| WANG Kaiyi FAN Hongrui YANG Kuifeng HU Fangfang MA Yuguang | 2010 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2010,84,6: | 11
Evolution of Yellow River Delta Coastline Based on Remote Sensing from 1976 to 2014, China显示文摘Coastal regions are threatened by natural processes, such as erosion driven by storm surges and the effect of jetties, as well as by human behavior. The coastline of the Yellow River Delta(YRD) was monitored using the general high-tide line method, which combines Remote sensing(RS) and geographic information system(GIS) technology, using multi-spectral scanner(MSS), thematic mapper(TM), and enhanced thematic mapper plus(ETM+) images of the YRD from 1976 to 2014 as a data source. The results demonstrated that the shape and length of the YRD coastline has changed dramatically since 1976. The course of the Diaokouhe channel has resulted in mainly inland erosion in the north, and is primarily marine erosion; therefore, it was termed an erosion-type estuary. However, the coastline of the Qingshuigou course has moved seaward, demonstrating an accretion stage, and was therefore termed an accretion-type estuary. The coastline advanced forward before 1997 and shrank after 2003 in the southern part of the river mouth, which was due to the shift in the river mouth in 1996. It has continually extended outward in the northern part of the river mouth from 2003 onward. The coastline in the southern part of the river mouth has moved randomly, with the occurrence of both erosion and sedimentation caused by land reclamation and sea wave intrusion. In most cases, the coastline has extended offshore, especially in the northern part of the river mouth. The YRD coastline has changed frequently and rapidly from 1992 to 2014. The river mouth channel, river water and sediments, and precipitation were the major factors affecting the YRD. The YRD coastline was mainly in an accretion stage during flow periods. The erosion rate decreased and tended to be stable during a dry period. The coastline was basically stable when dry periods occurred over a long period. The location of Yellow River ports and sea erosion were the main factors driving coastline changes. The coastline was mainly influenced by the flow path of the Yellow River, with recent human activity also becoming a factor. | WANG Kuifeng | 2019 | Chinese Geographical Science2019,29,2: | 9
Difference between static and dynamic angle of repose of uniform sediment grains显示文摘In the investigation of sediment transport,it is necessary to differentiate various definitions of angle of repose(AoR) available in the literature. The static AoR,composed of upper and lower angle of slope, forms just before and after slope instability, while the dynamic AoR can be observed when sediment grains are moving continuously down an inclined plane. In the present study,a series of laboratory experiments was conducted to measure static and dynamic angle of repose for uniform natural sediments with median diameter of 0.28-4.38 mm.The results show that the different slope angles have different characteristics. The upper and dynamic AoR increase slightly with increasing grain diameter, while the lower AoR is not sensitive to changes in sediment size and may assume a constant value. The average of the upper and lower AoR is equivalent to the dynamic AoR,and the difference between them increases with increasing grain diameter. The present study suggests that the different angles of repose should be treated with caution when applying in investigations of bedload transport, dune migration and local scour development. | Nian-Sheng Cheng Kuifeng Zhao | 2017 | International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,2: | 2
Microstructure and magnetic fabric in the Shuanghe pluton:A synkinematic granite in Eastern Dabie Mountains,China显示文摘Strain analyses for the Shuanghe pluton show that the main strain planes suffered distinct deformation. The main strain value (XZ) is up to 1.59—2.18, and the value of Flinn index (K) ranges from 0.11 to 0.82. Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) measurements reveal that the orientations of the magnetic foliation and lineation gently dip SE, consistent with the macroscopic foliation of the pluton. The value of anisotropy degree (P) ranges from 1.109 to 1.639, and the shape parameter (T) from 0.079 to 0.534. These studies prove that the pluton was deformed under strong compression. Quartz c-axis textures, defined by monoclinic or triclinic asymmetry, usually developed the high maxima paralleling the b-axis, which is defined by the prismatic slip (1010)der the high temperature. These fabrics are quite different from those developed in the high-ultrahigh pressure rocks (UHP) which were captured in the pluton or country rocks. It is concluded that the Shuanghe pluton emplaced under regional compression slightly after the formation of UHP, and it is characterized by synkinematic granitic deformation. | YANG Kunguang LIU Qiang LIU Yuyan MA Changqian XU Yajun YANG Kuifeng | 2004 | Science China Earth Sciences2004,47,10: | 2
