1A Hybrid Forecasting Framework Based on Support Vector Regression with a Modified Genetic Algorithm and a Random Forest for Traffic Flow Prediction显示文摘The ability to perform short-term traffic flow forecasting is a crucial component of intelligent transportation systems. However, accurate and reliable traffic flow forecasting is still a significant issue due to the complexity and variability of real traffic systems. To improve the accuracy of short-term traffic flow forecasting, this paper presents a novel hybrid prediction framework based on Support Vector Regression(SVR) that uses a Random Forest(RF) to select the most informative feature subset and an enhanced Genetic Algorithm(GA) with chaotic characteristics to identify the optimal forecasting model parameters. The framework is evaluated with real-world traffic data collected from eight sensors located near the I-605 interstate highway in California. 2Location Prediction on Trajectory Data: A Review显示文摘Location prediction is the key technique in many location based services including route navigation, dining location recommendations, and traffic planning and control, to mention a few. This survey provides a comprehensive overview of location prediction, including basic definitions and concepts, algorithms, and applications. First, we introduce the types of trajectory data and related basic concepts. Then, we review existing location-prediction methods, ranging from temporal-pattern-based prediction to spatiotemporal-pattern-based prediction. We also discuss and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms and briefly summarize current applications of location prediction in diverse fields. 3Noise Reduction for Images with Non-uniform Noise Using Adaptive Block Matching 3D Filtering显示文摘Noise reduction is a very important topic in image processing. We propose a new method to deal with the case where the noisy image has different noise levels in different regions. The main idea is to segment automatically the noisy image into several sub-images so that each sub-image has approximately the same noise level. We perform Block matching 3D filtering(BM3D) to these subimages in order to obtain denoised sub-images. We then merge sub-images together and enhance the discontinuous regions between the sub-images by performing BM3D again on small image patches. Our experimental results show the effectiveness of this proposed method in terms of Peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR) when compared with the bivariate wavelet shrinkage and the standard BM3D method. 9Influence of Mg Addition on Graphite Particle Distribution in the Al Alloy Matrix Composites显示文摘Al alloy matrix composites reinforced with copper-coated graphite particle have been prepared by melt stirring process in this work.The effect of the addition of Mg on distribution of the graphite particles has been investigated.Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to observe the micro-morphology of Al alloy matrix composites reinforced with graphite particles.Meanwhile,the content of graphite was analyzed in the different position of casting by dissolution method and the mechanical properties of the composites were detected.The results show that the content of graphite increase with increasing Mg content;the graphite particles distribute uniformly in the particle reinforced metal matrix composites (PMMC) with 0.6 wt pct Mg;however,the agglomeration of the graphite particles is observed obviously in the matrix when Mg content is more than 1.0 wt pct.In addition,the proper Mg addition amount is beneficial to enhance the mechanical properties of the graphite particles reinforced Al alloy matrix composites and the abrasion resistance of the materials due to a reduce friction coefficient.Zhengang Liu,Guoyin Zu,Hongjie Luo,Yihan Liu and Guangchun Yao School of Materials & Metallurgy,Northeastern University,Shenyang 110004,China 2010Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,3:1

12Disseminating Authorized Content via Data Analysis in Opportunistic Social Networks显示文摘Authorized content is a type of content that can be generated only by a certain Content Provider(CP).The content copies delivered to a user may bring rewards to the CP if the content is adopted by the user. The overall reward obtained by the CP depends on the user's degree of interest in the content and the user's role in disseminating the content copies. Thus, to maximize the reward, the content provider is motivated to disseminate the authorized content to the most interested users. In this paper, we study how to effectively disseminate the authorized content in Interest-centric Opportunistic Social Networks(IOSNs) such that the reward is maximized.We first derive Social Connection Pattern(SCP) data to handle the challenging opportunistic connections in IOSNs and statistically analyze the interest distribution of the users contacted or connected. The SCP is used to predict the interests of possible contactors and connectors. Then, we propose our SCP-based Dissemination(SCPD)algorithm to calculate the optimum number of content copies to disseminate