1Effect of size and crystalline phase of TiO2 nanotubes on cell behaviors: A high throughput study using gradient TiO2 nanotubes显示文摘The research of TiO2 nanotubes(TNTs)in the field of biomedicine has been increasingly active.However,given the diversity of the nanoscale dimension and controversial reports,our understanding of the structure-property relationships of TNTs is not yet complete.In this paper,gradient TNTs with a wide diameter range of 20-350 nm were achieved by bipolar electrochemistry and utilized for a thorough high-throughput study of the effect of nanotube dimension and crystalline phase on protein adsorption and cell behaviors.Results indicated that protein adsorption escalated with nanotube dimension whereas cell proliferation and differentiation are preferred on small diameter(<70 nm)nanotubes.Large diameter anatase nanotubes had higher adsorption of serum proteins than as-prepared ones.But only as-prepared small diameter nanotubes presented slightly higher cell proliferation than corresponding annealed nanotubes whereas there was no discernible difference between as-prepared and annealed nanotubes on cell differentiation for the entire gradient.Those findings replenish previous research about how cell responses to TNTs with a wide diameter range and provide scientific guidance for the optimal design of biomedical materials.Yanran Li Si Wang Yuanjun Dong Ping Mu Yun Yang Xiangyang Liu Changjian Lin Qiaoling Huang 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:3
2Characteristics of Shale Reservoir and Sweet Spot Identification of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Northwestern Hunan Province, China显示文摘The accumulation and productivity of shale gas are mainly controlled by the characteristics of shale reservoirs;study of these characteristics forms the basis for the shale gas exploitation of the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation(Fm),Southern China.In this study,core observation and lithology study were conducted along with X-ray diffraction(XRD)and electronic scanning microscopy(SEM)examinations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption and CH4 isothermal adsorption experiments for several exploration wells in northwestern Hunan Province,China.The results show that one or two intervals with high-quality source rocks(TOC>2 wt%)were deposited in the deep-shelf facies.The source rocks,which were mainly composed of carbonaceous shales and siliceous shales,had high quartz contents(>40 wt%)and low clay mineral(<30 wt%,mainly illites)and carbonate mineral(<20 wt%)contents.The SEM observations and liquid nitrogen(N2)adsorption/desorption experiments showed that the shale is tight,and nanoscale pores and microscale fractures are well developed.BJH volume(VBJH)of shale ranged from 2.144×10^-3 to 20.07×10^-3 cm^3/g,with an average of 11.752×10^-3 cm3/g.Pores mainly consisted of opened and interconnected mesopores(2–50 nm in diameter)or macropores(>50 nm in diameter).The shale reservoir has strong adsorption capacity for CH4.The Langmuir volume(VL)varied from 1.63 to 7.39 cm^3/g,with an average of 3.95 cm^3/g.The characteristics of shale reservoir are controlled by several factors:(1)A deep muddy continental shelf is the most favorable environment for the development of shale reservoirs,which is controlled by the development of basic materials.(2)The storage capacity of the shale reservoir is positively related to the TOC contents and plastic minerals and negatively related to cement minerals.(3)High maturity or overmaturity leads to the growth of organic pores and microfractures,thereby improving the reservoir storage capacity.It can be deduced that the high percentage of residual gas in Niutitang Fm results from the strong reservoir storage capacity of adsorbed gas.Two layers of sweet spots with strong storage capacity of free gas,and they are characterized by the relatively high TOC contents ranging from 4 wt%to 8 wt%.QIN Mingyang CAO Zheng GUO Jianhua HUANG Yanran SUN Lianpu DONG Li 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,3:3
3The formation environment and development modes of Cenozoic source rocks in the Qiongdongnan Basin显示文摘According to the drilling results,there are three sets of source rocks of the Cenozoic Group in the Qiongdongnan Basin,including the Yacheng Formation transitional facies mudstone,the Oligocene Lingshui Formation semi-enclosed marine facies mudstone,and the Miocene neritic-bathyal facies mudstone.The hydrocarbon generating conditions of the source rocks in the study area are mainly controlled by sedimentary environment and organic matter input.The abundance of organic matter in the Oligocene source rocks which were formed in a low-energy back shore environment is confined by organic matter input and hydrodynamic condition.The Miocene source rocks formed in the open marine environment lack terrestrial organic matter input,whose organic matter abundance is