Stocking density effects on growth and stress response of juvenile turbot(Scophthalmus maximus) reared in land-based recirculating aquaculture system显示文摘Stocking density is widely recognized as a critical factor in aquaculture and a potential source of long-term stress. The influence of stocking density on growth and stress response of juvenile turbot(Scophthalmus maximus, ~3–75g, initial to final weight) was examined in fish held under low(LD, ~0.21–5.31 kg/m^2, initial to final density),medium(MD, ~0.42–10.81 kg/m^2) and high stocking density(HD, ~0.63–14.27 kg/m^2) for 120 days in a recirculating aquaculture system(RAS). In this trial, the growth curve for weight of juvenile turbot in RAS, all fitted by the Schnute model. No significant difference was found in growth performance among the three densities until at the final sampling(Day 120). The final weight and body weight increase(BWI) in the HD group were significantly lower than in other groups(P<0.05, weight:(75.83±2.49) g,(75.39±2.08) g,(65.72±2.86) g and BWI:(2 436.12±28.10)%,(2 421.29±4.64)%,(2 097.88±20.99)% in LD, MD and HD groups, respectively). Similarly, the specific growth rate(SGR), feed conversion ratio(FCR) and coefficient of variation for weight(CV_w) were adversely affected by high stocking density(P<0.05). However, there was no difference in survival and Fulton's condition factor(K) of turbot among the different groups. Physiological analyses demonstrated a clear increase in the plasma cortisol level and an obvious decrease in growth hormone(GH) concentration in the HD group on Day120(P<0.05). There was no significant effect of stocking density on plasma glucose, Cl– and protein levels. All these findings would provide a reference for selecting the optimal stocking density of juvenile turbot in RAS. | LIU Baoliang JIA Rui ZHAO Kuifeng WANG Guowen LEI Jilin HUANG Bin | 2017 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2017,36,10: | 1

Structural Networks Constraints on Alteration and Mineralization Processes in the Jiaojia Gold Deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula, China显示文摘Structural network studies could give appropriate opportunities to understanding structural/hydrothermal events, transportation of ore-forming fluids and water/rock interaction process.Four structural deformation/hydrothermal events have been identified in the Jiaojia fault zone according to microtexture and deformation of quartz and feldspars.Plagioclase experienced ductile deformation period with bended polysynthetic twin stripes(>450℃)in the early stage, followed by K-feldspar alteration period with ductile-brittle deformation and subgrain rotation recrystallization of quartz(380-450℃).Then,sericitization period occurred extensive ductile-brittle deformation(350-420℃)and extensive subgrain rotation recrystallization with a little bulging recrystallization in quartz. In the last, gold precipitation-related pyrite-sericite-quartz alteration was dominated by brittle deformation(300-380℃)and total bulging recrystallization of quartz. From the K-feldspar alteration zone and sericitization zone to pyrite-sericitequartz alteration zone, fractal dimension values of dynamically recrystallized quartz grains increase from 1.07 and 1.24 to 1.32,the calculated paleo strain rate values of dynamically recrystallized quartz range from 10^-10^.7(380℃)-10^-9.6(450℃)and 10^-9.3(350℃)-10^-8.2(420℃)to 10^-9.5(300℃)-10^-8.0(380℃),and the paleo differential stress values increase from 36.9 and 39.3,to 121.3 MPa.The increase of fractal dimension values and decrease of grain size from pyrite-sericite-quartz alteration zone and sericitization zone to K-feldspar alteration zone decreased average water/rock ratio values, which could lead to different acidity and redox conditions of ore-forming fluids and mineralization differences. Two kinds of orecontrolling fractures have been distinguished which include the gentle dip types(18°-50°)with NW(315°-355°)and SW(180°-235°)dip hosting No.