1Effects of Sini San used alone and in combination with fluoxetine on central and peripheral 5-HT levels in a rat model of depression显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Sini San and fluoxetine on the levels of central and peripheral 5-HT in a rat model of depression, and provide new insight into the treatment of depression with integrated Chinese-Western Medicine.METHODS: A rat model of depression was established by chronic mild stress(CMS). Model rats received either Sini San, fluoxetine, a combination of the two drugs, or no drug treatment. Healthy naive rats were used as controls. Open field and sucrose preference tests were used to assess depression-like behavior. ELISA and immunohistochemistry were used to determine central and peripheral levels of 5-HT.RESULTS: In the group with no drug treatment,central 5-HT expression decreased while peripheral5-HT concentrations increased as CMS continued.Four weeks after CMS, Sini San alone was less effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone or in combination with Sini San,but combined use was more effective than fluoxetine alone. Eight weeks after CMS, Sini San alone or in combination with fluoxetine was more effective in reducing depression-like behavior than fluoxetine alone. Furthermore Sini San and fluoxetine used alone or in combination notably increased central 5-HT expression and decreased peripheral 5-HT levels in the rat model.CONCLUSION:The results of the present study indicate that there is a synergistic action between the two medicines in the treatment of depression. Sini San exhibited a relatively long lag before its effects were observed; however, by eight weeks the Traditional Chinese Medicine appeared at least as effective as fluoxetine. 4Simplified full-depth precast concrete deck panel systems for accelerated bridge construction显示文摘A simplified full-depth precast concrete deck panel system for accelerating bridge construction(ABC) is introduced and a finite element analysis(FEA) is conducted to investigate the static and dynamic responses of this conceptual deck system. The FEA results are compared to those of the traditional full-depth precast concrete deck panel system. The comparison results show that the mechanical behavior of the new deck system is different from that of the traditional deck system. The concrete decks in the new system act as two-way slabs, instead of the one-way slab in the traditional system. Meanwhile, the connections in both the longitudinal and transverse directions may need to accommodate the negative moments.Compared to those in the traditional system, the longitudinal nominal stress at middle span increases a lot in the new deck system and the effective flange width varies significantly. 7High performance liquid chromatographic separation of eight drugs collected in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010 on amylose ramification chiral stationary phase显示文摘The enantiomers separation of ei ght pharmaceutical racemates collected in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010(Ch.P2010),including nitrendipine,felodipine,omeprazole,praziquantel,sulpiride,clenbuterol hydrochloride,verapamil hydrochloride and chlorphenamine maleate,was performed on chiral stationary phase of amylose ramification by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)on Chiralpak AD-H column and Chiralpak AS-H column with the mobile phase consisted of isopropanol and n-hexane.The detection wavelength and the flow rate were set at 254 nm and 0.7 mL/min,respectively.The effects of proportion of organic additives,alcohol displacer and temperature on the separation were investigated.The results indicated that eight chiral drugs were separated on chiral stationary phase of amylase ramification in normal phase chroma tographic system.The chromatographic retention and resolution of enantiomers were adjusted by factors,including the changes of the concentration of alcohol displacer in mobile phase,organic alkaline modifier and column temperature.It was shown that the resolution was improved with reducing concentration of alcohol displacer.When the concentration of organic alkaline modifier was 0.2%,the resolution and the peak shape were fairly good.Most racemates mentioned above had the best resolution at column temperature of 25℃.The best temperature should be kept unchanged in the process of separation so as to obtain stable separation results.Yan Wang Ying Zhou Chao Ma Beibei Yang Ru Feng Yiying Zhang Jie Fu Wenjing Chen Yupeng Sun Jingyi Ma Qiming Zhang Yulin Deng Yukui Zhang Wenyi He 2012Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2012,2,5:3

9VIRTUAL EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS ON CLEANING ELEMENT OF SUGARCANE HARVESTER显示文摘The laws of influence of different factors have been analyzed in order to enhance the working efficiency and fatigue life of the cleaning element in brush shape of the sugarcane harvester.Based on the principle of orthogonal experiment design, the virtual-orthogonal-experimental analysis for the cleaning element is carried out on the finite element analysis (FEA) software-ANSYS after analyzing the nonlinear structural behavior in the working procedure. The results are analyzed with the overall balancing method, and then the optimal combination is got, which is made up of different levels of different factors. 12Efficient CO2 to CO conversion at moderate temperatures enabled by the cobalt and copper co-doped ferrite oxygen carrier显示文摘Chemical looping technology holds great potential on efficient CO2 splitting with much higher CO production and CO2 splitting rate than photocatalytic processes.Conventional oxygen carrier requires high temperature(typically 850–1000°C)to ensure sufficient redox activity,but the stable and high CO2 conversion is favored at a lower temperature,leading to the degrading on the reaction kinetics as well as the low CO production and CO2 splitting rate.In this paper,we prepared several ternary spinels and demonstrated their performance for chemical looping CO2 splitting at moderate temperatures.Using the promotion effect of Cu to cobalt ferrite reduction and reversible phase change of the reduced metals,Cu0.4 Co0.6 Fe2 O4 exhibits high CO2 splitting rate(144.6μmol g–1 min–1)and total CO production(9100μmol g–1)at 650°C.The high performance of this earth-abundant spinel material is also consistent in repeated redox cycles,enabling their potential in industrial use.Yu Qiu Li Ma Dewang Zeng Min Li Dongxu Cui Yulin Lv Shuai Zhang Rui Xiao 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:2
