1Growth and differentiation of neural stem cells in a three-dimensional collagen gel scaffold显示文摘Collagen protein is an ideal scaffold material for the transplantation of neural stem cells.In this study,rat neural stem cells were seeded into a three-dimensional collagen gel scaffold,with suspension cultured neural stem cells being used as a control group.Neural stem cells,which were cultured in medium containing epidermal growth factor and basic fibroblast growth factor,actively expanded and formed neurospheres in both culture groups.In serum-free medium conditions,the processes extended from neurospheres in the collagen gel group were much longer than those in the suspension culture group.Immunofluorescence staining showed that neurospheres cultured in collagen gels were stained positive for nestin and differentiated cells were stained positive for the neuronal marker βIII-tubulin,the astrocytic marker glial fibrillary acidic protein and the oligodendrocytic marker 2',3'-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase.Compared with neurospheres cultured in suspension,the differentiation potential of neural stem cells cultured in collagen gels increased,with the formation of neurons at an early stage.Our results show that the three-dimensional collagen gel culture system is superior to suspension culture in the proliferation,differentiation and process outgrowth of neural stem cells.Fei Huang Qiang Shen Jitong Zhao 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,4:3
2The soybean PLATZ transcription factor GmPLATZ17 suppresses drought tolerance by interfering with stress-associated gene regulation of GmDREB5显示文摘Plant AT-rich sequence and zinc binding(PLATZ)transcription factors are a class of plant specific zincdependent DNA-binding proteins that function in abiotic stress response and plant development.In this study,31 GmPLATZ genes were identified in soybean.GmPLATZ17 was down-regulated by drought and exogenous abscisic acid.Transgenic Arabidopsis and soybean hairy roots overexpressing GmPLATZ17 showed drought sensitivity and inhibition of stress-associated gene transcription.In contrast,suppressed expression of GmPLATZ17 led to increased drought tolerance in transgenic soybean hairy roots.The GmPLATZ17 protein was verified to interact physically with the GmDREB5 transcription factor,and overexpression of GmDREB5 increased drought tolerance in soybean hairy roots.Interaction of GmPLATZ17 with GmDREB5 was shown to interfere with the DRE-binding activity of GmDREB5,suppressing downstream stress-associated gene expression.These results show that GmPLATZ17 inhibits drought tolerance by interacting with GmDREB5.This study sheds light on PLATZ transcription factors and the function of GmPLATZ17 in regulating drought sensitivity.Juanying Zhao Lei Zheng Jitong Wei Yixuan Wang Jun Chen Yongbin Zhou Ming Chen Fengzhi Wang Youzhi Ma Zhao-Shi Xu 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,4:1

4Preparation of Eco-Friendly High-Performance Manganese Dioxide Supercapacitors by Linear Sweep Voltammetry显示文摘In this paper,the non-polluting,non-toxic,and eco-friendly material-MnO_(2)electrodes were deposited on three-dimensional porous nickel(Ni)foam by linear sweep voltammetry,and the entire electrodeposition process did not require sintering of the material,which was fast and convenient while avoiding unnecessary energy consump-tion and thus was environmentally friendly.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy were used to examine the surface and microscopic characteristics of each sample(TEM).Chronoam-perometry(CA),cyclic voltammetry(CV),galvanostatic charge/discharge(GCD),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)were then used to determine the electrochemical characteristics of the manufactured samples.The result suggests that the MnO_(2)-sv80 electrode sample at a scan rate of 80 mV/s^(−1)has excellent performance for the supercapacitor electrode.The specific capacitance was as high as 531.4 F g^(−1)at a current density of 1 A g^(−1)and remained at 223.2 F g^(−1)at an ultra-high current density of 20 A g^(−1),with capacitance retention of 42%.Junshan Zhao Yihan Shi Ming Zhang Liu Zhang Xumei Cui Xinghua Zhu Jitong Su Dandan Jing Dingyu Yang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,1:0
