2MICROWAVE-ASSISTED EXTRACTION OF GLYCYRRHIZIC ACID FROM LICORICE ROOT-EFFECT OF THE PROPERTY OF SOLUTION ON EXTRACTION OF GA显示文摘The property of extraction solution is an important factor influencing the extraction efficiency. In the present work, the effect of the property of solution on extraction of GA was studied, which including the concentration of ethanol, ammonia and cation (M+), pH of extraction solution, different kinds of organic solvent etc. The results show that 50%-60%(v/v) ethanol can reach high percentage extraction of GA. If 1% (v/v) ammonia solution was added into 60%(v/v) ethanol, the percentage extraction can be increased from 2.0% to 2.31%. Without ammonia, 50mmol/L [M+] (M+ = K+, NH4+) was added into 60%(v/v) ethanol, percentage extraction of GA can reach about 2.26%. If pH of solution (60% ethanol) was adjust to pH=4.0, it can reach high percentage extraction. 4Synthesis and surface modification of magnetic particles for application in biotechnology and biomedicine显示文摘Magnetic particles have numerous applications in biotechnology and biomedicine. In this paper we reviewed the synthesis, surface modification and some applications of magnetic particles with focus on their synthesis and surface modification. Various methods have been developed for the production of magnetic particles (magnetic nanoparticles and magnetic composite particles). For future application magnetic particles must be modified to obtain stability and surface functional groups. 5Extraction of penicillin G by aqueous two-phase system of [Bmim]BF_(4)/NaH_(2)PO_(4)显示文摘A novel approach for the extraction of penicil-lin G by aqueous two-phase system comprised of hydrophilic ionic liquid [Bmim]BF4 (1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium tetra-fluoroborate) and NaH2PO4 is reported. The effects of some important parameters involving the concentration of NaH2PO4, the concentration of penicillin G, the amount of [Bmim]BF4 on the formation of aqueous two-phase system and the extraction yield of penicillin were investigated. 6Synthesis of amino-silane modified magnetic silica adsorbents and application for adsorption of flavonoids from Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch显示文摘Magnetic separation technology was applied in the separation of flavonoids from the licorice root in this work. Licorice flavonoids (LF) displayed a remarkable array of biological and pharmacological activities. The magnetic adsorbents with functional -NH2 groups were synthesized by immobilization of amino-silane on the surface of the magnetic silica supports, which were prepared by co-precipitation method. The adsorption and desorption characteristics of the magnetic adsorbents for the separation of LF have been evaluated. The purity of an enriched extract with this method was 16.7% while the crude extract only had about 6.8% purity. Therefore, it can be concluded that these kinds of magnetic adsorbents have selectivity to the flavonoids to some extent. 7Desulfurization metabolite of Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 and its related desulfurizational gene fragments显示文摘Rhodococcus erythropolis LSSE8-1 is a newly isolated biodesulfurizaion strain from the soil of Chishui gas field, Guizhou Province, China. The analysis of its metabo-lism product shows that the strain is a kind of biocatalyst able to oxidize dibenzothiophene (DBT) to 2-hydroxydi- phenyl (HBP), and therefore the sulfur in DBT is selectively removed. By using DBTO2 (dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide) as substrate, both DBT and HBP are found in the culture, which shows that the reaction from DBT to DBTO2 is re-versible in the cell. While using 0.5 mmol/L DBT as control, 0.01—0.4 mmol/L DBTO2 shows poisonous effect to the cell, which will explain why there is no DBTO2 accumulation in the process of biodesulfurization. After treatment by lysozme, the plasmid DNA of the strain is isolated by alkaline method to be used as the template of PCR reaction. Three dsz gene fragments of 1.3, 1.0 and 1.2 kb respectively were amplified. Each fragment is ligate with PGEM-T vector, and cloned into E. coli. DH5. The clone DNA is sequenced and the result shows that dsz related genes are highly conservative. 8Three-liquid-phase extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI) from acidic leach solutions of high-chromium vanadium–titanium magnetite显示文摘A new method by liquid–liquid–liquid three phase system, consisting of acidified primary amine N1923(abbreviated as A-N1923), poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG) and (NH_4)_2SO_4 aqueous solution, was suggested for the separation and simultaneous extraction of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the acidic leach solutions of highchromium vanadium–titanium magnetite. Experimental results indicated that V(V) and Cr(VI) could be selectively enriched into the A-N1923 organic top phase and PEG-rich middle phase, respectively, while Al(III)and other co-existing impurity ions, such as Si(IV), Fe(III), Ti(IV), Mg(II) and Ca(II) in acidic leach solutions,could be enriched in the(NH_4)_2SO_4 bottom aqueous phase. During the process for extraction and separation of V(V) and Cr(VI), almost all of impurity ions could be removed. The separation factors between V(V) and Cr(VI) could reach 630 and 908, respectively in the organic top phase and PEG middle phase, and yields of recovered V(V) and Cr(VI) in the top phase and middle phase respectively were all above 90%.Various effects including aqueous p H, A-N1923 concentration, PEG added amount and(NH_4)_2SO_4 concentration on three-phase partitioning of V(V) and Cr(VI) were discussed. It was found that the partition of Cr(VI) into the PEG-rich middle phase was driven by hydrophobic interaction, while extraction of V(V) by A-N1923 resulted of anion exchange between NO_3^- and H_2V_(10)O_(28)^(-4). Stripping of V(V) and Cr(VI) from the top organic phase and the middle PEG-rich phase were achieved by mixing respectively with NaNO_3 aqueous solutions and Na OH-((NH_4)_2SO_4 solutions. 