1Power-Controlled MAC Protocols with Dynamic Neighbor Prediction for Ad hoc Networks显示文摘Energy and bandwidth are the scarce resources in ad hoc networks because most of the mobile nodes are battery-supplied and share the exclusive wireless medium. Integrating the power control into MAC protocol is a promising technique to fully exploit these precious resources of ad hoc wireless networks. In this paper, a new intelligent power-controlled Medium Access Control (MAC) (iMAC) protocol with dynamic neighbor prediction is proposed. Through the elaborate design of the distributed transmit-receive strategy of mobile nodes, iMAC greatly outperforms the prevailing IEEE 802.11 MAC protocols in not only energy conservation but also network throughput. Using the Dynamic Neighbor Prediction (DNP), iMAC performs well in mobile scenes. To the best of our knowledge, iMAC is the first protocol that considers the performance deterioration of power-controlled MAC protocols in mobile scenes and then proposes a solution. 2Pantograph-catenary electrical contact system of high-speed railways:recent progress,challenges,and outlooks显示文摘As the unique power entrance,the pantograph-catenary electrical contact system maintains the efficiency and reliability of power transmission for the high-speed train.Along with the fast development of high-speed railways all over the world,some commercialized lines are built for covering the remote places under harsh environment,especially in China;these environmental elements including wind,sand,rain,thunder,ice and snow need to be considered during the design of the pantograph-catenary system.The pantograph-catenary system includes the pantograph,the contact wire and the interface—pantograph slide.As the key component,this pantograph slide plays a critical role in reliable power transmission under dynamic condition.The fundamental material characteristics of the pantograph slide and contact wire such as electrical conductivity,impact resistance,wear resistance,etc.,directly determine the sliding electrical contact performance of the pantograph-catenary system;meanwhile,different detection methods of the pantograph-catenary system are crucial for the reliability of service and maintenance.In addition,the challenges brought from extreme operational conditions are discussed,taking the Sichuan-Tibet Railway currently under construction as a special example with the high-altitude climate.The outlook for developing the ultra-high-speed train equipped with the novel pantograph-catenary system which can address the harsher operational environment is also involved.This paper has provided a comprehensive review of the high-speed railway pantograph-catenary systems,including its progress,challenges,outlooks in the history and future.Guangning Wu Keliang Dong Zhilei Xu Song Xiao Wenfu Wei Huan Chen Jie Li Zhanglin Huang Jingwei Li Guoqiang Gao Guozheng Kang Chuanjun Tu Xingyi Huang 2022Railway Engineering Science2022,30,4:5
3ZERO TRANSMISSION AND ITS APPLICATION IN HIGH SPEED CNC MACHINE TOOLS显示文摘In order to realize high speed machining,the special requirements for the transmission and sturctrue of CNC machine tool have to be satisfied.A high speed spindle unit driven by a built-in motor is developed.An oil-water heat exchange system is used for cooling the spindle motor.The spindle is supported by Si4N3 ceramic ball angular contact bearings. 4EffectofEr^(3+) and Nd^(3+)doping on the luminescent properties of BaMgAl_(10)O_(17):Euphosphor显示文摘BaMgAl10O17:Eu blue phosphors were synthesized and the effect of doping Er3+ and Nd3+ ions in the phosphoron the luminescent properties was investigated. When the content of Er3+ and Nd3+ ions is small, the phosphor remains sin-gle phase and the luminescent intensity of Eu2+ increases effectively. When Er3+ is doped, the shape of the excitation spec-trum of the phosphor in the UV (ultraviolet) region remains unchanged. 5Estimating differential quantities from point cloud based on a linear fitting of normal vectors显示文摘Estimation of differential geometric properties on a discrete surface is a fundamental work in computer graphics and computer vision. In this paper, we present an accurate and robust method for estimating differential quantities from unorganized point cloud. The principal curvatures and principal directions at each point are computed with the help of partial derivatives of the unit normal vector at that point, where the normal derivatives are estimated by fitting a linear function to each component of the normal vectors in a neighborhood. This method takes into account the normal information of all neighboring points and computes curvatures directly from the variation of unit normal vectors, which improves the accuracy and robustness of curvature estimation on irregular sampled noisy data. The main advantage of our approach is that the estimation of curvatures at a point does not rely on the accuracy of the normal vector at that point, and the normal vectors can be refined in the process of curvature estimation. 7Design of a Deterministic Interleaver for Turbo Codes and Its Applications in Self-Similar Traffic Streams显示文摘A new turbo interleaver is proposed and the proof of its mathematical completeness is provided.Our simulation results demonstrate that the BER performance of the associated turbo codec is similar to that of a random interleaver, despite the simple implementation of the proposed scheme. Even though the interleaver proposed here is a random one, the permuted results are deterministic, when the parameter h is set to a fixed integer. This characteristic is especially useful for reducing the hardware requirements imposed by the interleaving and deinterleaving operations. 