1One Stone Four Birds:A Novel Liposomal Delivery System Multi-functionalized with Ginsenoside Rh2 for Tumor Targeting Therapy显示文摘Liposomes hold great potential in anti-cancer drug delivery and the targeting treatment of tumors.However,the clinical therapeutic efficacy of liposomes is still limited by the complexity of tumor microenvironment(TME)and the insufficient accumulation in tumor sites.Meanwhile,the application of cholesterol and polyethylene glycol(PEG),which are usually used to prolong the blood circulation and stabilize the structure of liposomes respectively,has been questioned due to various disadvantages.Herein,we developed a ginsenoside Rh2-based multifunctional liposome system(Rh2-lipo)to effectively address these challenges once for all.Different with the conventional’wooden’liposomes,Rh2-lipo is a much more brilliant carrier with multiple functions.In Rh2-lipo,both cholesterol and PEG were substituted by Rh2,which works as membrane stabilizer,long-circulating stealther,active targeting ligand,and chemotherapy adjuvant at the same time.Firstly,Rh2 could keep the stability of liposomes and avoid the shortcomings caused by cholesterol.Secondly,Rh2-lipo showed a specifically prolonged circulation behavior in the blood.Thirdly,the accumulation of the liposomes in the tumor was significantly enhanced by the interaction of glucose transporter of tumor cells with Rh2.Fourth,Rh2-lipo could remodel the structure and reverse the immunosuppressive environment in TME.When tested in a 4T1 breast carcinoma xenograft model,the paclitaxel-loaded Rh2-lipo realized high efficient tumor growth suppression.Therefore,Rh2-lipo not only innovatively challenges the position of cholesterol as a liposome component,but also provides another innovative potential system with multiple functions for anti-cancer drug delivery.Chao Hong Jianming Liang Jiaxuan Xia Ying Zhu Yizhen Guo Anni Wang Chunyi Lu Hongwei Ren Chen Chen Shiyi Li Dan Wang Huaxing Zhan Jianxin Wang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,10:8
2Associations of egg consumption with incident cardiovascular disease and all-cause mortality显示文摘Eggs are nutrient-dense while also loaded with abundant cholesterol, thus making the public hesitant about their consumption.We conducted the study to investigate if egg consumption is associated with incident cardiovascular disease(CVD) and all-cause mortality. Using the project of Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China, we included 102,136 adults free of CVD and assessed their egg consumption with food-frequency questionnaires. CVD endpoints and all-cause mortality were confirmed during follow-ups by interviewing participants or their proxies and checking hospital records/death certificates.The HRs(95% CIs) were calculated using the cohort-stratified Cox regression models. During 777,163 person-years of followup, we identified 4,848 incident CVD and 5,511 deaths. U-shaped associations of egg consumption with incident CVD and allcause mortality were observed. Compared with consumption of 3–<6/week, the multivariable-adjusted HRs(95% CIs) of <1/week and ≥10/week for incident CVD were 1.22(1.11 to 1.35) and 1.39(1.28 to 1.52), respectively. The corresponding HRs(95% CIs) for all-cause mortality were 1.29(1.18 to 1.41) and 1.13(1.04 to 1.24). 4Performance study of a water ramjet engine显示文摘A performance study of a water ramjet engine is described.The engine is powered by the reaction of a magnesium-based propellant and ingested water.In this study,a solid propellant,which consisted of a large percentage of magnesium,a binder and a small amount of oxidant,was used as a hydro reactive fuel.Cold water was injected into the combustion chamber as a main oxidant.A scaled-down experimental engine was tested in a direct-connect ground testing system to characterize the factors influencing the engine performance.The results show that the increasing of total water/fuel ratio,an addition of secondary water intake along the combustion chamber,a larger magnesium content in the solid propellant,a smaller primary water injection angle towards the coming main flow,and a higher primary injection pressure were all able to promote the engine performance.The maximum engine performance was obtained in test 08,and with all tests,an appropriate set of parameters and conditions for the optimum engine performance wereHUANG LiYa XIA ZhiXun HU JianXin ZHU QianWen 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,4:5
