1Lithium–matrix composite anode protected by a solid electrolyte layer for stable lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium (Li) metal with an ultrahigh specific theoretical capacity and the lowest reduction potential is strongly considered as a promising anode for high-energy-density batteries. However, uncontrolled lithium dendrites and infinite volume change during repeated plating/stripping cycles hinder its practical applications immensely. Herein, a house-like Li anode (housed Li) was designed to circumvent the above issues. The house matrix was composed of carbon fiber matrix and affords a stable structure to relieve the volume change. An artificial solid electrolyte layer was formed on composite Li metal, just like the roof of a house, which facilitates uniform Li ions diffusion and serves as a physical barrier against electrolyte corrosion. With the combination of solid electrolyte layer and matrix in the composite Li metal anode, both dendrite growth and volume expansion are remarkably inhibited. The housed Li|LiFePO4 batteries exhibited over 95% capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1.0 C in coin cell and 85% capacity retention after 80 cycles at 0.5 C in pouch cell. 2Vision,application scenarios,and key technology trends for 6G mobile communications显示文摘With the global commercialization of the fifth-generation(5G)network,many countries,including China,USA,European countries,Japan,and Korea,have started exploring 6G mobile communication network,following the tradition of“planning the next while commercializing one generation”.Currently,studies on 6G networks are at the infancy stage.Research on the vision and requirements for 6G is still ongoing,and the industry is yet to clarify the key enabling technologies for 6G.However,6G will certainly build on the success of 5G.Therefore,developing high-quality 5G networks and seamlessly integrating 5G with verticals are the priorities before 2030,when 6G is projected to be commercialized.Also,global 5G standards will keep evolving to better support vertical applications.As a milestone,the Third-Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)published Release 16 in July 2020,which continuously enhanced the capabilities of mobile broadband service based on Release 15 and realized the support for low-delay and high-reliability applications,such as Internet of Vehicles and industrial Internet.Currently,3GPP is working on Releases 17 and 18,focusing on meeting the demands of medium-and high-data-rate machine communication with low-cost and high-precision positioning,which will be published in June 2022.Thus,6G networks will further expand the application fields and scope of the Internet of Things to accommodate those services and applications that are beyond the capabilities of 5G networks.Herein,we present our vision,application scenarios,and key technological trends for 6G networks.Furthermore,we propose several future research opportunities in 6G networks with regard to industrialization and standardization.Zhiqin WANG Ying DU Kejun WEI Kaifeng HAN Xiaoyan XU Guiming WEI Wen TONG Peiying ZHU Jianglei MA Jun WANG Guangjian WANG Xueqiang YAN Jiying XIANG He HUANG Ruyue LI Xinhui WANG Yingmin WANG Shaohui SUN Shiqiang SUO Qiubin GAO Xin SU 2022Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,5:17
3In vitro effect of iASPP on cell growth of oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘iASPP is an inhibitory member of the apoptosis-stimulating proteins of P53(ASPP) family. iASPP is over expressed in several malignant tumors and potentially affects cancer progression. However, the expression and potential role of iASPP in oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma(OTSCC) have not been addressed. In our study, we detected iASPP expression in OTSCC by immunohistochemistry. iASPP expression is up-regulated in OTSCC tissues. Moreover, in clinical pathology specimens, we found that increased iASPP expression correlates with poor differentiation and lymph node metastasis. Using multicellular tumor spheroids(MTS) and flow cytometry, we demonstrated that iASPP down-regulation arrests OTSCC cells at the G0/G1 phase, induces OTSCC cell apoptosis and inhibits OTSCC cell proliferation. 4Pitting corrosion behavior of cerium treated HSLA steel induced by sulfide inclusions in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution显示文摘Pitting corrosion behavior of Ce treated HSLA steels induced by sulfide inclusions in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution was investigated with potentiodynamic polarization and immersion corrosion test.The results show that Ce added steels exhibit better pitting corrosion resistance with lower corrosion current density and bigger pitting potential compared with steel without Ce,which is mainly attributed to optimized characteristics of spherical Ce-oxysulfide inclusions with less number density,smaller average size and lower pitting corrosion susceptibility.The spherical Ce_(2)O_(2) S inclusions precipitated on the surface of CeAlO_(3) inclusions in the Ce added steels induce pits with bigger opening mouth and shallow depth,reducing their tendency of extension to go deeper due to occlusion corrosion battery in the pitting holes.Furthermore,corrosion inhibitor Ce(OH)_(3) generated by Ce_(2)O_(2) S hydration can weaken electrochemical corrosion of the matrix micro-region around the pits.To avoid harmful bigger inclusions,Ce content in steels should be regulated within reasonable range,0.015 wt% Ce in present steels effectively modified inclusions to acquire the best pitting corrosion resistance of the steels.Wan Zheng Xueqiang Yan Shan Xiong Guowei Wang Guangqiang Li 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,3:3

