1Detection of K-ras gene mutation in fecal samples from elderly large intestinal cancer patients and its diagnostic significance显示文摘AIM:To study the diagnostic significance of K-ras gene mutations in fecal samples from elderly patients with large intestinal cancer.METHODS: DNA was extracted in the fecal and tissue samples from 23 large intestinal cancer patients, 20 colonic adenomatoid polypus patients and 20 healthy subjects. The K-ras gene mutations at the first and second bases of codon 12 were detected by the allele specific mismatch method.RESULTS: The K-ras gene mutation was 56.52%(13/23) in the large intestinal cancer patients, which was notably higher than that in the normal subjects whose K-ras gene mutation was 5%(1/20) (x^2=12.93, P<0.001). There was no significant difference in comparison with that of colonic adenomatoid polypus patients whose K-ras gene mutation was 30%(6/12)(x^2=3.05, P>0.05). The K-ras gene mutation at the second base of codon 12 was 92.13%(12/13) in the large intestinal cancer patients. There was no significant difference between the detection rate of K-ras gene mutation in the fecal and tissue samples (X^2=9.35, P<0.01).CONCLUSION:Our results indicate that detection of the K-ras gene mutations in fecal samples provides a non-invasive diagnostic method for the elderly large intestinal cancer patients. 6Pertussis toxin–induced inflammatory response exacerbates intracerebral haemorrhage and ischaemic stroke in mice显示文摘Background Stroke is a devastating disease,including intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)and ischaemic stroke.Emerging evidences indicate that systemic inflammatory cascades after stroke contribute to brain damage.However,the direct effects and features of systemic inflammation on brain injury,especially comparing between ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke,are still obscure.Methods Pertussis toxin(PT)was used to build a pro-inflammatory milieu after ICH and ischaemic stroke in mouse model.The neurodeficits,stroke lesion,immune response and blood–brain barrier(BBB)destruction were assessed.Results In ICH mouse model,PT-induced systemic inflammation exacerbated neurological deficits,and enlarged haemorrhage lesion and perihaematomal oedema.We also found promoted leucocyte infiltration and inflammatory cytokine release into the brain after PT treatment.Moreover,the integrity of the BBB was further disrupted after receiving PT.Furthermore,we demonstrated that PT enhanced brain inflammation and aggravated stroke severity in middle cerebral artery occlusion mouse model.Conclusions Our results suggest that PT increases inflammatory response that exacerbates brain injury after ICH or ischaemic stroke in mouse model.Ming Zou Yan Feng Yuwhen Xiu Yan Li Ying Zhang Junwan Fan Haowen Li Jingli Cao Wenyan He Wei-Na Jin 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,1:1

15Properties and Structure of PEO Treated Aluminum Alloy显示文摘Plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)coatings were formed on 7075 aluminum alloy in silicate-borate based electrolyte with different duty cycles.The physical and chemical properties of the PEO coatings were thoroughly investigated.The wearing and corrosion properties of the coatings were evaluated by wearing experiments and potentiodynamic polarization tests,respectively.The results showed that the micro-hardness of the coatings first increased and then decreased with the increasing duty cycle.As a results,the wearing resistance of the coatings first increased and then decreased with the increasing duty cycle.Composition analysis proved that the coatings were mainly composed ofα-Al_(2)O_(3)andγ-Al_(2)O_(3).The presence of wear scars on the worn surface morphology demonstrates that the three-body rolling was the main wear mechanism for coated specimen.The corrosion study showed that the coating formed in the mixed electrolyte with duty cycle of 80%showed the most superior corrosion resistance.施渊吉 WANG Yanyan CHENG Cheng 郭训忠 TENG Bingyan YU Zhaopeng LI Junwan LI Wei 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,3:0
16X—ray reflectivity measurement of δ—doped erbium profile in silicon molecular—beam epitaxial layer显示文摘Synchrontron radiation x-ray reflectivity measurement is used to study the concentration profile of a δ-doped Er layer in Si epitaxial film grown by molecular-beam epitaxy.The oscillation of the reflectivity amplitude as a function of reflection angle is observed in the experiment.By doing a theoretical simulation.the concentration profile of Er atoms could be deried.It is shown that the originally grown δ-doped Er layer changes into an expionentially decayed function due to the Er segregation.The temperature dependence of the 1/e decay length indicates that the segregation is a kinetically limited process.The activation energy is determined to be 0.044±0.005eV.JunWan Q.J.Jia1999同步辐射装置用户科技论文集1999,,1:0
17Characterizing scientific elites:publication and citation patterns of outstanding scientists in biomedicine显示文摘Science is principally driven by the efforts of a small fraction of researchers publishing the m ajority of scientific research and garnering the m ajority of citations.The quantitative analysis of outstanding scientists’publication and citation patterns provides a new perspective fo r understanding of scientific talents.The study of outstanding scientists can enhance our understanding of the publication and citation patterns and their scientific careers more generally.Based on 35,315 research papers from the biomedical field,we analyzed the academic productivity and influence characteristics of 244 outstanding scientists in biomedical field.Several interesting patterns are observed as follows:as outstanding scientists’career age increased,(1)their scientific output shows a trend of decreasing after increasing,(2)their academic influence shows a trend of continuous growth,(3)their number of the co-authors in their scientific career first increases and then remains stable,and(4)the number of their research areas first decreases and then increases.Junwan Liu Chenchen Huang Xiaofei Guo Yilin Wang Rui Wang Lixin Xie 2022Data Science and Informetrics2022,2,1:0