9Environmental behaviors of phoxim with two formulations in bamboo forest under soil surface mulching显示文摘Phoxim(emulsifiable concentrate(EC) and granules(G)) has been widely used in bamboo forests. The persistence and magnitude of phoxim residues in the crop and soil must be investigated to ensure human and environmental safety. The environmental behaviors of the two formulations were investigated in a bamboo forest under soil surface mulching conditions(CP) and non-covered cultivation conditions(NCP). The half-lives of phoxim in soil under the two conditions in soil were 4.1–6.2 days(EC) and 31.5–49.5 days(G),respectively. Phoxim in EC could be leached from the topsoil into the subsoil. A minimized leaching effect was observed for G under NCP. Inversely, an enhanced leaching effect was observed for G under CP. The G formulation resulted in more parent compound(in bamboo shoots) and metabolite(in soil) residues of phoxim than in the case of EC, especially under CP conditions. In addition, the intensity and duration of the formulation effect on soil p H adjustment from G were more obvious than that from EC. Results showed that the environmental behaviors(distribution, degradation, residue) of phoxim in the bamboo forest were significantly influenced by the type of formulation. The prolongation effect from phoxim G might cause persistence and long-term environmental risk. 10Heat exposure impairs porcine oocyte quality with suppressed actin expression in cumulus cells and disrupted F-actin formation in transzonal projections显示文摘Background:Transzonal projections(TZPs)constitute a structural basis for the communication between the oocyte and its surrounding cumulus cells(CCs),which play critical roles in promoting the oocyte maturation.Previously we found that heat stress(HS)causes loss of TZPs in porcine cumulus-oocyte complexes(COCs)with decreased density of filamentous actin(F-actin).However,the time-course responses of F-actin and its monomeric actins(β-actin andγ-actin)during the in vitro maturation of oocytes remain unclear.Results:In this study,excised porcine ovaries were exposed to HS at 41.5°C for 1 h before COCs were isolated and matured in vitro for 44 h.HS significantly reduced oocyte quality,characterized by impaired cumulus expansion,delayed meiotic resumption and lower survival rate and polar body extrusion rate,as well as decreased expression of mitochondrial DNA-encoded genes and elevated mitochondrial reactive oxygen species concentration.Expression ofβ-actin andγ-actin in CCs increased gradually with oocytes maturation,which was significantly reduced in HS group,especially at 24 h and/or 44 h of in vitro maturation.By contrast,the number of TZPs and the fluorescence intensity of F-actin in zona pellucida decreased gradually during oocytes maturation,which were significantly reduced by HS at 24 h of in vitro maturation.Moreover,colocalization analyses revealed bothβ-actin andγ-actin contribute to the F-actin formation in porcine TZPs,and the colocalization of F-actin with GJ protein connexin 45 was significantly reduced in heat-exposed COCs.Conclusions:The results indicate that the suppression of actin expressions in CCs,which may lead to the F-actin unstabilization in TZPs,will subsequently contribute to the compromised quality of oocytes under HS.Chao Yin Jie Liu Zhanglin Chang Bin He Yang Yang Ruqian Zhao 2020Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2020,11,3:2

13Tailoring biochar by PHP towards the oxygenated functional groups(OFGs)-rich surface to improve adsorption performance显示文摘In this work,a modification method of H_(3)PO_(4)plus H_(2)O_(2)(PHP)was introduced to targetedly form abundant oxygenated functional groups(OFGs)on biochar,and methylene blue(MB)was employed as a model pollutant for adsorption to reflect the modification performance.Results indicated that parent biochars,especially derived from lower temperatures,substantially underwent oxidative modification by PHP,and OFGs were targetedly produced.Correspondingly,approximately 21.5-fold MB adsorption capacity was achieved by PHP-modified biochar comparing with its parent biochar.To evaluate the compatibility of PHP-modification,coefficient of variation(CV)based on MB adsorption capacity by the biochar from various precursors was calculated,in which the CV of PHP-modified biochars was 0.0038 comparing to0.64 of the corresponding parent biochars.These results suggested that the PHP method displayed the excellent feedstock compatibility on biochar modification.The maximum MB adsorption capacity was454.1 mg/g when the H_(3)PO_(4)and H_(2)O_(2)fraction in PHP were 65.2%and 7.0%;the modification was further intensified by promoting temperature and duration.Besides,average 94.5%H_(3)PO_(4)was recovered after 10-batch modification,implying 1.0 kg H_(3)PO_(4)(85%)in PHP can maximally modify 2.37 kg biochar.Overall,this work offered a novel method to tailor biochar towards OFGs-rich surface for efficient adsorption.Xinyue Xiong Zhanglin Liu Li Zhao Mei Huang Lichun Dai Dong Tian Jianmei Zou Yongmei Zeng Jinguang Hu Fei Shen 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:1
