| 3 | Survival and effective prognostic factors in lung cancer patients with brain metastases treated with whole brain radiotherapy显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the outcomes and explore the risk factors for survival of lung cancer patients with brain metastases(BMs)who were treated with whole brain radiotherapy(WBRT)and to identify the significance of the risk factors.Methods:A retrospective analysis was carried out for lung cancer patients with BMs who were treated with WBRT in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2014 to December 2017.Their survival time was calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method.Meanwhile,the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)cutoff values were defined using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis,and the characteristics of different NLR groups were compared using the Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test.Results:A total of 179 patients were assessed.Their median overall survival(OS)was 9.9(95%CI 7.08–12.72)months.As shown by univariate analyses,their OS was significantly affected by histology(P<0.001),number of BMs(P=0.009),local treatment of BMs(P=0.019),Karnofsky Performance Status score(P=0.001),Graded Prognostic Assessment(GPA)score(P<0.001),hemoglobin level(P=0.002),lymphocyte count(P=0.006),albumin level(P=0.001),and NLR(P<0.001).Meanwhile,according to multivariate analyses,independent risk factors for OS included non-adenocarcinoma(ADCA)histology(P<0.001)and high NLR(P=0.006).Moreover,the optimal NLR cutoff value was determined to be 7.0.The patients in this study were divided into three categories based on their total score determined by assigning each risk factor of histology and NLR one point.The median survival in the patients with scores of 0,1,and 2 was 19.6 months,8.5 months,and 2.2 months,respectively(P=0.001).The survival time and prognostic factors of different pathological types of patients were further analyzed.As a result,the median OS of patients with small-cell lung cancer(SCLC),ADCA patients receiving targeted therapy,and ADCA patients not receiving targeted therapy was 10.9 months,13.2 months,and 9.5 months,respectively.The results of multivariate analyses all showed that NLR was an independent risk factor for OS of these three pathological types of patients.Conclusions:Non-ADCA histology and high NLR serve as independent prognostic factors for survival of lung cancer patients with BMs who have been treated with WBRT.A prognostic model comprising histological type and NLR can be used to evaluate the survival. | Bixin Ren Li Zou Qi Guo Ye Tian | 2021 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2021,2,1: | 2 |

Software evolution includes a series of activities to analyze, assess, and validate the changes. This paper proposes an integrated software evolution model, namely SE-FCA, to support four core software evolution activities: program comprehension,change impact analysis, regression testing, and fault localization. These four activities are integrated and supported under the formal concept analysis technique, which is efficient to deal with the relation between entities and entity properties to provide a remarkable insight into the structure of the original relation. These activities are evaluated in a unified empirical environment. Existing studies already ensure accurate results of CCE,but they use stack to store the encoding when recursive calls happen. This may cost much for cyclic call graphs with deep recursive calls. This paper presents a novel approach(called RCCE) to address this problem. With a modified strategy for encoding, it requires less frequent access of the stack and gives more succinct representation of contexts on deep recursion. | 15 | An analysis of correctness for API recommendation:are the unmatched results useless?显示文摘API recommendation is a promising approach which is widely used during software development.However,the evaluation of API recommendation is not explored with sufficient rigor.The current evaluation of API recommendation mainly focuses on correctness,the measurement is conducted by matching recommended results with ground-truth results.In most cases,there is only one set of ground-truth APIs for each recommendation attempt,but the object code can be implemented in dozens of ways.The neglect of code diversity results in a possible defect in the evaluation.To address the problem,we invite15 developers to analyze the unmatched results in a user study.The online evaluation confirms that some unmatched APIs can also benefit to programming due to the functional correlation with ground-truth APIs.Then we measure the API functional correlation based on the relationships extracted from API knowledge graph,API method name,and API documentation.Furthermore,we propose an approach to improve the measurement of correctness based on API functional correlation.Our measurement is evaluated on a dataset of 6141 requirements and historical code fragments from related commits.The results show that 28.2%of unmatched APIs can contribute to correctness in our experiments. | Xianglong KONG Weina HAN Li LIAO Bixin LI | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,9: | 0 |

However, most researchers only considered the verification of single versions. Simply reapplying the original verification techniques on subsequent versions of composite service as they evolve is costly,especially for large-scale services. In this paper, a new approach called Incremental verification(ICV) is proposed to incrementally verify the non-conflict property of evolved versions of Business process execution language(BPEL)based composite service. With a kind of e Xtensible control flow graph(XCFG) as the formal model to describe the BPEL process, ICV compares the new version with the old one to identify the process changes which bring threats to the non-conflict property. Then it concentrates on the changed elements to perform the verification, which reduces the cost by skipping the analysis of unchanged elements.