5Metamorphic Evolution and Tectonic Implications of the Granulitized Eclogites from the Luliangshan Terrane in the North Qaidam Ultrahigh Pressure Metamorphic Belt,NW China: New Constraints from Phase Equilibrium Modeling显示文摘The granulitized eclogites from the Luliangshan terrane of the North Qaidam UHP metamorphic belt occur as lenses within pelitic gneisses and orthogneisses. Combined petrologic data and phase equilibrium modeling indicate a multi-stage metamorphic history of the granulitized eclogites:(1) an earlier eclogite facies metamorphism(P>18.5 kbar, T> 830℃) is deduced from omphacite relics in the matrix and rare omphacite inclusions within garnet. The possible assemblage is garnet+omphacite+rutile+ quartz;(2) the early stage of high pressure granulite facies assemblages(garnet+clinopyroxene+ plagioclase+rutile+quartz+liquid) developed in the early decompression process has a P-T regime of 17.5 kbar and 852–858 ℃, constrained by plagioclase and clinopyroxene inclusions in garnet. The late stage of high pressure granulite assemblages(garnet+clinopyroxene+amphibole+plagioclase+rutile+quartz+liquid) records an isothermal decompression process with the pressure successively declining from 17.5 to 14.7 kbar and to 11.3 kbar at 858 ℃;(3) the later medium pressure granulite facies assemblage(garnet+ orthopyroxene+clinopyroxene+amphibole+plagioclase+ilmenite+liquid+quartz) indicates a drop in pressure and rise in temperature at P-T conditions of 7.6–7.7 kbar and 878–883 ℃;(4) retrogressive amphibolite facies stage, which is represented by amphibole+plagioclase kelyphitic rims around garnet, formed under conditions of <5 kbar and <650 ℃. The preservation of medium pressure granulite facies assemblage and the garnet composition feature constrain a following isobaric cooling path during late exhumation. This process suggests a clockwise P-T path and indicates that the granulitized eclogites record a high grade 'Barrovian' metamorphic overprint at the middle-lower crust during exhumation. 6Effect of the structure of ginsenosides on the in vivo fate of their liposomes显示文摘To utilize themultiple functions and give full play of ginsenosides,a variety of ginsenosides with different structures were prepared into liposomes and evaluated for their effect on the stability,pharmacokinetics and tumor targeting capability of liposomes.The results showed that the position and number of glycosyl groups of ginsenosides have significant effect on the in vitro and in vivo properties of their liposomes.The pharmacokinetics of ginsenosides liposomes indicated that the C-3 sugar group of ginsenosides is beneficial to their liposomes for longer circulation in vivo.The C-3 and C-6 glycosyls can enhance the uptake of their liposomes by 4T1 cells,and the glycosyls at C-3 position can enhance the tumor active targeting ability significantly,based on the specific binding capacity to Glut 1 expressed on the surface of 4T1 cells.According to the results in the study,ginsenoside Rg3 and ginsenoside Rh2 are potential for exploiting novel liposomes because of their cholesterol substitution,long blood circulation and tumor targeting capabilities.The results provide a theoretical basis for further development of ginsenoside based liposome delivery systems.Chen Chen Jiaxuan Xia Hongwei Ren Anni Wang Ying Zhu Ru Zhang Zicheng Gan Jianxin Wang 2022Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,2:4

8Synthesis of Gd-N Codoped Porous TiO2 Photocatalyst and Its Enhanced Photocatalytic Activities显示文摘Visible-light-active Gd-N codoped porous TiO2(Gd-N-TiO2) photocatalyst was fabricated by an evapora-tion-induced self-assembly route using surfactants as structure-directed agents. As-prepared samples were characte-rized by X-ray diffraction, field-emission scalming electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET) method, and ultraviolet-visible absorption spec-troscopy. The results indicated that synergistic reaction occurred when codoping with Gd^3+ and N, which enhancedthe light absorption properties of TiO2. Irregular worm-like particles with wide interparticle spaces were clearlyobserved by TEM. The average particle size of Gd-N-TiO2 decreased to ca. 8 nm because co-doping inhibited theparticles growth significantly. Thus, the specific surface area of Gd-N-TiO2(198.7 m^2/g) was higher than that ofDegussa P25 TIO2(50 m^2/g). Gd-N-TiO2 exhibited a high photocatalytic activity toward methyl orange degradationunder UV-Vis or visible-light irradiation. The Gd-N-TiO2 catalyst also presented a stable performance without losingactivity after four successive photocatalytic experiments. 