| 1 | Task-related functional magnetic resonance imaging-based neuronavigation for the treatment of depression by individualized repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation of the visual cortex显示文摘To determine whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)of the visual cortex(VC)provides effective and welltolerated treatment and whether magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)measures functional change of the VC as a biomarker of therapeutic effect in major depressive disorder(MDD),we performed a sham-controlled,double-blind,randomized,three-arm VC rTMS treatment study in 74 MDD patients.Neuronavigated rTMS(10 Hz,90%of resting motor threshold,1,600 pulses over20 min twice per day)was performed over the VC for five days.Clinical outcome was measured by Hamilton Depression Rating Scale(HAMD-24)at days 0,1,3,5 and after terminating rTMS,with follow-up at four weeks.MRI was measured at days 0 and5.The individualized group exhibited the greatest change in HAMD-24 scores after VC rTMS for 5 days(F=5.53,P=0.005),which were maintained during follow-up period(F=4.22,P=0.016).All patients reported good tolerance.Changes in VC taskrelated functional MRI correlated with symptomatic reduction in the individualized group.Treatment reduced the initially abnormal increase in resting state functional connectivity from the VC to the pre/subgenual anterior cingulate cortex at day 5,especially in the individualized group.We demonstrated therapeutic potential and good tolerance of VC rTMS in MDD patients,indicated by biomarkers of f MRI measurement. | Zhijun Zhang Hongxing Zhang Chun-Ming Xie Meng Zhang Yachen Shi Ruize Song Xiang Lu Haisan Zhang Kun Li Bi Wang Yongfeng Yang Xianrui Li Jianli Zhu Yang Zhao Ti-Fei Yuan Georg Northoff | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,1: | 8 |

The distinct differences of the interfacial thermal conductance between these samples are observed. For the same metal film, the thermal boundary conductance between metal and substrate decreases with the thermal conductivity of the substrate. | 5 | Impact of nest sanitation behavior on hosts’egg rejection:an empirical study and meta-analyses显示文摘Egg rejection in birds is a specific adaptation toward avian brood parasitism,whereas nest sanitation is a general behavior for cleaning the nest and avoiding predation.However,both behaviors refer to the action of ejecting objects out of the nest,and nest sanitation has been proposed as a preadaptation for egg rejection.Here,we tested the eliciting effect of nest sanitation on egg rejection in the red-whiskered bulbul Pycnonotus jocosus,a potential host species that are sympatric with parasitic cuckoos.We conducted meta-analyses of previous studies on both nest sanitation and egg rejection,in order to evaluate the consistency of our conclusions.Our results showed that nest sanitation did not elicit egg rejection in P.jocosus.The conclusions concerning such an eliciting effect from previous studies were mixed,whereas the methodologies were inconsistent,making the studies unsuitable for comparisons.However,the ejection frequency of nest sanitation was consistently higher than the frequency of egg rejection across different host species or populations.These results suggest that nest sanitation,which is an ancient behavior,is more fundamental than egg rejection,but the effect of the former on the latter is complex and needs further study.Standardized methodologies and the integration of behavior,physiology,and modeling may provide better opportunities to explore the relationship between nest sanitation and egg rejection. | Qihong LI Jianli BI Jiangwen WU Canchao YANG | 2021 | Current Zoology2021,67,6: | 1 |
| 6 | Metabolic regulation mechanism of Aconiti Radix Cocta extract in rats based on ^(1)H-NMR metabonomics显示文摘Objective:To establish a metabonomics research technique based on the combination of^(1)H-NMR and multivariate statistical analysis,so as to explore the metabolic regulation mechanism of Aconiti Radix Cocta extract(ARCE)in rat tissues and serum.Methods:SD rats were randomly divided into blank group,female group and male group.The^(1)H-NMR technique was used to collect the information of rat tissues and serum samples in each group.The principal component analysis(PCA),partial least squares discriminant analysis(PLS-DA)and other methods were used for data pattern recognition,so as to screen out potential differential metabolites and metabolic pathways,and then network analysis and KEGG database were used to analyze the relationship between metabolites,metabolic pathways and diseases.Results:The external features and^(1)H-NMR