1Guidelines for evaluation and management of cerebral collateral circulation in ischaemic stroke 2017显示文摘Collateral circulation plays a vital role in sustaining blood flow to the ischaemic areas in acute,subacute or chronic phases after an ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack.Good collateral circulation has shown protective effects towards a favourable functional outcome and a lower risk of recurrence in stroke attributed to different aetiologies or undergoing medical or endovascular treatment.Over the past decade,the importance of collateral circulation has attracted more attention and is becoming a hot spot for research.However,the diversity in imaging methods and criteria to evaluate collateral circulation has hindered comparisons of findings from different cohorts and further studies in exploring the clinical relevance of collateral circulation and possible methods to enhance collateral flow.The statement is aimed to update currently available evidence and provide evidence-based recommendations regarding grading methods for collateral circulation,its significance in patients with stroke and methods under investigation to improve collateral flow.Liping Liu Jing Ding Xinyi Leng Yuehua Pu Li-An Huang Anding Xu Ka Sing Lawrence Wong Xin Wang Yongjun Wang 2018Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,3:37
2Endovascular treatment with or without intravenous alteplase for acute ischaemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion显示文摘Background and purpose It remains controversial if endovascular treatment(EVT)can improve the outcome of patients with acute basilar artery occlusion(BAO).This study aims to compare the functional outcomes between EVT with and without intravenous thrombolysis(IVT)first in patients who had acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)due to BAO.Methods Patients who had AIS with BAO who underwent EVT within 24 hours of onset were enrolled in this multicentre cohort study,and the efficacy and safety were compared between IVT+EVT and direct EVT.The primary outcome was 90-day functional independence.All outcomes were assessed with adjusted OR(aOR)from the multivariable logistic regression.In addition,a meta-analysis was performed on all recently published pivotal studies on functional independence after EVT in patients with BAO.Results Of 310 enrolled patients with BAO,241(78%)were treated with direct EVT and 69(22%)with IVT+EVT.Direct EVT was associated with a worse functional outcome(aOR,0.46(95%CI 0.24 to 0.85),p=0.01).IVT+EVT was associated with a lower percentage of patients who needed≥3 passes of stent retriever(10.14%vs 20.75%).The meta-analysis regression revealed a potential positive correlation between bridging with IVT first and functional independence(r=0.14(95%CI 0.05 to 0.24),p<0.01).Conclusions This study showed that compared with direct EVT,EVT with IVT first was associated with better functional outcomes in patients with BAO treated within 24 hours of onset.The meta-analysis demonstrated similar favourable efficacy of IVT first followed by EVT in patients with BAO.Ximing Nie David Wang Yuehua Pu Yufei Wei Qixuan Lu Hongyi Yan Xin Liu Lina Zheng Jingyi Liu Xinxuan Yang Yarong Ding Dacheng Liu Wanying Duan Zhe Zhang Zhonghua Yang Miao Wen Weibin Gu Xinyi Hou Xinyi Leng Yuesong Pan Zhongrong Miao Liping Liu 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,3:10
3World’s first spaceflight on-orbit demonstration of a flexible solar array system based on shape memory polymer composites显示文摘With a 10%reversible compressive strain in more than 10 deformation cycles,the shape memory polymer composites(SMPCs)could be used for deployable structure and releasing mechanism.In this paper,without traditional electro-explosive devices or motors/controllers,the deployable SMPC flexible solar array system(SMPC-FSAS)is studied,developed,ground-based tested,and finally on-orbit validated.The epoxy-based SMPC is used for the rolling-out variable-stiffness beams as a structural frame as well as an actuator for the flexible blanket solar array.The releasing mechanism is primarily made of the cyanate-based SMPC,which has a high locking stiffness to withstand 50 g gravitational acceleration and a large unlocking displacement of 10 mm.The systematical mechanical and thermal qualification tests of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware were performed,including sinusoidal sweeping vibration,shocking,acceleration,thermal equilibrium,thermal vacuum cycling,and thermal cycling test.The locking function of the SMPC releasing mechanisms was in normal when launching aboard the SJ20 Geostationary Satellite on 27 Dec.,2019.The SMPC-FSAS flight hardware successfully unlocked and deployed on 5 Jan.,2020 on geostationary orbit.The triggering signal of limit switches returned to ground at the 139 s upon heating,which indicated the successful unlocking function of SMPC releasing mechanisms.A pair of epoxy-based SMPC rolled variable-stiffness tubes,which clapped the flexible blanket solar array,slowly deployed and finally approached an approximate 100%shape recovery ratio within 60 s upon heating.The study and on-orbit successful validation of the SMPC-FSAS flight hardware could accelerate the related study and associated productions to be used for the next-generation releasing mechanisms as well as space deployable structures,such as new releasing mechanisms with low-shocking,testability and reusability,and ultra-large space deployable solar arrays.LAN Xin LIU LiWu ZHANG FengHua LIU ZhengXian WANG LinLin LI QiFeng PENG Fan HAO SiDa DAI WenXu WAN Xue TANG Yong WANG Mian HAO YanYan YANG Yang YANG Cheng LIU YanJu LENG JinSong 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8:7
