| 2 | Drop test and crash simulation of a civil airplane fuselage section显示文摘Crashworthiness of a civil airplane fuselage section was studied in this paper. Firstly, the failure criterion of a rivet was studied by test, showing that the ultimate tension and shear failure loads were obviously affected by the loading speed. The relations between the loading speed and the average ultimate shear, tension loads were expressed by two logarithmic functions. Then, a vertical drop test of a civil airplane fuselage section was conducted with an actual impact velocity of6.85 m/s, meanwhile the deformation of cabin frame and the accelerations at typical locations were measured. The finite element model of a main fuselage structure was developed and validated by modal test, and the error between the calculated frequencies and the test ones of the first four modes were less than 5%. Numerical simulation of the drop test was performed by using the LS-DYNA code and the simulation results show a good agreement with that of drop test. Deforming mode of the analysis was the same as the drop test; the maximum average rigid acceleration in test was 8.81 g while the calculated one was 9.17 g, with an error of 4.1%; average maximum test deformation at four points on the front cabin floor was 420 mm, while the calculated one was 406 mm, with an error of 3.2%; the peak value of the calculated acceleration at a typical location was 14.72 g, which is lower than the test result by 5.46%; the calculated rebound velocity result was greater than the test result 17.8% and energy absorption duration was longer than the test result by 5.73%. | Liu Xiaochuan Guo Jun Bai Chunyu Sun Xiasheng Mou Rangke | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,2: | 12 |
| 3 | Prognostic value and nomograms of proximal margin distance in gastric cancer with radical distal gastrectomy显示文摘Objective:The proximal margin(PM)distance for distal gastrectomy(DG)of gastric cancer(GC)remains controversial.This study investigated the prognostic value of PM distance for survival outcomes,and aimed to combine clinicopathologic variables associated with survival outcomes after DG with different PM distance for GC into a prediction nomogram.Methods:Patients who underwent radical DG from June 2004 to June 2014 at Department of General Surgery,Nanfang Hospital,Southern Medical University were included.The first endpoints of the prognostic value of PM distance(assessed in 0.5 cm increments)for disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)were assessed.Multivariate analysis by Cox proportional hazards regression was performed using the training set,and the nomogram was constructed,patients were chronologically assigned to the training set for dates from June 1,2004 to January 30,2012(n=493)and to the validation set from February 1,2012 to June 30,2014(n=211).Results:Among 704 patients with p TNM stage I,p TNM stage II,T1-2,T3-4,N0,differentiated type,tumor size≤5.0 cm,a PM of(2.1-5.0)cm vs.PM≤2.0 cm showed a statistically significant difference in DFS and OS,while a PM>5.0 cm was not associated with any further improvement in DFS and OS vs.a PM of 2.1-5.0 cm.In patients with p TNM stage III,N1,N2-3,undifferentiated type,tumor size>5.0 cm,the PM distance was not significantly correlated with DFS and OS between patients with a PM of(2.1-5.0)cm and a PM≤2 cm,or between patients with a PM>5.0 cm and a PM of(2.1-5.0)cm,so there were no significant differences across the three PM groups.In the training set,the C-indexes of DFS and OS,were 0.721 and 0.735,respectively,and in the validation set,the C-indexes of DFS and OS,were 0.752 and 0.751,respectively.Conclusions:It is necessary to obtain not less than 2.0 cm of PM distance in early-stage disease,while PM distance was not associated with long-term survival in later and more aggressive stages of disease because more advanced GC is a systemic disease.Different types of patients should be considered for removal of an individualized PM distance intra-operatively.We developed a universally applicable prediction model for accurately determining the 1-year,3-year and 5-year DFS and OS of GC patients according to their preoperative clinicopathologic characteristics and PM distance. | Jun Luo Yuming Jiang Xinhua Chen Yuehong Chen Jhang Lopsang Gurung Tingyu Mou Liying Zhao Guoqing Lyu Tuanjie Li Guoxin Li Jiang Yu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 8 |