10Magnetically rotational reactor for absorbing benzene emissions by ionic liquids显示文摘A magnetically rotational reactor (MRR) has been developed and used in absorbing benzene emissions. The MRR has a permanent magnet core and uses magnetic ionic liquid [bmim]FeCl4 as absorbent. Benzene emissions were carried by N2 into the MRR and were absorbed by the magnetic ionic liquid. The rotation of the permanent magnet core provided impetus for the agitation of the magnetic ionic liquid, enhancing mass transfer and making benzene better dispersed in the absorbent. 0.68 g benzene emissions could be absorbed by a gram of [bmim]FeCl4, 0.27 and 0.40 g/g higher than that by [bmim]PF6 and [bmim]BF4, respectively. 11Reverse micelles extraction ofnattokinase:From model system to real system显示文摘Nattokinase is a novel fibrinolytic en- zyme, which is homologous to Subtilisin Carlsberg. In this paper, Subtilisin Carlsberg was taken as a model protein of nattokinase. Effects of pH, ionic strength, concentration of isopropanol on the extraction of Subtilisin Carlsberg with AOT/isooctane reverse mi- celles system were investigated. Further, the process of reverse micelles extraction of nattokinase from fermentation broth was studied. By taking the reverse micelles of AOT/isooctane as extractant to perform a full extraction cycle, it was found that about eighty percent of the total activity of nattokinase in the fer- mentation broth could be recovered and the purifica- tion factor was about 2.5. 14Preparation and surface modification of magnetic poly(methyl methacrylate) microspheres显示文摘A novel method for preparation of magnetic polymer microspheres by spraying suspension polymerization (SSP) was developed. Relatively uniform magnetic poly(methyl methacrylate) microspheres were prepared by the spraying suspension polymerization (SSP) using methyl methacrylate (MMA) as monomer, divinylbenzene (DVB) as cross-linking agent, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as initiator and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as stabilizer in the presence of hydrophobic Fe3O4 magnetic fluid. The microspheres prepared were modified by surface chemical reaction. The magnetic properties and morphology of the microspheres were examined by SEM and VSM respectively. The active functional groups of microspheres were examined by infrared spectra. 15A novel constant interfacial area cell for determining the extraction kinetics of Er(Ⅲ) from chloride medium显示文摘A novel constant interfacial area cell(NCIAC),by spatially separating the agitation from liquid flow circulation of organic and aqueous two phases,was suggested to obtain detailed kinetic data for Er(Ⅲ) extraction from chloride medium by 2-ethyl-hexyl-phosphonic acid mono-(2-ethylhexyl) ester(EHEHPA).Different from the traditional Lewis cell and the constant interfacial area cell with laminar flow,the concentrations of Er(Ⅲ) in organic and aqueous two phases were uniform,and the stability of the interfacial area between the two phases could be controlled effectively.Therefore,the special requirements for the design of agitators in the traditional Lewis cell and the constant interfacial area cell for minimizing the influence of diffusion resistance could be avoided.Experimental results indicated that the extraction kinetics was mainly affected by the aqueous flow rate,interfacial area between organic and aqueous two phases,and the aqueous p H values.An extraction kinetic equation was suggested based on the experimental data.Chuanxu Xiao Kun Huang Huizhou Liu 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,6:2
16Grouping separation of mixed rare earths from their coexisting aqueous solutions by liquid-column elution显示文摘A new approach was proposed for grouping separation of 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions from their coexisting mixed aqueous solutions, by performing liquid-column elution using the aqueous solution containing 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions as the stationary phase and the dispersed organic oil droplets containing P507 extractant as the mobile phase. It was revealed that 14 lanthanide rare-earth ions could be separated into four groups, according to the lanthanide tetrad effect, respectively eluting out from the liquid column at different time in a certain order. Various effects including the saponification degree of P507, the concentration of P507 in organic phase, the length and inner diameter of the extraction column on the performance of grouping separation of rare-earth ions were discussed. The changes of the mass transfer coefficients