13Gut microbiota-derived metabolites contribute negatively to hindgut barrier function development at the early weaning goat model显示文摘Early weaning induces intestinal injury,leading to a series of long-term symptoms such as inflammation,malabsorption and diarrhea.In this study,we hypothesized that microbes and theirmetabolitesmodulate the host's inflammatory response to early weaning stress in a goatmodel.A total of 18 female Tibetan goat kids(n?9)wereweaned fromtheirmothers at 28 d(D28)and 60 d(D60)postpartum.D60 and D28 groupswere fed the same solid diet ad libitum fromweaning to 75 d of age.The colonic epithelium was subject to RNAsequencing,the caecal digesta metabolomics were assessed by liquid chromatographyetandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS),and the caecal microbiota composition was analysed by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing.We foundthatearlyweaningsubstantially increased the colonic pro-apoptotic gene expressionof B-cell lymphoma associated X(Bax),caspase-9,and caspase-3,and decreased the expression of zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)and claudin-1(P<0.01).In addition,a significant Bacteroides acidifaciens enrichmentwas observed in the hindgut of early-weaned goats(P<0.01),which negatively correlated with lysophosphatidylcholine products.Similarly,the chemokine signaling,IL-17 signaling,and peroxisome proliferatorsactivated receptor(PPAR)signaling pathways were upregulated in the colonic mucosa of the early-weaned goats.By applying caecal microbiota transplantation from goats to defaunated C57/6J mice,we confirmed that caecalmicrobiota of D28 goat kids increased the relative abundance of B.acidifaciens and significantly upregulated the genes of Bax,G proteinecoupled receptor(GPR)109A,GPR 43,fatty acid binding protein 6,nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group H member 3,angiotensin converting enzyme 2,and IL-6 expression(P<0.05),and decreased ZO-1,and claudin-1 protein expression in the mice jejunum and colon(P<0.001).These results proposed that the hindgut microbiota andmetabolites mediate the barrier functionweakening duringearlyweaning,and the relative abundance of B.acidifacienswas negatively correlatedwiththe hindgut barrier gene expression.This studydemonstrateshowweaningstress canaffectkeyhostemicrobe interaction regulators in the hindgut,in a lysophosphatidylcholine dependent and independent manner.Furthermore,based on our mice data,these results are transferable to other mammal species.Ke Zhang Yangbin Xu Yuxin Yang Mengmeng Guo Ting Zhang Bo Zong Shuhong Huang Langda Suo Baohua Ma Xiaolong Wang Yujiang Wu Daniel Brugger Yulin Chen 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,3:2
14Effects of surface states over core-shell Ni@SiO_2 catalysts on catalytic partial oxidation of methane to synthesis gas显示文摘In the present work, core-shell Ni@Si O2 catalysts were investigated in order to evaluate the relevance of catalytic activity and surface states of Ni core as well as Ni nanoparticles size to catalytic partial oxidation of methane(POM). The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption,H2-TPR, XRD, TEM and XPS techniques. The catalytic performance of the core-shell catalysts was found to be dependent on the surface states of catalyst, which influenced the formation of products. It was considered that carbon dioxide formed on the oxidized nickel sites(Ni O)and carbon monoxide produced on the reduced sites(Ni). The surface states of active metal in the dynamic were influenced both by the size of Ni core and the porosity of silica shell. However, the catalytic activity would be debased when the size of Ni core was under a certain extent,which can be ascribed to the fact the carbon deposition increased with the increasing content of Ni O. 20Comparison of four clinical scores for the predicting lower limb deep venous thrombosis in Chinese patients显示文摘Objective:To evaluate Wells,Kahn,St.Andréand Constans scores for the prediction of deep venous thrombosis in Chinese patients. Methods:One hundred and seventy-two patients,prospectively,blinded referred for evaluation with four clinical-score systems for suspected deep venous thrombosis,were examined by ultrasonography. Sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,nega-tive predictive value and receiver operation curves were calculated for four clinical scores. The difference between areas of the ROC curve for each of the scores was compared with others and reference line. Results:Forty-six of 172 patients had deep venous throm-bosis proven by sonography. The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value for Wells score was 91.3%,57.1%,43.8% and 94.7%,respectively,for Kahn score; 65.2%,71.4%,45.5% and 84.9%,respectively,for St.Andréscore; 63%,38.9%,27.4% and 74.2% respectively,for Constans score; 95.7%,34.9%,34.9% and 95.7% respectively. Area under ROV curve of Constans score was 0.814,which was similar to that of Wells score,then followed by Kahn score and that of St.Andréscore was no difference with the reference line. Conclusion:Based on the results of our study,the sensitivity,negative prediction value and area under ROC curve are larger for Constans score and Wells score in Chinese hospitalized patients than that of Kahn score or St.Andréscore.