| 4 | An Image Encryption Algorithm Based on BP Neural Network and Hyperchaotic System显示文摘To reduce the bandwidth and storage resources of image information in communication transmission, and improve the secure communication of information. In this paper, an image compression and encryption algorithm based on fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system and BP neural network is proposed. In this algorithm, the image pixel values are compressed by BP neural network, the chaotic sequences of the fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system are used to diffuse the pixel values. The experimental simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm not only can effectively compress and encrypt image, but also have better security features. | 6 | Lipid-associated membrane proteins of Mycoplasma penetrans induce production of proinflammatory cytokines in human monocytic cells显示文摘The aim of this study is to explore potential pathogenicity of Mycoplasma penetrans, and to investigate whether M.penetrans lipid-associated membrane proteins (LAMPs) could induce human monocytic cell line (THP-1) to produce some proinflammatory cytokines in vitro, including interleukin-1β(IL-1β) , tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) , and IL-8. THP-1 was stimulated with different concentrations of M .penetrans LAMPs and at different time to analyze the production of human IL-1β, TNF-αand IL-8. The protein levels of human IL-1β, TNF-αand IL-8 were measured by enzyme-linked immunoadsorbent assay (ELISA) and the mRNA levels of these proinflamrnatory cytokines were detected by reverse transcriptase -PCR (RT-PCR). It was demonstrated in the present study that the production of IL-1β, TNF-αand IL-8 increased in dose- and time-dependent manner after stimulation with M. penetrans LAMPs in THP-1 cells. M.penetrans LAMPs also induced the expression of IL-1β, TNF-αand IL-8 mRNA. The production of IL-1β, TNF-αand IL-8 and the expression of mRNA were down-regulated by pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC). | 7 | Microaerobic Fe (Ⅱ) oxidation coupled to carbon assimilation processes driven by microbes from paddy soil显示文摘Microaerobic Fe(Ⅱ) oxidation process at neutral pH, driven by microbes can couple to carbon assimilation process in iron-rich freshwater and marine environments;however, few studies report such coupled processes in paddy soil of the critical zone in South China. In this study, rhizosphere soil from flooded paddy field was used as the inoculum to enrich the microaerophilic Fe(Ⅱ)-oxidizing bacteria(FeOB) in gradient tubes with different Fe(Ⅱ) substrates(FeS and FeCO_3) and ^(13)C-biocarbonate as inorganic carbon source to track the carbon assimilation. Kinetics of Fe(Ⅱ) oxidation and biomineralization were analyzed, and the composition and abundance of the microbial community were profiled using 16 S rRNA gene-based highthroughput sequencing. Results showed that microbial cell bands were formed 0.5–1.0 cm below the medium surface in the inoculated tubes with Fe(Ⅱ) substances, while no cell band was found in the non-inocula controls. The protein concentrations in the cell bands reached the highest values at 18.7–22.9 mg m^L(-1) on 6 d in the inocula tubes with Fe(Ⅱ) substrates. A plateau of the yields of ^(13)C-biocarbonate incorporation was observed during 6–15 d at 0.44–0.54% and 1.61–1.98% in the inocula tubes with FeS and FeCO_3, respectively. The inocula tube with FeS showed a higher Fe(Ⅱ) oxidation rate of 0.156 mmol L^(-1) d^(-1) than that with FeCO_3(0.106 mmol L^(-1) d^(-1)). Analyses of X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy revealed that amorphous iron oxide was formed on the surface of rod-shaped bacteria after Fe(Ⅱ) oxidation.Relative to the agar only control, the abundances of Clostridium and Pseudogulbenkiania increased in the inocula tube with FeS,while those of Vogesella, Magnetospirillum, Solitalea, and Oxalicibacterium increased in the inocula tube with FeCO_3, all of which might be the potential microaerophilic FeOB in paddy soil. | 9 | Development and Evaluation of a MAb-Based ELISA for Detection of Chlamy- dophila pneumoniae Infection with Variable Domain 2 and 3 of the Major Outer Membrane