1Zircon U-Pb geochronology,Hf isotopic composition and geological implications of the rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry in the Xiangshan uranium ore field,Jiangxi Province,China显示文摘The Xiangshan uranium ore field is the largest volcanic rock hosted uranium deposit in China.The host rock is a volcanic intrusive complex,including rhyodacite,porphyroclastic lava and late stage sub-volcanic rocks.In this study,zircons from an early stage rhyodacite and a late stage rhyodacite porphyry were dated by SHRIMP and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb methods,and their Hf isotopic compositions were measured by LA-MC-ICP-MS.206Pb/238U ages of 135.1±1.7 and 134.8±1.1 Ma were obtained for the rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry,respectively.These accurate ages indicate that the Xiangshan volcanic-intrusive complex formed in the Early Cretaceous rather than in the Late Jurassic,as concluded in some previous studies.By the Early Cretaceous,the tectonic setting of the area has evolved into a back-arc extensional setting,possibly related to subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate.The close ages of the(early) eruptive rhyodacite and the(late) hypabyssal rhyodacitic porphyry shows that the Xiangshan volcanism was intensive and concentrated in a short time.Zircons from the rhyodacite show negative εHf(t) values of-5.7 to-8.5,with Hf depleted mantle model ages between 1550 and 1720 Ma,whereas zircons from the rhyodacitic porphyry yield εHf(t) values of-6.9 to-10.1 and Hf model ages between 1621 and 1823 Ma.These zircon Hf model ages are similar to the whole rock Nd model ages(1486 to 1911 Ma).Combined with other geochemical characteristics,the Xiangshan rhyodacite and rhyodacitic porphyry may have been derived from partial melting of the Paleo-Mesoproterozoic metamorphic rocks from the Xiangshan basement,without any significant addition of mantle-derived magma.Contribution of basement of this age is also supported by finding a Paleoproterozoic xenocrystic zircon core in the rhyodacite sample.YANG ShuiYuan JIANG ShaoYong JIANG YaoHui ZHAO KuiDong FAN HongHai 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,10:40
2Dynamic characteristics of an intestine capsule robot with variable diameter显示文摘This paper proposes an intestine capsule robot with variable diameter. It is driven by external rotating magnetic field and has the function of automatic radial clearance compensation. An external magnetic field generating device and a capsule robot with variable diameter are developed. Radial dynamic balance equation and kinematics equation of the capsule robot traveling inside flexible elasto-wall environment are established, and dynamic characteristics of the capsule robot inside flexible elasto-wall pipe and rigid wall pipe environments are analyzed and compared. Simulations and experiment results show that its dynamic characteristics in both pipes are almost the same. Under the action of radial clearance compensation, fluid dynamic pressure around outer surface of the capsule robot and its propulsion, as well as its adaptability to diameter change range, are significantly improved. Its propulsion and moving speed are controlled by adjusting rotating angular speed of the rotating magnetic field. 3Hydrochemical characteristics and water quality evaluation of shallow groundwater in Suxian mining area,Huaibei coalfield,China显示文摘The aim of this study is to evaluate the hydrogeochemical characteristics and water environmental quality of shallow groundwater in the Suxian mining area of Huaibei coalfield,China.The natural formation process of shallow groundwater in Suxian is explored using Piper trilinear charts and Gibbs diagrams,and by examining the ratios between the major ions.United States Salinity Laboratory(USSL)charts,Wilcox diagrams,and the water quality index(WQI)are further employed to quantify the differences in water quality.The results reveal that the main hydrochemical facies of groundwater are HC03-Ca,and that silicate dissolution is the main factor controlling the ion content in shallow groundwater.The USSL charts and Wilcox diagrams show that most of the water samples would be acceptable for use in irrigation systems.The WQI results for each water sample are compared and analyzed,and the quality of groundwater samples around collapse ponds is found to be relatively poor.Hao Yu Herong Gui Honghai Zhao Meichen Wang Jun Li Hongxia Fang Yaqi Jiang Yaru Zhang 2020International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2020,7,4:3
