Training a Total variability space(TVS) is one of the key parts in the i-vector method. However, the traditional training method only explores the relationship between different mean supervectors, ignoring priori category information of speakers, which results in a lack of discrimination. | 3 | Low-loading gold in situ doped with sulfur by biomolecule-assisted approach for promoted electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction显示文摘For electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction(CO_(2)RR),CO_(2)-to-CO conversion is considered an ideal route towards carbon neutrality for practical applications.Gold(Au)is known as a promising catalyst with high selectivity for CO;however,it suffers from high cost and low mass-specific activity.In this study,we design and prepare a catalyst featuring uniform S-doped Au nanoparticles on N-doped carbon support(denoted as S-Au/NC)by an in situ synthesis strategy using biomolecules.The S-Au/NC displays high activity and selectivity for CO in CO_(2)RR with a Au loading as low as 0.4 wt.%.The Faradaic efficiency of CO(FECO)for S-Au/NC is above 95%at−0.75 V(vs.RHE);by contrast,the FECO of Au/NC(without S)is only 58%.The Tafel slope is 77.4 mV·dec−1,revealing a favorable kinetics process.Furthermore,S-Au/NC exhibits an excellent long-term stability for CO_(2)RR.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the S dopant can boost the activity by reducing the free energy change of the potential-limiting step(formation of the*COOH intermediate).This work not only demonstrates a model catalyst featuring significantly reduced use of noble metals,but also establishes an in situ synthesis strategy for preparing high-performance catalysts. | Meijie Tan Xiaoqian Han Sen Ru Chao Zhang Zhouru Ji Zhaolin Shi Guomeng Qiao Yunying Wang Ruixue Cui Qiquan Luo Jiqing Jiao Yaguang Li Tongbu Lu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 1 |

| 5 | Driving risk assessment under the connected vehicle environment:a CNN-LSTM modeling approach显示文摘Connected vehicle(CV)is regarded as a typical feature of the future road transportation system.One core benefit of promoting CV is to improve traffic safety,and to achieve that,accurate driving risk assessment under Vehicle-to-Vehicle(V2V)communications is critical.There are two main differences concluded by comparing driving risk assessment under the CV environment with traditional ones:(1)the CV environment provides high-resolution and multi-dimensional data,e.g.,vehicle trajectory data,(2)Rare existing studies can comprehensively address the heterogeneity of the vehicle operating environment,e.g.,the multiple interacting objects and the time-series variability.Hence,this study proposes a driving risk assessment framework under the CV environment.Specifically,first,a set of time-series top views was proposed to describe the CV environment data,expressing the detailed information on the vehicles surrounding the subject vehicle.Then,a hybrid CNN-LSTM model was established with the CNN component extracting the spatial interaction with multiple interacting vehicles and the LSTM component solving the time-series variability of the driving environment.It is proved that this model can reach an AUC of 0.997,outperforming the existing machine learning algorithms.This study contributes to the improvement of driving risk assessment under the CV environment. | Yin Zheng Lei Han Jiqing Yu Rongjie Yu | 2023 | Digital Transportation and Safety2023,2,3: | 0 |

| 10 | IMPROVING VOICE ACTIVITY DETECTION VIA WEIGHTING LIKELIHOOD AND DIMENSION REDUCTION显示文摘The performance of the traditional Voice Activity Detection (VAD) algorithms declines sharply in lower Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) environments. In this paper, a feature weighting likeli- hood method is proposed for noise-robust VAD. The contribution of dynamic features to likelihood score can be increased via the method, which improves consequently the noise robustness of VAD. Divergence based dimension reduction method is proposed for saving computation, which reduces these feature dimensions with smaller divergence value at the cost of degrading the performance a little. Experimental results on Aurora II database show that the detection performance in noise environments can remarkably be improved by the proposed method when the model trained in clean data is used to detect speech endpoints. | 11 | Effect of chemical regulators on the recovery of leaf physiology,dry matter accumulation and translocation,and yield-related characteristics in winter wheat following dry-hot wind显示文摘Dry-hot wind stress causes losses in wheat productivity in major growing regions worldwide,especially winter wheat in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain of China,and both the occurrence and severity of such events are likely to increase with global climate change.To investigate the recovery of physiological functions and yield formation using a new noncommercial chemical regulator(NCR)following dry-hot wind stress,we conducted a three-year field experiment(2018-2021)with sprayed treatments of tap water(control),monopotassium phosphate(CKP),NCR at both the jointing and flowering stages(CFS),and NCR only at the jointing stage(FSJ)or flowering stage(FSF).The leaf physiology,biomass accumulation and translocation,grain-filling process,and yield components in winter wheat were assessed.Among the single spraying treatments,the FSJ treatment was beneficial for the accumulation of dry matter before anthesis,as well as larger increases in the maximum grain-filling rate and mean grain-filling rate.The FSF treatment performed better in maintaining a high relative chlorophyll content as indicated by the SPAD value,and a low rate of excised leaf water loss in flag leaves,promoting dry matter accumulation and the contribution to grain after anthesis,prolonging the duration of grain filling,and causing the period until the maximum grain-filling rate reached earlier.The CFS treatment was better than any other treatments in relieving the effects of dry-hot wind.The exogenous NCR treatments significantly increased grain yields by 12.45-18.20% in 2018-2019,8.89-13.82% in 2019-2020,and 8.10-9.00% in 2020-2021.The conventional measure of the CKP treatment only increased grain yield by 6.69% in 2020-2021.The CFS treatment had the greatest mitigating effect on yield loss under dry-hot wind stress,followed by the FSF and FSJ treatments,and the CKP treatment only had a minimal effect.In summary,the CFS treatment could be used as the main chemical control measure for wheat stress resistance and yield stability in areas with a high incidence of dry-hot wind.This treatment can effectively regulate green retention and the water status of leaves,promote dry matter accumulation and efficient translocation,improve the grain-filling process,and ultimately reduce yield losses. | Yanan Xu Yue Wu Yan Han Jiqing Song Wenying Zhang Wei Han Binhui Liu Wenbo Bai | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Semi-supervised Robust Feature Selection with l_(q)-Norm Graph for Multiclass Classification显示文摘Flexible manifold embedding(FME) is a semi-supervised dimension reduction framework. It has been extended into feature selection by using different loss functions and sparse regularization methods. However,these kind of methods used the quadratic form of graph embedding, thus the results are sensitive to noise and outliers. In this paper, we propose a general semisupervised feature selection model that optimizes an l_(q)norm of FME to decrease the noise sensitivity. Compare to the fixed parameter model, the l_(q)-norm graph brings flexibility to balance the manifold smoothness and the sensitivity to noise by tuning its parameter. We present an efficient iterative algorithm to solve the proposedl_(q)-norm graph embedding based semi-supervised feature selection problem, and offer a rigorous convergence analysis. | 13 | Boosting the Expense and Performance of Ann/Hmm Approch for on-line Handwriting Recognition显示文摘This paper focuses on a state sharing method for an artificial neural network (ANN) and hidden Markov model (HMM) hybrid on line handwriting recognition system. A modeling precision based distance measure is proposed to describe similarity between two ANNs, which are used as HMM state models. Limiting maximum system performance loss, a minimum quantification error aimed hierarchical clustering algorithm is designed to choose the most representative models. The system performance is improved by about 1.5% while saving 40% of the system expense. About 92% of the performance may also be maintained while reducing 70% of system parameters.
