| 1 | Construction and visualization of high-resolution three-dimensional anatomical structure datasets for Chinese digital human显示文摘The objective of the China Digital Human Project (CDH) is to digitize and visualize the anatomical structures of human body. In the project, a database with information of morphology, physical charac-teristics and physiological function will be constructed. The raw data of CDH which was completed in the Southern Medical University is employed. In Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), the frozen section images are preprocessed, segmented, labeled in accordance with the major organs and tissues of human beings, and reconstructed into three-dimensional (3D) models in parallel on high performance computing clusters (HPC). Some visualization software for 2D atlas and 3D mod-els are developed based on the new dataset with high resolution (0.1mm×0.1mm×0.2mm). In order to share, release and popularize the above work, a website (www.vch.org.cn) is online. | 2 | BIX-01294-enhanced chemosensitivity in nasopharyngeal carcinoma depends on autophagy-induced pyroptosis显示文摘Nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)is a common cancer in southern China and Southeast Asia.Nowadays,radiotherapy is the therapy of choice for NPC patients,and chemotherapy has been found as an alternative treatment for advanced NPC patients.However,finding novel drugs and pharmacologically therapeutic targets for NPC patients is still urgent and beneficial.Our study showed that BIX-01294(BIX)can induce autophagic vacuoles formation and conversion of LC3B-I to LC3B-II in NPC cells in both dose-and time-dependent manners.Notably,the combination of BIX and chemotherapeutic drugs significantly decreased the cell viability and increased the lactate dehydrogenase release.Meanwhile,BIX plus cis-platinum(Cis)treatment induced pyroptosis in NPC cells as featured by cell swelling and bubble blowing from the plasma membrane,the increased frequency of annexin V and propidium iodide(PI)double-positive cells,as well as the cleavage of gasdermin E(GSDME)and caspase-3.Moreover,the deficiency of GSDME completely shifted pyroptosis to apoptosis.Furthermore,the inhibition of autophagy by chloroquine and the knockout of ATG5 gene significantly blocked the BIX-induced autophagy as well as pyroptosis in both in vitro and in vivo studies.Our data demonstrated that BIX-combined chemotherapeutic drugs could induce the Bax/caspase-3/GSDME-mediated pyroptosis through the activation of autophagy to enhance the chemosensitivity in NPC. | Qian Li Min Wang Yan Zhang Liuqian Wang Wei Yu Xiaomin Bao Biyun Zhang Yanghong Xiang Anchun Deng | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,10: | 5 |

| 10 | Folic acid-based supramolecules for enhanced stability in potassium ion batteries显示文摘Organics present significant prospects as environmentally friendly and sustainable electrode materials for potassium ion batteries(PIBs)because of their abundant,recyclable and highly customizable characteristics.However,small molecular organics are easily solubilized in organic electrolytes,resulting in a low capacity and poor stability.Herein,the folic acid-based supermolecules(SM-FAs)are successfully prepared by a hydrothermal assisted self-assembly strategy.Due to multi-locus hydrogen bonds(HBs)and the cyclizedπ-conjugated interactions,the structural stability of SM-FAs has been significantly improved,and the solubility in carbonate electrolytes has been effectively inhibited.As an anode for PIB,the SM-FA-6sample exhibits a large capacity(206 mAh/g at 50 mA/g)and an outstanding cycle stability(capacity retention of 91%after 1000 cycles at 50 m A/g).More impressively,an integrative storage mechanism which combines both the general enolization reaction between C=O groups and K^(+),and the atypicalπ–K^(+)interaction within the assembled conjugation framework,is unraveled for potassium ion accumulation.It is envisioned that this facile self-assemble strategy opens up a promising avenue to modulate the stability of small molecular organic electrodes with enhanced storage capacity. | Yanan Wang Dandan Ouyang Liuqian Yang Chunyan Wang Jian Sun Hui Zhu Jiao Yin | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,9: | 0 |
