| 3 | Improved corrosion resistance and thermal stability of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets with holmium substitution显示文摘The effects of Ho substitution for Nd on the microstructure, corrosion resistance and thermal stability of the Nd-Fe-B magnets were investigated. The(Nd,Ho)-O phase was formed with increasing Ho substitution. The results of potentiodynamic polarization and highly accelerated stress test show improved corrosion resistance with increasing Ho substitution. The optimum mass loss 0.29 mg/cm^2 is achieved.Moreover, the average temperature coefficients for remanence and coercivity in the range of 25-150℃are both closer to zero, indicating improved thermal stability. | 4 | Cordycepin inhibits pancreatic cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo via targeting FGFR2 and blocking ERK signaling显示文摘Cordycepin(3′-deoxyadenosine) from Cordyceps militaris has been reported to have anti-tumor effects. However, the molecular target and mechanism underlying cordycepin impeding pancreatic cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo remain vague. In this study, we reported functional target molecule of cordycepin which inhibited pancreatic cancer cells growth in vitro and in vivo.Cordycepin was confirmed to induce apoptosis by activating caspase-3, caspase-9 and cytochrome c. Further studies suggested that MAPK pathway was blocked by cordycepin via inhibiting the expression of Ras and the phosphorylation of Erk. Moreover, cordycepin caused S-phase arrest and DNA damage associated with activating Chk2(checkpoint kinase 2) pathway and downregulating cyclin A2 and CDK2 phosphorylation. Very interestingly, we showed that cordycepin could bind to FGFR2(KD = 7.77 × 10-9) very potently to inhibit pancreatic cancer cells growth by blocking Ras/Er K pathway. | 5 | 3D C_f/SiBCN composites prepared by an improved polymer infiltration and pyrolysis显示文摘Using liquid poly(methylvinyl)borosilazanes(PMVBSZ)as precursor,carbon fiber reinforced SiBCN matrix composites(C_f/SiBCN)were fabricated by a modified polymer infiltration and pyrolysis(PIP)process.With dicumyl peroxide added as cross-linking agent,the PMVBSZ could be solidified at a low temperature of 120℃,leading to a high ceramic yield of~70%.The cross-linking mechanism and ceramization processes of the precursor were investigated in detail.Moreover,a modified infiltration technology was developed,which improved the efficiency and protected the precursor against moist air during PIP.Consequently,the obtained C_f/SiBCN composites had an oxygen content of around 1.22 wt%.Benefiting from the high ceramic yield and high efficiency of the modified PIP,C_f/SiBCN composites with an open porosity of~10%and uniform microstructure were obtained after only 7 cycles of PIP.The flexural strength and fracture toughness of the derived C_f/SiBCN composites were 371 MPa and 12.9 MPa·m^(1/2),respectively.This work provides a potential route for the fabrication of high performance C_f/SiBCN composites. | Qi DING Dewei NI Zhen WANG Hao ZHONG Hongda WANG Haijun ZHOU Yanmei KAN Shaoming DONG | 2018 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2018,7,3: | 9 |

| 7 | Promoted effect of zinc–nickel bimetallic oxides supported on HZSM-5 catalysts in aromatization of methanol显示文摘Zn/ZSM-5(NZ2) and Zn/Ni/ZSM-5(NZ3) as the catalysts for methanol to aromatics(MTA) were synthesized by a simple ultrasonic impregnation. The textural and acid properties of all catalysts were characterized using XRD, HRTEM, NH_3-TPD, Py-IR, XPS, XRF and TG techniques. The XRD and HRTEM results showed that the basic zeolite structures were not affected much with the incorporation of Zn and Ni species. However, great changes have taken place in acid properties. The Py-IR and XPS results indicated that the Zn-Lewis acid sites(ZnOH^+ species), which have stronger interaction with the zeolite framework compared with ZnO species, were generated at the expense of B acid sites with the incorporation of zinc species. Moreover, the product analysis results showed that the incorporation of zinc species promoted the primary aromatization by enhancing the dehydroaromatization and suppressing the cracking and subsequent H-transfer reaction. Furthermore, the addition of Ni species well inhibited the loss of zinc species by converting partial ZnO species to ZnOH^+ species, and thus improved the aromatization activity and catalyst stability. The catalytic performance results showed that the NZ3 possess higher conversion of methanol in a longer time and lower average rate of coke formation compared with NZ2. | 9 | Effi cacy and safety of low-dose corticosteroids for acute respiratory distress syndrome:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘BACKGROUND:There are confl icting results regarding whether corticosteroids have better effi cacy than placebo in acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)patients.Therefore,we aim to further evaluate the effi cacy and safety of corticosteroids in adult ARDS patients.METHODS:The databases,including Medline,EMBASE,and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL)in the Cochrane Library,were searched from their inception to May 2,2020.Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)and observational cohort studies were selected to assess the use of corticosteroids in adult ARDS patients.The quality of the results was judged by the Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)methodology.The inverse-variance method with random or fixed effects modeling was used to compute pooled odds ratio(OR),standardized mean diff erence(SMD),and their 95%confi dence interval(CI).RESULTS:Eight eligible RCTs and six cohort studies were included.The use of corticosteroids was associated with reduced mortality(OR 0.57,95%CI 0.43-0.76,I2=35.1%,P=0.148)in ARDS patients,and the result was confirmed in the included cohort studies(OR 0.51,95%CI 0.27-0.95,I2=66.7%,P=0.010).The subgroup analysis stratified by the initiation time and duration of corticosteroid use showed that early ARDS and prolonged corticosteroid use had signifi cant survival benefits in the RCTs.The low-dose corticosteroid use was also associated with significantly more ventilator-free days and a reduced rate of new infections in ARDS patients.CONCLUSIONS:The low-dose corticosteroid therapy may be safe and reduce mortality,especially in patients with prolonged treatment and early ARDS. | Yu-qing Cui Xian-fei Ding Huo-yan Liang Dong Wang Xiao-juan Zhang Li-feng Li Quan-cheng Kan Le-xin Wang Tong-wen Sun | 2021 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2021,12,3: | 6 |
| 10 | Functional Metabolomics Reveals that Astragalus Polysaccharides Improve Lipids Metabolism through Microbial Metabolite 2-Hydroxybutyric Acid in Obese Mice显示文摘Polysaccharides are widely present in herbs with multiple activities,especially immunity regulation and metabolic benefits for metabolic disorders.However,the underlying mechanisms are not well under-stood.Functional metabolomics is increasingly used to investigate systemic effects on the host by iden-tifying metabolites with particular functions.This study explores the mechanisms underlying the metabolic benefits of Astragalus polysaccharides(APS)by adopting a functional metabolomics strategy.The effects of APS were determined in eight-week high-fat diet(HFD)-fed obese mice.Then,gas chromatography–time-of-flight mass spectrometry(GC–TOFMS)-based untargeted metabolomics was performed for an analysis of serum and liver tissues,and liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrom-etry(LC–MS/MS)-based targeted metabolomics was performed.The potential functions of the metabo-lites were tested with in vitro and in vivo models of metabolic disorders.Our results first confirmed the metabolic benefits of APS in obese mice.Then,metabolomics analysis revealed that APS supplemen-tation reversed the HFD-induced metabolic changes,and identified 2-hydroxybutyric acid(2-HB)as a potential functional metabolite for APS activity that was significantly decreased by a HFD and reversed by APS.Further study indicated that 2-HB inhibited oleic acid(OA)-induced triglyceride(TG)accumula-tion.It was also found to stimulate the expression of proteins in lipid degradation in hepatocytes and TG lipolysis in 3T3-L1 cells.Moreover,it was found to reduce serum TG and regulate the proteins involved in lipid degradation in high-fat and high-sucrose(HFHS)-fed mice.In conclusion,our study demonstrates that the metabolic benefits of APS are at least partially due to 2-HB generation,which modulated lipid metabolism both in vitro and in vivo.Our results also highlight that functional metabolomics is practical for investigating the mechanism underlying the systemic benefits of plant polysaccharides. | Bingbing Li Ying Hong Yu Gu Shengjie Ye Kaili Hu Jian Yao Kan Ding Aihua Zhao Wei Jia Houkai Li | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,2: | 6 |

| 12 | Studies of the intestinal absorption of the alkaloids in the Wu-tou decoction combined with different incompatible medicinal herbs in a Caco-2 cell culture system using UPLC-MS/MS显示文摘In this study,seven alkaloids were detected in Wu-tou decoction using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS').The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus,Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbils,Pinelliae Rhizoma in different ratios with Wu-tou decoction(2:1,1:1,1:2) by measuring the therapeutic effects in Wu-tou decoction of main seven alkaloids including benzoylaconitine(BA),benzoylmesaconitine(BM),benzoylhypaconitine(BH),hypaconitine(HA),fuziline(FU),niaolin(NE) and deoxyaconitine(DA).The permeability of aconitum alkaloids extract through a Caco-2 cell monolayer was analyzed in the absence and presence of Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus,Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus,and Pinelliae Rhizoma,respectively.The results showed that Pinelliae Rhizoma could reduce the absorption of the alkaloids and increase the excretion of the alkaloids,which would attenuate the therapeutic effects of Wu-tou decoction.Therefore.Pinelliae Rhizoma is an incompatible herb of Wu-tou decoction because of the inhibition of the absorption of alkaloids in the intestine.And that Fritillariae Cirrhosae Bulbus and Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus showed the effects to improve the permeability of the alkaloids in Wu-tou decoction.These effects of these two herbs were similar,but the former was stronger than the latter,which most likely is clue to the fact that the compositions of these two traditional Chinese medicines are similar.The in vitro data suggests that the compounds such as fritillary presented in alkaloids in the formula maybe improve the therapeutic function caused by the increased bioavailability of alkaloids in intestine. | Hong Kan Wen-Yue Jiang Ru Ding Zhong-Ying Liu Zi-Feng Pi Zhi-Qiang Liu | 2015 | Chinese Chemical Letters2015,26,5: | 5 |
