| 4 | Mechanism of the trivalent lanthanides’persistent luminescence in wide bandgap materials显示文摘The trivalent lanthanides have been broadly utilized as emitting centers in persistent luminescence(PersL)materials due to their wide emitting spectral range,which thus attract considerable attention over decades.However,the origin of the trivalent lanthanides’PersL is still an open question,hindering the development of excellent PersL phosphors and their broad applications.Here,the PersL of 12 kinds of the trivalent lanthanides with the exception of La^(3+),Lu^(3+),and Pm^(3+) is reported,and a mechanism of the PersL of the trivalent lanthanides in wide bandgap hosts is proposed.According to the mechanism,the excitons in wide bandgap materials transfer their recombination energy to the trivalent lanthanides that bind the excitons,followed by the generation of PersL.During the PersL process,the trivalent lanthanides as isoelectronic traps bind excitons,and the binding ability is not only related to the inherent arrangement of the 4f electrons of the trivalent lanthanides,but also to the extrinsic ligand field including anion coordination and cation substitution.Our work is believed to be a guidance for designing high-performance PersL phosphors. | Leipeng Li Tianyi Li Yue Hu Chongyang Cai Yunqian Li Xuefeng Zhang Baolai Liang Yanmin Yang Jianrong Qiu | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,3: | 1 |

Computer simulation has shown that the light efficiency and the discrimination capability are greatly enhanced, and the full rotation invariance is preserved after the phase-shifting technique has been used. | 11 | Beam fanning effect and image storage in Ce:KNSBN crystal显示文摘A non-synchronously-numerating experimental system is applied in this research.The effect of the incident beam intensity I and the beam incident angleθon beam fanning effect is investigated with a singular beam incident on Ce:KNSBN crystal.The results show that the beam fanning effect strongly depends on I andθ.The threshold effect of I for the beam fanning in Ce:KNSBN crystal is observed,and the threshold intensity of incident beam keeps the same value of 38.2 mW/cm 2 for differentθ,and the steady beam fanning intensity Ifsat reaches a peak atθ=15°under the same I.In addition,the effect of the incident beam modulated on the beam fanning noise and holographic storage in Ce:KNSBN crystal is studied.And the results suggest that the beam fanning noise is effectively suppressed,and the quality of the reappearance image is greatly improved. | LI PanLai GUO QingLin WANG ZhiJun PANG LiBin LIANG BaoLai | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,8: | 0 |