7Risk factors of recurrent acute pancreatitis after conservative treatment in pediatric population: a single-center study显示文摘Background Although complete resolution and recovery occurs in most children with an initial attack of acute pancreatitis(AP),a subset of children may progress to recurrent AP(RAP).RAP has serious effects to the individual and the socioeconomic burden.The aim of this project was to identify the independent risk factors for pediatric RAP so as to provide evidence for its prevention,early diagnosis and treatment.Methods A retrospective cohort study of children discharged from Tianjin Children’s Hospital from June 2017 to January 2020 was performed.Demographic and clinical variables,treatment strategies,clinical course and outcomes were collected.Independent risk factors of RAP were identified using the logistic regression model.Results Of the total 96 enrolled children,30(31.3%)developed RAP during the follow-up period.The majority(27/30,90%)of the children with AP developed RAP within 6 months of their first AP attack.The presence of systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)[odds ratio(OR)=6.652,95%confidence interval(CI)1.989 to 22.247],fasting time(OR=1.267,95%CI 1.104 to 1.583),whether meet all three AP diagnostic criteria(OR=7.438,95%CI 1.346 to 41.103)and abnormal amylase/lipase value on the seventh day of hospitalization(OR=3.601,95%CI 0.972 to 13.342)were independent risk factors of RAP in children.Conclusions Most children who developed RAP had progressed within 6 months after their first episode of AP.RAP was more common in children who met all three AP diagnostic criteria at initial attack and in children with SIRS,long fasting time and abnormal amylase/lipase value on the seventh day of hospitalization.Qipeng Zheng Xueqiang Yan Liang Ge Shujian Zhang Yan Sun Jinfu Jia Shengqiao Zhao Xiaodan Xu Ran Dou Qingyun Gou Jinfeng Zhao Jianghua Zhan 2021World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2021,4,1:1

11Successful rescue of disseminated Nocardia infection with multiple abscesses in a patient with membranous nephropathy after cardiopulmonary resuscitation:A three-year follow-up显示文摘Nocardiosis manifests as an opportunistic infection,primarily affecting individuals who are immunocompromised and susceptible to the infection.We present a case study of one patient with nephrotic syndrome and membranous nephropathy,who underwent treatment with prednisone and cyclosporine in 2016.In early 2017,the patient was diagnosed with a'fungal infection'and discontinued the use of cyclosporine.After one month of anti-infection therapy,a cranial magnetic resonance imaging scan showed multiple abscesses in the right temporal region.The diagnosis of nocardiosis was confirmed based on the presence of metastatic abscess masses,multiple lung and brain lesions,and a positive culture of Nocardia in the drainage.We changed the anti-infection therapy to a combination of trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole(TMP-SMX),minocycline,and voriconazole.However,the patient experienced a sudden cardiac arrest and subsequently recovered after cardiopulmonary resuscitation.During the five-month follow-up period following the discharge,the patient displayed an enhanced nutritional status and stable renal function.The focal infection ultimately resolved during the subsequent three years.Neuro-infection caused by Nocardia should be considered in immunocompromised patients,and TMP-SMX is the preferred initial therapy;however,because of the high mortality rate,a long-term combination therapy with imipenem,cefotaxime,amikacin,and TMP-SMX is suggested.Yili Xu Hanyang Qian Wen Qian Li Dong Weiying Liu Yan Zhu Yaning Mei Yi Xu Ling Wang Yi Xia Xu Qi Huanping Mei Xueqiang Xu Huijuan Mao Changying Xing Ningning Wang 2024The Journal of Biomedical Research2024,38,2:0

13Analyzing the cellular and molecular atlas of ovarian mesenchymal cells provides a strategy against female reproductive aging显示文摘Ovarian mesenchymal cells(oMCs)constitute a distinct microenvironment that supports folliculogenesis under physiological conditions.Supplementation of exogenous non-ovarian mesenchymal-related cells has been reported to be an efficient approach to improve ovarian functions.However,the development and cellular and molecular characteristics of endogenous oMCs remain largely unexplored.In this study,we surveyed the single-cell transcriptomic landscape to dissect the cellular and molecular changes associated with the aging of oMCs in mice.Our results showed that the oMCs were composed of five ovarian differentiatedMC(odMC)populations and one ovarian mesenchymal progenitor(oMP)cell population.These cells could differentiate into various odMCs via an oMP-derived route to construct the ovarian stroma structures.Comparative analysis revealed that ovarian aging was associated with decreased quantity of oMP cells and reduced quality of odMCs.Based on the findings of bioinformatics analysis,we designed different strategies involving supplementation with young oMCs to examine their effects on female fertility and health.Our functional investigations revealed that oMCs supplementation prior to ovarian senescence was the optimal method to improve female fertility and extend the reproductive lifespan of aged females in the longterm.Longzhong Jia Wenji Wang Jing Liang Shudong Niu Yibo Wang Jian Yang Lingyu Li Ge Wang Xueqiang Xu Lu Mu Kaixin Cheng Xuebing Yang Yijing Wang Haoshu Luo Guoliang Xia Yuwen Ke Yan Zhang Hua Zhang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,12:0
14Studies on Performance of Distributed Vertical Axis Wind Turbine under Building Turbulence显示文摘As a part of the new energy development trend,distributed power generation may fully utilize a variety of decentralized energy sources.Buildings close to the installation location,besides,may have a considerable impact on the wind turbines’operation.Using a combined vertical axis wind turbine with an S-shaped lift outer blade and-shaped drag inner blade,this paper investigates how a novel type of upstream wall interacts with the incident wind at various speeds,the influence region of the turbulent vortex,and performance variation.The results demonstrate that the building’s turbulence affects the wind’s horizontal and vertical direction,as well as its speed,in downstreamplaces.The wall’s effect on wind speed changing in the downstreamarea is thoroughly investigated.It turns out that while choosing an installation location,disturbing flow areas or low disturbing flow zones should be avoided to have the least impact on wind turbine performance.Xin Sun Chi Zhang Yan Jia Shikang Sui Chong Zuo Xueqiang Liu 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,3:0