Ⅰorebodies and the steep dip types(74°-90°)with NE(45°-85°)and SE(95°-165°)dip hosting No.Ⅲorebodies.These faults/fractures crosscut altered Linglong granite of footwall of the Jiaojia fault zone as rhombohedrons that promoted the connection between fractures in the K-feldspar alteration zone and fluid flow passages near the main fault face.Research results indicate No.Ⅰand No.Ⅲorebodies should be derived from the same mineralization event and belong to different orebody types in different mineralization sites under the same structural networks. | Huanlong Hu Shuangliang Liu Hong-Rui Fan Kuifeng Yang Yabin Zuo Yachun Cai | 2020 | Journal of Earth Science2020,31,3: | 1
Ore-forming age and tectonic setting of the Linjiasandaogou gold deposit in the Liaodong Peninsula, northeast China:constraints from geochronology and geochemistry显示文摘The Linjiasandaogou gold deposit is located in the Qingchengzi Orefield,North China Craton,China, and has not attracted many studies. We present geochronological,whole-rock geochemical, and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic data to constrain the age and tectonic setting of the mineralization.U–Pb dating of zircon from pre-and post-ore dikes indicates the Linjiasandaogou Au deposit formed at ca.227–226 Ma.The granite porphyry(ca.227 Ma)and quartz diorite porphyry(ca.228 Ma),which are slightly older than the mineralization,have(;Sr/;Sr)i-=0.7127–0.7162,εNd(t)=–13.7 to–17.0,andεHf(t)=–14.6 to–16.9,and display enrichment in light rare earth elements and large ion lithophile elements and depletion in high field strength elements. Two lamprophyres(226 and225 Ma),which are slightly younger than the mineralization, have higher(;Sr/;Sr)i(0.7165–0.7216),negativeεNd(t)(–11.2 to–14.3)andεHf(t)(–15.6 to–18.6)values,and are enriched in light rare earth elements but depleted in high field strength elements(Nb and Ta).The geochemical characteristics of the granitoid and lamprophyres indicate a lower crustal and enriched mantle source, respectively. We infer that the Linjiasandaogou Au deposit formed in a postcollisional tectonic setting, following the collision between the North China,Yangtze craton, and Central Asian Orogeny in Triassic. | Xiaofeng Yao Tingjie Yan Zhicheng Lü Chenggui Lin Kuifeng Mi Shenghui Li Yang Li Wange Du | 2022 | Acta Geochimica2022,41,2: | 1
Conditions and processes leading to large-scale gold deposition in the Jiaodong province, eastern China显示文摘The gold deposits in the Jiaodong Peninsula constitute the largest gold mineralized province in China. The mineralization shows common characteristics in their tectonic setting,ore-forming fluid and metallogenic system.Sulfidation and fluid immiscibility are two important mechanisms controlling gold precipitation, both of which consume sulfur in the oreforming fluids. The escape of H2S from the main ore-forming fluids and the decrease of total sulfur concentration not only lead to the efficient precipitation of gold, but also result in the crystallization of reducing minerals such as pyrrhotite and oxidizing minerals such as magnetite.Quartz solubility shows strong dependence on temperature, pressure, and CO2 content. The dependence of quartz solubility on pressure is weak at low temperatures, and progressively stronger at higher temperatures.Similarly, the temperature dependence of quartz solubility is relatively low at low pressures, but becomes gradually stronger at high pressures. The results of solubility modeling can constrain the dissolution and reprecipitation behavior of quartz in the oreforming veins and the formation mechanism of different types of quartz veins. The multi-stage mineralization fluid activity resulted in the complex dissolution structure of quartz in the Jiaodong gold veins.Pyrite in the main metallogenic period in the Jiaodong gold deposits shows complex microstructure characteristics at single crystal scale. The trace elements(mainly the coupling of As-and Au-rich belt)and sulfur isotope composition also display a certain regularity. The As-rich fluids might have formed by the initial pulse of ore-forming fluids through As-rich metasedimentary strata, while the As-Au oscillation zone at the margin of pyrite grains is related to the pressure fluctuation caused by fault activity and the local