1Analytical methodologies for determination of methotrexate and its metabolites in pharmaceutical,biological and environmental samples显示文摘Methotrexate(MTX)is a folate antagonist drug used for several diseases,such as cancers,various malignancies,rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and inflammatory bowel disease.Due to its structural features,including the presence of two carboxylic acid groups and its low native fluorescence,there are some challenges to develop analytical methods for its determination.MTX is metabolized to 7-hydroxymethotrexate(7-OH-MTX),2,4-diamino-N10-methylpteroic acid(DAMPA),and the active MTX polyglutamates(MTXPGs)in the liver,intestine,and red blood cells(RBCs),respectively.Additionally,the drug has a narrow therapeutic range;hence,its therapeutic drug monitoring(TDM)is necessary to regulate the pharmacokinetics of the drug and to decrease the risk of toxicity.Due to environmental toxicity of MTX;its sensitive,fast and low cost determination in workplace environments is of great interest.A large number of methodologies including high performance liquid chromatography equipped with UVevisible,fluorescence,or electrochemical detection,liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy,capillary electrophoresis,UVevisible spectrophotometry,and electrochemical methods have been developed for the quantitation of MTX and its metabolites in pharmaceutical,biological,and environmental samples.This paper will attempt to review several published methodologies and the instrumental conditions,which have been applied to measure MTX and its metabolites within the last decade.Forough Karami Sara Ranjbar Younes Ghasemi Manica Negahdaripour 2019Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2019,9,6:7
2Modeling habitat suitability of range plant species using random forest method in arid mountainous rangelands显示文摘Mountainous rangelands play a pivotal role in providing forage resources for livestock, particularly in summer, and maintaining ecological balance. This study aimed to identify environmental variables affecting range plant species distribution, ecological analysis of the relationship between these variables and the distribution of plants, and to model and map the plant habitats suitability by the Random Forest Method(RFM) in rangelands of the Taftan Mountain, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran. In order to determine the environmental variables and estimate the potential distribution of plant species, the presence points of plants were recorded by using systematic random sampling method(90 points of presence) and soils were sampled in 5 habitats by random method in 0–30 and 30–60 cm depths. The layers of environmental variables were prepared using the Kriging interpolation method and Geographic Information System facilities. The distribution of the plant habitats was finally modelled and mapped by the RFM. Continuous maps of the habitat suitability were converted to binary maps using Youden Index(?) in order to evaluate the accuracy of the RFM in estimation of the distribution of species potentialhabitat. Based on the values of the area under curve(AUC) statistics, accuracy of predictive models of all habitats was in good level. Investigating the agreement between the predicted map, generated by each model, and actual maps, generated from fieldmeasured data, of the plant habitats, was at a high level for all habitats, except for Amygdalus scoparia habitat. 3Climate change and agriculture:Impacts and adaptive responses in Iran显示文摘The impacts of climate change on agriculture are still shadowed with uncertainty.However,climate change is expected to adversely affect Iran's agricultural practices through changes in precipitation,temperature and carbon dioxide fertilization.Therefore,adaptation of this sector to the increasing weather events is imperative.This study is aimed to document the likely impacts of climate change on Iran's agriculture and the current adaptation efforts made by government and farmers.The review of literature shows that changes in rainfall and water endowments will have significant impacts on crop yield,crops' water requirements and income and welfare of farm families.The extent of the changes in yield depends on the crop type,assumptions related to the CO_2 fertilization effect,climate scenarios and adaptation abilities.On adaptation,the government's efforts have been distinguished in the improving agricultural productivity and irrigation development based on current technology,developing new technologies and policy reforms.Farmers' adaptive responses have also been identified.Some conclusions and recommendations are offered to increase the adaptive capacity of farmers and reduce negative impacts of climate change.Vahid Karimi Ezatollah Karami Marzieh Keshavarz 2018Journal of Integrative Agriculture2018,17,1:6

