| 5 | Energy-efficient methods for production methane from natural gas hydrates显示文摘Gas hydrates now are expected to be one of the most important future unconventional energy resources. In this paper, researches on gas hydrate exploitation in laboratory and field were reviewed and discussed from the aspects of energy efficiency. Different exploiting methods and different types of hydrate reservoir were selected to study their effects on energy efficiencies. Both laboratory studies and field tests have shown that the improved technologies can help to increase efficiency for gas hydrate exploitation. And it also showed the trend that gas hydrate exploitation started to change from permafrost to marine. Energy efficiency ratio(EER) and energy return on energy invested(EROI) were introduced as an indicator of efficiency for natural gas hydrate exploitation. The multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform (MPFRFT) is a generalized fractional Fourier transform, which not only includes FRFT as special cases, but also provides a unified framework for the study of FRFT. In this paper, we present in detail the discretization method of the MPFRFT and define the discrete multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform (DMPFRFT). Then, we utilize the tensor product to define two-dimensional multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform (2D-MPFRFT) and the corresponding two-dimensional discrete multiple-parameter fractional Fourier transform (2D-DMPFRFT). Finally, as an application, a novel image encryption method based on 2D-DMPFRFT is proposed. | 7 | Kinetic hydrate inhibitor performance of new copolymer poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone-co-2-vinyl pyridine)s with TBAB显示文摘In oil and gas field, the application of kinetic hydrate inhibitors (KHIs) independently has remained problematic in high subcooling and high water-cut situation. One feasible method to resolve this problem is the combined use of KHIs and some synergists, which would enhance KHIs’ inhibitory effect on both hydrate nucleation and hydrate crystal growth. In this study, a novel kind of KHI copolymer poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone-co-2-vinyl pyridine)s (HGs) is used in conjunction with TBAB to show its high performance on hydrate inhibition. The performance of HGs with different monomer ratios in structure II tetrahydrofuran (THF) hydrate is investigated using kinetic hydrate inhibitor evaluation apparatus by step-cooling method and isothermal cooling method. With the combined gas hydrate inhibitor at the concentration of 1.0 wt%, the induction time of 19 wt% THF solution could be prolonged to 8.5 h at a high subcooling of 6℃. | 9 | Synthesis and application of a novel combined kinetic hydrate inhibitor显示文摘In oil and gas exploration and transportation,low dosage hydrate inhibitors(LDHIs) are more favorably utilized to inhibit the formation of hydrates than thermodynamic inhibitors(THs) as a trend. However,there are no industrial products of LDHIs available domestically,and the corresponding application experience is in urgent need. In this paper,a combined hydrate inhibitor(HY-1) was synthesized after a series of reaction condition optimization,and its performance on THF hydrate inhibition was investigated using kinetic hydrate inhibitor evaluation apparatus with 6 cells bathing in air. The results show that when the reaction temperature is 60°C,the reaction time is 6 h,and the monomer:solvent ratio is 1:2,the product has the best kinetic hydrate inhibitor performance on THF hydrate. On these bases,the scale-up production of this combined hydrate inhibitor was carried out. Although the scale-up product(HY-10) performs less effectively on the THF hydrate inhibition than HY-1,it functions better than a commercial product(Inhibex501) during in-house tests. HY-10 was successfully applied to the gas production process. Field trials in northern Shaanxi PetroChina Changqing Oilfield Company(PCOC) show that 2 wt% of HY-10 is effective on natural gas hydrate inhibition. | 14 | Therapeutic effects of low-frequency phonophoresis with a Chinese herbal medicine versus sodium diclofenac for treatment of knee osteoarthritis: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of low-frequency phonophoresis with a Chinese herbal medicine(CHM) compared with sodium diclofenac(SD) for knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS: In this double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, 100 KOA patients were assigned randomly to a placebo group, a CHM group,or SD group. Low-frequency phonophoresis was used to improve the efficiency of drug delivery.Pain at rest [using a visual analog scale(VAS)], pain on movement(VAS), and range of motion(degrees) in the three groups were evaluated using the Western Ontario and Mc Master Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMACAI) scores. Safety assessments comprised emergency adverse events, aswell as laboratory tests of blood biochemistry, creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase.RESULTS: Significant improvements were found after treatment in all outcome measures except stiffness and range of motion in patients in the CHMP group and SDP group(P < 0.05). | 15 | Amperometric Determination of lndole-3-acetic Acid Based on Platinum Nanowires and Carbon Nanotubes显示文摘Platinum nanowire (PtNW) can be grown by electrodeposition in polycarbonate membrane, with the average diameter of the nanowires about 250 nm. The PtNW and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNT) are then dispersed into chitosan (CHIT) solution. The resulting PtNW-CNT-CHIT material brings new capabilities for electrochemical devices by using the synergistic action of the electrocatalytic activity of PtNW and CNT. By dropping the PtNW-CNT-CHIT film onto the glassy carbon (GC) electrode surface, and after evaporation an amperometric sensor for the determination of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) was developed. The oxidation current of IAA increased significantly at the PtNW-CNT-CHIT film coated GC electrode, in contrast to that at the CNT-CHIT modified GC. The role of E3 ligases in tumorigenesis is currently a focus in tumor research. In the present study, we investigated the role of the E3 ligase tripartite motif 21(TRIM21) in osteosarcoma cell proliferation.Methods 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assays were used to assess osteosarcoma cell viability. U2-OS cells stably carrying a recombinant lentivirus expressing tetracycline-regulated TRIM21 were screened. Co-immunoprecipitation was coupled with LCMS/MS analysis to identify novel interacting partners of TRIM21. Co-immunoprecipitation and bimolecular fluorescence complementation(BIFC) were performed to validate the interactions between TRIM21 and its novel partner YWHAZ. A TRIM21-ΔRING construct was generated to test the effects of TRIM21 ligase activity on YWHAZ.Results TRIM21 positively regulated osteosarcoma cell proliferation. Overexpression of TRIM21 enhanced osteosarcoma cell tolerance toward various stresses. YWHAZ protein was identified as a novel interacting partner of TRIM21 and its expression levels were negatively regulated by TRIM21. The RING domain of TRIM21 was required for TRIM21 negative regulation of YWHAZ expression. | 19 | Sulfate sources constrained by sulfur and oxygen isotopic compositions in the upper reaches of the Xijiang River,China显示文摘While it is critical to accurately understand the sources and transformation of sulfate based on time-series analysis, there are limited studies on temporal variation of sulfate in rivers and on rock weathering by sulfuric acids.We conducted a monthly sampling campaign in the Beipan, Nanpan, and Hongshui Rivers over the course of one hydrological year. This study examined seasonal variations in riverine sulfate impacted by the monsoon climate in the upper reaches of the Xijiang River basin. In general, the SO_4^(2-) contents in these rivers dropped from relatively high levels to low values during the high-flow season, in response to increasing discharge. The sulfate was generally enriched in heavy isotopes during the low-flow season compared to the high-flow season. The calculated results indicate that the riverine sulfate was mainly derived from sulfide oxidation, but that evaporite dissolution could be an important source during the low-flow season, based on isotopic evidence. Mine drainage is likely an important source of sulfate to these rivers during the high-flow season due to contributions from fast surface flow, which responds to frequent heavy rain in monsoonal climate regions. Arelatively high proportion of HCO_3^- was found to be derived from rock weathering by sulfuric acid during the high-flow season when compared to that observed during the low-flow season. The results suggest that approximately one quarter of the HCO_3^- in the Hongshui River originated from carbonate weathering by sulfuric acid derived from the oxidation of sulfide.