phase separation of fluids. There is a temporal and spatial evolution of gold fineness in the Jiaodong gold deposits.Water/rock reaction(sulfidation)was the main ore-forming mechanism of early gold mineralization, forming relatively high fineness gold, while significant pressure drop in the shallow part accompanied by fluid phase separation promoted the late gold mineralization, forming low fineness gold.Under cratonic destruction setting, dehydration of the amphibolite and granulite facies metamorphic lower-crust resulted in the formation of Au-CO2-rich ore-forming fluids, which rose along the deep fault and secondary structure, and formed the largescale fault-controlled gold deposits in Jiaodong. | Hongrui FAN Tingguang LAN Xinghui LI M.SANTOSH Kuifeng YANG Fangfang HU Kai FENG Huanlong HU Hongwei PENG Yongwen ZHANG | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,9: | 1

Fluid Inclusion and Carbon-Oxygen Isotope Studies of the Hujiayu Cu Deposit,Zhongtiao Mountains,China:Implications for Synmetamorphic Copper Remobilization显示文摘The Hujiayu Cu deposit, representative of the 'HuBi-type' Cu deposits in the Zhongtiao Mountains district in the southern edge of the North China Craton,is primarily hosted in graphitebearing schists and carbonate rocks. The ore minerals comprise mainly chalcopyrite, with minor sphalerite,siegenite[(Co,Ni)_3S_4],and clausthalite[Pb(S,Se)].The gangue minerals are mainly quartz and dolomite, with minor albite.Four fluid inclusion types were recognized in the chalcopyrite-pyrite-dolomite-quartz veins, including CO_2-rich inclusions(type Ⅰ),low-salinity,liquid-dominated,biphase aqueous inclusions(type Ⅱ),solid-bearing aqueous inclusions(type Ⅲ),and solid-bearing aqueous-carbonic inclusions(type Ⅳ).Type I inclusion can be further divided into two sub-types,i.e.,monophase CO_2 inclusions(type Ⅰa) and biphase CO_2-rich inclusions(with a visible aqueous phase),and type Ⅲ inclusion is divided into a subtype with a halite daughter mineral(type Ⅲa) and a subtype with multiple solids(type Ⅲb).Various fluid inclusion assemblages(FIAs) were identified through petrographic observations, and were classified into four groups. The group-1 FIA,consisting of monophase CO_2 inclusions(type Ⅰa),homogenized into the liquid phase in a large range of temperatures from-1 to 28℃,suggesting post-entrapment modification. The group-2 FIA consists of type Ⅰb,Ⅲb and Ⅳ inclusions, and is interpreted to reflect fluid immiscibility. The group-3 FIA comprises type Ⅱ and Ⅲa inclusions, and the group-4FIA consists of type Ⅱ inclusions with consistent phase ratios. The group-1 and group-2 FIAs are interpreted to be entrapped during mineralization, whereas group-3 and group-4 FIAs probably represent the post-mineralization fluids. The solid CO_2 melting temperatures range from-60.6 to56.6℃ and from-66.0 to-63.4℃ for type Ⅰa and type Ⅳ inclusions, respectively. The homogenization temperatures for type Ⅱ inclusions range from 132 to 170℃ for group-3 FIAs and115 to 219℃ for group-4 FIAs.The halite melting temperatures range from 530 to 562℃ for typeⅢ b and Ⅳ inclusions, whereas those for type Ⅲa inclusions range from 198 to 398℃.Laser Raman and SEM-EDS results show that the gas species in fluid inclusions are mainly CO_2 with minor CH_4,and the solids are dominated by calcite and halite. The calcite in the hosting marble and dolomite in the hydrothermal veins have δ^(13)C_(V-pdb) values of-0.2 to 1.2‰ and-1.2 to-6.3‰,and δ^(18)O_(v-smow) values of 14.0 to 20.8 ‰ and 13.2 to 14.3‰,respectively.The fluid inclusion and carbon-oxygen isotope data suggest that the ore-forming fluids were probably derived from metamorphic fluids, which had reacted with organic matter in sedimentary rocks or graphite and undergone phase separation at 1.4-1.8 kbar and 230-240℃,after peak metamorphism. It is proposed that the Hujiayu Cu deposit consists of two mineralization stages. The early stage mineralization, characterized by disseminated and veinlet copper sulfides, probably took place in an environment similar to sediment-hosted stratiform copper mineralization.Ore minerals formed in this precursor mineralization stage were remobilized and enriched in the late metamorphic hydrothermal stage, leading to the formation of thick quartz-dolomite-sulfides veins. | QIU Zhengjie FAN Hongrui LIU Xuan WEN Bojie HU Fangfang YANG Kuifeng GUO Shuanglong ZHAO Fengchun | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 1