4Selective Synthesis of Hexagonal Ag Nanoplates in a Solution-Phase Chemical Reduction Process显示文摘Two-dimensional(2-D)Ag nanoplates have surface plasmon resonances which can be tuned from the visible to the near-IR by varying the size and morphology of the nanoplates.Due to their anisotropic structures and different surface energy distributions,Ag nanoplates-especially triangular ones-are kinetically stable and can transform into other nanostructures.Taking advantage of the synergetic effects of HNO_(3)and Cl-in the reduction solution,uniform Ag hexagonal nanoplates(HNPs)have been captured during the transformation of Ag triangular nanoplates(TNPs).The dimensions of the Ag HNPs can be controlled by changing the concentrations of reagents in the reaction or/and reduction solutions.Resonance absorption spectra of the obtained Ag HNPs indicated that their in-plane resonance peaks could be tuned from the visible to the near-IR region,showing their potential applications in medical diagnosis.Mingzhu Liu Mei Leng Chao Yu Xin Wang Cheng Wang 2010Nano Research2010,3,12:5

6Analysis of floral scent emitted from Syringa plants显示文摘Syringa is an important aromatic woody angiosperm that is widely planted in gardens. Its dry flowers are traditionally used to manufacture infusions and spices in China. In this study, the floral volatiles emitted from nine different Syringa species and varieties, viz.S. chinensis, S. protolaciniata, S. oblata, S. oblata var.giraldii, S. oblata var. plena, S. vulgaris ‘Mrs Harry Bickle', S. vulgaris ‘Bright Centennial', S. vulgaris ‘White Spires', and S. vulgaris ‘President Lincoln' were collected by the dynamic headspace technique, and then identified by automated thermal desorption–gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. There were significant differences incomponents and corresponding contents of floral scent emitted from the nine Syringa species and varieties.Among the detected components, b-ocimene exhibited the highest content, accounting for more than 70 % of the floral scent of S. protolaciniata, S. oblata var. giraldii, and S. vulgaris ‘Bright Centennial'. A significant daytime variation of floral scent emitted from S. pekinensis was recorded, especially for benzaldehyde, whose content first increased and then decreased. We studied the scent emitted from the in vitro flowers of S. vulgaris ‘Pres Lincoln'during the process of natural drying. Alcohol compounds were released in the greatest content, and the content of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol accounted for about 40 % of the total release amount. 8Architecture,Key Technologies and Applications of Load Dispatching in China Power Grid显示文摘With the development of renewable energy and the changes in the characteristics of power grid,it is becoming increasingly difficult to balance power supply and demand in space and time.In addition,the requirement for improved dispatching capability of power grid is increasing.Therefore,the potential of flexible load dispatching should be realized,which can promote the large-scale consumption of renewable energy and the construction of new power grid.Based on the analysis of existing load dispatching studies and the differences in the characteristics of domestic and foreign load dispatchings,a technical architecture and several key technologies are proposed for load resources to participate in power grid dispatching under the new situation,i.e.,the autonomous collaborative control system of load dispatching.This system implements the multi-layer coordinated control of main,distribution and micro grids(load aggregators).Adjustable load resources are aggregated through an aggregator operation platform and connected with a dispatcher load regulator platform to realize real-time data interaction with dispatching agencies as well as the monitoring,con-trol,and marketing of aggregators.It supports the load resources to participate in network-wide dispatching optimization via continuous power adjustment.Several key technologies such as the control mode,load modeling,dispatching strategy,and safety protection are also elaborated.Through the closed-loop control of orderly charging piles and energy storage clusters in the North China Power Grid,the feasibility of the proposed architecture and key technologies is verified.This route has successively supported multiple adjustable load aggregators to partici-pate in the ancillary services market of North China Power Grid for peak-shaving.Finally,the technical challenges of load resources participating in power grid dispatching under the dual carbon goals are discussed and prospected.Yu Dong Xin Shan Yaqin Yan Xiwu Leng Yi Wang 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,2:2
