| 3 | Peripheral Lymphocyte Subsets as a Marker of Parkinson's Disease in a Chinese Population显示文摘In this study, we conducted a clinical analysis of lymphocyte subtypes in 268 patients with Parkinson's disease(PD) to assess their clinical impact as a potential marker of advanced PD in Chinese patients. The participants comprised 268 sporadic PD patients and 268 healthy controls. The numbers of natural killer(NK) cells and CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+, and CD19+ lymphocytes from peripheral blood were determined by immunostaining and flow cytometric analysis and the percentages of these CD+ T cells were calculated. The ratio of regulatory T(Treg)/helper T 17(Th17) lymphocytes from 64 PD patients and 46 controls was determined by flow cytometric analysis.The results showed that the percentage of NK cells was higher in advanced PD patients than in controls(22.92% ±10.08% versus 19.76% ± 10.09%, P = 0.006), while CD3+ T cells are decreased(62.93% ± 9.27% versus65.75% ± 9.13%, P = 0.005). The percentage of CD19+B cells in male patients was lower(P = 0.021) than in female patients, whereas NK cells were increased(P \ 0.0001). The scores on the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS) and the Non-Motor Symptoms Scale in late-onset PD patients were significantly higher than those in earlyonset patients(P = 0.024 and P = 0.007, respectively). The percentage of CD19+ B cells in patients with UPDRS scores[24 was lower than in those with scores \24(10.17% ±4.19% versus 12.22% ± 5.39%, P = 0.009). In addition, the Treg/Th17 ratio in female patients was higher than that in female controls(13.88 ± 6.32 versus 9.94 ± 4.06, P =0.042). | 5 | Target-tracked prioritization to surveille ballistic missiles显示文摘The missile-tracked priority assessment for the early warning system monitoring multi-missile very well, is the first task to defend them and useful to perform optimally the sensor-to-missile assignment. The problem of the missile-tracked priority assessment is of incomplete information, of multi-attribute and dynamic. To solve the dificult problem, the index system, which includes six classification indices, is established by means of reducing the target's primary information which the early warning system focuses on. The lack of some attributes values, which is caused by the incomplete information, is handled by the approach: first classifying each attribute as unknown one or known one, and then subdividing the latter, last using the expectation and the information entropy if the attribute is known but uncertain. With a view of reality, nine qualitative evaluation criteria are given. Based on them each index is quantified by the eigenvector method. | 7 | Privacy-Preserving Prepayment Based Power Request and Trading in Smart Grid显示文摘Demand response has been intensively studied in recent years. It can motivate customers to change their consumption patterns according to the dynamic(time-varying) electricity price, which is considered to be the most cost-effective and reliable solution for smoothing the demand curve. However, many existing schemes, based on users' demand request in each period, require users to consume their requested electricity exactly, which sometimes causes inconvenience and losses to the utility, because customers cannot always be able to consume the accurate electricity demand due to various personal reasons. In this paper, we tackle this problem in a novel approach. Instead of charging after consumption, we adopt the prepayment mechanism to implement power request. Furthermore, we propose a trading market running by the control center to cope with the users' dynamic demand. It is noteworthy that both users' original demand and trading records are protected against potential adversaries including the curious control center. | 10 | Morphological, Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Poly(lactic acid)(PLA)/Cellulose Nanofibrils(CNF) Composites Nanofiber for Tissue Engineering显示文摘Composite nanofiber membranes based on biodegradable poly(lactic acid)(PLA) and cellulose nanofibrils(CNF) were produced via electrospinning. The influence of CNF content on the morphology, thermal properties, and mechanical properties of PLA/CNF composite nanofiber membranes were characterized by field scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), and dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA), respectively. The results show that the PLA/CNF composite nanofibers with smooth, free-bead surface can be successfully fabricated with various CNF contents. The introduction of CNF is an effective approach to improve the crystalline ability, thermal stability and mechanical properties for PLA/CNF composite fibers. The Young's moduli and tensile strength of the PLA/CNF composite nanofiber reach 106.6 MPa and 2.7 MPa when the CNF content is 3%, respectively, which