1Evolution and molecular epidemiology of foot-and-mouth disease virus in China显示文摘Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD),caused by foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV),is considered one of the most important viral diseases of cloven-hoofed animals,causing severe economic losses in affected regions of the world.Three serotypes (A,O,and Asia 1) of FMDV have been identified in China since 1958.In addition,the occurrence of novel subtypes within these serotypes has made the epidemiology of FMDV more complicated over the last few years.In this review,we summarize the history and the current epidemiological situation in China,genetic diversity (e.g.,quasispecies dynamics,antigenic heterogeneity,and functional constraints),intertypic recombination,and the evidence for positive selection of different FMDV serotypes.We also assess these genetic data to understand the origin,evolution,and transmission of FMDV,the findings of which may be useful in developing control measures for future epidemics.BAI XingWen LI PingHua BAO HuiFang LIU ZaiXin LI Dong LU ZengJun CAO YiMei SHANG YouJun SHAO JunJun CHANG HuiYun LUO JianXun LIU XiangTao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,21:7
2Infective viruses produced from full-length complementary DNA of swine vesicular disease viruses HK/70 strain显示文摘The full-length cDNA clone of swine vesicular disease virus HK/70 strain named pSVOK12 was constructed in order to study the antigenicity, replication, maturation and pathogenicity of swine vesicular disease virus. In vitro transcription RNA from pSVOK12 transfected IBRS-2 cells and the re- covered virus RNA were isolated and sequenced, then indirect hemagglutination test, indirect im- munofluorescence assays, eleectron microscope test, 50% tissue culture infecting dose (TCID50) assays and mouse virulence studies were performed to study the antigenicity and virulence of the recovered virus. The result showed that the infectious clones we ob- tained and the virus derived from pSVOK12 had the same biological properties as the parental strain HK/70. 3Sequencing and analysis for the full-length genome RNA of foot-and-mouth disease virus China/99显示文摘The complete nucleotide sequence of genomic RNA of foot and mouth disease virus (FMDV) strain China/99 from infected bovine tongue epithelium is presented. The nucleotide sequence extending from the 5′ end of the genomic RNA to the 5′ end of poly (A) tail contains 8173 nucleotides (nt). Its open reading frame, which encodes a single polypeptide of 2332 amino acids, encompasses 6999 nt starting from the initiation codon AUG and terminating at the UAA codon 93 bases upstream from the 5′ end of poly (A) tract. The 5′ untranslated region (UTR) is composed of 1081nt. The consensus of the 1d gene of FMDV strain China/99 compared with that of UKG/6/2001, UKG/12/2001, China/99HN4 and China/3/Tibet is over 97%. The result showed the stains belong to the members of the Pan-Asia family. There is a remarkable differentiation in the function-unknown (FUR), p2 and p3 regions between FMDV isolates from infected cattle and swine, especially in 3a gene. No deletion was found in genes l, 1a, 1b, 2a, 2c, 3b, and 3d. These genes might be indispensable to the surviving of FMDV. 4Defect-induced insulator-metal transition and negative permittivity in La_(1-x)Ba_(x)CoO_(3)perovskite structure显示文摘The development of negative permittivity materials in multifunctional applications requests expansion of their operating frequency and improvement of stability of negative permittivity.Low electron density is beneficial to reduce plasma frequency so that negative permittivity is achieved in kHz region.Negative permittivity achieved by percolating composites is restricted in practicality due to its instability nature at high temperatures.To achieve temperature-stable negative permittivity in kHz region,monophase La_(1-x)Ba_(x)CoO_(3)ceramics were prepared,and the transition from dielectric to metal was elaborated in the perspective of electrical conductivity and negative permittivity.The plasma-like negative permittivity is attained in kHz region,which is interpreted by the collective oscillation of low electron density.The temperature-stable negative permittivity is based on the fact that the plasmonic state will not be undermined at high temperatures.In addition,zero-crossing behavior of real permittivity is observed in La_(0.9)Ba_(0.1)CoO_(3)sample,which provides a promising alternative to designing epsilon-near-zero materials.This work makes the La_(1-x)Ba_(x)CoO_(3)system a source material for achieving effective negative permittivity.Zaixin Wei Zhongyang Wang Ciqun Xu Guohua Fan Xiaoting Song Yao Liu Runhua Fan 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,17:2
5Cloning and Sequence Analysis of Mutant OmpF from Antibiotic Resistant Escherichia coli显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to investigate the mutations of OmpF from an isolated antibiotic resistant Escherichia coli strain.[Methods]The mutant OmpF(mOmpF)from antibiotic resistant E.coli was amplified by PCR with Pfu DNA polymerase and ligated into the expression vector pET28a.Subsequently,the expression vector pET28-mOmpF was sequenced and analyzed by DNAMAN software and Swiss-Model online.[Result]Sequence analysis revealed that the open reading fragment of mOmpF was 903 bp long,which was mutated dramatically compared to that of the 1 020 bp long model OmpF.The DNA sequence shared only54.5%homology with OmpF.mOmpF was 44.6%identical to that of OmpF.Protein structure predication and analysis through Swiss-Model online suggested that the structure of mOmpF changed dramatically compared to OmpF.[Conclusion]The present study provided basis for further analyzing the relationships between the structure and functions of mOmpF from antibiotic resistant E.coli.Xin NIE Li ZHANG Tingting LIU Yang ZHAO Zaixin LI Zhiping ZHAO 2014Agricultural Biotechnology2014,3,3:1

10Identification of portal vein tumor thrombus with an independent clonal origin in hepatocellular carcinoma via multi-omics data analysis显示文摘Objective: Multiple mechanisms underlying the development of portal vein tumor thrombus(PVTT) in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) have been reported recently. However, the origins of PVTT remain unknown. Increasing multi-omics data on PVTTs in HCCs have made it possible to investigate whether PVTTs originate from the corresponding primary tumors(Ts).Methods: The clonal relationship between PVTTs and their corresponding primary Ts was investigated using datasets deposited in public databases. One DNA copy number variations dataset and three gene expression datasets were downloaded for the analyses.Clonality analysis was performed to investigate the clonal relationship between PVTTs and Ts from an individual patient.Differential gene expression analysis was applied to investigate the gene expression profiles of PVTTs and Ts.Results: One out of 19 PVTTs had no clonal relationship with its corresponding T, whereas the others did. The PVTTs with independent clonal origin showed different gene expression and enrichment in biological processes from the primary Ts. Based on the unique gene expression profiles, a gene signature including 24 genes was used to identify pairs of PVTTs and primary Ts without any clonal relationship. Validation in three datasets showed that these types of pairs of PVTTs and Ts can be identified by the 24-gene signature.Conclusions: Our findings show a direct evidence for PVTT origin and consolidate the heterogeneity of PVTTs observed in clinic.The results suggest that PVTT investigation at a molecular level is clinically necessary for diagnosis and treatment.Shupeng Liu Zaixin Zhou Yin Jia Jie Xue Zhiyong Liu Kai Cheng Shuqun Cheng Shanrong Liu 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,1:1
