	1	Design of a Deterministic Interleaver for Turbo Codes and Its Applications in Self-Similar Traffic Streams显示文摘A new turbo interleaver is proposed and the proof of its mathematical completeness is provided.Our simulation results demonstrate that the BER performance of the associated turbo codec is similar to that of a random interleaver, despite the simple implementation of the proposed scheme. Even though the interleaver proposed here is a random one, the permuted results are deterministic, when the parameter h is set to a fixed integer. This characteristic is especially useful for reducing the hardware requirements imposed by the interleaving and deinterleaving operations.
