1Emulsion interfacial polymerization of anticancer peptides:fabricating polypeptide nanospheres with high drug-loading efficiency and enhanced anticancer activity显示文摘The development of drug delivery systems with high drug-loading efficiency, kinetic stability against dilution, as well as enhanced anticancer activity is of crucial importance to the fields of self-assembly and nanomedicine. Herein, we propose a strategy where the anticancer peptide acts as water-soluble monomer to directly participate in emulsion interfacial polymerization for fabricating polypeptide nanospheres. The constructed polypeptide nanospheres hold a high drug loading efficiency of 77%, and can be stably dispersed in highly diluted aqueous solutions. The acid-labile amide linkage in polypeptide nanospheres can be hydrolyzed in tumor acidic environments, thus releasing anticancer peptides selectively. The polypeptide nanospheres achieve significantly enhanced anticancer activity against HCT116 cells in vitro and in vivo through improved mitochondrial and membrane disruption. In addition, its side effects on normal cells can be reduced significantly. Since the regions of parabolicity and hyperbolicity are coupled in a way that depends on the solution itself, there is almost no hope of decoupling the regions and then taking into account the parabolic and the hyperbolic features separately. The existence of solutions can be obtained by ?nding the limit of solutions for the regularized equation of strictly parabolic type. 4Layer-by-layer epitaxy of multi-layer MoS_(2) wafers显示文摘The 2D semiconductor of MoShas great potential for advanced electronics technologies beyond silicon.So far,high-quality monolayer MoSwafers have been available and various demonstrations from individual transistors to integrated circuits have also been shown.In addition to the monolayer,multilayers have narrower band gaps but improved carrier mobilities and current capacities over the monolayer.However,achieving high-quality multi-layer MoSwafers remains a challenge.Here we report the growth of high-quality multi-layer Mo S_(2) 4-inch wafers via the layer-by-layer epitaxy process.The epitaxy leads to well-defined stacking orders between adjacent epitaxial layers and offers a delicate control of layer numbers up to six.Systematic evaluations on the atomic structures and electronic properties were carried out for achieved wafers with different layer numbers.Significant improvements in device performances were found in thicker-layer field-effect transistors(FETs),as expected.For example,the average field-effect mobility(μFE)at room temperature(RT)can increase from~80 cm·V·sfor monolayers to~110/145 cm·V·for bilayer/trilayer devices.The highest RTμFEof 234.7 cm·V·sand record-high on-current densities of 1.70 m A·μmat Vds=2V were also achieved in trilayer MoSFETs with a high on/off ratio of>107.Our work hence moves a step closer to practical applications of 2D MoSin electronics.Qinqin Wang Jian Tang Xiaomei Li Jinpeng Tian Jing Liang Na Li Depeng Ji Lede Xian Yutuo Guo Lu Li Qinghua Zhang Yanbang Chu Zheng Wei Yanchong Zhao Luojun Du Hua Yu Xuedong Bai Lin Gu Kaihui Liu Wei Yang Rong Yang Dongxia Shi Guangyu Zhang 2022National Science Review2022,9,6:0
5The Gevrey smoothing effect for the spatially inhomogeneous Boltzmann equations without cut-off显示文摘In this article we study the Gevrey regularization effect for the spatially inhomogeneous Boltzmann equation without angular cut-off.This equation is partially elliptic in the velocity direction and degenerates in the spatial variable.We consider the nonlinear Cauchy problem for the fluctuation around the Maxwellian distribution and prove that any solution with mild regularity will become smooth in the Gevrey class at positive time with the Gevrey index depending on the angular singularity.Our proof relies on the symbolic calculus for the collision operator and the global subelliptic estimate for the Cauchy problem of the linearized Boltzmann operator.Hua Chen Xin Hu Wei-Xi Li Jinpeng Zhan 2022Science China Mathematics2022,65,3:0

10Effect of Intake Conditions and Nozzle Geometry on Spray Characteristics of Group-Hole Nozzle显示文摘The group-hole nozzle concept is proposed to meet the requirement of nozzle hole minimization and reduce the negative impact of poor spatial spray distributions.However,there are limited researches on the effects of intake conditions and nozzle geometry on spray characteristics of the group-hole nozzle.Therefore,in this study,an accurate spray model coupled with the internal cavitating flow was established and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations were done to study the effects of intake conditions and nozzle geometry on spray characteristics of the group-hole nozzle.Experimental data obtained using high-speed digital camera on the high-pressure common rail injection system was used to validate the numerical model.Effects of intake conditions(injection pressure and temperature)and nozzle geometry(orifice entrance curvature radius and nozzle length)on the flow and spray characteristics of the group-hole nozzle were studied numerically.The differences in Sauter mean diameter(SMD),penetration length and fuel evaporation mass between single-hole nozzle and group-hole nozzle under different nozzle geometry were also discussed.It was found that the atomization performance of the group-hole nozzle was better than that of the single-hole nozzle under same intake conditions,and the atomization effect of the short nozzle was better than that of the long nozzle.With increase in the orifice entrance curvature radius,the average velocity and turbulent kinetic energy of the fuel increased,which was conducive to improving the injection rate and flow coefficient of the nozzle.Meanwhile,the penetration length and SMD value rose,while evaporation mass dropped.When the ratio of the orifice entrance curvature radius(R)to the diameter of injection hole(D)was 0.12,the spray characteristics reached a constant state due to elimination of cavitation.Conclusions were made based on these.This study is expected to be a guide for the design of the group-hole nozzle.Jianfeng Pan Jinpeng Hua Jiaqi Yao Abiodun Oluwaleke Ojo 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,7:0
