| 1 | Intercropping with Solanum nigrum and Solanum photeinocarpum from Two Ecoclimatic Regions Promotes Growth and Reduces Cadmium Uptake of Eggplant Seedlings显示文摘Soil contamination by heavy metals is a serious environmental problem worldwide, and reduction of heavy metal accumulation in vegetables grown on contaminated land is a matter of urgency. A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of intercropping with the Cd hyperaccumulators Solanum nigrum and Solanum photeinocarpum from two ecoclimatic regions, Ya'an and Chengdu,Sichuan Province, China, on the growth and cadmium(Cd) uptake of eggplant(Solanum melongena L.). The biomass, photosynthetic pigment contents, and activities of antioxidant enzymes of eggplant were enhanced by intercropping. The biomass of eggplant was the highest after intercropping with S. photeinocarpum from Ya'an, but did not differ significantly from that after intercropping with S. nigrum from Chengdu. The shoot Cd content of eggplant was significantly reduced by intercropping with the hyperaccumulators,which ranked as follows: S. nigrum from Chengdu > S. nigrum from Ya'an > S. photeinocarpum from Chengdu > S. photeinocarpum from Ya'an, with the decreases being 19.60%, 14.36%, 9.66%, and 6.42%, respectively, as compared with the control. The lowest shoot Cd content and translocation factor of eggplant were attained after intercropping with S. nigrum from Chengdu. | 3 | Synthetical Efficiency-based Optimization for the Power Distribution of Power-split Hybrid Electric Vehicles显示文摘Now the optimization strategies for power distribution are researched widely,and most of them are aiming to the optimal fuel economy and the driving cycle must be preknown.Thus if the actual driving condition deviates from the scheduled driving cycle,the effect of optimal results will be declined greatly.Therefore,the instantaneous optimization strategy carried out on-line is studied in this paper.The power split path and the transmission efficiency are analyzed based on a special power-split scheme and the efficiency models of the power transmitting components are established.The synthetical efficiency optimization model is established for enhancing the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy.The identification of the synthetical efficiency as the optimization objective and the constrain group are discussed emphatically.The optimization is calculated by the adaptive simulated annealing(ASA)algorithm and realized on-line by the radial basis function(RBF)-based similar models.The optimization for power distribution of the hybrid vehicle in an actual driving condition is carried out and the road test results are presented.The test results indicate that the synthetical efficiency optimization method can enhance the transmission efficiency and the fuel economy of the power-split hybrid electric vehicle(HEV)observably.Compared to the rules-based strategy the optimization strategy is optimal and achieves the approximate global optimization solution for the power distribution.The synthetical efficiency optimization solved by ASA algorithm can give attentions to both optimization quality and calculation efficiency,thus it has good application foreground for the power distribution of power-split HEV. | WANG Weida HAN Lijin XIANG Changle MA Yue LIU Hui | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1: | 12 |
| 4 | Accumulation and potential sources of heavy metals in soils of the Hetao area,Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Soil contamination by heavy metals is a problem in agricultural irrigation systems.To assess the accumulation and sources of heavy metals in the Yongji irrigation district of the Hetao area,Inner Mongolia,China,195 soil samples from 39 sites(0–100 cm)were collected,and Zn,Cu,Pb,Cr,and Cd concentrations were analyzed.The mean concentrations were 107.17,32.48,12.31,53.53,and 0.22 mg kg-1,respectively,with no significant differences between soil depths(P>0.05).Concentrations of Zn,Cu,and Cd were higher than the background levels,with moderate accumulation;the contamination factor(CF)values were 1.9,1.7,and 1.9,respectively,and the geoaccumulation index(Igeo)was>0.Concentrations of Pb and Cr were lower than,or close to,the background levels(CF<1,Igeo<0),indicating that they originated from a natural source.The monomial potential ecological risk index(Eri)for Zn,Cu,Pb,and Cr was low;Eri for Cd was 55.73,implying a moderate risk.The grade of potential ecological risk index of the five heavy metals(RI)was low,declining from south to north.The studied soils were contaminated with Zn,Cu,and Cd;principal component(PC)analysis implicated the enrichment of Cd and partial Cu(high loading in PC 2)was related to agricultural activities;Zn and partial Cu,closely associated with PC 3,may have originated from irrigation water from the Yellow River.Future agricultural development should focus on fertilizer and pesticide application and the quality of irrigation water. | Yangchun ZHU Lijin WANG Xueyong ZHAO Jie LIAN Zhenhua ZHANG | 2020 | Pedosphere2020,30,2: | 12 |

