| 1 | 花曲柳窄吉丁的寄主植物范围、危害和防治对策显示文摘花曲柳窄吉丁(emeraldashborer,EAB)AgrilusplanipennisFairmaire是木犀科(Oleaceae)属Fraxinus植物树木的毁灭性蛀干害虫,目前发现其主要危害欧亚属Subgen.Fraxinus欧组(SectionFraxinus)和象蜡树组(SectionMeliodes)的一些树木种类,如美国白蜡Fraxinusamericana、洋白蜡F.pennsylvanicavarsubintegerrima、绒毛白蜡F.velutina、黑白蜡F.nigra和水曲柳F.mandshurica等。与早期文献上的记载不同,很少发现花曲柳窄吉丁对苦枥木亚属Subgen.Ornus白蜡树组(SectionOrnaster)的白蜡树F.chinensisRoxb和花曲柳F.rhynchophylla造成危害。不同寄主白蜡树对花曲柳窄吉丁的敏感性不同,洋白蜡、绒毛白蜡等北美白蜡树种受其危害重于亚洲的水曲柳。这可能是由于长期的适应进化,分布在亚洲地区的属寄主树木发展了对花曲柳窄吉丁的抗虫性。中国部分地区发生的花曲柳窄吉丁灾害应该归属于引进的北美白蜡树种对本地害虫敏感所致。在天津、黑龙江、吉林、辽宁、河北、山东、四川、台湾、内蒙古和新疆等省市和自治区,都曾发现花曲柳窄吉丁的危害或分布。白蜡属树木广泛分布于我国除了青藏地区和海南省之外的大部分地区,其中大面积引种北美白蜡树种的北方和西北地区,以及近年来种植发展水曲柳的东北地区都是花曲柳窄吉丁这种毁灭性蛀干害虫的潜在发生地。花曲柳窄吉丁在我国部分地区为检疫性林业害虫,做好检疫是杜绝其扩散蔓延的首要方法。我国局部地区出现花曲柳窄吉丁灾害说明,北美白蜡树种在我国的适应性还需要进行更进一步科学的全面的风险评估,在我国生态建设中应重视利用我国本地的白蜡树种。在花曲柳窄吉丁灾害的治理中,可采用营造混交林以降低蔓延的速度和发挥自然控制能力,加强肥水管理以增强树木的抗虫能力,清除被害木消灭虫源,以及幼虫期树干注射、成虫期喷洒化学农药等防治措施。 | 赵同海 高瑞桐 Houping LIU Leah S.BAUER 孙龙强 | 2005 | 昆虫学报2005,48,4: | 28 |

Tau is one of the brain microtubule-associated proteins. Here we discuss tau's functions in microtubule assembly and stabilization and with regard to its interactions with other proteins. We describe and analyze important post-translational modifications: hyperphosphorylation, ubiquitination, glycation, glycosylation, nitration, polyamination, proteolysis, acetylation, and methylation. We discuss how these post-translational modifi cations can alter tau's biological function. We analyze the role of mitochondrial health in neurodegeneration. We propose that microtubules could be a therapeutic target and review different approaches. | 9 | The effect of the CHAMP intervention on fundamental motor skills and outdoor physical activity in preschoolers显示文摘Purpose: Physical activity(PA) and fundamental motor skills are important components of current and future trajectories of health in young children. This study examined the effects of a 5-week motor skill intervention on preschoolers' motor skill competence and their PA behaviors while participating in the motor skill intervention or outdoor free play(recess).Methods: A total of 102 preschoolers served as participants and were part of a motor skill intervention group(n = 64) or a control/outdoor free play group(n = 38). Children's motor skills were assessed before and after the intervention using the Test of Gross Motor Development-3 rd edition. PA during the motor skill intervention and outdoor free play was assessed using accelerometers both immediately before the start(baseline, Week 0 or Week 1) and end(late, Week 5 or Week 6) of the intervention.Results: All children significantly improved their motor skills from baseline to late assessment(p < 0.05). Children in the motor skill intervention demonstrated greater rates of change(p < 0.001) and scored higher on all motor skills at the late assessment compared with the control group(p < 0.001). There was no effect of group(control vs. intervention), but there was a significant effect of sex on children's PA during outdoor free play at baseline(p < 0.05). Similarly, there was no effect of group on PA during days with the movement program(intervention vs. outdoor free play) at either time point, but boys were more active than girls at the late assessment(p < 0.05). Last, children in the intervention engaged in more PA while participating in the intervention toward the end of the intervention than at the beginning.Conclusion: The 5-week motor skill intervention was effective at improving preschoolers' motor skills and rates of change in motor skills were higher for children who completed the intervention compared with children in the control group. | 10 | Hepatic angiosarcoma with clinical and histological features of Kasabach-Merritt syndrome显示文摘Hepatic angiosarcoma is a mesenchymal tumor originating from liver sinusoidal endothelial cells. It is an extremely rare malignant neoplasm accounting for less than 