10Experimental study on the ignition and combustion characteristics of a magnesium particle in water vapor显示文摘Magnesium is of interest for underwater propulsion due to the superior ignition behavior of magnesium particles and the highly exothermic Mg-water reaction.In this work,the ignition and combustion characteristics of an individual millimeter-sized magnesium particle in water vapor were studied.In order to build an atmosphere of water vapor,an experiment system was established and validated by the experiments of magnesium particle in air.The ignition and combustion of a single magnesium particle were accomplished in a combustor filled with water vapor.The surface changes of the particle during the ignition and a steady-state vapor phase combustion were observed.Based on the data obtained,ignition mechanism was analyzed and ignition temperature was determined.The steady-state combustion of the sample was controlled by diffusion in gas phase,and a one-dimensional,spherically symmetric quasi-steady model was adopted to describe the process.The dependence of burning time on the diameter was investigated,and the conclusion that burning time is proportional to the square of the metal sample diameter was drawn.HUANG Xu XIA ZhiXun HUANG LiYa HU JianXin 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9:1
11Effects of chlorine dioxide on morphology and ultrastructure of Fusarium sulphureum and its virulence to potato tubers显示文摘The inhibitory effect and its virulence of chlorine dioxide(ClO_(2))against dry rot of potato were investigated.Potatoes were treated by ClO_(2),then observed for indoor bioassay,scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were used to observe the morphology and ultrastructure of hyphae,and evaluated the control efficiency of ClO_(2) on potato tuber(LK99)dry rot by F.sulphureum pre-treatment.The results showed that the pathogen of potato dry rot was sensitive to ClO_(2),the virulence of regression of y=5.05+7.308x,EC50 and EC90 were 0.3490 and 0.6261 respectively,the treatment of ClO_(2) could significantly inhibit the spore germination and mycelium growth of F.sulphureum,which was in a concentration-dependent manner,SEM and TEM observed that the morphology and ultrastructure of F.sulphureum hyphae were regularly damaged by ClO_(2),in vivo experiment further indicated that ClO_(2) could effectively control the dry rot of potato tubers with F.sulphureum,and ClO_(2) at the concentration of 0.75 ug/mL could significantly reduce the incidence of potato tuber dry rot and lesion expansion rate.The study showed that ClO_(2) could greatly against the pathogen of F.sulphureum,which could provide a scientific theoretical basis for the safe and efficient application of ClO_(2) in the prevention and control of potato diseases after harvest.Li Mei Tian Shilong Shen Jin Wang Xizhuo Cheng Jianxin Li Shouqiang Ge Xia Tian Jiachun 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,5:1

15Mature dendritic cell-derived dendrosomes swallow oxaliplatin-loaded nanoparticles to boost immunogenic chemotherapy and tumor antigen-specific immunotherapy显示文摘The cytomembrane-derived delivery platform represents a promising biomimetic strategy in oncotherapy.To achieve durable and reliable tumor inhibition,mature dendrosomes(mDs),which were isolated from bone marrow-derived dendritic cells undergoing CT26 tumor antigen(TA)stimulation,were fused with redox-responsive nanoparticles(NPs)that were composed of poly(disulfide ester amide)polymers with an intensified disulfide density and hydrophobic oxaliplatin(OXA)prodrugs with the ability to potentiate immunogenicity.In vitro and in vivo results revealed that NP/mDs could induce tumor cell death through mitochondrial pathway and thus created immunogenic microenvironments,but also elicited immunocyte differentiation by TA cross-dressing and infiltration by direct presentation.By further neutralizing immune-regulatory interaction,the administration of PD-L1 antibody(αPD-L1)greatly improved antitumor efficiency of NP/mDs.Furthermore,the effectors of host immune systems effectively inhibited the growth and metastasis of distal tumors,likely because the autologous TA evoked by OXA and allogeneic TA delivered by mDs acted as additional stimuli to reinforce the immune response of tumor-specific T cells and immunosurveillance toward oncogenesis.These results demonstrated that NP/mDs could simultaneously realize immunogenic chemotherapeutics and specific TA delivery.In combination withαPD-L1,the antitumor effect was further enhanced.Therefore,NP/mDs provide a promising strategy for the comprehensive treatment of malignancy.Xing Chen Xiang Ling Jiaxuan Xia Ying Zhu Longlong Zhang Yuwei He Anni Wang Guolong Gu Bo Yin Jianxin Wang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,9:0