constrained by the primary production of the ocean and the preservation condition of organic matter.In addition,the redox conditions are also significant to the formation of source rocks in the study area.According to the differences in key factors controlling the development of source rocks in different time periods and structural belts revealed by drilling practice,three development patterns of source rocks have been put forward.The first one is the transitional facies model featuring a great deal of terrestrial organic matter and weakly hydrodynamic conditions which are apt to develop high effective source rocks in the Yacheng Formation.The second one is the semi-enclosed marine facies featuring abundant terrestrial organic matter,weakly hydrodynamic condition and fine preservation condition in the central depression zone,which are apt to form fine-quality source rocks in the Lingshui Formation.The third one is the marine facies model featuring strong hydrodynamics in the shore-shallow area of northern continental shelf and the lack of benthic algae which are against the development of source rocks.It can be predicted that the continental slope is the perfect place to form source rocks where adequate amounts of light favor the photosynthesis of plants,besides the fine preservation and weakly hydrodynamic conditions.In the deep sea area,although accompanied with weakly hydrodynamic conditions and a reduction environment,it is not suitable for the development of source rocks on account of less aquatic organisms causing low primary production.LI Wenhao ZHANG Zhihuan LI Youchuan FU Ning HUANG Yanran ZAN Ling ZHANG Huimin 2012Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2012,31,4:1
4Geochemistry and geological significance of the Upper Paleozoic and Mesozoic source rocks in the Lower Yangtze region显示文摘The Lower Yangtze region is one of the important marine sedimentation areas of oil and gas distribution in southern China,for its favorable source rocks,reservoirs and covers.However,the intense tectonic movements and complex hydrocarbon generation process made it highly impossible to form large-sized oil and gas reservoirs.So it was divided to different hydrocarbon-bearing preservation units in oil-gas exploration.Recent study shows that the Permian and Lower Triassic source rocks in the Lower Yangtze region are complicated in lithology.The hydrocarbon generation potential of limestone there is low while argillaceous source rocks are overall of high abundance with excellent organic types,now in the process of hydrocarbon generation,so differences in high maturity influence the evaluation of organic matter abundance and type.Biomarker characteristics indicate a reductive environment.n-alkanes are marked by a single peak,with no odd-even predominance.The composition and distribution of the carbon numbers of n-alkanes,and the high abundance of long-chain tricyclic terpanes are indicative of marine sedi-mentation.The high contents of pregnane,homopregnane,rearranged hopane suggest that the source rocks are of high maturity.There is a good linear correlation between methylphenanthrene index and vitrinite reflectance.The correlation of oil-source rocks indicated that the oil of Well HT-3 may come from the Permian Longtan Formation in the Huangqiao area,the oil of Wells Rong-2 and Juping-1 came from the Lower Triassic Qinglong Formation in the Jurong area.The exploration here is promising in those different source rocks which all have great potential in hy-drocarbon generating,and oil and gas were produced in the late stage of hydrocarbon generation.HUANG Yanran ZHANG Zhihuan WU Liyuan ZANG Chunjuan LI Qiong 2012Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2012,31,3:1

7A novel FGFR1 inhibitor CYY292 suppresses tumor progression,invasion,and metastasis of glioblastoma by inhibiting the Akt/GSK3β/snail signaling axis显示文摘Glioblastoma(GBM)is a malignant brain tumor that grows quickly,spreads widely,and is resistant to treatment.Fibroblast growth factor receptor(FGFR)1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase that regulates cellular processes,including proliferation,survival,migration,and dif-ferentiation.FGFR1 was predominantly expressed in GBM tissues,and FGFR1 expression was negatively correlated with overall survival.We rationally designed a novel small molecule CYY292,which exhibited a strong affinity for the FGFR1 protein in GBM cell lines in vitro.CYY292 also exerted an effect on the conserved Ser777 residue of FGFR1.CYY292 dose-depen-dently inhibited cell proliferation,epithelial-mesenchymal transition,stemness,invasion,and migration in vitro by specifically targeting the FGFR1/AKT/Snail pathways in GBM cells,and this effect was prevented by pharmacological inhibitors and critical gene knockdown.In vivo experiments revealed that CYY292 inhibited U87MG tumor growth more effectively than AZD4547.CYY292 also efficiently reduced GBM cell proliferation and increased survival in orthotopic GBM models.This study further elucidates the function of FGFR1 in the GBM and reveals the effect of CYY292,which targets FGFR1,on downstream signaling pathways directly reducing GBM cell growth,invasion,and metastasis and thus impairing the recruitment,activation,and function of immune cells.Yanran Bi Ruiling Zheng Jiahao Hu Ruiqing Shi Junfeng Shi Yutao Wang Peng Wang Wenyi Jiang Gyudong Kim Zhiguo Liu Xiaokun Li Li Lin 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,1:0