| 6 | Effect of nano-oxide layers on the magnetoresistance of ultrathin permalloy films显示文摘Ta/NiFe/Ta ultrathin films with and without nano-oxide layers (NOLs) were prepared by magnetron sputtering followed by a vacuum annealing process. The influence of NOLs on the magnetoresistance (MR) ratio of ultrathin permalloy films was studied. The results show that the influence of grain size and textures on the MR ratio becomes weak when the thickness of the NiFe layer is below 15 nm. A higher MR ratio was observed for the thinner (<15 nm) NiFe film with NOLs. The MR ratio of a 10 nm NiFe film can be remarkably enhanced by NOLs. The coercivity of CoP films decreased with increasing film thickness. The coercivity was 45.37 kA m 1 at the thickness of 300 nm, and decreased to 21.65 kA m 1 at 5.7 μm. Recording performance tests indicate that, for drums with the same size, different recorded magnetic pole density have different thickness requirements. | 8 | Tranexamic acid for acute intracerebral haemorrhage growth based on imaging assessment (TRAIGE): a multicentre, randomised, placebo- controlled trial显示文摘Background Studies show tranexamic acid can reduce the risk of death and early neurological deterioration after intracranial haemorrhage.We aimed to assess whether tranexamic acid reduces haematoma expansion and improves outcome in intracerebral haemorrhage patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion.Methods We did a prospective,double-blind,randomised,placebo-controlled trial at 10 stroke centres in China.Acute supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage patients were eligible if they had indication of haemorrhage expansion on admission imaging(eg,spot sign,black hole sign or blend sign),and were treatable within 8 hours of symptom onset.Patients were randomly assigned(1:1)to receive either tranexamic acid or a matching placebo.The primary outcome was intracerebral haematoma growth(>33% relative or>6 mL absolute)at 24 hours.Clinical outcomes were assessed at 90 days.Results Of the 171 included patients,124(72.5%)were male,and the mean age was 55.9±11.6 years.89 patients received tranexamic acid and 82 received placebo.The primary outcome did not differ significantly between the groups:36(40.4%)patients in the tranexamic acid group and 34(41.5%)patients in the placebo group had intracranial haemorrhage growth(OR 0.96,95% CI 0.52 to 1.77,p=0.89).The proportion of death was lower in the tranexamic acid treatment group than placebo group(8.1%vs 10.0%),but there were no significant differences in secondary outcomes including absolute intracranial haemorrhage growth,death and dependency.Conclusions Among patients susceptible to haemorrhage expansion treated within 8 hours of stroke onset,tranexamic acid did not significantly prevent intracerebral haemorrhage growth.Larger studies are needed to assess safety and efficacy of tranexamic acid in intracerebral haemorrhage patients. | Jingyi Liu Ximing Nie Hongqiu Gu Qi Zhou Haixin Sun Ying Tan Dacheng Liu Lina Zheng Jiahui Zhao Yan Wang Yibin Cao Haomeng Zhu Yunpeng Zhang Lijin Yi Yuehua Pu Miao Wen Zhonghua Yang Shengjun Sun Wenzhi Wang Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2: | 3 |

| 10 | Development and verification of large deformation model considering stiffness deterioration and shear dilation effect in FLAC^(3D)显示文摘The existing constitutive models of rock with strain softening cannot successfully reflect the damageinduced anisotropy and nonlinearity of the post-peak failure behavior under progressive loading. In order to better reflect the nonlinear stress-strain behavior of rock, especially for the post-peak failure behavior,with expected stiffness degradation and large deformation, a modified constitutive model of rock considering stiffness degradation and dilatation behavior at large deformation was proposed in this study. This study analyzes and discusses various attenuation parameters in the proposed nonlinear plastic constitutive model using FLAC^(3D) software. The excavation-induced stress in rocks was calculated by FLAC^(3D) using the Mohr-Coulomb model, conventional strain model, and the proposed modified model. The obtained results of these models were analyzed and compared with field data. This study shows that the simulated results using the proposed new constitutive model matched much more closely with the measured field data, with an average error less than 5%. | 11 | Synthesis of Gd-N Codoped Porous TiO2 Photocatalyst and Its Enhanced Photocatalytic Activities显示文摘Visible-light-active Gd-N codoped porous TiO2(Gd-N-TiO2) photocatalyst was fabricated by an evapora-tion-induced self-assembly route using surfactants as structure-directed agents. As-prepared samples were characte-rized by X-ray diffraction, field-emission scalming electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) method, and ultraviolet-visible absorption spec-troscopy. The results indicated that synergistic reaction occurred when codoping with Gd^3+ and N, which enhancedthe light absorption properties of TiO2. Irregular worm-like particles with wide interparticle spaces were