1The land use and land cover change database and its relative studies in China显示文摘In the mid-1990s, we established the national operative dynamic information serving systems on natural resources and environment. During building the land-use/land-cover change (LUCC)database for the mid-1990s, 520 scenes of remotely sensed images of Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) were interpreted into land-use/land-cover categories at scale of 1:100,000 under overall digital software environment after being geo-referenced and ortho-rectified. The vector map of land-use/land-cover in China at the scale of 1:100,000 was recently converted into a 1-km raster database that captures all ofthe high-resolution land-use information by calculating area percentage for each kind of land use category within every cell. Being designed as an operative dynamic information serving system,monitoring the change in land-use/land-cover at national level was executed. We have completed the updating of LUCC database by comparing the TM data in the mid-1990s with new data sources received during 1999-2000 and 1989-1990. 7Planar morphology and controlling factors of the gullies in the Yuanmou Dry-hot Valley based on field investigation显示文摘The plane form of a gully can provide a basis for evaluating the gully volume and erosion rate, acting process, and evolutionary stage. For describing the planar characteristics of a permanent gully and understanding their controlling factors, this study, utilizing a total station and GPS RTK, measured the shoulder lines and channel curves of 112 gullies in six sites of the Yuanmou Dry-hot Valley and then mapped them by Arc GIS software and calculated nine parameters. The results showed that the channel lengths range from 10.88 to 249.11 m; the widths range from 6.20 to 40.99 m; the perimeters range from 54.11 to 541.67 m; the gully areas range from 153.02 to 6,930.30 m2; the left-side areas range from 92.93 to 4,027.20 m2; and the right-side areas range from 63.65 to 3,539.77 m2. The slightly sinuous and straight gullies account for 73.21% of the total gullies; the quantity of the right skewed gullies is 8.93% greater than that of the left skewed ones based on the symmetry ratio; the shape ratios range from 1.12 to 1.40 and the morphology ratios from 0.038 to 1.294; the fractal dimension is 1.192. Gullies in different sites have diverse planar characteristics. Except for the symmetry index, which was close to a negatively skewed distribution, all of the other parameters had the characteristic of positively skewed distribution. The gully area is related to the length and width, but the gully length has a weak correlation with the width. The evolutionary stage, topographic conditions, strata, soil properties, and piping erosion played very important roles in the gully planar morphology. 13Preparation and Properties of Bio-Based Flame Retardant L-APP/Poly(L-lactic acid)Composites显示文摘Poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)is a thermoplastic material with complete degradability,high biocompatibility and excellent mechanical properties.It can replace petroleum-based polymers are currently being used in the fields of packaging,agriculture,textiles,medical and so on.However,PLLA’s extremely flammability greatly limits its wider application.An bio-based flame retardant L-APP/PLLA composites was prepared by melt blending of the L-APP and PLLA.The morphology,impact properties,thermal properties and flame retardant properties of composites were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM),impact tester,differential scanning calorimeter(DSC),thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA),limiting oxygen indexer(LOI)and horizontalvertical burning tester.The results showed that the degree of crystallization(X_(c))and LOI of L-APP/PLLA composites increased as increasing of L-APP content.What’s more,the impact strength first increased and then decreased,the glass transition temperature(T_(g))and melting temperature(T_(m))do not changed significantly.The impact strength of composites was 9.1 kJ/m^(2) at a 5 wt%loading for L-APP,which was the highest level.When the content of L-APP was 20%,the LOI was 30.8%,the Xc was 42.3%and the UL-94 level was V-0.This research can promote the value-added utilization of lignin and the application of PLLA in the fields of flame retardant materials.Qionglin Luo Mingliang Wang Hui Zhang Yuejun Ouyang Hongwei Lin You Shu Shengpei Su 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,12:1

18A rapidly magnetically assembled stem cell microtissue with“hamburger”architecture and enhanced vascularization capacity显示文摘With the development of magnetic manipulation technology based on magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs),scaffold-free microtissues can be constructed utilizing the magnetic attraction of MNP-labeled cells.The rapid in vitro construction and in vivo vascularization of microtissues with complex hierarchical architectures are of great importance to the viability and function of stem cell microtissues.Endothelial cells are indispensable for the formation of blood vessels and can be used in the prevascularization of engineered tissue constructs.Herein,safe and rapid magnetic labeling of cells was achieved by incubation with MNPs for 1 h,and ultrathick scaffold-free microtissues with different sophisticated architectures were rapidly assembled,layer by layer,in 5 min intervals.The in vivo transplantation results showed that in a stem cell microtissue with trisection architecture,the two separated human umbilical vein endothelial cell(HUVEC)layers would spontaneously extend to the stem cell layers and connect with each other to form a spatial network of functional blood vessels,which anastomosed with the host vasculature.The“hamburger”architecture of stem cell microtissues with separated HUVEC layers could promote vascularization and stem cell survival.This study will contribute to the construction and application of structural and functional tissues or organs in the future.Yuezhi Lu Chun-Hua Yu Guangzheng Yang Ningjia Sun Fei Jiang Mingliang Zhou Xiaolin Wu Jiaxin Luo Cui Huang Wenjie Zhang Xinquan Jiang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,11:1
