| 2 | Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. | 3 | Turbulent characteristics and rotation correction of wall function in rotating channel with high local rotation parameter显示文摘The turbulent fluctuation and the rotation correction of wall function law are investigated in the entrance section of a rotating channel. The one-dimensional hot wire probe and the X-type probe are utilized to measure the boundary layer at four streamwise stations. Through the analysis on the boundary layer near the leading side and trailing side, it is found that the turbulent fluctuation is promoted in the trailing side whereas suppressed in the leading side. This difference is attributed to the Coriolis instability near the trailing side. In addition, considering the local rotation parameter Rc, whose maximum absolute value is 0.014, is larger than that in previous research, whose maximum value is 0.007, the whole process of the relaminarization is captured. To understand this phenomenon better, the effects of the generation term and the Coriolis term in the transport equation of the Reynolds stress are discussed. | 4 | One hundred noteworthy boletes from China显示文摘Fungi of the family Boletaceae are of great importance in both ecology and economy.Our previous molecular phylogenetic studies have shown this family to have an extremely high species diversity in China.To further document the Chinese boletes,morphological studies and phylogenetic analyses were conducted including species of Boletaceae from China and other parts of the world.The results indicate that seven subfamily-level major clades and 62 generic clades can be retrieved,52 of which are found in China.Furthermore,100 species(comprising 32 genera)common in China are illustrated and described here in detail.Among them,four genera and 46 species are new to science,and 26 new combinations are proposed.To interpret the species concepts consistently,epitypes for five species are designated based on collections made from or near the type localities.Notes on eight extralimital species are also provided.Among the species reported here,most of the species are known only from East Asia.Only Leccinum scabrum(Bull.)Gray,Porphyrellus porphyrosporus(Fr.&Hok)E.-J.Gilbert and Tylopilus felleus(Bull.)P.Karst.are widely distributed in the Holarctic,and Buchwaldoboletus lignicola(Kallenb.)Pila´t;Strobilomyces strobilaceus(Scop.)Berk.are in Eurasia;while Aureoboletus mirabilis(Murrill)Halling,Harrya chromapes(Frost)Halling et al.,and Sutorius eximius(Peck)Halling et al.are found throughout East Asia-North America based on morphological and molecular phylogenetic evidences. | Gang Wu Yan-Chun Li Xue-Tai Zhu Kuan Zhao Li-Hong Han Yang-Yang Cui Fang Li Jian-Ping Xu Zhu L.Yang | 2016 | Fungal Diversity2016,,6: | 4 |

| 7 | IL-29 promoted obesity-induced inflammation and insulin resistance显示文摘Adipocyte-macrophage crosstalk plays a critical role to regulate adipose tissue microenvironment and cause chronic inflammation in the pathogenesis of obesity.Interleukin-29(IL-29),a member of type 3 interferon family,plays a role in host defenses against microbes,however,little is known about its role in metabolic disorders.We explored the function of IL-29 in the pathogenesis of obesity-induced inflammation and insulin resistance.We found that serum IL-29 level was significantly higher in obese patients.IL-29 upregulated IL-1β,IL-8,and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)expression and decreased glucose uptake and insulin sensitivity in human Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome(SGBS)adipocytes through reducing glucose transporter 4(GLUT4)and AKT signals.In addition,IL-29 promoted monocyte/macrophage migration.Inhibition of IL-29 could reduce inflammatory cytokine production in macrophage-adipocyte coculture system,which mimic an obese microenvironment.In vivo,IL-29 reduced insulin sensitivity and increased the number of peritoneal macrophages in high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice.IL-29 increased M1/M2 macrophage ratio and enhanced MCP-1 expression in adipose tissues of HFD mice.Therefore,we have identified a critical role of IL-29 in obesity-induced inflammation and insulin resistance,and we conclude that IL-29 may be a novel candidate target for treating obesity and insulin resistance in patients with metabolic disorders. | Tian-Yu Lin Chiao-Juno Chiu Chen-Hsiang Kuan Fang-Hsu Chen Yin-Chen Shen Chih-Hsing Wu Yu-Hsiang Hsu | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,4: | 3 |
| 8 | Effect of Zn deficiency and excessive bicarbonate on the allocation and exudation of organic acids in two Moraceae plants显示文摘The effect of zinc(Zn) deficiency and excessive bicarbonate on the allocation and exudation of organic acids in plant organs(root, stem, and leaf) and root exudates of two Moraceae plants(Broussonetia papyrifera and Morus alba) were investigated. Two Moraceae plants were hydroponically grown and cultured in nutrient solution in four different treatments with 0.02 mM Zn or no Zn,combined with no or 10 mM bicarbonate. The variations of organic acids in different plant organs were similar to those of root exudates in the four treatments except B. papyrifera, which was in a treatment that was a combination of 0.02 mM Zn and no bicarbonate. The response characteristics in the production, translocation, and allocation of organic acids in the plant organs and root exudates varied with species and treatments. Organic acids in plant organs and root exudates increased under Zn-deficient conditions,excessive bicarbonate, or both. An increase of organic acids in the leaves resulted in an increase of root-exuded organic acids. B. papyrifera translocated more oxalate and citrate from the roots to the rhizosphere than M. alba under the dual influence of 10 mM bicarbonate and Zn deficiency. Organic acids of leaves may be derived from dark respiration and photorespiration. By comparison, organic acids in stems, roots, and root exudates may be derived from dark respiration and organic acid translocation from the leaves.