1% of primary malignant liver tumors. The deregulated coagulopathy that can be seen in hepatic angiosarcoma fulfills the clinical diagnostic criteria of disseminated intravascular coagulation. However, the mechanism that governs this coagulopathy has been poorly understood. This case report provides histological evidence of the consumption of coagulation factors along with trapped platelets occurring within the tumor, which is the foundation for the concept of Kasabach-Merritt syndrome(KMS). KMS is characterized by thrombocytopenia and hyperconsumption of coagulation factors within a vascular tumor. However, KMS associated with angiosarcoma has not been well recognized. | 12 | Pre-osteoblastic MC3T3-E1 cells promote breast cancer growth in bone in a murine xenograft model显示文摘The bones are the most common sites of breast cancer metastasis. Upon arrival within the bone microenvironment, breast cancer cells coordinate the activities of stromal cells, resulting in an increase in osteoclast activity and bone matrix degradation. In late stages of bone metastasis, breast cancer cells induce apoptosis in osteoblasts, which further exacerbates bone loss. However, in early stages, breast cancer cells induce osteoblasts to secrete inflammatory cytokines purported to drive tumor progression. To more thoroughly evaluate the role of osteoblasts in early stages of breast cancer metastasis to the bones, we used green fluorescent protein-labeled human breast cancer cell lines MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-435, which both induce osteolysis after intra-femoral injection in athymic mice, and the murine pre-osteoblastic cell line MC3T3-E1 to modulate osteoblast populations at the sites of breast cancer metastasis. Breast cancer cells were injected directly into the femur with or without equal numbers of MC3T3-E1 cells. Tumors grew significantly larger when co-injected with breast cancer cells and MC3T3-E1 cells than injected with breast cancer cells alone. Osteolysis was induced in both groups, indicating that MC3T3-E1 cells did not block the ability of breast cancer cells to cause bone destruction. MC3T3-E1 cells promoted tumor growth out of the bone into the extraosseous stroma. | 18 | Efficacy of selective laser trabeculoplasty following incisional glaucoma surgery显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of selective laser trabeculoplasty(SLT) in glaucomatous eyes with previous incisional glaucoma surgery. METHODS: A retrospective cohort of eyes that underwent SLT at a single institution from 2013-2015 were followed for 1 y. Reduction in intraocular pressure(IOP) following SLT was evaluated in eyes with prior trabeculectomy with Ex Press mini shunt(Alcon, Ft Worth, TX, USA), Ahmed valve(New World Medical, Cucamonga, CA, USA), or combined phacoemulsification-trabeculectomy. A control group was included with eyes without prior surgery that underwent SLT. Success was defined as >20% drop in IOP from pre-SLT baseline. RESULTS: One-hundred and six eyes were included with 53 in both the prior glaucoma surgery(PGS) and no prior glaucoma surgery(NPGS) groups. Mean pre-SLT IOP was 19.2±4.3 and 20.6±6.0 mm Hg for PGS and NPGS groups, respectively(P=0.17). Both groups produced statistically significant IOP reductions at 1 and 6 mo(P<0.04). At 6 mo, mean IOP reduction reached 7.3% and 10.8% for the PGS and NPGS groups, respectively(P=0.42). Overall, 27.9% and 31.7% of eyes in PGS and NPGS groups met success criteria at 1 y(P=0.70). In the PGS group, eyes with baseline IOP ≥21 mm Hg had IOP reductions of 18.1%(P<0.001), 16.7%(P<0.01), and 8.4%(P=0.31) compared to eyes with baseline IOP <21 mm Hg who had IOP reductions of 2.3%(P=0.39), 3.4%(P=0.19), and 1.1%(P=0.72) at 1, 6 mo, and 1 y, respectively. CONCLUSION: SLT is efficacious in eyes with prior incisional glaucoma surgery and results in similar IOP reductions compared to eyes without PGS.