5Sizing of rock fragmentation modeling due to bench blasting using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)显示文摘One of the most important characters of blasting,a basic step of surface mining,is rock fragmentation because it directly effects on the costs of drilling and economics of the subsequent operations of loading,hauling and crushing in mines.Adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)and radial basis function(RBF)show potentials for modeling the behavior of complex nonlinear processes such as those involved in fragmentation due to blasting of rocks.We developed ANFIS and RBF methods for modeling of sizing of rock fragmentation due to bench blasting by estimation of 80%passing size(K_(80))of Golgohar iron mine of Sirjan.Iran.Comparing the results of ANFIS and RBF models shows that although the statistical parameters RBF model is acceptable but ANFIS proposed model is superior and also simpler because ANFIS model is constructed using only two input parameters while seven input parameters used for construction of RBF model.Karami Alireza Afiuni-Zadeh Somaieh 2013International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6:4
6大豆提取物抗戊四唑所致卵巢切除大鼠痉挛的作用(英文)显示文摘目的:研究大豆提取物抗戊四唑所致卵巢切除大鼠痉挛的作用。方法:雌性Wistar大鼠随机分为4组(n=15),分别为假手术组、卵巢切除组、低剂量大豆提取物组和高剂量大豆提取物组。假手术组大鼠行假手术,其余3组大鼠行卵巢切除术。每组大鼠再随机分为2个亚组,其中一个亚组(n=7)每日予低剂量戊四唑(40mg/kg)腹腔内注射,连续14d;另一亚组(n=8)予一次高剂量戊四唑(90mg/kg)腹腔内注射。在戊四唑注射前30min,低剂量大豆提取物(20mg/kg)及高剂量大豆提取物(60mg/kg)组分别腹腔内注射大豆提取物,假手术组及卵巢切除组注射生理盐水。上述步骤完成后,将大鼠置于树脂玻璃箱中观察60min。结果:重复低剂量注射戊四唑14d,卵巢切除组大鼠的痉挛评分在第3、5、8、10、11、12及13天低于假手术组(P<0.05或P<0.01),而低剂量大豆提取物组和高剂量大豆提取物组大鼠的痉挛评分高于卵巢切除组(P<0.05或P<0.01)。一次性高剂量注射戊四唑后,与假手术组相比,卵巢切除组大鼠阵发性强直性抽搐潜伏期延长,而最小阵发性痉挛潜伏期无明显变化;与卵巢切除组相比,低剂量及高剂量的大豆提取物显著缩短了大鼠阵发性强直性抽搐及最小阵发性痉挛的潜伏期(P<0.01)。结论:雌激素能够影响戊四唑所致大鼠痉挛的严重程度,而大豆中所含的植物雌激素也具有类似作用,这种作用还有待更多的研究予以证实。Ali Reza Ebrahimzadeh Bideskan Mahmoud Hosseini Toktam Mohammadpour Reza Karami Mehdi Khodamoradi Habibollah Nemati Karimooy Hassan Alavi 2011中西医结合学报2011,9,6:4

8Improvement in IBC-silicon solar cell performance by insertion of highly doped crystalline layer at heterojunction interfaces显示文摘By inserting a thin highly doped crystalline silicon layer between the base region and amorphous silicon layer in an interdigitated back-contact(IBC) silicon solar cell, a new passivation layer is investigated. The passivation layer performance is characterized by numerical simulations. Moreover, the dependence of the output parameters of the solar cell on the additional layer parameters(doping concentration and thickness) is studied. By optimizing the additional passivation layer in terms of doping concentration and thickness, the power conversion efficiency could be improved by a factor of2.5%, open circuit voltage is increased by 30 mV and the fill factor of the solar cell by 7.4%. The performance enhancement is achieved due to the decrease of recombination rate, a decrease in solar cell resistivity and improvement of field effect passivation at heterojunction interface. The above-mentioned results are compared with reported results of the same conventional interdigitated back-contact silicon solar cell structure. Furthermore, the effect of a-Si:H/c-Si interface defect density on IBC silicon solar cell parameters with a new passivation layer is studied. 10f(T) modified teleparallel gravity as an alternative for holographic and new agegraphic dark energy models显示文摘In the present work, we reconstruct different f (T)-gravity models corresponding to the original and entropy-corrected versions of the holographic and new agegraphic dark energy models. We also obtain the equation of state parameters of the corresponding f(T)-gravity models. 11Design of a multiplex PCR method for detection of toxigenicpathogenic in Vibrio cholerae显示文摘Objective:To study virulence and regulatory genes(hlyA,ctxB,tcpI) in clinical strains of Vibrio ckolerae(V.cholerae),simultaneously.Methods:Three important genes,tepI,hlyA and ctxB were used for detection of toxigenic and pathogenic V.cholera by chain reaction assay method. 12Dark count rate and band to band tunneling optimization for single photon avalanche diode topologies显示文摘This paper proposes two optimal designs of single photon avalanche diodes(SPADs) minimizing dark count rate(DCR). The first structure is introduced as p^+/pwell/nwell, in which a specific shallow pwell layer is added between p^+and nwell layers to decrease the electric field below a certain threshold. The simulation results show on average 19.7%and 8.5% reduction of p^+/nwell structure’s DCR comparing with similar previous structures in different operational excess bias and temperatures respectively. Moreover, a new structure is introduced as n+/nwell/pwell, in which a specific shallow nwell layer is added between n+and pwell layers to lower the electric field below a certain threshold. The simulation results show on average 29.2% and 5.5% decrement of p^+/nwell structure’s DCR comparing with similar previous structures in different operational excess