| 2 | Zircon U-Pb geochronology of the Chinese continental crust: a preliminary analysis of the Elsevier science database显示文摘The amount of zircon U-Pb geochronological data for China has grown rapidly in recent years.Nearly 410,000 items of zircon U-Pb geochronological data,representing more than 7,000 relevant articles in the Elsevier Science Database,have been collected to a database in this research.Statistics on the ages and absolute errors of these collated data,yielded smallest standard errors for(206Pb/238U),(207Pb/235U),and(207Pb/206Pb)ages within respective time intervals of<1388.96 Ma,1388.96–3282.52 Ma,and>3282.52 Ma.The ages and their absolute errors were determined using three main geochronology methods,based on laser ablation inductively coupled mass spectrometer(LA-ICP-MS),sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe(SHRIMP),and secondary ion mass spectrometer(SIMS)measurements.We compared the influence of these different methods on errors for each age interval.In addition,using a Gaussian model of multi-peak fitting of zircon U-Pb age frequencies,we identified seven growth peaks in zircons from the Chinese continental crust,which are 48.60 Ma,131.49 Ma,249.91 Ma,444.27 Ma,835.95 Ma,1860.65 Ma,and 2505.54 Ma.It is clear that there are correspondences between these ages and various geological events,namely,the Wutai movement,Lvliang movement,Jinning movement,Caledonian movement,Indo-China movement,Yanshan movement,and Himalayaorogeny movement,respectively.The time and spatial distributions of these zircons correspond to distinct geological events on the Chinese continent,reflecting its crustal evolution. | Yujing Wu Xianjun Fang Sisi Liao Lizhi Xue Zhe Chen Jiangnan Yang Yamin Lu Kun Ling Shengyi Hu Shuyuan Kong Yiwei Xiong Huacheng Li Xiuqi Shang Rui Ji Xueyun Lu Biao Song Lei Zhang Jianqing Ji | 2019 | Big Earth Data2019,3,1: | 1 |
| 3 | A numerical simulation of latent heating within Typhoon Molave显示文摘The weather research and forecasting(WRF) model is a new generation mesoscale numerical model with a fine grid resolution(2 km), making it ideal to simulate the macro-and micro-physical processes and latent heating within Typhoon Molave(2009). Simulations based on a single-moment, six-class microphysical scheme are shown to be reasonable, following verification of results for the typhoon track, wind intensity, precipitation pattern, as well as inner-core thermodynamic and dynamic structures. After calculating latent heating rate, it is concluded that the total latent heat is mainly derived from condensation below the zero degree isotherm, and from deposition above this isotherm. It is revealed that cloud microphysical processes related to graupel are the most important contributors to the total latent heat. Other important latent heat contributors in the simulated Typhoon Molave are condensation of cloud water, deposition of cloud ice, deposition of snow, initiation of cloud ice crystals, deposition of graupel, accretion of cloud water by graupel, evaporation of cloud water and rainwater,sublimation of snow, sublimation of graupel, melting of graupel, and sublimation of cloud ice. | 4 | Lithiation-induced controllable vacancy engineering for developing highly active Ni_(3)Se_(2) as a high-rate and large-capacity battery-type cathode in hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘The poor rate capability and low capacity are huge barriers to realize the commercial applications of battery-type transition metal compounds(TMCs) cathode.Herein,numerous Se vacancy defects are introduced into the Ni_(3)Se_(2)lamellas by pre-lithiation technique,which can be acted as a novel class of battery-type cathode for hybrid supercapacitors.Appropriately modulating the contents of the preembedded lithium(Li) ions can induce a controllable vacancy content in the series of as-prepared products,effectively endowing a fast reaction kinetic and high activity for the cathode.Benefiting from the distinct design,the optimized cathode(Li2-Ni_(3)Se_(2)) presents a high specific capacity of 236 mA h g^(-1)at1 A g^(-1),importantly,it can still possess 117 mA h g^(-1)when the current density is increased up to 100A g^(-1),exhibiting relatively high rate capability.It is much superior to other battery-type TMC cathodes reported in previous studies.Moreover,the cathode also shows the excellent cycling stability with 92%capacity retention after 3,000 cycles.In addition,a hybrid supercapacitor(HSC) is assembled with the obtained Li2-Ni_(3)Se_(2)as the cathode and active carbon(AC) as the anode,which delivers a high energy density of 77 W h kg^(-1)at 4 kW kg^(-1)and long-term durability(90% capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles).Therefore,the strategy not only provides an effective way to realize the controllable vacancy content in TMCs for achieving high-perfo rmance cathodes for HSC,but also further promotes their large-scale applications in the energy storage fields. | Yinna He Ting Liu Jiangnan Song Yiwei Wang Yuxiao Zhang Jie Feng Alan Meng Guicun Li Lei Wang Jian Zhao Zhenjiang Li | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Crustal evolution events in the Chinese continent: evidence from a zircon U-Pb database显示文摘The zircon U-Pb chronology database provides a good opportunity to obtain important zircon growth peak periods in the Earth’s history so as to study the origin and evolution of the crust.It should be noted that research preference affects the objectivity of zircon sampling,leading to hot data in the database and age statistics.To evaluate the influence of hot data on statistical results,the W and Y indexes are introduced.Using a Gaussian model of multipeak fitting of zircon U-Pb age frequencies,we identify seven major growth peaks in zircons from the Chinese continental crust,which are 2498.95,1855.82,828.88,444.29,249.46,131.96,and 58.21 Ma.Due to differences in the time scales of zircon growth peaks,these peaks can be divided into two categories:first-order zircon growth peaks(Ⅰ)and second-order zircon growth peaks(Ⅱ),which represent longer and shorter time scales,perhaps due to different kinds of geological dynamics,respectively.In addition,there are clear correspondences between these ages and various geological events recognized by most scholars,namely,the Wutai orogeny,Lvliang orogeny,Jinning orogeny,Caledonian orogeny,Indosinian orogeny,Yanshanian orogeny,and Himalayan orogeny,respectively. | Yujing Wu Xianjun Fang Sisi Liao Lizhi Xue Zhe Chen Jiangnan Yang Yamin Lu Kun Ling Shengyi Hu Shuyuan Kong Yiwei Xiong Huacheng Li Xiuqi Shang Rui Ji Xueyun Lu Biao Song Lei Zhang Jianqing Ji | 2020 | International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,12: | 0 |
