1Injectable peptide hydrogel as intraperitoneal triptolide depot for the treatment of orthotopic hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Chemotherapy is among the limited choices approved for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) at intermediate and advanced stages. Preferential and prolonged drug exposure in diseased sites is required to maximize the therapeutic index of the drug. Here, we report an injectable supramolecular peptide hydrogel as an intraperitoneal depot for localized and sustained release of triptolide for the treatment of orthotopic HCC. We chose peptide amphiphile C16-GNNQQNYKD-OH-based nanofibers as gelators and carriers for triptolide. Sustained triptolide release from the hydrogel was achieved over 14 days in vitro, with higher accumulation in and cytotoxicity against human HCC Bel-7402 in comparison with L-02 fetal hepatocytes. After intraperitoneal injection, the hydrogel showed prolonged retention over 13 days and preferential accumulation in the liver, realizing HCC growth inhibition by99.7 ± 0.1% and animal median survival extension from 19 to 43 days, without causing noticeable pathological changes in the major organs. 3Data-Driven Discovery of Stochastic Differential Equations显示文摘Stochastic differential equations(SDEs)are mathematical models that are widely used to describe complex processes or phenomena perturbed by random noise from different sources.The identification of SDEs governing a system is often a challenge because of the inherent strong stochasticity of data and the complexity of the system’s dynamics.The practical utility of existing parametric approaches for identifying SDEs is usually limited by insufficient data resources.This study presents a novel framework for identifying SDEs by leveraging the sparse Bayesian learning(SBL)technique to search for a parsimonious,yet physically necessary representation from the space of candidate basis functions.More importantly,we use the analytical tractability of SBL to develop an efficient way to formulate the linear regression problem for the discovery of SDEs that requires considerably less time-series data.The effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated using real data on stock and oil prices,bearing variation,and wind speed,as well as simulated data on well-known stochastic dynamical systems,including the generalized Wiener process and Langevin equation.This framework aims to assist specialists in extracting stochastic mathematical models from random phenomena in the natural sciences,economics,and engineering fields for analysis,prediction,and decision making.Yasen Wang Huazhen Fang Junyang Jin Guijun Ma Xin He Xing Dai Zuogong Yue Cheng Cheng Hai-Tao Zhang Donglin Pu Dongrui Wu Ye Yuan Jorge Gonçalves Jürgen Kurths Han Ding 2022Engineering2022,,10:1
4Modulation of Microstructure and Charge Transport in Polymer Monolayer Transistors by Solution Aging显示文摘A few monolayers of organic semiconductors adjacent to the dielectric layer are of vital importance in organic field-effect transistors due to their dominant role in charge transport.In this report,the 2-nm-thick polymer monolayers based on poly(3-hexylthiophene)with different molecular weights(M_(n))were fabricated using dip-coating technique.During the monolayer(solid state)formation from the solution,a disorder-to-order transition of polymer conformation is observed through UV-vis absorption measurement.Meanwhile,high Mn polymer monolayer generates higher crystalline fibrillar microstructure than the low Mn one due to the strongerπ–πintermolecular packing between polymers.More importantly,the solution aging procedure is utilized to further improve the morphology of polymer monolayers.It is obvious that after aging for 6 d,both fiber dimension and density as well as conjugation length are significantly increased under the same processing conditions in comparison to the fresh solution,and consequently the field-effect mobilities are remarkably enhanced by 2—4 times.Note that the maximum mobility of 0.027 cm2·V^(–1)·s^(–1)is among the highest reported values for poly(3-hexylthiophene)monolayer transistors.These results demonstrate a simple but powerful strategy for boosting the device performance of polymer monolayer transistors.Xuemei Lin Ruochen Liu Chenming Ding Junyang Deng Yifu Guo Shibing Long Ling Li Mengmeng Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,11:0
5Bimetallic AgNi nanoparticles anchored onto MOF-derived nitrogen-doped carbon nanostrips for efficient hydrogen evolution显示文摘Hydrogen energy has long been recognized as a clean alternative to conventional fossil fuels,which can be applied in a wide range of transportation and power generation applications.The rational design and engineering of high-performance and robust catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)shows not a great significance but a challenge for efficient electrochemical water splitting.Herein,a new type of Nibased Ni-ABDC precursor has been obtained,which leads to the formation of N-doped porous carbon nanomaterials uniformly coated with wellproportioned bimetallic AgNi alloys via a stepwise strategy.To their credit,all samples of AgNi/NC-X are structurally calcined from the pristine AgNi-ABDC-X by tuning the different concentration of AgNO3,which means all of them maintain the vermicelli-like morphology compared with Ni-ABDC.The series of AgNi/NC-X materials can be regarded as effective electrocatalysts for HER both in acidic and alkaline media,but an acid-leaching phenomenon is observed.Among them,the as-prepared AgNi/NC-2 exhibits a low overpotential of 103 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)and decent durability with a high retention rate of 90.9%after 10 h in 1.0 mol L^(-1)KOH electrolyte.The compelling HER properties of AgNi/NC-2 can be attributed to the synergistic effect between the hierarchical carbon materials,partial N-doping and abundant AgNi alloys.Meanwhile,this study provides a practicable method for the development of efficient HER electrocatalysts for energy applications,which can be conveniently prepared through the reasonable introduction of active components in the crystalline inorganic-organic precursors.©2021 Institute of Process Engineering,Chinese Academy of Sciences.Publishing services by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of KeAi Communications Co.,Ltd.This is an open access article under the CC BY-NC-ND license(http://gffzzeb6f7f563f66445dhv65xqukuwf656kq9.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/).Dandan Chen Cheng Han Qiuhong Sun Junyang Ding Qi Huang Ting-Ting Li Yue Hu Jinjie Qian Shaoming Huang 2023Green Energy & Environment2023,8,1:0
6Gold mineralization in Jiaodong Peninsula and destruction of North China Craton:Insights from Mesozoic granite显示文摘Large-scale tectonic magmatism and extensive gold mineralization have occurred in the eastern North China Craton(NCC)(Jiaodong and Liaodong peninsulas)since Mesozoic,which indicated that the region experienced decratonization process.The genesis type of granites evolved from S-type to I-type and A-type during Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous,and thus reflects the evolution of geodynamics in the Late Mesozoic,indicating the varied subduction process of the Paleo-Pacific Plate(PPP)and the craton destruction.The evolution of geochemical features shows that the mantle beneath the Jiaodong Peninsula evolved from EM-II in Jurassic to EM-I in Early Cretaceous,demonstrating that the mantle switched from enriched to depleted.The gold of decratonic gold deposits in Jiaodong Peninsula mainly comes from the lithospheric mantle domains metasomatized by fluids derived from the metamorphism and dehydration of the subducted slab in the mantle transition zone.The rapid decomposition of minerals leads to the concentrated release of ore-forming fluids,and this process leads to the explosive gold mineralization during the craton destruction.Extensive magmatic uplift and extensional structures,triggered by the craton destruction in Early Cretaceous formed the extensional tectonic system,providing space for the decratonic gold deposits in Jiaodong Peninsula.WANG Bin ZHOU Jianbo DING Zhengjiang ZHAO Tiqun SONG Mingchun BAO Zhongyi LYU Junyang XU Shaohui YAN Chunming LIU Xiangdong LIU Jialiang 2023Global Geology2023,26,2:0
