1New vacuum solar telescope and observations with high resolution显示文摘The New Vacuum Solar Telescope(NVST) is a one meter vacuum solar telescope that aims to observe fine structures on the Sun. The main goals of NVST are high resolution imaging and spectral observations, including measurements of the solar magnetic field. NVST is the primary ground-based facility used by the Chinese solar research community in this solar cycle. It is located by Fuxian Lake in southwest China, where the seeing is good enough to perform high resolution observations. We first introduce the general conditions at the Fuxian Solar Observatory and the primary science cases of NVST. Then, the basic structures of this telescope and instruments are described in detail. 5Activation of Toll-like receptors signaling in non-small cell lung cancer cell line induced by tumor-associated macrophages显示文摘Background:Inflammation is often linked with the progress and poor outcome of lung cancer.The understanding of the relationship between tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs) and lung cancer cells involves in the underlying mechanism of inflammatory cytokine production.Toll-like receptors(TLRs) are engaged in promoting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and play an important role in tumor immunology.Methods:To investigate the mechanisms by which TAMs influence the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in lung cancer cells,we established an in vitro coculture system using TAMs and human nonsmall cell lung cancer(NSCLC) cell line SPC-A1.Levels of interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 in SPC-A1 were evaluated by RT-PCR and cytometric bead array assay after being cocultured with TAMs.Expression changes of TLRs and TLRs signaling pathway proteins in SPC-A1 were further confirmed by RT-PCR and western blot.The level changes of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 in SPC-A1 were also detected after the stimulation of TLRs agonists.Results:We found that the phenotype markers of TAMs were highly expressed after stimulating human monocyte cell line THP-1 by phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate(PMA).Higher mRNA and supernate secretion levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 were detected in SPC-A1 after being cocultured with TAMs.We also found that TLR1,TLR6 and TLR7 were up-regulated in SPC-A1 in the coculture system with TAMs.Meanwhile,TLRs signaling pathway proteins were also significantly activated.Moreover,pre-treatment with agonist ligands for TLR1,TLR6 and TLR7 could dramatically promote inductions of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8.Conclusions:These findings demonstrated that TAMs may enhance IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 expressions via TLRs signaling pathway.We conclude that TAMs contribute to maintain the inflammation microenvironment and ultimately promote the development and progression of lung cancer.Xing Ke Meng Wu Jianfang Lou Shuping Zhang Peijun Huang Ruihong Sun Lei Huang Erfu Xie Fang Wang Bing Gu 2015Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,2:6

9Lijiang 2.4-meter Telescope and its instruments显示文摘The Lijiang 2.4-meter Telescope(LJT), the largest common-purpose optical telescope in China,has been available to the worldwide astronomical community since 2008. It is located at the Gaomeigu site,Lijiang Observatory(LJO), in the southwest of China. The site has very good observational conditions.During its 10-year operation, several instruments have been equipped on the LJT. Astronomers can perform both photometric and spectral observations. The main scientific goals of LJT include recording photometric and spectral evolution of supernovae, reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei, investigating the physical properties of binary stars and near-earth objects(comets and asteroids), and identification of exoplanets and all kinds of transients. Until now, the masses of 41 high accretion rate black holes have been measured, and more than 168 supernovae have been identified by the LJT. More than 190 papers related to the LJT have been published. In this paper, the general observation conditions of the Gaomeigu site is introduced at first. Then, the structure of the LJT is described in detail, including the optical, mechanical, motion and control system. The specification of all the instruments and some detailed parameters of the YFOSC is also presented. 11Recombinant human PDCD5 protein enhances chemosensitivities of hematologic malignancies显示文摘PDCD5 is a novel apoptosis-related gene. Overexpression of PDCD5 facilitates apoptosis in various tumor cells. Here, we investigated the roles of recombinant human PDCD5 (rhPDCD5) protein in chemosensitivities of hematologic malignancies. The rhPDCD5 increased the in vitro cytotoxicity of daunorubicin (DNR), adriamycin (ADM) and As2O3 in three hematologic tumor cell lines. In vivo studies showed that DNR combined with rhPDCD5 significantly suppressed tumor growth of U937 xenograft nude mice compared with DNR alone. 