clearlyobserved by TEM. The average particle size of Gd-N-TiO2 decreased to ca. 8 nm because co-doping inhibited theparticles growth significantly. Thus, the specific surface area of Gd-N-TiO2(198.7 m^2/g) was higher than that ofDegussa P25 TIO2(50 m^2/g). Gd-N-TiO2 exhibited a high photocatalytic activity toward methyl orange degradationunder UV-Vis or visible-light irradiation. The Gd-N-TiO2 catalyst also presented a stable performance without losingactivity after four successive photocatalytic experiments. | 13 | Geological and geochemical characteristics of the Baogudi Carlintype gold district(Southwest Guizhou, China) and their geological implications显示文摘The newly discovered Baogudi gold district is located in the southwestern Guizhou Province,China,where there are numerous Carlin-type gold deposits.To better understand the geological and geochemical characteristics of the Baogudi gold district,we carried out petrographic observations,elemental analyses,and fluid inclusion and isotopic composition studies.We also compared the results with those of typical Carlin-type gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou.Three mineralization stages,namely,the sedimentation diagenesis,hydrothermal(main-ore and late-ore substages),and supergene stages,were identified based on field and petrographic observations.The main-ore and late-ore stages correspond to Au and Sb mineralization,respectively,which are similar to typical Carlin-type mineralization.The mass transfer associated with alteration and mineralization shows that a significant amount of Au,As,Sb,Hg,Tl,Mo,and S were added to mineralized rocks during the main-ore stage.Remarkably,arsenic,Sb,and S were added to the mineralized rocks during the late-ore stage.Element migration indicates that the sulfidation process was responsible for ore formation.Four types of fluid inclusions were identified in ore-related quartz and fluorite.The main-ore stage fluids are characterized by an H2O–NaCl–CO2–CH4±N2system,with medium to low temperatures(180–260℃)and low salinity(0–9.08%NaCl equivalent).The late-ore stage fluids featured H2O–NaCl±CO2±CH4,with low temperature(120–200℃)and low salinity(0–7.48%Na Cl equivalent).The temperature,salinity,and CO2and CH4concentrations of ore-forming fluids decreased from the main-ore stage to the late-ore stage.The calculated δ^13C,d D,and δ^18O values of the ore-forming fluids range from-14.3 to-7.0%,-76 to-55.7%,and 4.5–15.0%,respectively.Late-ore-stage stibnite had δ^34S values ranging from-0.6 to 1.9%.These stable isotopic compositions indicate that the ore-forming fluids originated mainly from deep magmatic hydrothermal fluids,with minor contributions from strata.Collectively,the Baogudi metallogenic district has geological and geochemical characteristics that are typical of Carlin-type gold deposits in southwest Guizhou.It is likely that the Baogudi gold district,together with other Carlin-type gold deposits in southwestern Guizhou,was formed in response to a single widespread metallogenic event. | Songtao Li Yong Xia Jianzhong Liu Zhuojun Xie Qinping Tan Yimeng Zhao Minghua Meng Lijin Tan Rong Nie Zepeng Wang Guanghong Zhou Haiyan Guo | 2019 | Acta Geochimica2019,38,4: | 1 |
| 14 | Microstructure Evolution and Grain Coarsening Behaviour During Partial Remelting of Cyclic Extrusion Compression Formed AZ61 Magnesium Alloy显示文摘The effects of CEC passes, isothermal holding time and reheating temperature on the microstructure evolution and grain coarsening behaviour of AZ61 magnesium alloy produced by the recrystallisation and partialmelting (RAP) process were investigated. Before partial remelting, as-cast AZ61 alloy was deformed by cyclic extrusion compression (CEC) with one pass and two pass at 330℃. After CEC, the microstructure consisted of unrecrystallized grains and deformed eutectic compounds. Increasing isothermal holding time resulted in the formation of spheroidal grains surrounded by liquid films. With increasing the isothermal holding time, the solid grain size increased and the degree of spheroidization was improved. With increasing the reheating temperature, namely increasing liquid fraction, the solid grain size obviously decreased during the period from 560℃ to 570℃ and then slightly increased after 570℃, while the shape factor increased monotonously. During partial remelting, increasing reheating temperature can properly short the isothermal holding time to obtain fine structure. Moreover, increasing the numbers of CEC passes could produce finer semi-solid mi- crostructure. The coarsening behavior of solid grains in the semi-solid state obeys Ostwald ripening and grain coalescence mechanisms. The coarsening rate constant, K, was 80 μm3 · s-1 for samples partially remelted at 595℃. | 17 | Value of Fiberoptic Ductoscopy in Diagnosing and Treating Multiporous Nipple Discharge显示文摘OBJECTIVE To explore the value of fiberoptic ductoscopy in diagnosing and treating bilateral and polyporous nipple discharge (ND).METHODS Fiberoptic ductoscopy was conducted in 29 patients with bilateral and polyporous ND.After the ductoscopy,the patients