were also investigated. The separation efficiency of the four groups of rareearth elements(REEs) was evaluated based on the elution resolution, Rs, of the elution peaks of La(Ⅲ),Gd(Ⅲ), Ho(Ⅲ) and Lu(Ⅲ), the four representative elements respectively from each of the four groups of REEs. Experimental results demonstrated that the separation of REEs by liquid-column elution mainly depended on the competitive adsorption of different rare-earth groups onto the surface of ascending P507 oil droplets. The affinity of different rare-earth groups with P507 extractant and a limited adsorption capacity of P507 molecules at the surface of the oil droplets ascending in liquid column play the important role. 17Effect of bovine serum albumin on the micellization of poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) block copolymers in aqueous solutions by fluorescence spectroscopy显示文摘Effect of bovine serum albumin (BSA) on the temperature-dependent association behavior of poly(ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO-PPO-PEO) block copolymers was investigated using pyrene fluorescence spectroscopy. The critical micellization temperature (CMT) of pluronics in aqueous solution was increased by the addition of BSA. A closed association model was used to obtain the standard free energies (△G0), enthalpies (△H 0), and entropies (△S 0) of micellization. The standard enthalpy and entropy of micellization for pluronic polymers in water were decreased with an increase of the BSA content. The more PPO component in the pluronic polymer, the higher the changed values of micellization enthalpy and entropy. The hydrophobic part of the pluronics, PPO, was responsible for the interaction between pluronics and BSA. 19Selection of adsorbents for in-situ coupling technology of adsorptive desulfurization and biodesulfurization显示文摘In-situ coupling of adsorptive desulfurization and biodesulfurization is a new desulfurization technol- ogy for fossil oil. It has the merits of high-selectivity of biodesulfurization and high-rate of adsorptive desulfurization. It is carried out by assembling nano-adsorbents onto surfaces of microbial cells. In this work, In-situ coupling desulfurization technology of widely used desulfurization adsorbents of γ-Al2O3, Na-Y molecular sieves, and active carbon with Pseudomonas delafieldii R-8 were studied. Results show that Na-Y molecular sieves restrain the activity of R-8 cells and active carbon cannot desorb the sub- strate dibenzothiophene (DBT). Thus, they are not applicable to in-situ coupling desulfurization tech- nology. Gamma-Al2O3 can adsorb DBT from oil phase quickly, and then desorb it and transfer it to R-8 cells for biodegradation, thus increasing desulfurization rate. It is also found that nano-sized γ-Al2O3 increases desulfurization rate more than regular-sized γ-Al2O3. 20Kinetics and the difference for extraction of praseodymium and neodymium from nitrate aqueous solution by [A336][NO_3] using the single drop technique显示文摘The kinetics and the difference for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)extraction from nitrate aqueous solution using trialkylmethylammonium nitrate([A336][NO3])as extractant were investigated by the single drop technique.The dependence of the extraction rate of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)on the concentrations of free Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)ions,the concentrations of Na NO3 and H+in aqueous solutions,and the concentrations of[A336][NO3]in kerosene solutions were discussed and the corresponding extraction rate equations for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)were obtained.These equations demonstrated that the reaction rate constant of Pr(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]was double than that of Nd(Ⅲ).The effect of the addition of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA)on the difference in the extraction rate of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)by[A336][NO3]was also investigated.It was revealed that the difference in the complex formation rates of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with DTPA made a significant impact on the difference in the extraction rates of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3].The ratio of extraction rates of Pr(Ⅲ)to Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]was in proportion to the ratio of complex formation rates of Pr(Ⅲ)to Nd(Ⅲ)with DTPA.The extraction rate difference for Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)with[A336][NO3]increased due to a higher complex formation rate constant of DTPA with the free and un-complexed Nd(Ⅲ)ions in the aqueous nitrate solution than that with Pr(Ⅲ)ions.Therefore,the addition of DTPA in the aqueous nitrate solution is an effective method to intensify the separation of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)in kinetics.The study on the extraction mechanism indicated that both the extraction of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ)by[A336][NO3]were diffusion controlled,and the reactions obeyed SN2 mechanism.The present work highlights a possible approach to strengthen the kinetic separation of Pr(Ⅲ)and Nd(Ⅲ).Xiaoqin Wang Kun Huang Wenjuan Cao Pan Sun Weiyuan Song Huizhou Liu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,5:1