4Characteristics of spatial magnetic torque of an intestine capsule micro robot with a variable diameter显示文摘A drive and control method is put forward for a variable diameter capsule micro robot to screw forward in intestine using magnetic coupling between an inner actuator inside the robot and the rotational magnetic field generated by a rotating outer actuator. The structures of the outer and inner actuators are magnet cylinders with multiple magnetic poles in tegular shape alternating with dissimilar radial magnetization. An universal mathematical model of magnetic torque at eccentric state is established based on the equivalent magnetic charge method, and the characteristics of magnetic torque with respect to structural parameters of actuators are theoretically studied. Experiments show that the driving method features advantages such as powerful magnetic torque, high safety, reliability, etc. The driving ability of the variable diameter capsule micro robot is greatly improved by its automatic radial clearance compensation. 5OTUD5 promotes innate antiviral and antitumor immunity through deubiquitinating and stabilizing STING显示文摘Stimulator of interferon genes(STING)is an adaptor protein that is critical for effective innate antiviral and antitumor immunity.The activity of STING is heavily regulated by protein ubiquitination,which is fine-tuned by both E3 ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitinases.Here,we report that the deubiquitinase OTUD5 interacts with STING,cleaves its K48-linked polyubiquitin chains,and promotes its stability.Consistently,knockout of OTUD5 resulted in faster turnover of STING and subsequently impaired type I IFN signaling following cytosolic DNA stimulation.More importantly,Lyz2-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice and CD11-Cre Otud5^(fl/Y) mice showed more susceptibility to herpes simplex virus type 1(HSV-1)infection and faster development of melanomas than their corresponding control littermates,indicating that OTUD5 is indispensable for STING-mediated antiviral and antitumor immunity.Our data suggest that OTUD5 is a novel checkpoint in the cGAS-STING cytosolic DNA sensing pathway.Yunyun Guo Fei Jiang Lingli Kong Haifeng Wu Honghai Zhang Xiaorong Chen Jian Zhao Baoshan Cai Yanqi Li Chunhong Ma Fan Yi Lei Zhang Bingyu Liu Yi Zheng Lingqiang Zhang Chengjiang Gao 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8:2

12Vertical variations of dissolved carbohydrates in the North Yap Trench显示文摘The concentrations of dissolved monosaccharides(MCHO),polysaccharides(PCHO),and total carbohydrates(TCHO)in the seawater samples collected from the north of the Yap Trench in the western Pacific Ocean were measured by 2,4,6-tripyridine-s-triazine(TPTZ)spectrophotometry method.The results show that the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO ranged from 4.6 to 22.1μmol C/L,3.5 to 27.3μmol C/L,and 13.8 to 36.3μmol C/L,respectively.In different sampling stations,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO with water depth showed complex variation patterns.In the study area,the maximum concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO occurred in the euphotic layer and the minimum concentrations occurred in mesopelagic seawater layer.Generally,the concentrations of MCHO,PCHO,and TCHO decreased with water depth from the euphotic layer to the hadal zone.The average value of PCHO/TCHO was higher than the average value of MCHO/TCHO,indicating that PCHO was the main component of TCHO in north of the Yap Trench.GUO Chaonan SUN Chengjun YANG Guipeng ZHANG Honghai CHEN Yan YIN Xiaofei JIANG Fenghua HUANG Yuhuan NIU Jiaohong DING Haibing 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,3:1

16Using Goethite as a Heterogeneous Fenton Catalyst for The Removal of Tetracycline Hydrochloride: Effects of Its Adsorptive and Reductive Activities显示文摘The removal of the antibiotic compound tetracycline hydrochloride (TC) was investigated by using goethite/H2O2 as a heterogeneous Fenton reagent. Five principle operational parameters, especially solution pH value, were taken into account to investigate how the heterogeneous Fenton process factors mediated the TC removal. This process was effective but seriously impacted by the pH value and temperature, as well as the dosages of α-FeOOH, TC and H2O2. Very interestingly, the acidic and alkaline aqueous medium conditions were both very favorable due to the occurrence of transformation of Fe(III) to Fe(II) on goethite surfaces reduced by TC at pH 3.0~4.0 even though with a low adsorption capacity of TC because its maximum adsorption of negatively charged form occurred at pH around 8.0[1], thereby greatly promoting the TC Fenton oxidative elimination. However, a rapid