1Structurally tunable characteristics of ionic liquids for optimizing lithium plating/stripping via electrolyte engineering显示文摘Electrolyte chemistry offers the opportunity to regulate the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) and Li^(+)solvation,which is considered to be crucial to the growth of lithium crystals for safe lithium metal batteries(LMBs).Structurally tunable characteristics of ionic liquids(ILs) from anion type,cationic substituent chain length and cationic substituents,will contribute this field.Here,we explore the influence mechanism of imidazole-based ILs as electrolyte additives on Li+solvation and the formation of SEI.ILs can participate into the formation of efficient SEI,together with cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI).Moreover,ILs can also regulate the sheath structure of Li^(+)solvation,to fasten the kinetics of Li.Furthermore,the imidazole-based cations with long alkyl chain can form an electrostatic shield around newly formed Li nucleus,and suppress further Li plating at this site.Under the optimized condition,the 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide([OMIm]TFSI) additive shows the best ability to enhance the electrochemical performance,endowing the Li||Li symmetric cell with a stable life(over800 h) at 0.5 mA cm^(-2) and the Li||LiNi_(0.6)Mn_(0.2)Co_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622) full cell with a high capacity of 141.7 mAh g^(-1) after 200 cycles at 0.5 C.Shihan Qi Jiandong Liu Jian He Huaping Wang Mingguang Wu Daxiong Wu Junda Huang Fang Li Xin Li Yurong Ren Jianmin Ma 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12:2
2Pseudo-concentrated electrolytes for lithium metal batteries显示文摘Lithium metal batteries suffer from short lifespans and low Coulombic efficiency (CE) due to the high reactivity of Li and the poor stability of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI). Herein, we propose the concept of a pseudo-concentrated electrolyte (PCE) induced by an electron-deficient additive (4-pyridylboronic acid;4-PBA) to form a robust, LiF-rich SEI, thus addressing the above issues. Molecular dynamics simulations confirm that 4-PBA can increase the coordination number of PF6^(-) anions in the Li+ solvation sheath to achieve pseudo-concentrated LiPF6 in the electrolyte. Moreover, the 4-PBA can scavenge harmful PF5 decomposed from LiPF6 to stabilize the LiF-rich SEI. The resulting robust LiF-rich SEI promotes Li growth along the SEI/Li interface and represses the growth of Li dendrites. Thus, excellent performance is achieved, with a high CE of 97.1% for a Li||Cu cell at 1.0 ​mA ​cm^(−2), and over 950 cycles at 0.5 ​mA ​cm^(−2) for Li||Li symmetric cells with 1.0 ​wt% 4-PBA electrolyte. 4In-situ DRIFT assessment on strengthening effect of cerium over FeO_(x)/TiO_(2)catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x) with NH_(3)显示文摘Fe-based catalysts have a great potential to be used for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NO_(x)with NH3 reaction due to their low cost,nontoxicity and excellent catalytic activity.The aim of this paper is to investigate Ce doping effect on activity of NH_(3)-SCR over the FeO_(x)/TiO_(2)catalyst.In-situ diffuse reflectance infrared fourier transform(DRIFT)technology was utilized to verity the adsorbed species on the surface of FeO_(x)/TiO_(2)and FeO_(x)-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)catalysts.With respect to the obtained results,among the four catalysts studied,the FeO_(x)-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)with the FeO_(x)/CeO_(2)ratio of 3/8 shows the best NO conversion more than 98%in the temperature range of 230—350℃,The active centers for NH_(3)adsorption and activation are assigned to Lewis acid sites over the FeO_(x)-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)and monodentate nitrates can act as the key intermediate in the NH3-SCR.Moreover,both of Langmuir-Hinshelwood and Eley-Rideal mechanisms are observed over the FeO_(x)-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)catalysts in the SCR.Hossein Chitsazi Ningqiang Zhang Lingcong Li Xiaojun Liu Rui Wu Junda He Liyun Song Hong He 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,5:0
5Tributyrin administration improves intestinal development and health in pre-weaned dairy calves fed milk replacer显示文摘Butyrate and its derivatives possess various nutritional and biological benefits for mammals,whereas its effects on dairy calves have not been well characterized.This study evaluated the effects of tributyrin administration on blood immune,intestinal immune and barrier functions,and microbial composition of pre-weaned dairy calves.Twenty newborn Holstein bull calves were randomly assigned into a control group(no tributyrin supplementation,CON;n=10)or a treatment group(supplemented with tributyrin at 2 g/L of milk,TRB;n=10).The results showed that diarrhea frequency was decreased significantly by tributyrin administration from d 29 to 56(P<0.001)and the whole period(P=0.003,d 1 to 56)though no significant effects were observed on growth performance.For blood metabolites,tributyrin administration significantly reduced the concentration of interleukin-1b(IL-1b)on d 28(P=0.001)and tended to reduce the concentration of serum amyloid A on d 56(P=0.079),whereas serum oxidative status parameters were not affected.For intestinal development,tributyrin administration increased the villus height(P<0.001)and the ratio of villus height to crypt depth(P=0.046)in the jejunum,and the villus height in the ileum(P=0.074).Furthermore,toll-like receptor 2(TRL2,P=0.045)and IL-1b(P=0.088)gene expressions were downregulated,while claudin-4(P=0.022)gene expression was upregulated in the jejunum following tributyrin administration.In the ileum,claudin-4(P=0.029)and G-protein coupled receptor 41(P=0.019)gene expressions were upregulated in the TRB group compared to CON.No significantly higher abundances of microbiota were found in the jejunum or ileum of calves in the CON group.In the TRB group,supplementing tributyrin significantly increased the abundance of shortchain fatty acid(SCFA)-producing bacteria,including Ruminococcaceae,Lachnospiraceae,Prevotella and Rikenellaceae(LDA>3.5,P<0.05),which was negatively associated with inflammatory gene expression(TLR2 and IL-1b)but positively associated with intestinal barrier genes(claudin-4)and morphological parameters(P<0.05).In conclusion,supplementing tributyrin in milk replacer could improve intestinal development and health of pre-weaned dairy calves by stimulating SCFA-producing bacteria colonization,enhancing intestinal barrier functions and suppressing inflammatory responses.Shuai Liu Junda Wu Zhaohai Wu Gibson Maswayi Alugongo Muhammad Zahoor Khan Jinghui Li Jianxin Xiao Zhiyuan He Yulin Ma Shengli Li Zhijun Cao 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,3:0