bias and temperatures respectively. It is shown that in higher excess biases(about 6 volts), the n+/nwell/pwell structure is proper to be integrated as digital silicon photomultiplier(dSiPM) due to low DCR. 13An evaluation of central Iran’s protected areas under different climate change scenarios (A Case on Markazi and Hamedan provinces)显示文摘Global climate change poses a new challenge for species and can even push some species toward an extinction vortex. The most affected organisms are those with narrow tolerance to the climatic factors but many large mammals such as ungulates with a wider ecological niche are also being affected indirectly. Our research mainly used wild sheep in central Iran as a model species to explore how the suitable habitats will change under different climatic scenarios and to determine if current borders of protected areas will adequately protect habitat requirements. To create habitat models we used animal-vehicle collision points as an input for species presence data. We ran habitat models using Max Ent modeling approach under different climatic scenarios of the past, present and future(under the climatic scenarios for minimum(RCP2.6) and maximum(RCP8.5) CO2 concentration trajectories). We tried to estimate the overlap and the width of the ecological niche using relevant metrics. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the protected areas, suitable maps were concerted to binary maps using True Skill Statistic(TSS) threshold and measured the similarity of the binary maps for each scenario using Kappa index. In order to assess the competence of the present protected areas boundary in covering the distribution of species, two different scenarios were employed, which are ensemble scenario 1: an ensemble of the binary maps of the species distribution in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP2.6;and ensemble scenario 2: an ensemble of binary suitability maps in Mid-Holocene, present, and RCP8.5. Then, the borders of modeled habitats with the boundaries of 23 existing protected areas in two central provinces in Iran were compared. The predicted species distribution under scenario 1(RCP2.6) was mostly similar to its current distribution(Kappa = 0.53) while the output model under scenario 2(RCP8.5) indicated a decline in the species distribution range. Under the first ensemble scenario, current borders of the protected areas in Hamedan province showed better efficiency to cover the model species distribution range. Analyzing Max Ent spatial models under the second climatic scenario suggested that protected areas in both Markazi and Hamedan provinces will not cover 'high suitability' areas in the future. 16Different effects of L-arginine on morphine tolerance in sham and ovariectomized female mice显示文摘Objective:The roles of gonadal hormones and nitric oxide(NO) on the analgesic effects of morphine,tolerance to morphine,and their interactions have been widely investigated.In the present study,the effect of L-arginine(an NO precursor) on morphine tolerance in sham and ovariectomized(OVX) female mice was investigated.Methods:Forty mice were divided into sham and OVX groups.On the first day,a hot plate test((55±0.2) °C;cut-off 30 s) was carried out as a base record 15 min before injection of morphine(10 mg/kg,subcutaneously(s.c.)) and was repeated every 15 min after injection.The sham group was then divided into two subgroups:sham-tolerance-L-arginine(Sham-Tol-LA) and sham-tolerance-saline(Sham-Tol-Sal) which received either L-arginine 50 mg/kg(intraperitoneally(i.p.)) or saline 10 ml/kg(i.p.),respectively,three times in a day for three consecutive days.Morphine tolerance was induced in animals by injecting 30 mg/kg morphine(s.c.) three times/day for three days.This treatment was also used for OVX subgroups.On the fifth day,the hot plate test was repeated.The analgesic effect of morphine was calculated as the maximal percent effect(MPE).The results were compared using repeated measure analysis of variance(ANOVA).Results:There was no significant difference in MPE between the OVX and sham groups.The MPEs in both the Sham-Tol-Sal and OVX-Tol-Sal groups were lower than those in both the sham and OVX groups(P<0.01).The MPE in the OVX-Tol-Sal group was greater than that in the Sham-Tol-Sal group(P<0.01).The MPE in the Sham-Tol-LA group was higher than that in the Sham-Tol-Sal group(P<0.01).However,there was no significant difference between the Sham-Tol-LA and sham groups or between the OVX-Tol-LA and OVX-Tol-Sal groups.Conclusions:The results of the present study showed that repeated administration of morphine causes tolerance to the analgesic effect of morphine.L-Arginine could prevent tolerance to morphine but its effect was different in the presence of ovarian hormones.Reza KARAMI Mahmoud HOSSEINI Fatimeh KHODABANDEHLOO Leila KHATAMI Zahra TAIARANI 2011Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2011,12,12:2