analysis showed that the sex of rats had no obvious effect on the drug action.A total of 15 potential differential metabolites and six metabolic pathways were screened out through data pattern recognition.Through network analysis and KEGG pathway analysis,three target diseases closely related to differential metabolites were found,and the metabolic pathway related to lung cancer was the central carbon metabolism of cancer.Conclusion:This study shows that Aconiti Radix Cocta(ARC)may regulate the energy metabolism of the body by influencing arginine synthesis,so as to play the roles of anti-inflammation,analgesia,anti-tumor and immune regulation. | Wenfang Jin Jianli Bi Sheng Xu Mengfan Rao Qi Wang Yan Yuan Baolei Fan | 2022 | Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,4: | 1 |

| 8 | Reducing residues of tetracycline and its resistance genes in soil-maize system and improving plant growth:Selecting the best remediation substance显示文摘Tetracycline(TC)and tetracycline resistance genes(TRGs)in plant edible tissues pose a potential risk to the environment and then to human health.This study used a pot experiment to investigate the effects of different remediation substances(worm castings,fungal chaff,microbial inoculum,and biochar)on the physiological characteristics of maize and the residues of TC and TRGs in the soil-maize system under TC stress.The results showed that TC significantly inhibited growth,disrupted the antioxidant defense system balance,and increased proline and malondialdehyde contents of maize plants.Tetracycline residue contents were significantly higher in root than in shoot,and followed the order root>stem-leaf>grain,which was consistent with the distribution of bioconcentration factors in the different organs of maize plants.The TC residue content in the soil under different treatments was 0.013–1.341 mg kg-1.The relative abundances of different antibiotic resistance genes in the soil-maize system varied greatly,and in maize plants followed the order intI1>tetW>tetG>tet B>tetM>tetX>tetO.In the soil,tetX had the highest relative abundance,followed by tetG and tetW.A redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that TC was positively correlated with TRGs.The addition of different remediation substances alleviated the toxicity of TC on maize physiological characteristics and reduced the TC and TRG residues in the soil-maize system,with biochar being the best remediation substance.These results provide new insights into the effect of biochar on the migration of TC and TRGs from soil to plants. | Junmei QIN Jianli SONG Fenwu LIU Jian ZHANG Huaye XIONG Wenlong BI Yue NI | 2022 | Pedosphere2022,32,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Effect of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma and Eupolyphaga Steleophaga on liver protection mechanism based on pharmacokinetics and metabonomics显示文摘Objective:Based on metabonomics technology of high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS/MS)and hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(^(1)H NMR),the pharmacokinetic characteristics and therapeutic mechanism of Rhei Radix et Rhizoma(RhRR,Dahuang in Chinese),Eupolyphaga Steleophaga(EuS,Tubiechong in Chinese)combined with RhRR acting on acute liver injury were explored.Methods:Models of acute liver injury were established,and the pharmacokinetic methods of five components of RhRR-EuS in rats were found by HPLC-MS/MS.The liver tissues of different groups of mice were analyzed by ^(1)H NMR spectroscopy combined with multivariate statistical analysis to investigate the metabolomics of RhRR-EuS and RhRR.Results:Pharmacokinetic results showed there were different levels of bimodal phenomenon in different groups,and the absorption of free anthraquinone in RhRR increased after compatibility with EuS.In addition,the pathological state of acute liver injury in rats can selectively promote the absorption of emodin,chrysophanol,physcion and aloe emodin.Through 15 differential metabolites in the liver tissue of acute liver injury mice,it was revealed that RhRR-EuS and RhRR could protect the liver injury by regulating the metabolism of glutamine and glutamic acid,alanine,aspartic acid and glutamic acid,and phosphoinositide.However,the regulation of RhRR was weaker than that of RhRR-EuS.Conclusion:For the first time,we studied the pharmacokinetics and metabolomics differences of RhRREuS and RhRR in rats and mice with acute liver injury,in order to provide theoretical reference for clinical treatment of liver disease by DHZCP. | Gang Feng Jianli Bi Wenfang Jin Qi Wang Zhaokui Dan Baolei Fan | 2024 | Chinese Herbal Medicines2024,16,1: | 0 |