16Deep-sea Nodule Mineral Image Segmentation Algorithm Based on Pix2PixHD显示文摘Deep-sea mineral image segmentation plays an important role in deep-sea mining and underwater mineral resource monitoring and evaluation.The application of artificial intelligence technology to deep-sea mining projects can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of mining.The existing deep learning-based underwater image segmentation algorithms have problems such as the accuracy rate is not high enough and the running time is slightly longer.In order to improve the segmentation performance of underwater mineral images,this paper uses the Pix2PixHD(Pixel to Pixel High Definition)algorithm based on Conditional Generative Adversarial Network(CGAN)to segment deep-sea mineral images.The model uses a coarse-to-fine generator composed of a global generation network and two local enhancement networks,and multiple multi-scale discriminators with same network structures but different input pictures to generate highquality images.The test results on the deep-sea mineral datasets show that the Pix2PixHD algorithm can identify more target minerals under certain other conditions.The evaluation index shows that the Pix2PixHD algorithm effectively improves the accuracy rate and the recall rate of deep-sea mineral image segmentation compared with the CGAN algorithm and the U-Net algorithm.It is important for expanding the application of deep learning techniques in the field of deep-sea exploration and mining.Wei Song Haolin Wang Xinping Zhang Jianxin Xia Tongmu Liu Yuxi Shi 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,10:0
17Review of Nodule Mineral Image Segmentation Algorithms for Deep-Sea Mineral Resource Assessment显示文摘A large number of nodule minerals exist in the deep sea.Based on the factors of difficulty in shooting,high economic cost and high accuracy of resource assessment,large-scale planned commercial mining has not yet been conducted.Only experimental mining has been carried out in areas with high mineral density and obvious benefits after mineral resource assessment.As an efficient method for deep-sea mineral resource assessment,the deep towing system is equipped with a visual system for mineral resource analysis using collected images and videos,which has become a key component of resource assessment.Therefore,high accuracy in deep-sea mineral image segmentation is the primary goal of the segmentation algorithm.In this paper,the existing deep-sea nodule mineral image segmentation algorithms are studied in depth and divided into traditional and deep learning-based segmentation methods,and the advantages and disadvantages of each are compared and summarized.The deep learning methods show great advantages in deep-sea mineral image segmentation,and there is a great improvement in segmentation accuracy and efficiency compared with the traditional methods.Then,the mineral image dataset and segmentation evaluation metrics are listed.Finally,possible future research topics and improvement measures are discussed for the reference of other researchers.Wei Song Lihui Dong Xiaobing Zhao Jianxin Xia Tongmu Liu Yuxi Shi 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,10:0

19Robust,self-adhesive,and low-contact impedance polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylamide dual-network hydrogel semidry electrode for biopotential signal acquisition显示文摘Herein,we fabricated a flexible semidry electrode with excellent mechanical performance,satisfactory self-adhesiveness,and low-contact impedance using physical/chemical crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylamide dual-network hydrogels(PVA/PAM DNHs)as an efficient saline reservoir.The resultant PVA/PAM DNHs showed admirable adhesive and compliance to the hairy scalp,facilitating the establishment of a robust electrode/skin interface for biopotential signal transmission.Moreover,the PVA/PAM DNHs steadily released trace saline onto the scalp to achieve the minimized potential drift(1.47±0.39 mV/min)and low electrode–scalp impedance(18.2±8.9 kΩ@10 Hz).More importantly,the application feasibility of real-world brain−computer interfaces(BCIs)was preliminarily validated by 10 participants using two classic BCI paradigms.The mean temporal cross-correlation coefficients between the semidry and wet electrodes in the eyes open/closed and the N200 speller paradigms are 0.919±0.054 and 0.912±0.050,respectively.Both electrodes demonstrate anticipated neuroelectrophysiological responses with similar patterns.This semidry electrode could also effectively capture robust P-QRS-T peaks during electrocardiogram recording.Considering their outstanding advantages of fast setup,user-friendliness,and robust signals,the proposed PVA/PAM DNH-based electrode is a promising alternative to wet electrodes in biopotential signal acquisition.Guangli Li Ying Liu Yuwei Chen Yonghui Xia Xiaoman Qi Xuan Wan Yuan Jin Jun Liu Quanguo He Kanghua Li Jianxin Tang 2024SmartMat2024,5,2:0
