2Centrifuge modelling of tunnelling below existing twin tunnels with different types of support显示文摘Tunnel excavation below existing tunnels produces ultimate and serviceability problems to the existing tunnels.The behaviours of induced stresses on the existing tunnels haven’t yet been fully recognized.In this study,a centrifuge model test was adopted to investigate the effects of new tunnelling on two existing overlying tunnels.One existing tunnel model simulated a prototype composite lining tunnel and the other simulated a prototype segmental lining tunnel.The volume loss produced by new tunnel excavation was modelled by an in-flight actuator system.The surface settlements,the existing tunnels settlements,the soil pressures on existing tunnels,the bending movements of existing tunnels,and the joint behaviours of existing tunnels were monitored.The volume of surface settlement trough was much smaller than the soil volume moving into the tunnel,due to the heave of the tunnel bottom and the dilation of sand during shearing.The maximum settlement of the segmental lining model was larger than that of the composite lining model as the equivalent bending stiffness of the composite lining model was larger than that of the former.Due to new tunnel excavation,the soil pressures on different positions of the existing tunnel behaved differently,and the bending movements of the existing tunnels decreased.Moreover,the joint deformation of existing tunnel caused by new tunnel excavation could be classified into three types:(1)translation,(2)rotation,and(3)combination of both.Qian Fang Xiang Liu Kehan Zeng Xuedong Zhang Mozhen Zhou Jianming Du 2022Underground Space2022,7,6:0
3Synthesis and optical properties of LiNd(PO_3)_4 nanocrystals dispersion in DMSO/TBE显示文摘Lanthanide doped nanocrystals with strong fluorescence, long lifetime at high doping concentrations have great potential application in bio-imaging and liquid gain medium. LiNd(PO_3)_4(LNP) crystal was reported to be one of the most excellent laser crystals with high Nd3+ concentration, and their nanocrystals synthesized via improved combustion method for the first time had strong emission intensity and long fluorescence lifetime of 122 μs. Besides,LiNd(PO_3)_4 nanocrystals can be dispersed in mixed solvents of DMSO/TBE(CHBr2 CHBr2) to form a transparent colloidal dispersion, and Judd-Ofelt theory was used to evaluate their optical parameters. In summary, LiNd(PO_3)_4 nanocrystals possess long lifetime(116 μs), low solvents quenching rate(4.9%), large emission cross section(7.63 × 10^(-20) cm^2) and high quantum yield(35.2%) under high Nd3+ ions concentration(1×10^(20) cm^(-3)), which would be the most competitive colloidal gain medium of optical amplification and laser with LD pump and potential biomaterial with low particles concentration.Zhongyue Wang Zhen Yang Ruilin Zheng Kehan Yu Peng Lv Chunxiao Liu Wei Wei 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,6:0
4hucMSC-derived exosomes protect ovarian reserve and restore ovarian function in cisplatin treated mice显示文摘Anti-cancer therapy often causes premature ovarian insufficiency and infertility as the ovarian follicle reserve is extremely sensitive to chemotherapy drugs,such as cisplatin.Various fertility preservation methods have been explored for women,especially prepubertal girls undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy due to cancer.In recent years,mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(MSC-exos)have been reported to play an important role in tissue repair and the treatment of various diseases.In the current study,we observed that human umbilical cord-derived MSC-exos(hucMSC-exos)after short-term culture improved follicular survival and development while receiving cisplatin treatment.Moreover,intravenous injection of hucMSC-exos improved ovarian function and ameliorated inflammatory environment within the ovary.The underlying mechanism of hucMSC-exos on fertility preservation was associated with the down-regulation of p53-related apoptosis and their anti-inflammatory function.Based on these findings,we propose that hucMSC-exos may be a potential approach to improve fertility in women diagnosed with cancer.Yue Xiao Yue Peng Chi Zhang Wei Liu Kehan Wang Jing Li 2023The Journal of Biomedical Research2023,37,5:0
5Tunable sliding ferroelectricity and magnetoelectric coupling in two-dimensional multiferroic MnSe materials显示文摘Sliding ferroelectricity(SFE)found in two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)materials,such as BN and transition-metal dichalcogenides bilayers,opens an avenue for 2D ferroelectric materials.Multiferroic coupling in 2D SFE materials brings us an alternative concept for spintronic memory devices.In this study,using first-principles calculations,we demonstrate that MnSe multilayers constructed by the recently-synthesized MnSe monolayer have large sliding-driven reversible out-of-plane electric polarization(~10.6 pC m^(−1))and moderate interlayer sliding barriers superior to the existing 2D SFE materials.Interestingly,the intrinsic electric polarization is accompanied by nonzero net magnetic moments which are also switchable via lateral interlayer sliding.Additionally,both SFE and magnetoelectric coupling can be effectively regulated by external strain and/or hole doping.Our findings suggest the potential of MnSe multilayers in 2D multiferroic and spintronic applications.Kehan Liu Xikui Ma Shuoke Xu Yangyang Li Mingwen Zhao 2023npj Computational Materials2023,,1:0
