1Practical performance and its efficiency of arsenic removal from groundwater using Fe-Mn binary oxide显示文摘A treatment unit packed by granular adsorbent of Fe-Mn binary oxide incorporated into diatomite (FMBO(1:1)-diatomite) was studied to remove arsenic from anaerobic groundwater without any pre-treatment or post-treatment. The raw anaerobic groundwater containing 35-45 μg/L of arsenic was collected from suburb of Beijing. Arsenic(III) constituted roughly 60%-80% of the total arsenic content. Approximately 7,000 bed volumes (ratio of efluent volume to adsorbent volume) treated water with arsenic concentration below 10 μg/L were produced in the operation period of four months. The regeneration of FMBO(1:1)-diatomite had been operated for 15 times. In the first stage, the regeneration process significantly improved the adsorption capacity of FMBO(1:1)-diatomite. With increased loading amount of Fe-Mn binary oxide, the adsorption capacity for arsenic decreased 20%-40%. Iron and manganese in anaerobic groundwater were oxidized and adsorptive filtrated by FMBO(1:1)-diatomite efficiently. The final concentrations of iron and manganese in efluents were nearly zero. 2CNV analysis of Meishan pig by nextgeneration sequencing and effects of AHR gene CNV on pig reproductive traits显示文摘Background:Reproductive performance of livestock is an economically important aspect of global food production.The Chinese Meishan pig is a prolific breed,with an average of three to five more piglets per litter than European breeds;however,the genetic basis for this difference is not well understood.Results:In this study,we investigated copy number variations(CNVs)of 32 Meishan pigs and 29 Duroc pigs by nextgeneration sequencing.A genome-wide analysis of 61 pigs revealed 12,668 copy number variable regions(CNVRs)that were further divided into three categories based on copy number(CN)of the whole population,i.e.,gain(n=7,638),and loss(n=5,030)CNVRs.We then compared Meishan and Duroc pigs and identified 17.17Mb of 6,387 CNVRs that only existing in Meishan pigs CNVRs that overlapped the reproduction-related gene encoding the aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)gene.We found that normal AHR CN was more frequent than CN loss in four different pig breeds.An association analysis showed that AHR CN had a positive effect on litter size(P<0.05)and that a higher CN was associated with higher total number born(P<0.05),number born alive(P<0.05),number of weaned piglets,and birth weight.Conclusions:The present study provides comprehensive CNVRs for Meishan and Duroc pigs through large-scale population resequencing.Our results provide a supplement for the high-resolution map of copy number variation in the porcine genome and valuable information for the investigation of genomic structural variation underlying traits of interest in pig.In addition,the association results provide evidence for AHR as a candidate gene associated with reproductive traits that can be used as a genetic marker in pig breeding programs.Xianrui Zheng Pengju Zhao Kaijie Yang Chao Ning Haifei Wang Lei Zhou Jianfeng Liu 2020Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2020,11,3:6

9Robust Watermarking Algorithm for Medical Volume Data Based on Polar Cosine Transform and 3D-DCT显示文摘The amount of 3D data stored and transmitted in the Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)is increasing,making protecting these medical data increasingly prominent.However,there are relatively few researches on 3D data watermarking.Moreover,due to the particularity of medical data,strict data quality should be considered while protecting data security.To solve the problem,in the field of medical volume data,we proposed a robust watermarking algorithm based on Polar Cosine Transform and 3D-Discrete Cosine Transform(PCT and 3D-DCT).Each slice of the volume data was transformed by PCT to obtain feature row vector,and then the reshaped three-dimensional feature matrix was transformed by 3D-DCT.Based on the contour information of the volume data and the detail information of the inner slice,the visual feature vector was obtained by applying the per-ceptual hash.In addition,the watermark was encrypted by a multi-sensitive initial value Sine and Piecewise linear chaotic Mapping(SPM)system,and embedded as a zero watermark.The key was stored in a third party.Under the same experimental conditions,when the volume data is rotated by 80 degrees,cut 25%along the Z axis,and the JPEG compression quality is 1%,the Normalized Correlation Coefficient(NC)of the extracted watermark is 0.80,0.89,and 1.00 respectively,which are significantly higher than the comparison algorithm.Pengju Zhang Jingbing Li Uzair Aslam Bhatti Jing Liu Yen-wei Chen Dekai Li Lei Cao 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,6:0
