| 1 | Optimal Planning of AC-DC Hybrid Transmission and Distributed Energy Resource System: Review and Prospects显示文摘With the highly-extensive integration of distributed renewable energy resources(DER)into the grid,the power distribution system has changed greatly in the structure,function and operating characteristics.On this ground,An AC-DC hybrid DER system becomes necessary for effective management and control over DER.This paper first summarizes the physical characteristics and morphological evolution of AC-DC hybrid DER system.The impact of these new features on system configuration planning is analyzed with respect to its flexible networking,rich operation control modes,and tight sourcenetwork-load-storage coupling.Then,based on a review of the existing research,problems and technical difficulties are figured out in terms of converter modeling,steady-state analysis,power flow calculation,operating scenarios management,and optimization model solution.In light of the problems and difficulties,a framework for the configuration optimization of AC-DC hybrid DER systems is proposed.At last,the paper provides a prospect of key technologies from six aspects including morphology forecasting,coupling interaction analysis,uncertainty modeling,operation simulation,optimization model solving algorithm and comprehensive scheme evaluation. | Xianglong Liu Youbo Liu Junyong Liu Yue Xiang Xiaodong Yuan | 2019 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,3: | 13 |
| 2 | Isolation,identification and characterization of an algicidal bacterium from Lake Taihu and preliminary studies on its algicidal compounds显示文摘In an effort to identify a bio-agent capable of controlling cyanobacterial blooms,we isolated a bacterial strain,A27,which exhibited strong algicidal activity against the dominant bloom-forming species of Microcystis aeruginosa in Lake Taihu.Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis,this strain belongs to the genus Exiguobacterium.This is the first report of an algicidal bacterial strain belonging to the genus Exiguobacterium.Strain A27 exhibited algicidal activity against a broad range of cyanobacteria,but elicited little or no algicidal activity against the two green algal strains tested.The algicidal activity of strain A27 was shown to be dependent on the density of the bacteria and to have a threshold density of 1.5×10 6 CFU/mL.Our data also showed that the algicidal activity of strain A27 depended on different growth stages of Microcystis aeruginosa(exponential ≈ lag phase > early stationary) rather than that of the bacterium itself.Our results also suggested the algicidal activity of strain A27 occurred via the production of extracellular algicidal compounds.Investigation of the algicidal compounds revealed that there were at least two different algicidal compounds produced by strain A27.These results indicated that strain A27 has great potential for use in the control of outbreaks of cyanobacterial blooms in Lake Taihu. | Chuan Tian Xianglong Liu Jing Tan Shengqin Lin Daotang Li Hong Yang | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,10: | 13 |
| 3 | Analysis of key microbial community during the start-up of anaerobic ammonium oxidation process with paddy soil as inoculated sludge显示文摘A sequencing batch reactor(SBR)-anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox) system was started up with the paddy soil as inoculated sludge. The key microbial community structure in the system along with the enrichment time was investigated by using molecular biology methods(e.g., high-throughput 16 S r RNA gene sequencing and quantitative PCR). Meanwhile,the influent and effluent water quality was continuously monitored during the whole start-up stage. The results showed that the microbial diversity decreased as the operation time initially and increased afterwards, and the microbial niches in the system were redistributed. The anammox bacterial community structure in the SBR-anammox system shifted during the enrichment, the most dominant anammox bacteria were Candidatus Jettenia. | 5 | Wavelength-switchable vortex beams based on a polarization-dependent microknot resonator显示文摘We experimentally demonstrated a method of generating continuously wavelength-switchable optical vortex beams(OVBs) in an all-fiber laser. A polarization-dependent microknot resonator(MKR) functions as comb filter and accounts for the narrow linewidth(0.018 nm) of multiwavelength channels. The wavelength interval corresponds to the free spectral range of the MKR. We exploit a fused SMF–FMF(single mode fiber–few mode fiber) mode coupler to obtain broadband mode conversion and successfully achieve multiwavelength switchable OVBs. As far as we know, this is the first report about identical multiwavelength vortex beams with topological charges of 1. It has been verified that each channel of the vortex beams preserves the same orbital angular momentum(OAM) properties through their clear spiral interferograms. | 7 | Effect of system parameters on the size distributions of hollow nickel microspheres produced by an ultrasound-aided electrical discharge machining process显示文摘Ultrasound-aided electric discharge machining(EDM) is an emerging technology for producing hollow nickel microspheres.This technology combines traditional EDM with the cavitation and vibration effects of ultrasound to produce hollow microspheres.In this paper,ultrasound-aided EDM was carried out in a kerosene medium(the working solution).The effects of various parameters on the sizes of microspheres were investigated using scanning electronic microscopy(SEM).Smileview software was used to measure the sizes of the microspheres.Originpro software was used for statistical analysis to determine the size distributions of the microspheres.To study the effects of the system parameters on the sizes of the microspheres,we first investigated the necessity of using an ultrasonic wave with EDM.After comparing the experimental results with and without the ultrasonic field,we found that ultrasound-induced cavitation and vibration effects reduced the diameters of the microspheres.We then studied the effects of several electrical parameters,including the arc current,pulse width,and gap voltage,on the sizes of the microspheres at an ultrasound frequency of 40 kHz.Smaller microspheres could be obtained by lowering the arc current,pulse width,and gap voltage. | Yifan Liu Xianglong Li Fushi Bai Jian Chen Yantao Wang Nan Liu | 2014 | Particuology2014,12,6: | 4 |

