| 1 | Vision,application scenarios,and key technology trends for 6G mobile communications显示文摘With the global commercialization of the fifth-generation(5G)network,many countries,including China,USA,European countries,Japan,and Korea,have started exploring 6G mobile communication network,following the tradition of“planning the next while commercializing one generation”.Currently,studies on 6G networks are at the infancy stage.Research on the vision and requirements for 6G is still ongoing,and the industry is yet to clarify the key enabling technologies for 6G.However,6G will certainly build on the success of 5G.Therefore,developing high-quality 5G networks and seamlessly integrating 5G with verticals are the priorities before 2030,when 6G is projected to be commercialized.Also,global 5G standards will keep evolving to better support vertical applications.As a milestone,the Third-Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)published Release 16 in July 2020,which continuously enhanced the capabilities of mobile broadband service based on Release 15 and realized the support for low-delay and high-reliability applications,such as Internet of Vehicles and industrial Internet.Currently,3GPP is working on Releases 17 and 18,focusing on meeting the demands of medium-and high-data-rate machine communication with low-cost and high-precision positioning,which will be published in June 2022.Thus,6G networks will further expand the application fields and scope of the Internet of Things to accommodate those services and applications that are beyond the capabilities of 5G networks.Herein,we present our vision,application scenarios,and key technological trends for 6G networks.Furthermore,we propose several future research opportunities in 6G networks with regard to industrialization and standardization. | Zhiqin WANG Ying DU Kejun WEI Kaifeng HAN Xiaoyan XU Guiming WEI Wen TONG Peiying ZHU Jianglei MA Jun WANG Guangjian WANG Xueqiang YAN Jiying XIANG He HUANG Ruyue LI Xinhui WANG Yingmin WANG Shaohui SUN Shiqiang SUO Qiubin GAO Xin SU | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,5: | 17 |
| 2 | A New Function for Modelling Diameter Frequency Distribution in the Tropical Rain Forest of Xishuangbanna,Southwest of China显示文摘Permanent plots in the montane tropical rain forests in Xishuangbanna, southwest China, were established, and different empirical models, based on observation data of these plots in 1992, were built to model diameter frequency distributions. The focus of this study is on predicting accuracy of stem number in the larger diameter classes, which is much more important than that of the smaller trees, from the view of forest management, and must be adequately considered in the modelling and estimate. There exist 3 traditional ways of modelling the diameter frequency distribution: the negative exponential function model, limiting line function model, and Weibull distribution model. | 3 | A review of common-path off-axis digital holography:towards high stable optical instrument manufacturing显示文摘Digital holography possesses the advantages of wide-field,non-contact,precise,and dynamic measurements for the complex amplitude of object waves.Today,digital holography and its derivatives have been widely applied in interferometric measurements,three-dimensional imaging,and quantitative phase imaging,demonstrating significant potential in the material science,industry,and biomedical fields,among others.However,in conventional off-axis holographic experimental setups,the object and reference beams propagate in separated paths,resulting in low temporal stability and measurement sensitivity.By designing common-path configurations where the two interference beams share the same or similar paths,environmental disturbance to the two beams can be effectively compensated.Therefore,the temporal stability of the experimental setups for hologram recording can be significantly improved for time-lapsing measurements.In this review,we categorise the common-path models as lateral shearing,point diffraction,and other types based on the different approaches to generate the reference beam.Benefiting from compact features,common-path digital holography is extremely promising for the manufacture of highly stable optical measurement and imaging instruments in the future. | Jiwei Zhang Siqing Dai Chaojie Ma Teli Xi Jianglei Di Jianlin Zhao | 2021 | Light(Advanced Manufacturing)2021,2,3: | 4 |
| 4 | Filtered-OFDM——Enabling Flexible Waveformfor the 5G Cellular Networks显示文摘To deal with the expected diversification on traffic types, the fundamental waveform of the upcoming5 G standard must be sufficiently flexible. In the 4th generation wireless networks(e.g., cellular LTE and Wi- Fi802.11ac), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) has been widely adopted to combat frequency selectivity and thus improve the spectrum efficiency. Holding various advantages such as backward compatibility with LTE, ease of hardware implementation, time-localized low-latency transmission and straightforward combination with multi-antenna transmission, OFDM will remain as an important waveform candidate for 5G. However,OFDM alone appears to be insufficient in terms of the requirements faced by 5G waveform, such as high flexibility to accommodate different waveform numerologies for an efficient support of diversified traffic types and channel characteristics. | 5 | Heterogeneous Photocatalytic Mineralization of Chlorobenzene by Paratungstate-loaded Titania Catalysts in an Aqueous Medium显示文摘Paratungstate-loaded titania catalysts were prepared %via% the addition of a series of aqueous solutions of paratungstate(denoted as W_ 7) into an isopropanol solution of Ti[OCH(CH_ 3)_ 2]_ 4 by means of the sol-gel method. The catalysts were characterized by EDX, BET, FTIR, UV-Vis DRS, XRD and the results indicate that such paratungstate-loaded catalysts maintained their heptatungstate structure in the anatase titania matrix up to 400 ℃. The catalysts were tested for the heterogeneous photodegradation of chlorobenzene in aqueous media and showed a better catalytic activity than P-25 TiO_ 2 because paratungstate can prevent the recombination of the holes and electrons produced during irradiation.