9Chitosan-graft-poly(L-glutamic acid) Hybrid Material and Its Self-assembly显示文摘Chitosan-graft-poly(L-glutamic acid)(CS-g-PGA) copolymer was successfully synthesized by grafting polymerization of γ-benzyl-L-glutamate N-carboxyanhydride onto the modified chitosan chains. The self-assembly behavior of such a CS-g-PGA amphiphilic copolymer was studied. The results show that spherical nanoparticles have been formed. The size of CS-g-PGA nanoparticles is found to be controlled by the grafting ratio of PGA. 11Preliminary design and analysis of a cubic deployable support structure based on shape memory polymer composite显示文摘The deployable structures based on shape memory polymer com-posites(SMPCs)have been developed for its unique properties,such as high reliability,low-cost,lightweight,and self-deployment without complex mechanical devices compared with traditional deployable structures.In order to increase the inflatable structure system’s robustness and light the weight of it,a cubic deployable support structure based on SMPC is designed and analyzed pre-liminarily.The cubic deployable support structure based on SMPC consists of four dependent spatial cages,each spatial cage is composed of 12 three-longeron SMPC truss booms and end con-nections.The shape recovery of arc-shaped deployable laminates drive the three-longeron SMPC truss booms to unfold,thus realize the expansion of the deployable support structure.The concept and operation of the cubic deployable support structure are described in detail.A series of experiments are performed on the three-longeron deployable laminates unit and the simplified cubic deployable support structure to investigate the shape recovery behavior in the deployment process.Results indicate that the cubic deployable support structure has a high deployment-tgo-stowage volume ratio and can achieve self-deployment,package,and deploy without complex mechanical devices.Fengfeng Li Liwu Liu Xin Lan Xiaojun Zhou Wenfeng Bian Yanju Liu Jinsong Leng 2016International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2016,7,2:1

16Effect of dietary defatted diatom biomass on egg production and quality of laying hens显示文摘Background:This study was to determine if feeding laying hens with defatted diatom microalgal biomass(DFA)from biofuel production affected their egg production and health status.Methods:Five replicates of 5 individually caged ISA Babcock White leghorn hens were fed 4 diets,including a corn-soybean meal control diet,a diet containing 7.5%DFA substituting for soybean meal,and diets containing7.5%or 15%DFA substituting for corn and soybean meal.Body weights,feed intake,feed conversion ratio(FCR),rate of egg production,egg size,egg mass,and several characteristics of eggs were determined at 4 and 8 wk.Venous blood was sampled at 4 and 8 wk for measurement of 5 biomarkers of health.Results:The 15%DFA diet decreased(P < 0.05) feed intake,egg production,and plasma uric acid concentrations as compared with the control diet,but increased(P < 0.05) egg albumen weight and height compared with the 7.5%DFA diets.The two levels of DFA produced dose-dependent(P < 0.05) changes in three color measures of egg yolk,without affecting four hen plasma biochemical indicators of health.Conclusions:Feeding laying hens with 7.5%DFA in the corn-soybean meal diet for 8 wk had no adverse effect on their health,egg production,or egg quality,but 15%inclusion reduced feed intake,egg production,and efficiency of feed utilization.Xiangjun Leng Kun-Nan Hsu Richard E Austic Xin'gen Lei 2014Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2014,5,3:1

18Low-Temperature Aging Provides 22% E cient Bromine-Free and Passivation Layer-Free Planar Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘Previous reports of formamidinium/methylamine(FAMA)-mixed halide perovskite solar cells have focused mainly on controlling the morphology of the perovskite film and its interface—for example,through the inclusion of bromine and surface passivation.In this paper,we describe a new processing pathway for the growth of a high-quality bromine-free FAMAPbI3 halide perovskites via the control of intermediate phase.Through low-temperature aging growth(LTAG)of a freshly deposited perovskite film,α-phase perovskites can be seeded in the intermediate phase and,at the same time,prevent beta-phase perovskite to nucleate.After postannealing,large grain-size perovskites with significantly reduced PbI2 presence on the surface can be obtained,thereby eliminating the need of additional surface passivation step.Our pristine LTAG-treated solar cells could provide PCEs of greater than 22%without elaborate use of bromine or an additional passivation layer.More importantly,when using this LTAG process,the growth of the pure alpha-phase FAMAPbI3 was highly reproducible.Xin Wang Luyao Wang Tong Shan Shibing Leng Hongliang Zhong Qinye Bao Zheng-Hong Lu Lin-Long Deng Chun-Chao Chen 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7:1
