unique high energy ball milling process with variable rotation rate and repeatious circulation, by which nanocrystalline WC-10Co0.8VC-0.2Cr3C2 (wt pct) composite powders with mean grain size of 25 nm were prepared in 32 min, and the quantity of the powders for a batch was as much as 800 grams. The as-prepared powders were analyzed and characterized by chemical analysis,X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The results show that high energy ball milling with variable rotation rates and repeatious circulation could be used to produce nanocrystalline WC-Co powder composites with high efficiency. The compositions of the powders meet its specifications with low impurity content. The mean grain size decreases, lattice distortion and system energy increase with increasing the milling time. The morphology of nanocrystalline WC-Co particles displays dominantly sphere shape and their particle sizes are all lower than 80nm. 4Total body irradiation of donors can alter the course of tolerance and induce acute rejection in a spontaneous tolerance rat liver transplantation model显示文摘Liver transplantation is an established therapy for end-stage liver diseases. Graft rejection occurs unless the recipient receives immunosuppression after transplantation. This study aimed to explore the mechanism of acute rejection of liver allografts in rats pre-treated with total body irradiation to eliminate passenger lymphocytes and to define the role of CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells in the induction of immunotolerance in the recipient. Male Lewis rats were used as donors and male DA rats were recipients. Rats were randomly assigned to the following four groups: control group, homogeneity liver transplantation group, idio-immunotolerance group and acute rejection group. After transplantation, the survival time of each group, serum alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin levels, number of Foxp3 + CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells, expression of glucocorticoid-induced tumor necrosis factor receptor on T cell subgroups, histopathology of the hepatic graft and spleen cytotoxic T lymphocyte lytic activity were measured. In the acute rejection group, where donors were preconditioned with total body irradiation before liver transplantation, all recipients died between day 17 and day 21. On day 14, serum alanine aminotransferase increased signifi- cantly to (459.2±76.9) U L -1 , total bilirubin increased to (124.1±33.7) μmol L -1 (P<0.05) and the ratio of Foxp3 + CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells decreased significantly to 1.50%±0.50% (P<0.05) compared with the other groups. Analysis of the T cell subpopulations in the acute rejection group varied from the other groups. Histological analysis showed typical changes of acute rejection in the acute rejection group only. 5The relationship between thermo-mechanical history,microstructure and mechanical properties in additively manufactured CoCrFeMnNi high entropy alloy显示文摘Here,a single-track CoCrFeMnNi high entropy alloy(HEA)was successfully fabricated by laser melting deposition(LMD).Combining the experimental observations and numerical simulation,the microstructure and mechanical properties of the as-deposited parts were systematically studied from the perspective of thermo-mechanical history experienced during the LMD process.The strengthening mechanisms of the LMDed CoCrFeMnNi HEA parts were clarified.The frictional stress strengthening,grain boundary strengthening and dislocation strengthening contributed the whole yield strength of the parts.Dislocation strengthening dominated the strengthening mechanism.It was expected that the establishment of the relationship between thermo-mechanical history,microstructure and mechanical properties of the LMDed CoCrFeMnNi HEA could shed more insights into achieving HEA parts with the desired microstructure and high performance.Hongge Li Yongjiang Huang Jianfei Sun Yunzhuo Lu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,18:3
6Formation,thermal stability and mechanical properties of Ti_(42.5)Zr_(7.5)Cu_(40)Ni_5Sn_5 bulk metallic glass显示文摘Ti42.5Zr7.5Cu40Ni5Sn5 bulk metallic glass with a critical diameter of 4 mm was fabri-cated by the conventional copper mould casting method. The supercooled liquid region ΔTx,reduced glass transition temperature Trg,γ parameter,and δparameter of the alloy were measured to be 63.9 K,0.561,0.393,and 1.400,respectively,im-plying that the alloy has an excellent glass-forming ability. The bulk metallic glass exhibits high compressive fracture strength of 2162 MPa with distinct plastic strain of 0.9%. 7Effects of Epstein-Barr virus infection on the development of multiple myeloma after liver transplantation显示文摘Reduced cellular immune function in patients after liver transplantation easily results in many types of viral infections,such as Epstein-Barr virus.Epstein-Barr virus is a γ-herpesvirus and is related to many malignant diseases,especially epithelial and lymph tumors.The abnormal interaction of cluster of differentiation 40 with cluster of differentiation 40 ligand and expression of cluster of differentiation 40 ligand are considered closely related to the development of myeloma cells.This study explored the influence and mechanism of Epstein-Barr virus infection on the phenotype and biological behavior of myeloma cells after liver transplantation.Flow cytometry was used to detect coexpression of cluster of differentiation 40 and cluster of differentiation 40 ligand in 10 samples of freshly isolated multiple myeloma cells.Cluster of differentiation 40 and cluster of differentiation 40 ligand were coexpressed in sample Nos.5,8,9,and 10,particularly in sample No.5.Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of the Epstein-Barr virus antigens latent membrane protein 1 and Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen 2 in the multiple myeloma cell line RPMI 8226 infected with Epstein-Barr virus.The antigen expression indicated that Epstein-Barr virus can infect multiple myeloma virus cells in vitro.Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction revealed upregulated expression of cluster of differentiation 40 ligand on the infected RPMI 8226 cells,which may be involved in the anti-apoptosis activity of the infected cells.Confocal microscopy showed that pairs of molecules of cluster of differentiation 40,cluster of differentiation 40 ligand,and latent membrane protein 1 were colocalized on the surface of the infected cells.CXC chemokine receptor 4 was upregulated on the RPMI 8226 cells after Epstein-Barr virus infection.The migratory ability of the infected cells improved in the presence of the chemokine stromal cell-derived factor-1α.Anti-apoptosis and migration are known important biological characteristics of malignant cells.Our results indicate the involvement of Epstein-Barr virus in the origin and development of multiple myeloma.The risk of multiple myeloma increases when Epstein-Barr virus infects B cells in the germinal center,which may result in an anti-apoptosis effect of B cells and an improved ability to migrate from the germinal center to peripheral blood.ZHANG YeWei ZHAO HeWei HE Xia ZHENG SuWen WANG TaiHong YAN DongLiang SUN JingFeng LU Xiang WEN JianFei LAU Wan Yee 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,8:2
8Ultrathin FeS nanosheets with high chemodynamic activity for sensitive colorimetric detection of H_(2)O_(2) and glutathione显示文摘Iron chalcogenides have attracted great interest as potential substitutes of nature enzymes in the colorimetric biological sensing due to their unique chemodynamic characteristics.Herein,we report the preparation of ultrathin Fe S nanosheets(NSs)by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method and the prepared Fe S NSs exhibit strong Fenton-reaction activity to catalyze hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))for generation of hydroxyl radical(^(·)OH).Based on the chromogenic reaction of resultant^(·)OH with 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB),we develop colorimetric biosensors for highly sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and glutathione(GSH).The fabricated biosensors show wide linear ranges for the detection of H_(2)O_(2)(5–150μmol/L)and GSH(5–50μmol/L).Their detection limits for H_(2)O_(2)and GSH reach as low as0.19μmol/L and 0.14μmol/L,respectively.The experimental results of sensing intracellular H_(2)O_(2)and GSH demonstrate that this colorimetric method can realize the accurate detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH in normal cells(L02 and 3T3)and cancer cells(MCF-7 and He La).Our results have demonstrated that the synthesized Fe S NSs is a promising material to construct colorimetric biosensors for the sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH,holding great promising for medical diagnosis in cancer therapy.Yefan Duan Qi Li Panpan He Yan Li Jingrun Song Jing Wang Junjie Liu Jiang Zhou Fei Chen Zhusheng Huang Jianfei Sun Ying Zhang Zhimin Luo 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:2

11Tracing enterococci persistence along a pork production chain from feed to food in China显示文摘The prevalence and transmission of vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus(VRE)in enterococci being as probiotics has been neglected in the scientific literature.The application of enterococci in feed,food and health products may cause VRE transmission through the food chain.This study evaluated phenotypic resistance of Enterococcus species to 20 antibiotics along a pork production chain from feed to food.It also assessed the genetic diversity of Enterococcus faecium isolates.A total of 510 samples(feed,n=70;swine manure,n=400;swine carcasses,n=20,and retail pork,n=20)were collected in Beijing,China.A total of 328 enterococci isolates with 275 E.faecium and 53 Enterococcus faecalis were identified using 16 S rRNA.Antimicrobial susceptibility to all enterococci isolates was conducted using the KeB method for 20 antibiotics from 9 categories.Multilocus sequence typing(MLST)was conducted on the E.faecium isolates to survey the dissemination of enterococci in the pig industry.The results showed that only 26 enterococci isolates were sensitive to the 20 antibiotics,while half of the isolates(164/328)had acquired multi-drug resistance.The resistant rate to furazolidone was 68.60%,followed by 42.99%to tetracycline.One vancomycin-resistant E.faecium isolates were isolated from feed origin and 2 from manure origin,with minimum inhibitory concentrations to vancomycin of 1,024,64,and 64 mg/mL,respectively.The MLST outcomes showed that the 275 E.faecium isolates belonged to 11 sequence types(ST)including ST40,ST60,ST94,ST160,ST178,ST296,ST361,ST695,ST726,ST812 and ST1014.The ST of the feedsourced VRE was ST1014,while the 2 manure-sourced VRE was ST69.ST1014 evolved from ST78,which was the dominant clonal complex in most cities of China,leading to the spreading of VRE.These findings revealed the potential safety hazards of commercial probiotic enterococci in China and showed that there is a risk of the VRE horizontally transferring from feed to food.Jianfei Zhao Rui Liu Yanpeng Sun Xiaojun Yang Junhu Yao 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,2:1