12New Result on Delay-dependent Stability for Markovian Jump Time-delay Systems With Partial Information on Transition Probabilities显示文摘This paper focuses on the delay-dependent stability for a kind of Markovian jump time-delay systems(MJTDSs),whose transition rates are incompletely known. In order to reduce the computational complexity and achieve better performance,auxiliary function-based double integral inequality is combined with extended Wirtinger's inequality and Jensen inequality to deal with the double integral and the triple integral in augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii function(ALKF) and their weak infinitesimal generator respectively, the more accurate approximation bounds with a fewer variables are derived. As a result, less conservative stability criteria are proposed in this paper. 13Spatial distribution, environmental risks, and sources of potentially toxic elements in soils from a typical abandoned antimony smelting site显示文摘The rapid development of the smelting industry increases the release of antimony(Sb)into the soil environment,which threatens human health and ecosystems.A total of 87 samples were collected from an abandoned Sb smelting site to evaluate pollution characteristics and environmental risks of the potentially toxic elements(PTEs).The contents of As,Cu,Ni,Pb,Sb,and Zn in the fresh soils determined by P-XRF were 131,120,60,145,240,and 154 mg/kg,respectively,whilst following drying,grinding,and sieving pretreatments,the corresponding contents increased to 367,179,145,295,479,and 276 mg/kg,respectively.There was a significant correlation between the data obtained by P-XRF and ICP-OES in the treated samples,which showed the application feasibility of P-XRF.The average contents of Sb and As were 440.6 and 411.6 mg/kg,respectively,which exceeded the control values of the development land in GB 36600-2018.The ecological risk levels of the six PTEs decreased in the following order:As>Sb>Pb>Zn>Ni>Cu.Non-carcinogenic risk revealed that As,Pb,and Sb posed health risks for children,whilst for carcinogenic risk,the risk values for As and Ni were higher than the limit values for both children and adults.Anthropogenic sources accounted for more than 70.0%of As,Pb,and Sb concentrations in soils,indicating a significant influence on PTEs accumulation.The findings provide a basis for quick determination of the contamination characteristics and risk control of PTEs at Sb smelting sites.Shengguo Xue Ramon Korna Jiarong Fan Wenshun Ke Wei Lou Jinting Wang Feng Zhu 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5:2

16Effect of magnetic field distribution on ECR ion source discharge显示文摘An electron cyclotron resonance ion source model that uses a coaxial antenna to inject the RF power was simulated, and the corresponding hydrogen plasma densities of the ion source were calculated at different magnetic field distributions via a fluid model. 20Panicle-3D:Efficient Phenotyping Tool for Precise Semantic Segmentation of Rice Panicle Point Cloud显示文摘The automated measurement of crop phenotypic parameters is of great significance to the quantitative study of crop growth.The segmentation and classification of crop point cloud help to realize the automation of crop phenotypic parameter measurement.At present,crop spike-shaped point cloud segmentation has problems such as fewer samples,uneven distribution of point clouds,occlusion of stem and spike,disorderly arrangement of point clouds,and lack of targeted network models.The traditional clustering method can realize the segmentation of the plant organ point cloud with relatively independent spatial location,but the accuracy is not acceptable.This paper first builds a desktop-level point cloud scanning apparatus based on a structured-light projection module to facilitate the point cloud acquisition process.Then,the rice ear point cloud was collected,and the rice ear point cloud data set was made.In addition,data argumentation is used to improve sample utilization efficiency and training accuracy.Finally,a 3D point cloud convolutional neural network model called Panicle-3D was designed to achieve better segmentation accuracy.Specifically,the design of Panicle-3D is aimed at the multiscale characteristics of plant organs,combined with the structure of PointConv and long and short jumps,which accelerates the convergence speed of the network and reduces the loss of features in the process of point cloud downsampling.After comparison experiments,the segmentation accuracy of Panicle-3D reaches 93.4%,which is higher than PointNet.Panicle-3D is suitable for other similar crop point cloud segmentation tasks.Liang Gong Xiaofeng Du Kai Zhu Ke Lin Qiaojun Lou Zheng Yuan Guoqiang Huang Chengliang Liu 2021Plant Phenomics2021,3,1:1