protein显示文摘Objective This paper aims to develop a monoclonal antibodies (MAbs)- based ELISA for detecting Chlamydophila pneumoniae (C. pneumoniae) antigens in humans with the variable domains (VD) 2 and 3 of the major outer membrane protein (MOMP VD2-VD3 ) and to assess its sensitivity and specificity by comparing with a widely used MAb that is able to recognize the elementary bodies of C. pneumoniae. Methods MOMP VD2-VD3 were overexpressed in Escherichia coli and purified by affinity chromatography. Mice were immunized with the recombinant antigen, and hybridomas secreting MAbs were screened. Three stable hybridomas clones were selected and named 5D6, 7G3, and 8C9. The MAbs-based ELISA was scrutinized for species-specific recognition with a number of human throat swab samples from Group I (156 patients with typical respiratory illness clinically confirmed before) and Group II (57 healthy donors). Results In Group I, 55 positive cases were detected by anti-EB MAb-based ELISA, 51 cases were positive by MAbs 5D6-based ELISA, and 33 and 38 cases were positive by MAb 8C9 and 7G3-based ELISA respectively. Of the 57 samples from Group II 'healthy donors', 5 were positive and 52 were negative with both anti-EB and 5D6-based tests, while 2 and 3 positive cases were identified by the other two MAb-based ELISAs respectively. | 10 | A Study of Soil-dynamics Based on a Simulated Drought in an Alpine Meadow on the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Extreme weather events have played an important role in driving the ecosystem dynamics in high altitude areas,but the underlying mechanism remains unclear.To understand if and how the soil processes of an ecosystem react to extreme drought,we manipulated a once-in-a-century meteorological extreme drought in an alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau,which is also known as the 'forerunner of global weather changes'.The extremity was determined by statistical extreme weather events with respect to a historical reference period from April to September during 1962-2004,where the local historical precipitation data was calculated and intensified to 100-year recurrent drought event with GumbelⅠdistribution.The indicators we measured included soil microbial biomass C/N/P and soil enzymatic activities of phosphatase(AP) disbounding organic phosphate,cellobiohydrolase(CBH),βglucocidase(BG),N-releasing enzyme N-acetylglucosaminidase(NAG) as well as soil respirations,during and after the treatments.It was found that the manipulated event induced a rapid shift in microbial biomass and activities,indicating a lower resistance of the underground process.However,the microbial and biochemical parameters saw rapid recovery after the event,which meant the soil processes enjoyed high resilience.The high responsiveness and lag-time effects of the soil indicators rendered new horizons for us to evaluate the interaction between the extremes and the ecosystem stability.Our study indicated that the once-in-a-century extreme drought induced very short term response in the soil biotic process,and the soil processes worked to buffer against such events under the observation period. | WANG Zhi-yuan SUN Geng LUO Peng MOU Cheng-xiang WANG Jun | 2013 | Journal of Mountain Science2013,10,5: | 2 |

| 12 | Eukaryotic expression of outer membrane protein Gpd from Treponema pallidum and preliminary studies on its immune response in rabbits显示文摘The Gpd gene was amplified from the genomic DNA of Treponema pallidum and cloned into the appropriate site of pcDNA3.1(+) vector. The expression of pcDNA3.1(+)-Gpd in HeLa cells was tested with Western blotting and technology of immunocytochemistry. New Zealand rabbits were immunized with the eukaryotic expression recombinant pcDNA3.1(+)-Gpd. A fusion protein of Gpd with 4.1 kDa has been effectively expressed in HeLa cells, which were detected by Western blotting and the immunocytochemistry techniques. The New Zealand rabbits were able to elicit the specific antibody after immunization with the nucleic acid vaccine. The antibody titer could reach as high as 1∶1024 after 2 weeks of the third injection; and the splenocytes proliferated evidently due to the Gpd protein stimulation. Both the antibody titer and the splenocytes proliferation were higher substantially than those of controls (P<0.01).
