| 1 | Preparation and characterization of porous titania-grafted poly(styrene-divinylbenzene)/maleic anhydride nanocomposite microspheres显示文摘Mesoporous titania-grafted poly(styrene-divinylbenzene)/maleic anhydride [P(St-DVB)/MA] nanocomposite microspheres were prepared by an open ring reaction method.The titania nanoparticles were first modified by attachment of amino groups to their surface to prevent particle aggregation,and to allow the nanoparticles to covalently bond the polymer microspheres,the surface of which was modified by attachment of MA functional groups to enable the polymer to retain their porous structures and to react with the amino groups on the surface of the titania particles.The porous nanocomposite microspheres were detected by FTIR,SEM,TEM,XRD and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.The results indicated that the nanocomposite microspheres were composed of nanosized titania uniformly distributed on the surface,and exhibited better UV absorbing property than pure polymer microspheres or unmodified titania.Furthermore,compared with pure porous polymer microspheres,the nanocomposite microspheres showed more efficient UV protection and slow release of Parsol-1789(a photo-reactive and cosmetic agent) held inside the porous network of the microspheres. | Li Sen Wang Kuan Zhang ZhiRen Song ChunLian Cheng Jiang Yang ZhuoRu Wen XiuFang Pi PiHui | 2010 | Science China Chemistry2010,53,3: | 3 |
| 2 | Region-aware neural graph collaborative filtering for personalized recommendation显示文摘Personalized recommender systems have been widely deployed in various scenarios to enhance user experience in response to the challenge of information explosion.Especially,personalized recommendation models based on graph structure have advanced greatly in predicting user preferences.However,geographical region entities that reflect the geographical context of the items is not being utilized in previous works,leaving room for the improvement of personalized recommendation.This study proposes a region-aware neural graph collaborative filtering(RA-NGCF)model,which introduces the geographical regions for improving the prediction of user preference.The approach first characterizes the relationships between items and users with a user-item-region graph.And,a neural network model for the region-aware graph is derived to capture the higher-order interaction among users,items,and regions.Finally,the model fuses region and item vectors to infer user preferences.Experiments on real-world dataset results show that introducing region entities improves the accuracy of personalized recommendations.This study provides a new approach for optimizing personalized recommendation as well as a methodological reference for facilitating geographical regions for optimizing spatial applications. | Shengwen Li Renyao Chen Chenpeng Sun Hong Yao Xuyang Cheng Zhuoru Li Tailong Li Xiaojun Kang | 2022 | International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1: | 0 |

| 4 | IbNIEL-mediated degradation of IbNAC087 regulates jasmonic acid-dependent salt and drought tolerance in sweet potato显示文摘Sweet potato(Ipomoea batatas[L.]Lam.)is a crucial staple and bioenergy crop.Its abiotic stress tolerance holds significant importance in fully utilizing marginal lands.Transcriptional processes regulate abiotic stress responses,yet the molecular regulatory mechanisms in sweet potato remain unclear.In this study,a NAC(NAM,ATAF1/2,and CUC2)transcription factor,IbNAC087,was identified,which is commonly upregulated in salt-and drought-tolerant germplasms.Overexpression of IbNAC087 increased salt and drought tolerance by increasing jasmonic acid(JA)accumulation and activating reactive oxygen species(ROS)scavenging,whereas silencing this gene resulted in opposite phenotypes.JA-rich IbNAC087-OE(overexpression)plants exhibited more stomatal closure than wild-type(WT)and IbNAC087-Ri plants under NaCl,polyethylene glycol,and methyl jasmonate treatments.IbNAC087 functions as a nuclear transcriptional activator and directly activates the expression of the key JA biosynthesisrelated genes lipoxygenase(IbLOX)and allene oxide synthase(IbAOS).Moreover,IbNAC087 physically interacted with a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase NAC087-INTERACTING E3 LIGASE(IbNIEL),negatively regulating salt and drought tolerance in sweet potato.IbNIEL ubiquitinated IbNAC087 to promote 26S proteasome degradation,which weakened its activation on IbLOX and IbAOS.The findings provide insights into the mechanism underlying the IbNIEL-IbNAC087 module regulation of JA-dependent salt and drought response in sweet potato and provide candidate genes for improving abiotic stress tolerance in crops. | Xu Li Zhen Wang Sifan Sun Zhuoru Dai Jun Zhang Wenbin Wang Kui Peng Wenhao Geng Shuanghong Xia Qingchang Liu Hong Zhai Shaopei Gao Ning Zhao Feng Tian Huan Zhang Shaozhen He | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2024,66,2: | 0 |

| 6 | Indoor metabolites and chemicals outperform microbiome in classifying childhood asthma and allergic rhinitis显示文摘Indoor microorganisms impact asthma and allergic rhinitis(AR),but the associated microbial taxa often vary extensively due to climate and geographical variations.To provide more consistent environmental assessments,new perspectives on microbial exposure for asthma and AR are needed.Home dust from 97 cases(32 asthma alone,37 AR alone,28 comorbidity)and 52 age-and gender-matched controls in Shanghai,China,were analyzed using high-throughput shotgun metagenomic sequencing and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.Homes of healthy children were enriched with environmental microbes,including Paracoccus,Pseudomonas,and Psychrobacter,and metabolites like keto acids,indoles,pyridines,and flavonoids(astragalin,hesperidin)(False Discovery Rate<0.05).A neural network co-occurrence probability analysis revealed that environmental microorganisms were involved in producing these keto acids,indoles,and pyridines.Conversely,homes of diseased children were enriched with mycotoxins and synthetic chemicals,including herbicides,insecticides,and food/cosmetic additives.Using a random forest model,characteristic metabolites and microorganisms in Shanghai homes were used to classify high and low prevalence of asthma/AR in an independent dataset in Malaysian schools(N=1290).Indoor metabolites achieved an average accuracy of 74.9%and 77.1%in differentiating schools with high and low prevalence of asthma and AR,respectively,whereas indoor microorganisms only achieved 51.0%and 59.5%,respectively.These results suggest that indoor metabolites and chemicals rather than indoor microbiome are potentially superior environmental indicators for childhood asthma and AR.This study extends the traditional risk assessment focusing on allergens or air pollutants in childhood asthma and AR,thereby revealing potential novel intervention strategies for these diseases. | Yu Sun Hao Tang Shuang Du Yang Chen Zheyuan Ou Mei Zhang Zhuoru Chen Zhiwei Tang Dongjun Zhang Tianyi Chen Yanyi Xu Jiufeng Li Dan Norback Jamal Hisham Hashim Zailina Hashim Jie Shao Xi Fu Zhuohui Zhao | 2023 | Eco-Environment & Health2023,2,4: | 0 |