| 13 | Design and test of 4ZZ-4A2 full-hydraulic self-propelled jujube harvester显示文摘The cultivated area of jujube in Xinjiang has increased rapidly in recent years.While the jujube harvest by hand has the shortage of high labor intensity,low efficiency and high labor cost,in addition,the harvesting machinery applying to dwarf and dense planting mode of jujubes is unavailable in Xinjiang.The 4ZZ-4A2 based on the full-hydraulic self-propelled jujube harvester was designed to solve the above problems.The harvester was mainly composed of a frame,a vibrating device,a jujube collecting and conveying device,an air separation device,a steering system,a hydraulic system and a jujube suction device and was capable of completing vibration,collection,conveying,cleaning and sundries removal work of jujubes through one step.The jujubes dropped on the ground were picked up at the same time.The AMESim simulation software was adopted to perform simulation analysis on the overall hydraulic system.The results showed that the speed of the vibrating motor was stable at about 650 r/min(the corresponding vibration frequency is 10.83 Hz)with the torque of 80 N·m,the speed of the conveyor motor was stable at 77 r/min with the torque of 77 N·m;the speed of the fan motor was stable at 54 r/min with the torque of 53.6 N·m;the speed of the walking motor fluctuated around 100 r/min with the torque of about 1000 N·m;the hydraulic steering system responded rapidly and could satisfy the actual working requirements of the jujube harvester.The jujube garden test results showed that the harvester could reach to the optimum harvesting effect when running at the speed of 0.5 m/s.Under such speed,the ground jujube picking rate was 45.1%,the tree jujube harvesting rate was 93.2%,the loss rate was 2.9%,and the damage rate was 0.9%.This study can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the jujube harvester. | Wei Fu Zhiyuan Zhang Kai Ding Weibin Cao Za Kan Junbing Pan Yudong Liu | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4: | 4 |

| 17 | Studies on the intestinal absorption of the alkaloids in the Gancaofuzi decoction in a Caco-2 cell culture system by UPLC–MS/MS analysis显示文摘In this study, the Caco-2 cell monolayer model was used to research the characteristic absorption and efflux of five diterpenoid alkaloids in Gancaofuzi decoction. An ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC–MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of the simulated intestinal transport of five diterpenoid alkaloids with reserpine as internal standard. The use of the apparent permeability coefficient(Papp) and efflux rate(Er) was instituted to evaluate the intestinal absorption of the alkaloids. Transport of the five alkaloids in Caco-2cell monolayer model was observed to better understand whether the intestinal absorption of alkaloids was influenced by the compatibility of four herbs in Gancaofuzi decoction. The results show that the Papp values of the five diterpenoid alkaloids were all more than 1 * 10^(-6)cm/s, confirming that the processes of permeability were valid. The flux of the alkaloids was time-dependent, and the intestinal absorption mechanism of the five alkaloids was mainly based on passive transport. The compatibility of Heishunpian, Baizhu, Guizhi and Gancao can reduce the intestinal absorption of alkaloids, especially the most toxic hypaconitine, and the attenuated effect of mixed herbal water extracts was better than that of different herbs' water extracts combination. | 18 | Joint elastic-electrical properties of sediments in the Yellow Sea显示文摘We measured in the laboratory compressional wave velocity and electrical resistivity on 434 sediment samples collected from the Yellow Sea to study the joint elastic-electrical properties of marine sediments. Porosity was found to reduce both elastic velocity and electrical resistivity of the marine sediments in a non-linear fashion; velocity showed an approximate linear increase with increasing logarithm of resistivity. Various effective medium models either implemented or developed were compared with the new dataset. The model results showed that the combined self-consistent approximation and differential effective medium model using critical porosity of 0.6 and 0.5 for velocity and resistivity respectively gave a reasonable description of the joint elastic-electrical behaviors of the marine sediments. | 20 | The molecular chaperone Hsp90 maintains Golgi organization and vesicular trafficking by regulating microtubule stability显示文摘Hsp90 is an abundant and special molecular chaperone considered to be the regulator of many transcription factors and signaling kinases. Its high abundance is indicative of its involvement in some more fundamental processes. In this study, we provide evidence that Hsp90 is required for microtubule stabilization, Golgi organization, and vesicular trafficking. We showed that Hsp90 is bound to microtubule-associated protein 4 (MAP4), which is essential for maintaining microtubule acetylation and stabilization. Hsp90 depletion led to the decrease in MAP4, causing microtubule deacetylation and destabilization. Furthermore, in Hsp90-depleted cells, the Golgi apparatus was fragmented and anterograde vesicle trafficking was impaired, with phenotypes similar to those induced by silencing MAP4. These disruptive effects of Hsp90 depletion could be rescued by the expression of exogenous MAP4 or the treatment of trichostatin A that increases microtubule acetylation as well as stability.
