1Hierarchical magnetic core-shell nanostructures for microwave absorption:Synthesis,microstructure and property studies显示文摘Core-shell nanostructures have attracted considerable attention in the past decades because of their fundamental scientific significance and many technological applications.Recently,it has been reported that the core-shell nanostructures with advanced compositions and complicated morphologies show great potential as high-performance microwave absorbers due to their unique properties,such as large surface areas,multi-functionalities and synergistic effects between the interior core and outer shell.This review article focuses on the recent progress in synthesis and characterization of hierarchical magnetic core-shell nanostructures for microwave absorption applications based on our own work.In addition,several future trends in this field for next-generation microwave absorbers are discussed.LIU JiWei XU JunJie LIU ZhengWang LIU XiaLin CHE RenChao 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,1:8
2Lens Epithelial Cell Proliferation and Cell Density in Human Age-related Cataract显示文摘Purpose: To discuss the potential effect of the lens epithelial cell proliferation inage-related cataract.Methods: In vitro cell proliferation was assayed by MTT method to evaluate the lensepithelial cell density, index, and proliferation capacity in normal lens and all kinds ofage-related cataract. Capsulotomy specimens from all kinds of patients who underwentcataract phacoemulsification extraction surgery were compared with the lens epithelialspecimens from non-cataract lenses of Eye Bank eyes.Results:Lens epithelial cell density of central anterior capsule(LECD) in female normallens was higher than that in male, LECD in nuclear cataract (> NⅢ) was higher thanthat in normal lens, but in the mature cortical cataract, LECD was lower. 3The Averaged-value Model of a Flexible Power Electronics Based Substation in Hybrid AC/DC Distribution Systems显示文摘The concept of a flexible power electronics substation(FPES)was first applied in the Zhangbei DC distribution network demonstration project.As a multi-port power electronics transformer(PET)with different AC and DC voltage levels,the FPES has adopted a novel topology integrating modular multilevel converter(MMC)and four-winding medium frequency transformer(FWMFT)based multiport DC-DC converter,which can significantly reduce capacitance in each sub-module(SM)of a MMC and also save space and cost.In this paper,in order to accelerate speed of electromagnetic transient(EMT)simulations of FPES based hybrid AC/DC distribution systems,an averaged-value model(AVM)is proposed for efficient and accurate representation of FPES.Assume that all SM capacitor voltages are perfectly balanced in the MMC,then the MMC behavior can be modeled using controlled voltage sources based on modulation voltages from control systems.In terms of the averaged current transfer characteristics among the windings of the FWMFT,we consider that all multiport DC-DC converters are controlled with the same dynamics,a lumped averaged model using controlled current and voltage sources has been developed for these four-port DC-DC converters connected to the upper or lower arms of the MMC.The presented FPES AVM model has been tested and validated by comparison with a detailed IGBT-based EMT model.Results show that the AVM is significantly more efficient while maintaining its accuracy in an EMT simulation.Hong Liu Zhanfeng Deng Xialin Li Li Guo Di Huang Shouqiang Fu Xiangyu Chen Chengshan Wang 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,2:2

6Space charge dynamics in epoxy resin under voltage polarity reversal at various temperatures显示文摘Epoxy resin has been used to cast the core of the dry‐type high voltage direct current bushings and can accumulate space charge under high electric fields at high temperatures,which is believed to be a potential threat to the safe operation of dry bushings,especially under polarity reversal.In this study,results of a study of the evolution of space charge and electric field distribution in epoxy resin,under polarity reversal at 10 and 20 kV/mm,and at temperatures between 40 and 100°C,are presented.The results show that the space charge dynamics in epoxy resin during the test were different at various temperatures.At tem-peratures no more than 60°C,space charge accumulation within the samples was not obvious.Instead,a low‐frequency dielectric relaxation process maybe occurs during the polarity reversal,which made the charge peaks on the electrodes after the reversal were slightly smaller than those before the reversal.At temperatures no less than 80°C,considering that the applied electric field has little effect on the barrier reductions of the traps within the samples,the space charge dynamics were mainly governed by a thermally activated process,and the depths of the deepest occupied traps were obtain by analysing the transient processes.Peng Liu Hongliang Zhang Siyu Zhang Xialin Su Zongliang Xie Zongren Peng 2021High Voltage2021,6,5:1