8Highly sensitive humidity sensors based on hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets for contactless sensing显示文摘Humidity sensors with high sensitivity,rapid response,and facile fabrication process for contactless sensing applications have received considerable attention in recent years.Herein,humidity sensors based on hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)nanosheets that are synthesized by a facile ultrasonic process have been fabricated,which display an ultrahigh sensitivity of 28,384%at 85%relative humidity(RH),rapid response/recovery time(3.0/5.5 s),and long-term stability in a wide humidity detection range(11%-85%RH),superior to most of the reported humidity sensors.The high sensitivity can be ascribed to the massive hydrophilic functional groups absorbed on the h-BN nanosheet surface.Benefiting from the high humidity sensing performances,contactless Morse code messaging and human writing and speech recognition have been demonstrated.This work demonstrates the great potential of the high-performance h-BN nanosheet-based humidity sensors for future contactless sensing devices.Hang Liu Jinxu Qin Xigui Yang Chaofan Lv Wentao Huang Fukui Li Chuang Zhang Yanran Wu Lin Dong Chongxin Shan 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
9Removal of arsenic by pilot-scale vertical flow constructed wetland显示文摘Four pilot-scale Vertical Flow Constructed Wetlands(VFCWs)filled with gravel and planted with Phragmites australis were operated for seven months in the field to study the efficiency of arsenic removal in contaminated wastewater.The average arsenic removal efficiency by the VFCWs was 52.0%±20.2%,52.9%±21.3%,and 40.3%±19.4%at the theoretical concentrations of 50µg/L(CW50),100µg/L(CW100),and 500µg/L(CW500)arsenic in the wastewater,respectively.The results also showed no significant differences in the removal efficiency for conventional contaminants(nitrogen,phosphorus,or chemical oxygen demand)between wastewater treatments that did or did not contain arsenic(P>0.05),except for phosphorus in CW500.The highest average monthly removal rate of arsenic occurred in August(55.9%–74.5%)and the lowest in November(7.8%–15.5%).The arsenic removal efficiency of each VFCW was positively correlated with temperature(P<0.05).Arsenic accumulated in both substrates and plants,with greater accumulation associated with increased arsenic concentrations in the influent.The maximum accumulated arsenic concentrations in the substrates and plants at the end of the experiment were 4.47 mg/kg and 281.9 mg/kg,respectively,both present in CW500.The translocation factor(TF)of arsenic in the reeds was less than 1,with most of the arsenic accumulating in the roots.The arsenic mass balance indicated that substrate accumulation contributed most to arsenic removal(19.9%–30.4%),with lower levels in plants(3.8%–9.5%).In summary,VFCWs are effective for the treatment of arsenic-containing wastewater.Yaocheng Fan Tiancui Li Deshou Cun Haibing Tang Yanran Dai Feihua Wang Wei Liang 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,4:0

12Controllable coating NiAl-layered double hydroxides on carbon nanofibers as anticorrosive microwave absorbers显示文摘For harsh real-world service settings,it is essential to build corrosion-resistant,diverse,and effective microwave absorbers.Herein,we successfully prepared a 3D NiAl-layered double hydroxide/carbon nanofibers(NiAl-LDH/CNFs)composite material as an anticorrosive microwave absorber assisted by an atomic layer deposition(ALD)method.The size,coating thickness,and content of NiAl-LDH can be readily adjusted by changing the ALD cycling numbers.The optimized NiAl-LDH/CNFs demonstrates prominent microwave absorbing properties including the strongest reflection loss of–55.65 dB and the widest effective absorption bandwidth of 4.80 GHz with only 15 wt%loading.The reasons for performance improvement are the cooperative effect of interfacial polarization loss,conduction loss,and three-dimensional porous structure.Moreover,due to the synergistic effects between the excellent impermeability of CNFs and the trapping ability of NiAl-LDH for chloride ions,NiAl-LDH/CNFs exhibits strong corrosion resistances under acidic,neutral,and alkaline conditions.NiAl-LDH/CNFs should be a potential candidate to simultaneously use for microwave absorption and corrosion resistance,and this work provides a certain guiding significance for designing microwave absorbers that satisfy the corrosion resistance.Ying Zhang Liang Li Changlong Du Gengping Wan Qiyi Wei Xueqing Zhou Yanran Su Yang Xu Guizhen Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,20:0

