| 1 | Spectral Efficiency and Power Allocation for Mixed-ADC Massive MIMO System显示文摘This paper investigates the achievable uplink spectral efficiency(SE) of a massive multi-input multi-output(MIMO) system with a mixed analog-to-digital converter(ADC) receiver architecture, in which some antennas are equipped with full-resolution ADCs while others are deployed with low-resolution ADCs. We derive the theoretical results and corresponding approximate expressions of the achievable SE in multi-cell systems with maximum ratio combining(MRC) detector and in single-cell systems with zero-forcing(ZF) detector. Based on approximated results, the effects of physical parameters, including the transmit power, the number of antennas, the proportion of full-resolution ADCs and the quantization precision of the low-resolution ADCs on the achievable SE are revealed. Furthermore, we propose the power allocation algorithms based on the lower bound and upper bound of approximate achievable SE. Our results show that the total achievable SE improves by increasing the number of BS antennas, the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), and the quantization precision. | 2 | Nb2C MXene-Functionalized Scaffolds Enables Osteosarcoma Phototherapy and Angiogenesis/Osteogenesis of Bone Defects显示文摘Early surgical resection and chemotherapy of bone cancer are commonly used in the treatment of bone tumor,but it is still highly challenging to prevent recurrence and fill the bone defect caused by the resection site.In this work,we report a rational integration of photonic-responsive two-dimensional(2D)ultrathin niobium carbide(Nb2C)MXene nanosheets(NSs)into the 3D-printed bone-mimetic scaffolds(NBGS)for osteosarcoma treatment.The integrated 2D Nb2C-MXene NSs feature specific photonic response in the second near-infrared(NIR-II)biowindow with high tissue-penetrating depth,making it highly efficient in killing bone cancer cells.Importantly,Nb-based species released by the biodegradation of Nb2C MXene can obviously promote the neogenesis and migration of blood vessels in the defect site,which can transport more oxygen,vitamins and energy around the bone defect for the reparative process,and gather more immune cells around the defect site to accelerate the degradation of NBGS.The degradation of NBGS provides sufficient space for the bone remodeling.Besides,calcium and phosphate released during the degradation of the scaffold can promote the mineralization of new bone tissue.The intrinsic multifunctionality of killing bone tumor cell and promoting angiogenesis and bone regeneration makes the engineered Nb2C MXeneintegrated composite scaffolds a distinctive implanting biomaterial on the efficient treatment of bone tumor. | Junhui Yin Shanshan Pan Xiang Guo Youshui Gao Daoyu Zhu Qianhao Yang Junjie Gao Changqing Zhang Yu Chen | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,2: | 5 |

| 4 | Nanohole array structured GaN-based white LEDs with improved modulation bandwidth via plasmon resonance and non-radiative energy transfer显示文摘Commercial white LEDs (WLEDs) are generally limited in modulation bandwidth due to a slow Stokes process,long lifetime of phosphors,and the quantum-confined Stark effect. Here we report what we believe is a novel plasmonic WLED by infiltrating a nanohole LED (H-LED) with quantum dots (QDs) and Ag nanoparticles(NPs) together (M-LED). This decreased distance between quantum wells and QDs would open an extra non-radiative energy transfer channel and thus enhance Stokes transfer efficiency. The presence of Ag NPs enhances the spontaneous emission rate significantly. Compared to an H-LED filled with QDs (QD-LED),the optimized M-LED demonstrates a maximum color rendering index of 91.2,a 43% increase in optical power at 60 m A,and a lowered correlated color temperature. Simultaneously,the M-LED exhibits a data rate of 2.21 Gb/s at low current density of 96 A∕cm2(60 m A),which is 77% higher than that of a QD-LED. | 6 | Vertical Profiles of Volatile Organic Compounds in Suburban Shanghai显示文摘As Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)are one of the precursors of ozone,their distribution and variable concentrations are highly related to local ozone pollution control.In this study,we obtained vertical profiles of VOCs in Shanghai’s Jinshan district on 8 September and 9 September in 2016 to investigate their distribution and impact on local atmospheric oxidation in the near surface layer.Vertical samples were collected from heights between 50 m and 400 m by summa canisters using an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV).Concentrations of VOCs(VOCs refers to the 52 species measured in this study)varied minimally below 200 m,and decreased by 21.2%from 100 m to 400 m.The concentrations of VOCs above 200 m decreased significantly in comparison to those below 200 m.The proportions of alkanes and aromatics increased from 55.2%and 30.5%to 57.3%and 33.0%,respectively.Additionally,the proportion of alkenes decreased from 13.2%to 8.4%.Toluene and m/p-xylene were the key species in the formation of SOA and ozone.Principal component analysis(PCA)revealed that the VOCs measured in this study mainly originated from industrial emissions. | Yuhan LIU Hongli WANG Shengao JING Ming ZHOU Shenrong LOU Kun QU Wanyi QIU Qian WANG Shule LI Yaqin GAO Yusi LIU Xiaobing LI Zhong-Ren PENG Junhui CHEN Keding LU | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,7: | 1 |