initial TC decay was observed at the first 5 min, followed by a much slower retardation stage, which was likely because the reductive transformation of Fe(III) to Fe(II) by TC in the solution was inhibited as the Fenton reaction proceeded. Moreover, the hydroxyl radical scavenger t-butanol addition can decrease the removal rate of TC in the goethite/H2O2 system to a certain extent. This further indicated that the main reactive species in this process were hydroxyl radicals[2]. All the goethite-catalysed heterogeneous Fenton reactions are responsible for the TC removal following the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model, were well fitted to pseudo-first order kinetics (R2>0.99), and their apparent activation energy (E) for this Fenton-like reaction was 31.86 kJ mol 1, a low value that is highly consistent with the ease of TC decay greatly enhanced by the temperature rise, indicated that the interfacial controlling interactions such as a proton induced solubilization and a reductive dissolution of goethite can clearly improve its Fenton catalytic activity[3], and these dissolution processes may not be effective in some cases, while the TC adsorption process may always play an important role to control the TC removal rate during the Fenton reaction.WU Honghai JIANG Fenfen GUAN Yufeng CHEN Xiaoling 2013矿物学报2013,33,S1:0
17Intracranial localization of arachnoid granulations in rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: This paper describes histomorphologic studies on arachnoid granulations in rats, which have not been investigated in China to our knowledge. OBJECTIVE: To observe the distribution of intracranial arachnoid granulations in rats. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The observational experiment was performed in the Academy of Life Sciences of Shandong Taishan Medical College from May to August 2004. MATERIALS: Thirty healthy adult Wistar rats (3-4 months old) of SPF grade, equal numbers of each sex, were selected for this study. Methylene blue parenteral solution was provided by Jiangsu Jichuan Pharmaceutical Company (China), and an optical microscope (Type: CH20; Olympus Co. Ltd., Japan) was used for observation of the histomorphology of the arachnoid granulations. METHOD: Injection of methylene blue parenteral solution into the cerebellomedullary cistern of rats. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE: The blue stained parts of the lateral sinus were sectioned, stained by hematoxylin and eosin, and then observed under the microscope. RESULTS: The cavitas subarachnoidealis had extensive blue staining after methylene blue injection, while the arachnoid and dura were without dye accumulation. The blue dye indicated the location of the arachnoid granulations. The location of these granulations was fixed, mainly in the lateral sinus at both sides of confluence within 4 mm of the internal jugular vein. 18Optimizing coil configurations for AC loss reduction in REBCO HTS fast-ramping magnets at cryogenic temperatures显示文摘AC loss is one of the critical issues for designing REBCO fast‐ramping magnets operating at cryogenic temperatures.There are many ways to reduce AC loss for coil windings.However,it is not clear which method is the most effective way to minimize AC loss in the coil windings for a given Ampere‐turns.In this work,we numerically studied coil configurations of several small superconducting magnets constructed from 12 mm SuperPower REBCO coated conductors,for fast‐ramping application with the same Ampere‐turns to identify the lowest AC loss among them.The HTS magnets have a total turn number of 50 and inner diameter of 30 cm,carrying AC current operating in the temperature range of 20–40 K at 25 Hz.We incorporated several existing loss reduction strategies including spacing between the turns for single pancake coils,grading Ic values for the solenoid configuration,and applying flux diverters to shape the magnetic field around the coil windings.The simulation was implemented using a homogenized H‐formulation.Across all studied loss reduction methods,the use of flux diverters has the largest impact in AC loss reduction.The AC loss values in the solenoid winding comprising a stack of five single pancake coils with 0.1 mm turn‐to‐turn gap with the flux diverters agree well with those in the single pancake coil for 2 mm turn‐to‐turn gap with the flux diverters.Solenoid type coil configurations with flux diverters generate much smaller AC loss than the single pancake type with flux diverters when they generate the same center magnetic field.Zhenan Jiang Honghai Song Wenjuan Song Rodney A.Badcock 2022Superconductivity2022,,3:0