| 9 | A heuristic algorithm for cube packing with time schedule显示文摘Packing problem has been proved to be an NP-hard problem. Many algorithms such as simulation annealing algorithm, genetic algorithm and other heuristic algorithms have been proposed to solve twodimensional and three-dimensional packing problem. To solve the cube packing problem with time schedule, this paper first introduces some concepts such as packing level, space distance and average neighbor birth order and then proposes a greedy algorithm. The algorithm tries every feasible corner greedily to calculate the space utilization, packing level, space distance, average neighbor birth order of this placement, and chooses the best placement according to these criteria. Theoretical analysis indicates that the time complexity of this algorithm is O(A2B2C2T 2n5). The experiments show that the average space utilization of non-guillotine cutting test cases is 98.81%, and the average space utilization of guillotine cutting test cases achieves 99.87%. Furthermore, optimal solutions of more than half cases are achieved by this algorithm. | 15 | Genome sequence of Gossypium anomalum facilitates interspecific introgression breeding显示文摘Crop wild relatives are an important reservoir of natural biodiversity. However, incorporating wild geneticdiversity into breeding programs is often hampered by reproductive barriers and a lack of accurate genomicinformation. We assembled a high-quality, accurately centromere-anchored genome of Gossypium anomalum, a stress-tolerant wild cotton species. We provided a strategy to discover and transfer agronomicallyvaluable genes from wild diploid species to tetraploid cotton cultivars. With a (Gossypium hirsutum 3 G.anomalum)2 hexaploid as a bridge parent, we developed a set of 74 diploid chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) of the wild cotton species G. anomalum in the G. hirsutum background. This set of CSSLsincluded 70 homozygous substitutions and four heterozygous substitutions, and it collectively containedabout 72.22% of the G. anomalum genome. Twenty-four quantitative trait loci associated with plant height,yield, and fiber qualities were detected on 15 substitution segments. Integrating the reference genome withagronomic trait evaluation of the CSSLs enabled location and cloning of two G. anomalum genes thatencode peroxiredoxin and putative callose synthase 8, respectively, conferring drought tolerance andimproving fiber strength. | 16 | Optimization modeling method for coal-to-electricity heating load considering differential decisions显示文摘Heating by electricity rather than coal is considered one effective way to reduce environmental problems. Thus, the electric heating load is growing rapidly, which may cause undesired problems in distribution grids because of the randomness and dispersed integration of the load. However, the electric heating load may also function as an energy storage system with optimal operational control. Therefore, the optimal modeling of electric heating load characteristics, considering its randomness, is important for grid planning and construction. In this study, the heating loads of distributed residential users in a certain area are modeled based on the Fanger thermal comfort equation and the predicted mean vote thermal comfort index calculation method. Different temperatures are considered while modeling the users' heating loads. The heat load demand curve is estimated according to the time-varying equation of interior temperature. A multi-objective optimization model for the electric heating load with heat energy storage is then studied considering the demand response(DR), which optimizes economy and the comfort index. A fuzzy decision method is proposed, considering the factors influencing DR behavior. Finally, the validity of the proposed model is verified by simulations. | 20 | Engineering of a NIR-activable hydrogel-coated mesoporous bioactive glass scaffold with dual-mode parathyroid hormone derivative release property for angiogenesis and bone regeneration显示文摘Osteogenesis,osteoclastogenesis,and angiogenesis play crucial roles in bone regeneration.Parathyroid hormone(PTH),an FDA-approved drug with pro-osteogenic,pro-osteoclastogenic and proangiogenic capabilities,has been employed for clinical osteoporosis treatment through systemic intermittent administration.However,the successful application of PTH for local bone defect repair generally requires the incorporation and delivery by appropriate carriers.Though several scaffolds have been developed to deliver PTH,they suffer from the weaknesses such as uncontrollable PTH release,insufficient porous structure and low mechanical strength.Herein,a novel kind of NIR-activable scaffold(CBP/MBGS/PTHrP-2)with dual-mode PTHrP-2(a PTH derivative)release capability is developed to synergistically promote osteogenesis and angiogenesis for high-efficacy bone regeneration,which is fabricated by integrating the PTHrP-2-loaded hierarchically mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)into the N-hydroxymethylacrylamide-modified,photothermal agent-doped,poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-based thermosensitive hydrogels through assembly process.Upon on/off NIR irradiation,the thermoresponsive hydrogel gating undergoes a reversible phase transition to allow the precise control of on-demand pulsatile and long-term slow release of PTHrP-2 from MBG mesopores.Such NIR-activated dual-mode delivery of PTHrP-2 by this scaffold enables a well-maintained PTHrP-2 concentration at the bone defect sites to continually stimulate vascularization and promote osteoblasts to facilitate and accelerate bone remodeling.In vivo experiments confirm the significant improvement of bone reparative effect on critical-size femoral defects of rats.This work paves an avenue for the development of novel dual-mode delivery systems for effective bone regeneration. | Shi Liu Zhengzhe Han Ji-Na Hao Dapeng Zhang Xianglong Li Yuanyuan Cao Jinghuan Huang Yongsheng Li | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,8: | 1 |