| 11 | A Prototype for Diagnosis of Psoriasis in Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘Psoriasis is a chronic,non-communicable,painful,disfiguring and disabling disease for which there is no cure,with great negative impact on patients’quality of life(QoL).Diagnosis and treatment with traditional Chinese medical technique based on syndrome differentiation has been used in practice for a long time and proven effective,though,up to now,there are only a few available studies about the use of semantic technologies and the knowledge systems that use Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)-syndrome differentiation for information retrieval and automated reasoning.In this paper we use semantic techniques based on ontologies to develop a prototypical system for the diagnosis of Psoriasis.For this purpose,a domain ontology is developed for syndrome differentiation of psoriasis vulgaris(PV).This ontology is founded on an adapted version of the general formal ontology(GFO),with the evidence-based clinical practice guideline of TCM for psoriasis vulgaris(Guideline 2013)as the primary data sources.The implemented prototype,called ONTOPV,contains this domain ontology and is aimed at a decision support system for diagnosis and treatment of PV.This system uses a case-database for Case Based Reasoning(CBR),combined with fuzzy pattern recognition.Experimental results show that the ONTOPV realizes the basic functionalities of data collection,querying,browsing and navigation,and supports rule-based knowledge reasoning,and integrates fuzzy pattern recognition.It can provide users with clinical decision support for TCM syndrome differentiation in diagnosis of psoriasis. | Hai Long Zhe Wang Yidi Cui Junhui Wang Bo Gao Chao Chen Yan Zhu Heinrich Herre | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,12: | 1 |

| 13 | Selective separation of iron and scandium from Bayer Sc-bearing red mud显示文摘In this study,we investigated the separation of iron and scandium from Sc-bearing red mud.The red mud object of our study contained 31.11 wt%total iron(TFe),0.0045 wt%Sc,hematite(Fe_(2)O_(3))and ferrosilite(FeO·SiO_(2))as the main Fe-bearing minerals.The Sc-bearing red mud was treated by a novel deep reduction roasting and magnetic separation process that includes the addition of coke and CaO to extract Fe and enriching Sc from the Sc-bearing red mud.The addition of coke and CaO enhances the transformation of hematite(Fe_(2)O_(3))to metallic iron(Fe~0)and magnetite(Fe_(3)O_(4))as well as the transformation of ferrosilite into metallic iron(Fe~0).The test results show that utilizing the new process a Fe concentrate with a TFe content of 81.22 wt%and Fe recovery of 92.96%was obtained.Furthermore,magnetic separation tailings with Sc content of 0.0062 wt%and Sc recovery of 98.65%were also obtained.The test results were achieved under the following process conditions:roasting temperature of 1373 K,roasting time of 45 min,calcium oxide dosage of 20 wt%,coke dosage of 25 wt%,grinding fineness of90%<0.04 mm,and magnetic field intensity of 0.24 T.The major minerals in the Fe concentrate are metallic iron(Fe~0)and magnetite(Fe_(3)O_(4)).The main minerals in the magnetic separation tailings with a low TFe content of 2.62%are CaO·SiO_(2),Na_(2)O·SiO_(2),FeO·SiO_(2),Ca_(3)Fe_(2)Si_(3)O_(12),CaAl_(2)SiO_6 and CaFe(SiO_(3))_(2). | Junhui Xiao Kai Zou Nanlan Zhong Deqiang Gao | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,7: | 0 |

| 17 | Using portable falling weight deflectometer to determine treatment depth of subgrades in highway reconstruction of Southern China显示文摘Based on a highway reconstruction project in southern China,this study aims to put forward a method to determine the proper treatment depth of the existing subgrade.First,some field tests including the Beckman beam deflection test and portable falling weight deflectometer(PFWD)test were carried out.The results showed that there was a good correlation between the Beckman beam deflection(L)and PFWD modulus(Ep).Subsequently,a subgrade section was excavated and backfilled with cement-stabilized soil in layers.Compaction test,dynamic cone penetrometer rate test,plate load test and Beckman beam deflection test were performed to evaluate the treatment effect.To make sure,the subgrade was treated deeply enough,the Beckman beam deflection(L)was used as the controlled indicator among all the measured indexes for it was the hardest metric to meet.According to the design deflection and decreasing law of the measured deflections with the different number of the stabilized layers,the treatment depth was finally determined.As the PFWD test is superior to the deflection test in the detection efficiency,and the deflection value can be calculated from PFWD modulus by correlation formulas,thus the latter index can be used as a more suitable parameter for estimating the treatment depth instead of the former.Consequently,based on the measured PFWD moduli of the existing subgrade,six treatment schemes considering different treatment depths were proposed.It was confirmed that the method developed from this study is feasible and worth being extensively applied. | Junhui Zhang Le Ding Ling Zeng Qianfeng Gao Fan Gu | 2020 | Transportation Safety and Environment2020,2,1: | 0 |