15Dibutyl phthalate adsorption characteristics using three common substrates in aqueous solutions显示文摘In recent years,the presence and adverse impacts of phthalic acid esters m aquatic environments have gained increasing attention.This work investigated the adsorption behavior of a typical phthalic acid ester,dibutyl phthalate(DBP),onto steel slag,gravel,and shell sand(substrates commonly used in constructed wetlands).The influence of dissolved organic matter(DOM)on DBP adsorption was investigated using humic acid as a proxy for DOM.The results demonstrated that the adsorption of DBP to three substrates reached equilibrium within 96 h,and the adsorption kinetics were well fitted by a pseudo-second-order model.The DBP adsorption isotherms were best fitted by the Langmuir adsorption model.The DBP adsorption capacity decreased in the order of steel slag>gravel>sheII sand,with values of 656 mg/kg,598 mg/kg,and 6.62 mg/kg at 25°C,respectively.DBP adsorbed to the surface of all substrates in a monolayer via an endothermic process.The DBP adsorption capacities of steel slag and gravel decreased as the DOM content increased.The DBP adsorption mechanisms to steel slag and gravel mainly involved the surface coordination of DBP with-OH or-COOH groups and electrostatic interactions.The results of this work suggest that steel slag and gravel may be ideal substrates for use in constructed wetlands to treat wastewater polluted with DBP.Tiancui Li Yaocheng Fan Deshou Cun Yanran Dai Wei Liang 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,2:0

17Aerobic glycolysis in colon cancer is repressed by naringin via the HIF1Α pathway显示文摘Metabolic reprogramming is a common phenomenon in cancer,with aerobic glycolysis being one of its important characteristics.Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF1Α)is thought to play an important role in aerobic glycolysis.Meanwhile,naringin is a natural flavanone glycoside derived from grapefruits and many other citrus fruits.In this work,we identified glycolytic genes related to HIF1Αby analyzing the colon cancer database.The analysis of extracellular acidification rate and cell function verified the regulatory effects of HIF1Αoverexpression on glycolysis,and the proliferation and migration of colon cancer cells.Moreover,naringin was used as an inhibitor of colon cancer cells to illustrate its effect on HIF1Αfunction.The results showed that the HIF1Αand enolase 2(ENO2)levels in colon cancer tissues were highly correlated,and their high expression indicated a poor prognosis for colon cancer patients.Mechanistically,HIF1Αdirectly binds to the DNA promoter region and upregulates the transcription of ENO2;ectopic expression of ENO2 increased aerobic glycolysis in colon cancer cells.Most importantly,we found that the appropriate concentration of naringin inhibited the transcriptional activity of HIF1Α,which in turn decreased aerobic glycolysis in colon cancer cells.Generally,naringin reduces glycolysis in colon cancer cells by reducing the transcriptional activity of HIF1Αand the proliferation and invasion of colon cancer cells.This study helps to elucidate the relationship between colon cancer progression and glucose metabolism,and demonstrates the efficacy of naringin in the treatment of colon cancer.Guangtao PAN Ping ZHANG Aiying CHEN Yu DENG Zhen ZHANG Han LU Aoxun ZHU Cong ZHOU Yanran WU Sen LI 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,3:0

19Survey of Shanghai Residents’ Perceptions of Buying Prescription Drugs Online显示文摘Objective To investigate the willingness of Shanghai residents to buy prescription drugs online.Methods By using e-questionnaire,Shanghai residents’perceptions of online prescription drugs were investigated,and 206 valid questionnaires were collected.Results and Conclusion 96.1%of the respondents knew the correct definition of prescription drugs.46.6%knew they could buy prescription drugs online.67.7%,through social media,knew they could buy prescription drugs online.72.3%knew a medical prescription should be required when buying prescription drugs online.And 83.5%refused to buy prescription drugs online because they were concerned about the quality and safety of drugs.The publicity of online-pharmacies and prescription drugs should be increased in China.Besides,the government supervision should be strengthened in the whole process of service to protect consumers’rights and benefits.Then,the channels of online purchase must be optimized for customers.Lastly,a medical insurance payment system should be set up for buying prescription drugs online.Yan Weijie Li Lingxi Li Yanran Min Jie Zhang Zhixuan Zhou Yuliang Huang Jiaoling Zhang Li 2021Asian Journal of Social Pharmacy2021,16,4:0