are one times higher and 1.5 times than those of pure PLA nanofiber. Herein, an effective interface engineering strategy is reported, wherein nitriding of an Ni-based precursor is controlled to enhance Li-S cell regulation. The resulting in-situ formed NiO-Ni_(3)N heterostructure interface not only has a stronger polysulfide adsorption effect than that of monomeric NiO or Ni_(3)N but also has a faster Li ion diffusion ability than a simple physical mixture. More importantly, this approach couples the respective advantages of NiO and Ni_(3)N to reduce polarization and facilitate electron transfer during polysulfide reactions and synergistically catalyze polysulfide conversion. | 14 | A two-step unconditionally stable explicit method with controllable numerical dissipations显示文摘A family of unconditionally stable direct integration algorithm with controllable numerical dissipations is proposed. The numerical properties of the new algorithms are controlled by three parameters α, β and γ. By the consistent and stability analysis, the proposed algorithms achieve the second-order accuracy and are unconditionally stable under the condition that α≥-0.5, β≤ 0.5 and γ≥-(1+α)/2. Compared with other unconditionally stable algorithms, such as Chang's algorithms and CR algorithm, the proposed algorithms are found to be superior in terms of the controllable numerical damping ratios. The unconditional stability and numerical damping ratios of the proposed algorithms are examined by three numerical examples. | 18 | Construction of an easy-to-use predictive model for ultrasound-detected tophi to improve the detection of hidden tophi显示文摘Background:Musculoskeletal ultrasound is used in clinical practice to evaluate gout patients and is an effective imaging tool for the detection of tophi.The aim of this study was to analyze the factors associated with ultrasound-detected tophi in gout patients and to construct a clinical model to predict its occurrence and improve the detection of hidden tophi.Methods:Data of gout patients admitted to Beijing Jishuitan Hospital from January 2015 to December 2021 were collected.The complete and detailed information from gout cases with completed musculoskeletal ultrasound was included in the analysis.Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to identify independent factors associated with ultrasound-detected tophi.A nomogram was used to visualize the clinical predictive models.Results:Among 517 gout patients,rheumatologists found that 67 patients(13.0%)had subcutaneous tophi by visual observation,while musculoskeletal ultrasound revealed that 123 patients(23.8%)had ultrasound-detected tophi with odds ratio[OR](95%confidence intervals[CIs])=2.20(1.81-2.67).Disease duration,upper limb joint flare(ULJF),persistent joint pain(PJP),uric acid,and homocysteine levels were independently associated with ultrasounddetected tophi,and they had ORs(95%CIs)of 1.092(1.050-1.136),3.732(2.312-6.025),1.864(1.086-3.200),1.003(1.001-1.004),and 1.015(1.000-1.030),respectively.After balancing the complexity and accuracy of the model,Model 2(incorporating disease duration,ULJF,PJP,and uric acid)was chosen to create a nomogram to predict the occurrence of ultrasound-detected tophi.The nomogram had good discrimination(consistency index[C-index]=0.774)and excellent calibration,demonstrated by calibration curves.Conclusion:Using easily available indicators,such as disease duration,the nature of the joint pain,and uric acid levels,we successfully developed an easy-to-use clinical model to improve the detection of hidden tophi. | Wei Liu Wen Guo Kaiping Zhao Qiang Zang Husheng Wu Siliang Man Hongchao Li Liang Zhang Hui Song | 2023 | Rheumatology & Autoimmunity2023,3,3: | 0 |

| 20 | Vibration and Acoustic Response of Sandwich Panels with Flexible Core Under Thermal Environments显示文摘Sandwich panels are increasingly used in the aerospace industry in recent years. Aircrafts are always affected by the thermal and noise environment during their life in service. Analytical studies on the sound vibration response of the sandwich panels with flexible core under thermal environments are performed in the paper. Governing equations are obtained by applying Hamilton 's principle with both anti-symmetric and symmetric motions taken into consideration. Natural frequencies,mode shape and critical temperature are acquired with thermal stresses considered. The forced vibration response and sound radiation are obtained based on the mode superposition principle and the Rayleigh integral. The model is validated compared with the results in literature. Natural frequencies for both anti-symmetric and symmetric motions decrease with temperature rise.Lower order flexural mode and higher-order dilatational mode are sensitive to the temperature change. Symmetric motion induces the anti-resonance frequencies move to the low frequency range.