with intraductal papilloma (IDP) underwent a surgical procedure,and the others,identified with galactostasis,mammary duct ectasia (MDE) and obstructive galactophoritis (OG),received a ductoscopy-guided interventional therapy. RESULTS Among 29 cases,and with 79 galactophores examined,IDP was found in 11 cases (37.9% of the total cases),or 13.9% of the galactopores examined.IDP was found in 9 of 11 cases with a bloody nipple discharge,while IDP was seen in 2 of the 18 cases with a non-bloody nipple discharge.The excision accuracy achieved 100% in the cases,and postoperative pathological diagnosis accordance rate reached 88.9%. | 19 | Association Between Lipid Profiles and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy:New Evidence from a Retrospective Study显示文摘Objective To explore the association between lipid profiles and left ventricular hypertrophy in a Chinese general population.Methods We conducted a retrospective observational study to investigate the relationship between lipid markers[including triglycerides,total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein(HDL)cholesterol,non-HDL-cholesterol,apolipoprotein A-I,apolipoprotein B,lipoprotein[a],and composite lipid profiles]and left ventricular hypertrophy.A total of 309,400 participants of two populations(one from Beijing and another from nationwide)who underwent physical examinations at different health management centers between 2009 and 2018 in China were included in the cross-sectional study.7,475 participants who had multiple physical examinations and initially did not have left ventricular hypertrophy constituted a longitudinal cohort to analyze the association between lipid markers and the new-onset of left ventricular hypertrophy.Left ventricular hypertrophy was measured by echocardiography and defined as an end-diastolic thickness of the mterventricular septum or left ventricle posterior wall>11 mm.The Logistic regression model was used in the cross-sectional study.Cox model and Cox model with restricted cubic splines were used in the longitudinal cohort.Results In the cross-sectional study for participants in the highest tertile of each lipid marker compared to the respective lowest,triglycerides[odds ratio(OR):1.2S0,95%CI:1.060 to 1.474],HDL-cholesterol(OR:0.780,95%CI:0.662 to 0.918),and lipoprotein(a)(OR:1.311,95%C7:1.115 to 1.541)had an association with left ventricular hypertrophy.In the longitudinal cohort,for participants in the highest tertile of each lipid marker at the baseline compared to the respective lowest,triglycerides[hazard ratio(HR):3.277,95%C/:1.720 to 6.244],HDL-cholesterol(HR:0.516,95%C7:0.283 to 0.940),non-HDL-cholesterol(HR:2.309,95%C/:1.296 to 4.112),apolipoprotein B(HR:2.244,95%CI:1.251 to 4.032)showed an association with new-onset left ventricular hypertrophy.In the Cox model with forward stepwise selection,triglycerides were the only lipid markers entered into the final model.Conclusion Lipids levels,especially triglycerides,are associated with left ventricular hypertrophy.Controlling triglycerides level potentiate to be a strategy in harnessing cardiac remodeling but deserve to be furdier investigated. | Xuewei Huang Keqiong Deng Juanjuan Qin Fang Lei Xingyuan Zhang Wenxin Wang Lijin Lin Yuming Zheng Dongai Yao Huiming Lu Feng Liu Lidong Chen Guilan Zhang Yueping Liu Qiongyu Yang Jingjing Cai Zhigang She Hongliang Li | 2022 | Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2022,37,2: | 1 |
| 20 | Toward broad optimal output bandwidth dielectric elastomer actuators显示文摘Dielectric elastomer actuators(DEAs)are one of the most promising soft actuation technologies owing to their relatively high power density and electromechanical efficiency enabled by a resonant actuation technique.However,existing DEA designs suffer from a very narrow optimal output bandwidth close to resonance and poor output control capability due to their fixed geometrical configurations.This condition greatly limits their applications in programmable actuation and broad-bandwidth applications.Accordingly,this work developed a novel resonance tunable DEA(RTDEA)design for broad-optimal-output actuation bandwidths that is enabled by an integration of a stiffness and voltage control strategy.This design features a broad resonant frequency adjustment from 84 to 126 Hz and independent tunings of its resonant amplitude and frequency.Parametric studies were conducted to illustrate the fundamental principles behind the resonance tuning strategy,and optimization was performed to maximize the tuning capability.Here,a resonance tuning control strategy is proposed to achieve accurate adjustments of the RTDEA’s resonance based on the stiffness and voltage control strategy.These resonance tunable soft actuators are envisioned to greatly expand DEAs’applications in,for instance,soft robotic locomotion,human–robot communication,and active vibrational control with demands of broad actuation bandwidths and high output performance. | CAO ChongJing CHEN LiJin LI Bo CHEN GuiMin NIE ZeDong WANG Lei GAO Xing | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,5: | 1 |