when two users meet. 14HCOS:A Unified Model and Architecture for Cloud Operating System显示文摘Currently, Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS) and Platform as a Service(PaaS) platforms play a role as a cloud operating system(COS).They are separated from each other in resource management,which may cause inconsistent resource status and result in the decrease of performance. Moreover, heterogeneous resources are not managed well in existing cloud computing platforms. Referring to the theory of operating system, we propose a unified architecture model of cloud operating system, which has six layers corresponding to the layered architecture of legacy operating system. Based on this architecture, a new cloud operating system called Hua-Cloud Computing System(HCOS) is realized. In HCOS, the hybrid resources are managed in a unified way. 15Cross-Dimension Attentive Feature Fusion Network for Unsupervised Time-Series Anomaly Detection显示文摘Time series anomaly detection is crucial in various industrial applications to identify unusual behaviors within the time series data.Due to the challenges associated with annotating anomaly events,time series reconstruction has become a prevalent approach for unsupervised anomaly detection.However,effectively learning representations and achieving accurate detection results remain challenging due to the intricate temporal patterns and dependencies in real-world time series.In this paper,we propose a cross-dimension attentive feature fusion network for time series anomaly detection,referred to as CAFFN.Specifically,a series and feature mixing block is introduced to learn representations in 1D space.Additionally,a fast Fourier transform is employed to convert the time series into 2D space,providing the capability for 2D feature extraction.Finally,a cross-dimension attentive feature fusion mechanism is designed that adaptively integrates features across different dimensions for anomaly detection.Experimental results on real-world time series datasets demonstrate that CAFFN performs better than other competing methods in time series anomaly detection.Rui Wang Yao Zhou Guangchun Luo Peng Chen Dezhong Peng 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,6:0
16Denoising Graph Inference Network for Document-Level Relation Extraction显示文摘Relation Extraction(RE)is to obtain a predefined relation type of two entities mentioned in a piece of text,e.g.,a sentence-level or a document-level text.Most existing studies suffer from the noise in the text,and necessary pruning is of great importance.The conventional sentence-level RE task addresses this issue by a denoising method using the shortest dependency path to build a long-range semantic dependency between entity pairs.However,this kind of denoising method is scarce in document-level RE.In this work,we explicitly model a denoised document-level graph based on linguistic knowledge to capture various long-range semantic dependencies among entities.We first formalize a Syntactic Dependency Tree forest(SDT-forest)by introducing the syntax and discourse dependency relation.Then,the Steiner tree algorithm extracts a mention-level denoised graph,Steiner Graph(SG),removing linguistically irrelevant words from the SDT-forest.We then devise a slide residual attention to highlight word-level evidence on text and SG.Finally,the classification is established on the SG to infer the relations of entity pairs.We conduct extensive experiments on three public datasets.The results evidence that our method is beneficial to establish long-range semantic dependency and can improve the classification performance with longer texts.Hailin Wang Ke Qin Guiduo Duan Guangchun Luo 2023Big Data Mining and Analytics2023,6,2:0
17Single-Atom Ce-N_(4)-C-(OH)_(2)Nanozyme-Catalyzed Cascade Reaction to Alleviate Hyperglycemia显示文摘The enzyme-mimicking catalytic activity of single-atom nanozymes has been widely used in tumor treatment.However,research on alleviating metabolic diseases,such as hyperglycemia,has not been reported.Herein,we found that the single-atom Ce-N_(4)-C-(OH)_(2)(SACe-N_(4)-C-(OH)_(2))nanozyme promoted glucose absorption in lysosomes,resulting in increased reactive oxygen species production in HepG2 cells.Furthermore,the SACe-N_(4)-C-(OH)_(2)nanozyme initiated a cascade reaction involving superoxide dismutase-,oxidase-,catalase-,and peroxidase-like activity to overcome the limitations associated with the substrate and produce•OH,thus improving glucose intolerance and insulin resistance by increasing the phosphorylation of protein kinase B and glycogen synthase kinase 3β,and the expression of glycogen synthase,promoting glycogen synthesis to improve glucose intolerance and insulin resistance in high-fat diet-induced hyperglycemic mice.Altogether,these results demonstrated that the novel nanozyme SACeN_(4)-C-(OH)_(2)alleviated the effects of hyperglycemia without evident toxicity,demonstrating its excellent clinical application potential.Guangchun Song Jia Xu Hong Zhong Qi Zhang Xin Wang Yitong Lin Scott PBeckman Yunbo Luo Xiaoyun He Jin-Cheng Li Kunlun Huang Nan Cheng 2023Research2023,,4:0