12Investigation of Different Coke Samples Adhering to Cyclone Walls of a Commercial RFCC Reactor显示文摘The microstructure and properties of the coke samples collected from 4 different wall regions of the cyclone in the reactor of a residue fluid catalytic cracking unit(RFCCU) were analyzed by using the scanning-electron microscope(SEM), and the possible coke formation processes were investigated as well. The results showed that some of the heavy nonvolatile oil droplets entrained in the flowing oil and gas mixture could possibly deposit or collide on the walls by gravity settling or turbulence diffusion, and then were gradually carbonized into solid coke by condensing and polymerization along with dehydrogenation. Meanwhile some of fine catalyst particles also built up and integrated into the solid coke. The coke can be classified into two types, namely, the hard coke and the soft coke, according to its property, composition and microstructure. The soft coke is formed in the oil and gas mixture's stagnant region where the oil droplets and catalyst particles are freely settled on the wall. The soft coke appears to be loose and contains lots of large catalyst particles. However, the hard coke is formed in the oil and gas mixture's flowing region where the oil droplets and catalyst particles diffuse towards the wall. This kind of coke is nonporous and very hard, which contains a few fine catalyst particles. 18Numerical Study of Trapped Solid Particles Displacement From the Elbow of an Inclined Oil Pipeline显示文摘The solid particle impurities generated by pipe wall corrosion might deposit at the elbow of hilly pipelines during the production shutdown of oil pipelines.These solid particle impurities will seriously affect the safety of the pipeline operation and the quality of the petroleum products.Thus,it is necessary to study the methods of removing these trapped particles from pipelines.At present,the most common way to remove these solid particle impurities is pigging oil pipelines periodically by utilizing the mechanical pigging method,while the frequent pigging operation will increase the cost and risk of pipeline operation.It is very convenient and economical to remove the accumulated particles out from the pipeline by oil stream,which can be named Hydraulic Pigging Method(HPM).However,the behavior mechanism of particle in flowing oil is still unclear.This motivates the present research on the particles flushed out by the flowing oil.A numerical model governing the trapped particles displacement from the elbow of an inclined oil pipeline is established in the Euler-Lagrangian framework.The simulation is achieved via CFD coupling with DEM.The CFD method is employed to solving the continuous phase flow,while the discrete particle phase is tracked by the DEM.The numerical model is first validated by comparison with results taken from the published literature.From the simulation results,it is observed that the oil stream,carrier phase,can only flush out the solid particles in a certain diameter range under the given operation conditions,and the particles whose diameter beyond that diameter range will cannot be removed out from the pipeline.The influence of the pipe inclined angle,the oil bulk velocity and the particle diameter on the particle migration characteristics is examined in detail.Furthermore,in order to enhance the efficiency of HPM,an Enhanced Hydraulic Pigging Method based on Multi-Physical Field Collaboration(EHPM-MPFC)is also proposed in the present work.The EHPM-MPFC is validated for having high pigging efficiency via the comparison of the migration characteristics of particles during the EHPM-MPFC and HPM process.The present results can provide the guidance to the HPM operation of products pipelines.Dingqian Ding Yongtu Liang Yansong Li Jianfei Sun Dong Han Jing Liu 2019Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2019,,10:1
19Modified Layer-Removal Method for Measurement of Residual Stress in Pre-stretched Aluminium Alloy Plate显示文摘Residual stress is one of the factors affecting the machining deformation of monolithic structure parts in the aviation industry. Thus,the studies on machining deformation rules induced by residual stresses largely depend on correctly and efficiently measuring the residual stresses of workpieces. A modified layer-removal method is proposed to measure residual stress by analysing the characteristics of a traditional layer-removal method. The coefficients of strain release are then deduced according to the simulation results using the finite element method( FEM). Moreover,the residual stress in a 7075T651 aluminium alloy plate is measured using the proposed method,and the results are then analyzed and compared with the data obtained by the traditional methods. 20Hot Deformation Characteristics for a Nickel-base Superalloy GH742y显示文摘The hot deformation characteristics of as-cast nickel-base superalloy GH742y after hot isostatic pressing (HIP)(hereafter referred to as-cast alloy) have been investigated by hot compression tests in the temperature range of 1050 to 1140℃, strain rate range of 0.01 s-1 to 10 s-1 and strain range of 35% to 50% by means of Gleeble-3500 thermal mechanical simulator. The results show that the as-cast alloy exhibits the poor deformability,and shows wedge-shaped cracking beyond the strain of 35%. At strain rates less than 1.0 s-1, the stress-strain curves exhibit nearly steady-state behavior, while at strain rate of 10 s-1, a yield drop and serrated yielding occur. The activation energy values developed on the basis of the experimental data are divided into three domains. The first domain appears at lower strain rate (≤1.0 s-1) and lower temperature (≤1080℃), with the lowest mean value of activation energy about 261.4 kJ/mol. The second domain appears at the same strain rate as the first domain, but higher temperature (>1080℃), with the intermediate mean value of activation energy about 328.8 kJ/mol. The third domain appears at higher strain rate (10 s-1) and temperature range of 1050 to 1140℃, with the largest mean value of activation energy about 605.05 kJ/mol. Three different constitutive equations are established in corresponding to domains. Microstructural observations in the third domain reveal non-uniform dynamic recrystallization (DRX) of homogeneous γ phase, which leads to the poor deformability and the highest Q value. In contrast, microstructures in the first domain show fully DRX of homogeneous γ phase, leading to the better deformability and the lowest Q value. It is noted that the grain size increases with the increment of strain rate or temperature.