7Fabrication and Thermal Conductivity Improvement of Novel Composite Adsorbents adding with Nanoparticles显示文摘Thermal conductivity is one of key parameters of adsorbents, which will affect the overall system performance of adsorption chiller. To improve adsorbent's thermal conductivity is always one of research focuses in chemisorption field. A new chemical composite adsorbent is fabricated by adding carbon coated metal(Aluminum and Nickel) nanoparticles with three different addition amounts into the mixture of chloride salts and natural expanded graphite aiming to improve the thermal conductivity. The preparation processes and its thermal conductivity of this novel composite adsorbent are reported and summarized. Experimental results indicate that the nanoparticles are homogenously dispersed in the composite adsorbent by applying the reported preparation processes. The thermal conductivity of the composite adsorbent can averagely enlarge by 20% when the weight ratio of the added nanoparticles is 10wt%. Moreover, carbon coated aluminum nanoparticles exhibit more effective enlargement in thermal conductivity than nickel nanoparticles. As for the composite adsorbent of Ca Cl2-NEG, there is a big reinforcement from 30% to 50% for Al@C nanoparticles,however only 10% in maximum caused by Ni@C nanoparticles. 14The clinical comparison of simultaneous bilateral total knee arthroplasty in treatment of osteoarthritis显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the risk and efficacy of simultaneous bilateral total knee arthroplasty(TKA) in treatment of osteoarthritis when compared with sequential bilateral TKA and unilateral TKA. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 162 patients who underwent TKA from 2003 to 2006. The analyses were adjusted for demographics, preexisting medical conditions, and osteoar- thritis diagnosis. Results:Patients undergoing simultaneous bilateral TKA had significantly lower amounts of blood loss, shorter surgical time, shorter hospitalization time, less hospital charges and lower rates of perioperative complications compared with patients undergoing sequential bilateral TKA. No significant difference was found with regard to postoperative complications between the simultaneous bilateral and the unilateral TKA groups. Patient’s knee range of motion and the postoperative Hospital for Special Surgery scores(HSS) were similar for the three groups. 16Data-driven Based Uncertainty Set Modeling Method for Microgrid Robust Optimization with Correlated Wind Power显示文摘Microgrid is considered an important part of the future zero carbon energy systems.However,the uncertainty caused by renewable energy source brings huge challenges to the scheduling of MG and restricts its ability of carbon emission reduction.In this paper,a novel improved multi-ellipsoidal uncertainty set modeling method is proposed to better depict the uncertainty of wind power and reduce the conservativeness of traditional robust optimization.Probabilistic information from historical data is utilized to capture the temporal correlation of forecast error of wind power,as well as the conditional correlation of forecast error with forecast value,making the uncertainty set more data-adaptive to variation of forecast results and more accurate for uncertainty description.A two-stage robust optimization model of a grid-connected microgrid is established based on the proposed uncertainty set and solved by column and constraint generation algorithm.Simulation results based on actual data illustrate the average unbalanced power of microgrid between day-ahead trading and real-time power exchange with utility grid is dropped by nearly 11.16%compared with a deterministic optimization method,11.86%with traditional box uncertainty set-based robust optimization method,and 2.89%with stochastic optimization method.Xinchen Li Yixin Liu Li Guo Xialin Li Chengshan Wang 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,2:0

18Study on Variation of Endogenous Hormones at the Germinating Stage of Tea Spring Shoot显示文摘An HPLC method was used to analyze the contents ana variation of IAA, GA3, ABA and ZT at five stages around the tea shoot germinating in spring. The contents of GA3 and ABA had a top value during the winter and decreased with the growth of tea shoots, while the contents of IAA and ZT had a low value during the winter and increased quickly at the beginning of shoot growth, but soon afterwards increased slowly or decreased a little. The ratio of hormones was closely related to the growth of tea plant. The study indicated that the ratios of GA3 to ABA and IAA to ABA were at low values during the winter and went up with the shoot germinating. When the activity of roots was weak, the ratio of ZT to IAA had a top value, but went down gradually with luxuriant activity of roots. 19Formation of Iodinated Trihalomethane Disinfection By-products by Co-oxidation of Natural Organic Matter with Sodium Hypochlorite and Lead Dioxide显示文摘Iodinated trihalomethanes(I-THMs)in drinking water pipelines have attracted wide attention due to their high toxicity.The coexistence of widely present lead dioxide(PbO_(2))with commonly used disinfectant sodium hypochlorite(NaClO)in drinking water might change the formation characteristics of I-THMs due to the strongly oxidizing properties of PbO_(2).This study investigated the formation of I-THMs during the co-oxidation of natural organic matter including humic acid(HA),extracellular organic matter(EOM),and intracellular organic matter(IOM)of algogenic organic matter by PbO_(2) and NaClO.Triiodomethane(CHI_(3))is the dominant product in the single oxidation system of PbO_(2),whereas trichloromethane(CHCl_(3)),chlorodiiodomethane(CHClI_(2)),and dichloroiodomethane(CHCl2I)are the major products in the single NaClO system.In the co-oxidation system,the dominant I-THMs are similar to those in the single NaClO system.However,the CHCl_(3) content decreased to 56.4%whereas I-THMs concentrations remained unchanged with the increase of PbO_(2) concentration.The main reason is attributed to the reduced residual chlorine content due to the reaction of PbO_(2) with NaClO.IOM is more prone to forming I-THMs than HA and EOM due to the specified structures.This study suggested that PbO_(2) in the drinking water supply pipelines might change the risk of THMs.WANG Junyao HU Xialin LIU Meichuan YIN Daqiang 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,3:0
