1Sex Differences in Diagnosis and Clinical Phenotypes of Chinese Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder显示文摘The aim of this study was to explore the differences between boys and girls in the diagnosis and clinical phenotypes of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in China's mainland. Children diagnosed with ASD(n = 1064, 228 females) were retrospectively included in the analysis. All children were assessed using the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised(ADI-R) and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule(ADOS). The results showed that girls scored significantly higher in ADI-R socioemotional reciprocity than boys, and also scored lower in ADI-R and ADOS restricted and repetitive behaviors(RRBs). Meanwhile, the proportions of girls who satisfied the diagnostic cut-off scores in the ADI-R RRBs domain were lower than in boys(P \ 0.05). Our results indicated that girls with ASD show greater socio-emotional reciprocity than boys. Girls also tended to show fewer RRBs than boys, and the type of RRBs in girls differ from those in boys. 2Dynamic Clustering of Coordinated Multi-point Transmission Based on Friends Algorithm显示文摘Coordinated multi-point(Co MP) transmission has been regarded as a fascinating technology for4 G wireless communication systems. In this paper, the Co MP dynamic clustering problem is studied, a Friends algorithm(F-A) is proposed based on the procedure of making friends in human society, and then a dynamic clustering scheme is proposed based on F-A. The mutual interference among cells of the network is considerate in this algorithm, which can be obtained by CSI feedback.Compared to Traversal search(T-S) algorithm, the proposed algorithm has lower computational complexity, and the performance is almost equal. 3Comparative authentication of Semiliquidambar cathayensis and its substituted species via macroscopic and microscopic features显示文摘Objective:Ban Fenghe recorded in the Quality Standard of Yao Medicine of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region(Volume 1)is derived from the dried stems and leaves of Semiliquidambar cathayensis.It is usually confused with medicinal herbs from Pterospermum heterophyllum and Dendropanax dentiger.However,they are very different in chemical composition,and should not be used as the same drug.To ensure their safety and efficacy,a method based on macroscopic and microscopic characteristics was developed to distinguish them.Methods:A total of 14 batches of Ban Fenghe samples from three species were collected from different producing areas in China.The macroscopic characteristics were examined by observing external traits.The tissue structures of transverse sections of stems and leaves,the leaf epidermis,and the powder were observed microscopically.Results:The branchlets and leaf surfaces of S.cathayensis and P.heterophyllum were hairy,especially the lower leaf surfaces of P.heterophyllum were densely covered with hairs,but those of D.dentiger were hairless.The pericyclic fibers of S.cathayensis stems were intermittently distributed in a circular shape and accompanied by stone cells,whereas those of P.heterophyllum and D.dentiger were bundled without stone cells.So stone cells and hairs were present in S.cathayensis powder,stone cells were not found in P.heterophyllum and D.dentiger powder,and hairs were not present in D.dentiger powder.The distribution sites,sizes and types of secretory tissues of these three species were also different in transverse sections of stems and leaves.Stomata on the lower epidermis of S.cathayensis leaves were paracytic,whereas those of P.heterophyllum and D.dentiger were anomocytic.Conclusion:Ban Fenghe drugs derived from S.cathayensis could readily be distinguished from those of P.heterophyllum and D.dentiger by macroscopic and microscopic features.Dan Zhu Xincheng Qu Xuemei Sun Shihuan Yan Hongwei Guo Yaoli Li 2022Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,4:0
4A novel predictor of unsustained return of spontaneous circulation in cardiac arrest patients through a combination of capnography and pulse oximetry: a multicenter observational study显示文摘BACKGROUND:Unsustained return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)is a critical barrier to survival in cardiac arrest patients.This study examined whether end-tidal carbon dioxide(ETCO_(2))and pulse oximetry photoplethysmogram(POP)parameters can be used to identify unsustained ROSC.METHODS:We conducted a multicenter observational prospective cohort study of consecutive patients with cardiac arrest from 2013 to 2014.Patients’general information,ETCO_(2),and POP parameters were collected and statistically analyzed.RESULTS:The included 105 ROSC episodes(from 80 cardiac arrest patients)comprised 51 sustained ROSC episodes and 54 unsustained ROSC episodes.The 24-hour survival rate was significantly higher in the sustained ROSC group than in the unsustained ROSC group(29.2%vs.9.4%,P<0.05).The logistic regression analysis showed that the difference between after and before ROSC in ETCO_(2)(ΔETCO_(2))and the difference between after and before ROCS in area under the curve of POP(ΔAUCp)were independently associated with sustained ROSC(odds ratio[OR]=0.931,95%confi dence interval[95%CI]0.881-0.984,P=0.011 and OR=0.998,95%CI 0.997-0.999,P<0.001).The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve ofΔETCO_(2),ΔAUCp,and the combination of both to predict unsustained ROSC were 0.752(95%CI 0.660-0.844),0.883(95%CI 0.818-0.948),and 0.902(95%CI 0.842-0.962),respectively.CONCLUSION:Patients with unsustained ROSC have a poor prognosis.The combination ofΔETCO_(2) andΔAUCp showed signifi cant predictive value for unsustained ROSC.Jing Yang Hanqi Tang Shihuan Shao Feng Xu Yangyang Fu Shengyong Xu Chen Li Yan Li Yang Liu Joseph Harold Walline Huadong Zhu Yuguo Chen Xuezhong Yu Jun Xu 2024World Journal of Emergency Medicine2024,15,1:0
